I was in a car accident recently and broke both my ankles. Unfortunately I lost my glasses in the wreck and without them Im blind as a bat. When I called Eyeglass World, my prescription was expired and I had no way to physically come in to renew it. They called me back the next day and told me the eye doctor had heard about my accident and would be willing to write me a prescription for new glasses and that they would cover them FREE OF COST. I was SO GRATEFUL. Service has always been great with them but this time they went above and beyond.

The best place to get glasses from! Great customer service. I was greeted as soon as I entered their store and the man even held the door open for me. Miranda was so helpful and sweet. If I could give this place 100+ stars I definitely would. Thank you guys so much!

I took my 10 year old and hubby for eye exam/glasses and was impressed and thankful to every employee on their team. My sons sight is extremely bad. Wearing glasses since he was 5, so an optometrist that takes extra care to get his Rx perfect is a necessity. The Doc was so caring, he listened and communicated with my son so well leading to a perfected Rx and one extremely happy kiddo. He also nailed the hubbys Rx and had him seeing clearer than he has in years.Everyone from the first gentleman who greated us, to the behind the scenes technician who stayed late to assure same day service left me assured I will never go anywhere else for my familys vision needs. When picking out glasses on a budget many times there are extra charges or something insurance doesnt cover etc...NOT with eyeglass world, all charges were discussed no pressure sales, and free polycarbonate lenses for children up to 13....there is no better deal out there. The budget perfect price was great but the best part is the people who worked there! They were extremely busy, phones ringing off the hook, customers walking in at a steady pace, answering questions from multiple people at once and the smiles and helpful attitude of all team members showed a willingness and passion to make every customer have a great experience.So if you are looking to take care of the vision needs of your family or just yourself, a trip to Eyeglass World will rock your world.

They were able to see me without an appointment on a busy Sunday afternoon. Dr. Clark was great and incredibly efficient. Only about 15 minutes from walk-in to leaving with my prescription. Would highly recommend Dr. Clark and the Eyeglass World staff. Great experience.

Way better than Stanton Optical they actually get your prescription right and glasses are usually same day pick up depending the style of glasses highly recommend!

I love the Eyeglass World on N Green River Road in Evansville, IN. My husband and I have been going there for years and weve never had a bad experience. Yesterday was no different, the same quality service and eye exam as always. Dr Thomas Clark is always thorough, he strives to make sure his patients get the prescription they need and hes really nice. I found the eyeglasses I wanted in about 5 minutes because I searched EyeglassWorld.com to see what I liked before I went in for my appointment. They have a huge selection to choose from; I always get the $78 frames and they are always nice and hold up to the wear and tear they go through. I really liked Page, the sales associate I had, she was really friendly and even though I couldnt see her smile, I know she was the whole time. Shes perfect for this kind of work, she kept her cool even when a difficult customer came in and did everything in her power to make that customer happy. I hope Page waits on me every time I come in there. My husbands sales associate was Abby and she was pretty awesome too! She didnt get impatient even though it was close to closing time. She had a great personality and got my husband taken care of quickly. There was a short wait when I came into the store because they take your temp and fill out a paper for the Drs receptionist and all associates were busy with other people, but I was early, so no big deal. We like this store and have never gotten anything but the best service and have always been treated with respect!

Ive been coming here for the past three or four years and I love them. Dr. Clark is so kind and caring. Ive never dealt with anyone here who wasnt wonderful. They found my frames for me that were discontinued that I didnt think I could find again! Just awesome service and I will always come back here.

Expensive and insurance was good, cheaper without it. Call first and make sure Your Insurance is on their computer, takes them awhile to update.

I had been going back and forth for months over a contact subscription that went wrong, finally got it settled and went in to the store and Randy took care of me. Worked with me to find a solution that was immediate and financially doable just out of kindness. We need more people like Randy in the customer service world!!!

Covid Restricted. Social distancing. Mask. Just like the rest of the world. Im used to going to Americas Best where the Dr. Exam and glasses are all inclusive. Not so here. It caught me off guard to have to pay extra for the eye exam. That I wasnt expecting. Also, I noticed that the glasses frames ($78) seem to be so much more flimsy, cheap looking and feeling than Americas Best. There is not one of those in Evansville but Id rather drive an hour to get their deal than go back to Eyeglass World.

