The entire staff at Stanton Optical were terrific! I was completely satisfied with my visit and “eye” absolutely love my new glasses. I was greeted with such pleasant smiles and the staff did an extraordinary job at tending to me in such a timely fashion. I was in and out as I was able to continue my day accordingly! Highly recommend!

Not sure who the older lady is with glasses and curly medium length hair but I was out of town when my contact trial came in dealing with my father who is about to PASS AWAY and my phone has been broken. I came in to make an appointment so my contacts fit properly. She treated me like I was incompetent of anything and made me feel worthless. Instead of noticing I was upset and offering to set up an appointment for me, she just kept telling me that I needed to call them and saying she even left me a voicemail. She would not give me a chance to explain that my phone has been broken or I was out of town. I just told her I’ll order them online and then told me my prescription isn’t final and I can’t know my prescription. Which they cannot withhold ANY OF MY INFORMATION FROM ME. This place is usually pretty good... that woman deserves to be fired or suspended. She clearly just likes to argue with pregnant woman or anybody of that matter.

I had a great experience at Stanton Optical. Both the doctor and optician Georgiana were super informative and helpful. Georgiana let me browse as I pleased with no hassle. When I needed her help she was there. She took the time out of her busy day to go over different options and pricing for my new glasses. I really appreciated the great service I got and will definitely go back in the future.

Made an appointment for me and my son. Waited over an hour and more people kept coming in. Some people asked when they would be seen cause they made an appointment and the lady said they don’t give times. Why make an appointment the ? After the hour there were about 8-10 people waiting to be seen. Then to find out that the Dr isn’t even there. It is all virtual. I am not trusting my vision to a Dr that can look in my eyes correctly and thoroughly. What kind of service is that. With the amount of people that booked appointments why is there no Dr’s in the building? What is the point of appointments in person or on the website if everyone can come in and have appointments 5 minutes apart? There should be multiple Dr’s on site and not just one that is virtual. Why pay an eye exam if he can’t truly do an eye exam? You get a pre exam then have to wait again for a virtual exam?! Something is not right with this. Me and my son left after more people walked in and we still weren’t seen. I have told all my family and friend about this and they agree that a Dr should be there and will not be going there. My mom loves the place, but after our experience she is going somewhere else.

I was out of town and broke my glasses went in and was greeted kindly it was super busy kinda wanted to walk out with how many people were there but the sales manager jasmine must have seen the look of distress on my face came and asked me my issue and let me know it would be no problem seemed like she was handling at least 3 of us at once let me know it was covered because I got my glasses 3 weeks ago great service great selection in and out in a hour highly recommended

Dont live close to them and asked 3 times about our insurance told come in all insurance accepted. Got there after an hours drive just to be told insurance not in network so can pay this charge that charge and another charge out of pocket. Poor lady in front of me wanted the 2 for $59.95 just to be told it would be $199.00 and she could get the free second pair but couldnt exceed $19.99. When I was in Scholl this was called bait and switch and highly illegal. Monday when BB opens they will be receiving a call about this. DONT TRUST THEM

The people in the store were so helpful and I was able to get my first pair with no issues but the second pair it took almost a month to receive them. I called the callcenter over 6 times and every time they would either hang up on me or claim ignorance. The only time we actually got the store (after talking to them about refunds) we finally got the glasses within a few days but my prescription is completely wrong. I can barely see wearing them. It’s like looking through a constant fog and when I turn my head objects get skinner (weird huh?) There is no way I am calling that callcenter again (they barely understood me anyhow. Outsourcing at it’s finest) or going inside to bring this up because there is a huge communication problem. I will take my business elsewhere. I shouldn’t have to beg for my glasses and waste $200 on lenses I cannot even see through. Stanton, don’t bother trying to tell me to call and you will help because you won’t. (In regards to response: you honestly don’t care I was robbed $200 because of your store’s negligence. Too bad I cannot respond directly to your poorly orchestrated comment)

I was desperately trying to get an eye appointment as I have not been to an eye doctor in years, they were able to get me in the same day I called. I thought everyone was nice, professional, & the service didnt take forever. Amanda & Jasmine were both super helpful as I havent been in years so I dont know much about getting glasses. 👍

Initial service was good. What they didnt say is you will receive a notification for each order when they are ready. We drove an hour an half to find out only one pair was ready. Also on their website they said they accept my eye insurance but when they ran it. I had to pay out of pocket. They shouldnt advertise if they dont accept.

I made a 1st time appointment on Thursday for the upcoming Saturday, got to pick a time in the evening to accommodate my work schedule, arrived 35 mins early the friendly staff took temp. Walked me straight back to start paperwork,within 5 mins I got eye test and seen an eye dr,virtually, that was kinda weird. But they have an excellent choice of frames and prices all the staff was very pleasant. I ended up at Jasmines desk where she fully explained all prices and choices that I had and made everything make sense. Very pleased ,and will be going back !!

UPDATE: (4-16-21) I decided to call and ask to speak with the manager (Amanda), She was Great!! She set me up an appointment for the next day with her. I went in and within 5 minutes she was able to pull up my warranty (that the previous lady stated was expired) and get my glasses replaced at zero cost to me. She was understanding about my problem. The only reason I wont make this a five star review is because of how incredibly rude and dismissive the first girl was with my problem. I appreciate Amandas professionalism and her attention to taking care of the customer. She is a true asset to Stanton and her attitude and customer service should be a tool of all their employees to aspire to. She is the only reason I am willing to return to Stanton Optical.Purchased glasses last year from here. Cost ended up being over $500. Have had to have the glasses redone once and then had to go in again to have them realigned because they put the no line too low Took the glasses in today because the seam to one of the lenses started to come out and was pretty much told oh well too bad. We can find new frames but you will be responsible for the full cost. This place is a huge rip off. I am pretty sure when I took the glasses in the last time that some how the seam was worked lose since it has been that way since that day, I just thought a thread had gotten caught on the frame. Nope my glasses are falling apart. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. THEY WILL UP SALE YOU EVERY CHANCE THEY GET AND THEN TELL YOU OH WELL YOU HAVE TO BUY A NEW PAIR BECAUSE WE CANT HELP YOU. THEY SELL CHEAP FRAMES AT DOUBLE THE PRICE SINCE THEY FALL APART SO EASILY. So before here I went to eyeglass world about 4 years ago. My fiance came here & I knew couple people so I decided to give it a shot. I dealt with jasmine the sales manager she pointed out numerous options for me. She gave me a really good deal & my fiance cause try last girl he dealed with Tiffany wasnt very nice & didnt give him the promotion 50% . Jasmine is very nice & most importantly she know what she doing!! Thank you so much jasmine Were def coming back!!! Oh she also fixed on my fiance safety glasses a little. I saved alot money here

Staff in the building were great and super helpful. However, I attempted to make a change to my glasses within the 24 hour window of ordering them and was not able to get ahold of a person in the store. The phones will transfer to a call center if the store is busy. Out of the approximately 30 calls one was answered in the store, which was then transferred to the call center. The call center also could not reach the store and left them a message to call me back that which they did not. Seems like they could use a person or two to run the phones so these changes could be made or anyone could talk with a person in the store rather than a call center.

Very efficient operation.I was greeted courteously and that set the tone for the entire visit.My exam was completed quickly, and a very nice young lady helped me choose my frames and accessories. There was never any feeling of being just another customer . I went to Stanton because of their funny commercials, I will continue to use Stanton because of their outstanding customer service.

They convinced me to try contacts for the first time after not wearing them for 13 years, since i started wearing bifocals. so i got multifocal contacts, and they said theres a trial pair so if i didnt like them, return the unopened boxes. I couldnt see clearly out of the contacts, so i tried to return them and they said since i got a discount for contacts and glasses, it would cost me money to return the contacts.What a rip-off. Never go here unless you like paying more than a private office.

Went there to get some glasses and it was terrible. Staff was friendly. When I received my glasses a week after the prescription was way to strong, had to get rechecked the next day. Got my glasses a week later, now 2 weeks and both pair were the same prescription, I was needing two different prescriptions for farsighted and one for near sighted, sent one back to get it fixed and another week later they come in and are still for farsighted. I grew tired of dealing with them so I took them and left. Do not use stanton optical, go anywhere else but here. Would give 0 stars if it was possible.

No one told me when I scheduled my eye exam that it was going to be a teledoc appointment. After waiting 1/2hr for the exam I decided to just do it. Then I called the next day to get my prescription and they said they could neither email it to me or give it me over the phone, that I’d have to come in in person to get it!? Understaffed, time consuming, and lots of corporate run around. The cheap promotions are not worth the hassle.

I went in today for an eye exam and some replacement glasses. Although I was a walk-in customer, they were able to get me in for an exam with little wait time. Amanda was especially helpful. She helped select suitable frames and worked very hard to help me get what I needed within my budget. She was professional, kind and friendly.

The place smells very bad like cigarette smoke, dirty toilets and lots of people at the same time. The care people are kind and patient but everything else makes for a very bad experience.Regarding the measurement service it was good, not excellent.My husband and I called and by phone they told us something that the store did not comply with the promotions they have are not for everyone and for this reason they should indicate it in the calls. We were thinking of paying a maximum of $ 300 for him and me and in the end the costs were over $ 800 and with the lowest and standard options. They should tell you that if you have a measurement greater than -1.70 the lenses cost from $180 and if you want to have antireflection $35 per lens is the most basic. Promotions frames are the ugliest and simplest, plus there isnt as much variety for men. Really disappointed it felt like a scam. I do not recommend it.

This is the first time for me and my family using Stanton Optical. The staff are very friendly, and knowledgeable. There is a tremendous amount of frames to choose from. The exam was performed remotely, (via video chat) It was as thorough as most exams I have had in the past. The only issue I would be concerned about is if I had an issue with my eyes, such as infection or other issues that would require a face to face exam. I dont know for sure if they keep an ophthalmologist in the building for these such cases, as we came in for a routine eyeglass/contact exam. There prices are very competitive, and they have name brand quality frames and contacts on site.

You cant get anyone on the phone. The store can not be reached ever. The 812 area code number is just a 1800. To add to this I have not received my glasses when all I needed was a simple lens replacement. These were glasses that I purchased from them. It has been over 1 month with no contact or follow up. I am fed up with Stanton as this has not been my first issue. I should have switch to another company years ago.

I took my daughter for a glasses exam. Our appointment was at 9:45. As we were waiting, I get an email that they changed my appointment to 10:10, no big deal. We ended up waiting an hour and a half to be seen, with only two people ahead of us. We had already picked out our frames because we had a lot of time to look around. So, when we go to order, we waited another 45 minutes because they only had one employee doing the ordering of glasses and accepting payment. I finally asked if I could have my daughters rx printed and pay so we could leave, because we had been there for a long time, they told me to sit back down and wait. So I waited 39 minutes just to pay someone for the exam and print her rx off for me. Sadly, a couple of months before this, I had went in for an exam for my program at school and waited 3 hours to be seen. I had chalked it up to them being short staffed and figured it wouldn’t be like that again, but it was and the associate that I had asked to help me pay was rude and was just walking around. Not only was I mad, but other customers were furious because they had also been there for hours.

Been here quite a few times. Love the place and staff. Can be a little deceiving tho so make sure to do checks on glasses you want. Another note I found a frame that I really liked and was around 120 dollars. Didnt mind paying for it but now the metal is so cheap that it is breaking apart just a few months later so I call in to see if they can be replaced. They say you only have 30 days so only option is to buy another pair. That is it. Only option, have nice day. Pfft Im a little heated about that. Didnt try to help issue at all or find out what pair I had so it wouldnt happen to someone else.Edit: dont say you will make anything right with me and to call the customer service number that told me tuff luck. Try this. Call Me back or pass off

*EDIT* Because it actually gets WORSE than my last review and they wont let me leave a new one. I went in to discuss my disappointment with the experience provided below, and they managed to talk me into giving them another chance (huge mistake). I ordered a 6 month supply of contacts, and within a month of receiving them, I have used up almost the entire 6 month supply because they have all either broken (literally chunks of them broke off) or have torn (2 of which tore in my eyes and got stuck in my eye socket). I went into the store, told them what was happening, and the store manager told me that policy will not allow her to refund me. She refused to give me a refund or new contacts, only offered another eye exam (no idea how thats supposed to help me?) and so I asked to speak to someone higher up than her who could possibly approve a refund. She said that the regional manager was on vacation and would not speak to me directly even once she returns. She said that she would email her for me but it probably wouldnt change anything. She said the only other thing I could do was call the corporate customer service number. I called, and each time, the line would automatically hang up after being on hold for a minute or two. I had to try ALL the menu options before somebody finally answered. Then, all he would do is contact the SAME store manager who already refused to help me. When I asked to speak to ANYONE higher up than the store manager, he hung up on me. So, Im out $250 and still need new contacts.This is a JOKE of a business and is extremely sketchy in the way that they conduct themselves. Please, please, please, please do not waste your time or money here, I dont want anyone else getting stuck in a similar situation.DO NOT GO HERE. Severely unimpressed with my experience at Stanton. I went in for an eye exam before Christmas with the goal of getting contacts to try out before my wedding in a couple of months. I was told that, due to the holidays, my contact trials would take longer to come in, and so they scheduled an appointment for me to pick them up 2 weeks later. When I arrived for this appointment, the staff was chaotic and unorganized, and my contacts were nowhere to be found. I was told that the manager would call me later about it. When they called, I was told that they had forgotten to even put in my order and so my contacts were not even on their way to being delivered. I had to wait an additional 2 weeks for my trials to finally arrive. When they did, the staff did not have me try them in the store, and when I left, I realized that I was only given 1 pair of daily contacts to try. So, after a month of waiting and wasted time, I was sent away with 1 days worth of contacts and no help or instruction on using them. Not sure what good that does me when trying to decide what brand to order. Will be expressing my disappointment to management, spreading the word about their lack of professionalism, and will not be returning to Stanton for any further needs.

Stanton Optical, is the worst eye place I have ever gone to. First I made an appointment at 11:15am, I get to the appointment at 10:45am to check in, because this was my first time coming to be seen there, and I know there is a lot of paperwork new patients have to fill out. I fill out my paperwork, however I don’t get seen by the eye doctor until 2:30pm. Why tell me that they don’t accept walk ins, if you they are going to treat me like a walk in. Then I finally get to pick out my glasses and order them. They tell me it’s going to take 2 weeks for the glasses to come in, and that they will give me a call. 2 weeks go by no phone phone. I call up there to see about the glasses, and they tell me they are not in, ok that cool. So I continue to wait. 3 and a half weeks go by. I tell myself I’m just going to go up there and see what’s going on. I get here the lady at the front desk makes a big about me not having a mask.... I get it but I know the place will provide a mask to me if I don’t have, so that’s not an issue. I ask the the same lady what is the status on my glasses order she tells me “ oh they are in”. I ask her, because I just what to see something, how long have they been in. She tells me a week ago😳😳. No body bother to call me and when I called they told me they were not in. I am done with this place, they had so much to say to me about not wearing a mask, but couldn’t let me know when my glasses came in. I will not recommend this place they have lost a lifetime customer, because they don’t have great customer service.

Where do I start?When I filled out the questionnaire online for my appointment, I checked both areas to inform Stanton Optical that I would like both contacts and frames. After taking the test for the rx frames, they then informed me that I needed a contact lense exam. So by exam number 2, I had been there a total of 3 hours. I always try to be patient, I know misunderstandings happen. Then paid my $700 for 2 pairs of frames and contacts and left. Never mind the fact that I was completely out of contact lenses and they didn’t have any trials for me to use until my order came in. I have astigmatism with not horribly bad eyesight. So I left with nothing that day but a promise that it would take 2-3 weeks for them to come in. Fast forward 3 weeks, finally got my rx glasses after making 4 trips to pick up contacts and my prescription sunglasses. Also don’t think you should have to wait 30-45 minutes just for someone to hand you your order out of a box. They’re very obviously understaffed and the customer service shows. And what’s with the 12-5pm hours on Friday? How is that convenient to anyone? Waste my whole work lunch break, they don’t have them, then I have to go the following Monday again to pick them up.Shouldn’t have to walk out with out any trial contact lenses.Shouldn’t have to wait 3 hours for an exam.Shouldn’t have to make 4-5 trips to get my whole order.

Terrible. Glasses were unusable, blurry but lady said to give it time. Had them tested at another doctor office and they confirmed the bifocals were too low and were a 2.75 instead of 2.5. Also spent over $500 after asking for $69 deal. Was told that promotion didnt fit my needs. Called the Evansville location and the guy said to bring them in so they could check them....haha, I said if you could do that then why wasnt it done before you handed me the glasses. Then he told me to come in to purchase another pair under a promotion!!! I said absolutely no way I will ever do business with you again.

I wanted lenses that were on website for 14. 50 and the sale stated anylens 19.00 or less. I asked ahead and associate Georgie said yes online lenses qualified as long as they were in stock. I WENT TO pick out kenses and then was told that list if online choices did not count by store manager Amanda. Very unprofessional service. I wasnt asking for price adjustment, just lense online because they only have 10 pair to choose from in house.

I was there for nearly 3 hours. Yes I was a new patient but they were running two hours behind and I wasntinformedby them, I was toldby another customer. People walking in were helped before me when I had been there more than two hours. They are extremely understaffed. They had one person answering phones and taking walk ins. I have been on hold for over twenty minutes with them now. My appointment was 6 weeks ago and I still havent received any information on my glasses. Will not be using them ever again.

This is now the 3rd week I still dont have my glasses. I was told 2 weeks. And dont tell me its because of covid19. The last time I got glasses here (last summer) I was told 10 days & it still took 3 weeks. I only went back because I didnt have a copy of my prescription and they were one of the only places open at the time. But where does it takes 3 weeks to make glasses? We get a lot of glasses in my household and the longest weve everwaited anywhere else was a week to 10 days. I will never be back.

I was very unhappy with everything, from my eye exam to the quality of my glasses I was told my eye exam & glasses would be around $100 well it ended up costing over $375 and the frames were as flimsy as if they were made out of aluminum. The bifocals were actually not even bifocals because when I tried looking through the bifocals I could only see one line (and that was hard to see) in a paragraph. I will never go back there, I most definitely wouldn’t refer anyone to go get glasses from Stanton Optical on Green River Rd Evansville

I wouldn’t recommend anyone going here. My own experience went like this, I called ahead and made an appointment which was over an hour ahead of when I called. So I arrive at my appointment time and enter the store portion. The store associate greeted me as they were with a customer and asked if I was there for an exam and directed me to the doctors office portion. There were three people there ahead of me in a “queue” which makes it pointless if you made an appointment because regardless it’s first come first serve. So I’m there waiting for an hour past my appointment time and this family walks in and asked for an exam to the store associate, the store associate walks them into the doctors office and checks them into the queue. I’m still waiting to be checked in. So after the fact of them getting checked in, and being taken back to be seen. That’s the time that I finally get helped and checked in. I told the lady who was helping me that I want to know how much this visit will cost before I get seen. After a few minutes, they tried to take me back without telling me how much. So I asked again, their reply was a straight $45, didn’t even have to think about it kind of answer. I told them I have insurance and I don’t want glasses or contacts, just an exam. They then told me it’s $25 in that case. So, I quit them and walked out. I was so fed up with their lack of attention and service I’m taking my $25-$45 somewhere else where they actually serve the right way.

I drove 45 minutes to get to my appointment. Someone called saying her staff has to leave on time so I needed to be quick . They take care of new customers just fine. I took my grandson on July 29th. Paid for two pair of glasses that day and was told they would contact me when the glasses came in..just to be safe, they said two weeks. I finally tried to call today and their system would not recognize the phone number I provided. The only way I got a customer service agent on the phone was to pose as a new customer. I was told the glasses had been ready since Aug 5th and that I had been notified. Umm.. no... I had no missed calls or voicemail... and your system didnt even recognize the phone number... So no notification.. I did pick up his glasses today because I was vigilant and took action. I will reserve judgement on their product until he has worn them a while. Im giving them two stars for the service when he had his exam. They did a good job.EDIT!!!They wont allow a second post and I cant get anyone to answer a phone.Your reply to my post is truly funny. You gave me a phone number to call stating you were going to make my experience better. I end up right back with the original problem! You will not answer the customer service line!If a person wants to make an appointment or order something, you answer the phone right away, but if I choose the customer service option I am on hold and no answer...ever! I again posed as a new customer, got an agent on the phone, explained my problem and he transferred me to the perpetually on hold line. Worst customer service ever! I called in to inquire about the televised offer on tv and was told that walk ins were accepted with no appointment needed. However, when I arrived the staff was very rude and inconsiderate telling me walk ins for not welcome. That is false advertisement and a very rude staff on top of that. Takes way too long to get any kind of service here. After waiting for 30 minutes and seeing both the service people just sitting and chit chatting with customers, I asked the lady (Brianna) how much longer it would take to buy the glasses and she gave a bunch of attitude saying she had no idea how long it will take and they’d get to me when they could. Making customers wait is one thing, but the rudeness is unacceptable. Also it’s very unorganized. If a bunch of people come in they have no way to capture the sequence of people coming in. If you want quick courteous customer service I’d recommend a different place. they have a good selection but most of the options are really similar

I had a great experience at Stanton Optical! Amy was so much help, during my time with them! She answered every question I had about the deals they were running at that time. She even took an extensive amount of time helping me decide which frames looked best out of the 15 I had picked out! She was very knowledgeable. I signed up for frame club, which is an awesome deal, which she explained in detail!I will definitely be back I appreciate Amy, and the time she took with me. She is someone that cares about her job, and customers!

I made a recent trip to Stanton because of their 2 for $59 deal. Upon asking about the deal I was told that the eye exam would cost $45 and that would be credited toward and eyeglass purchase. And then I was told that there were only about a handful of eyeglasses available for that deal, I looked at them and they were all huge plastic and ugly. The young man who originally took care of me didnt know what he was doing. He was clueless. I was left on my own with no answers to search for glasses. Everybody seem to disappear the moment I was searching for something and needed to ask questions. The only person that was even slightly helpful was the woman who did my eye exam. I felt as if I was a number instead of a person. Like all they cared about was making a sale. I dont have vision insurance and was not helped very well with that. I will not be back and do not suggest anybody go here.

The staff were all incredibly nice and helpful. Tristan was invaluable to me today! Tristan helped me from the moment that I walked in the door. She was incredibly welcoming and very knowledgeable. She was able to answer all of my questions and give me recommendations on all products that I asked about. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming. I would recommend this store to ANYONE that needs an eye exam or glasses or contacts. Also, the prices are very reasonable. Glasses dont cost an arm and a leg like they do at many other stores. Plus, I was able to get both pairs of glasses with anti-glare on them within 15 minutes.

Took my mother there for new lenses in her current frames. Got there early and they checked us in. The eye doctor came out and my mother was very satisfied. She thought the eye doctor was exceptional. They told us to have a seat and someone would come get us. Over an hour later we were still waiting. They were very short handed after the manager very rudely, in front of customers, proceeded to yell at an employee and told her to go home. I took her to Eye Mart the year before and she got new frames on top of what she got from Stanton. Eye mart cost me $270. Stanton cost $348. Eye Mart we received them that day. Stanton took almost 2 weeks. My mother called to see if they were in and they told her yes. She drives the 45 minutes and they tell her to have a seat. Takes almost a half hour waiting before they tried to tell her they didn’t have them in yet. Thy finally found them after she told them she called and they said they were there. We had HORRIBLE SERVICE! Most of the workers were very rude. Terribly overpriced. We will never be back and definitely tell anyone looking for a place for glasses to find someplace else. If I could give zero stars I would!

I loved this place! Lots of choices! Loren was amazing, she helped me find exactly what I was looking for while staying within my budget. She was patient, and didnt mind that I was picky. I took my daughter in to get new glasses. We didnt make an appointment before we went. They got her in quickly for her exam and were very helpful in deciding on how to package them to get the best deal. My daughter is very rough on her glasses, so being able to get the 4 frames in 2 years for $29 will be a lifesaver. I would highly recommend.

Last week I called Stanton Optical to reorder my contacts. While on the phone I stressed to the lady the color I wanted. I get a call that my contacts were in so I stopped in on Friday to pick them up. The girl assisting me said that I had the blue contacts. I told her that I was supposed to have brilliant blue. She checks the package which says blue & the order form that had both blue & brilliant blue on it. She tells me she thinks they are the right ones, but I can put one in to make sure. I tell her I can look at the contact & tell if its the right color so she says to go ahead & look. I open the box & they are the wrong color. She calls another gal over who says sorry you opened the box we cant take them back I explain to her that the other girl told me to check them. First gal denies telling me to put one in & goes to manager, comes back & says sorry you opened the box youll either have to take these or well return the other box & get the correct color for that 1 box. I explain my eyes are different strengths & I want what I ordered. She brings manager over. Nope, sorry youll have to take these or well get 1 box of correct color. Im not taking the wrong contacts & Im not having 2 different color contacts in. Call corporate customer service. We dont give refunds & you opened the box. Ill see what I can do. I explain at this point I want my prescription, a refund as they lied about price matching, & Ill never be back. Lady on phone says shell request refund but dont expect & theyll send my prescription after they resolve the current issue. They wont price match as stated: $303 at Stanton vs $166 at 1800contacts. Update: Received a call from Corp Customer Service from Patty who was extremely nice and helpful. I am receiving a refund and a copy of my prescription. They did offer to match the lower price but quite frankly, I would rather gouge my eyes out than have to go back in that store and deal with the rudeness.

When I did a lady name TAYLOR MIT came up to me n waited on me n I was very pleased with her helping me. She was Amazing ! I went for the 2 pair of no-line bifocals for $99 deal. They only had about 10 frames that were with that offer. I told the frame specialist Darrin that those were all too big and I wouldnt want those. He spoke to the manager, John, and he told me that he didnt want me to leave without glasses, so he offered that I could find any frames that were marked $99 and he would honor the 2 for $99 deal. If the frames were more than the $99, I would just pay the difference. Darrin showed me 2 large selections of all $99 frames and I was able to quickly find 2 that I liked. Because the deal was now one from the store level rather than corporate, I was able to get them in 3 hours rather than 3 weeks. Great service and I like my new glasses!

The Doctor was really cool , the staff was very helpful . The cost was way more then I was hoping, didn’t get second pair . I have united healthcare/Medicare insurance that covers 40% on first pair and 60% on second. The cost ended up being $10 difference. It’s been two weeks and I still don’t have my glasses. Had to pass on second pair because of cost.

First off let me give a BIG shout out to Jeremy, my salesperson (Store Manager). He was wonderful. I appreciated that he gave me his honest opinion on the frames I was picking out and offered suggestions that he thought may compliment me. The 2 pair I ended up leaving with were 2 that he suggested. From the moment I walked in the door the staff greeted me with a smile and made me feel welcome. The facility was clean and glasses were neatly displayed. Jeremy explained all the products and was very knowledgable. My glasses were done in less than an hour and I just couldnt beat the price I paid for 2 pair! It was a smooth process and I will be shopping there again! I highly recommend Stanton Optical.

My experience with Stantons Evansville, Indiana, East Side store was great. Eye Marts price was much higher, a 4 hour wait for an exam, and they were too busy to care. At Stantons the exam was immediate and everyone was extremely helpful. I used my frames and just got replacement lens and they did a wonderful job. I would definitely recommend their services!

This place is really a great place to get your eyes examined and your new glasses! From the moment we got there, we were treated with courtesy and respect! They truly make you feel like you are one of a kind. We had a little issue with getting our glasses due to a machine not working properly. The manager Jody went out on her way to make it right and make us happy! She didnt have to..she went way above and beyond and we are thankful for that. Then while I was waiting I posted this about Amy: So with all this hatred going on the world, I am sitting here at Stanton Optical and witnessed the most unselfish act of kindness. There is an older gentleman in here that lost his wife. He was being waited on by one of the specialists and noticed her necklace. He mentioned that his daughter would love that because it would remind her of her mother. He asked her where he could get one. Without hesitation she took off that necklace and gave it to him to give to his daughter. This made my heart smile. God is so good!! We need to see more of this in the world! I will not be going anywhere else for my eye exams and glasses again! Thank you ladies!!

Literally worst experience I have ever had and I wouldn’t recommend it to no one! False advertising my price was almost $300 and I didn’t get a free pair that was just for one frame. The retail lady I spoke to on prices wasn’t very helpful or knowledgeable and could tell she was new and not experienced at all on prices. The chick got distracted by a child crying in mid conversation of pricing, not professional at all. If you call corporate or even try to call the business you get foreigners who don’t even work in the location at all, not to mention it was almost 2 weeks for pick up and I never received a call letting me know they were done. I wanted a refund for dissatisfaction and to go else where and they don’t do any refunds unless the glasses are damaged. The only positive thing I can say about this place is that the eye exam doctor was great, that is it! For the price I paid I could have went to Walmart and got glasses and contacts both and the customer service would have been way better! Walmart even does refunds if dissatisfied!!!!! Will never go back to this place, a complete scam and waste of time. Save money and go to Walmart if you don’t have insurance!!!!! Don’t recommend AT ALL!!

As of right now I am leaving 3 stars but it could change, I havent picked up the glasses yet. I decided to try them instead of the regular place I go to for a change & so far my experience is so so. They advertise free eye exams with bogo for $59, sounds great BUT they literally only had like 4 cheapy frames to choose from for this deal. The employees were all friendly enough I guess, & the optometrist was super friendly & seemed very knowledgeable. But they dont have a lot of options, the place is dark and dreary and they obviously dont make their lenses there because its been 3 weeks since Ive been there. They said it could take 2 weeks or sooner. I called after 2 weeks & they said theyd be a few more days. I just found out today that they are done but the only reason is because I called them, they did not call me like they said. So it wasnt a horrible experience but I get better/faster service from my regular eyeglass place.

Not the best experience, first time when i went I purchased 2 sets of glasses and had only picked up one because something with the frame so when it came time to pick up glasses they had already disposed of them not even bothering to call me and tell me they were in. Gave them another try with contacts and that has been a mess and not even going into to much detail but in short. I had a issue with my contact exam was told I could come back during that time it was never mentioned exams were valid for a short period of time. I had a few illnesses and was hospitalized they pretty much were very dishonest when I finally got there for a follow up appointment and not honoring what they told me and was going to make me pay the exam again after repeatedly being told I didn’t have to. My first trial set wasn’t even accurate etc just too much to say about it. Im very dissatisfied with the service received and they didn’t even offer to make it right.