Page was so awesome! Friendly and extremely helpful. Then, when I picked up my glasses, one pair just wasnt right. I couldnt see clearly out of it. It was no ones fault, just how my eyes were not centered in the lenses. They are remaking them.

Abby was the one helping with picking out my frames and options. She was phenomenal at the knowledge she has of all our questions. I recommend her for a raise. We were there after the place closed and they didn’t try and run us out. The optometrist was very thorough also. Definitely recommend.

Great customer service

I arrived 15 minutes before my appointment time as instructed. I went through the temperature at check in and then went to the waiting area where I had to stand due to others not coming in alone. The eye doctor was behind schedule so I waited for an hour past my scheduled time before getting in to see the eye doctor. One patient who was scheduled after me was slid in before me because they were a follow up. While I was waiting I went and picked out my frames to save time for after my appointment. The staff including the eye doctor were polite and very professional.

The Dr that did my exam was awesome and very informative, I cant remember her name but I loved her. And Ashley, the woman who helped me with my new glasses was awesome as well, she actually picked my frames for me after I tried on about 20 different ones and couldnt decide, the first frames she grabbed were the ones, and she assured me they did look great on me and now that I have them I agree, Im not used to bigger frames but Im glad I went with these. She also shared in my excitement about them. I definitely recommend going here for all your eye care needs and products.

My sons glasses broke in the middle of the COVID event. We were able to use his back-up pair, but they are not as helpful since he relies on Transition lenses to assist with his sensitivity to light. Even though they are closed to the public currently, they were able to order a replacement pair since the old pair was still under warranty. A week later, Abby called to let me know they were in and offered to mail them to me. Since my son has a difficult fit, I asked if they could possibly fit them. She said that if we pulled up outside of the store and called, she could meet us outside and get the current pair that do fit him to use as a model for how to reshape his new frames. She did meet us promptly when we arrived, was very conscientious to use appropriate social distancing and excellent disinfecting techniques, and was very kind. We are very please to have the best frames and lenses for my son back again!

After looking all over town, I found the frames I was looking for at Eyeglass World. I had never been in the store, part of the reason is the difficulty getting to the store.

Visited this store after I felt Stanton Optical tried to rip me off and was very pleased. They recommended what was needed for my situation and didnt try to get me to buy unnecessary upgrades. I feel like they are a very honest company and will come again.

Jesus and Dave were FANTASTIC with taking care of my Olivia and also helping us get the most bang for our buck.We were ready to pay for it all with cash and Jesus KNEW my daughter’s glasses came from a sister company in Georgia. He pulled her file and saved us from having to pay for it outright. He had her file pulled and transferred and got the prescription sent. We wouldn’t have even known the company she went to in Georgia was a sister company had he not told us. He helped my daughter find and be happy with frames that were on sale and also helped her stick with some she loved. Jesus worked us in completely last minute when another eye doctor canceled on us last minute and we had already driven an hour out of town. He found a way to make the entire experience completely enjoyable. I didn’t want much money spent and they found a way to make that happen. He talked to my ex and took payment over the phone while splitting the total and made it all work like it was nothing out of the ordinary, putting us at ease.Dave was awesome and very friendly. We laughed at both guys and had a smile on our faces the entire time. The optometrist was extremely thorough and friendly.I NEVER leave a review unless I had a bad experience. This is my first good review because we had such a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend and will absolutely be going back!

Ive been going to eyeglass world for 10 years and never ever had a problem with it until recently recently when I went in my classes that had bought over year ago had a scratch and they were protected with scratch proof protection the sales person told me I have to pin another $180 for new lenses Ive recommended nobody to go to this place again its just a total scam

Originally I highly recommend on my initial visit.....Randy and Lachele were awesome.Lachele absolutely helped me find the perfect frames.Randy was absolutely a godsend helping me resolve a situation involving where I had gotten my prescription from. He literally spent over an hour with me getting this resolved.UPDATE—-it took nearly three weeks for me to receive my glasses. I was told a week. I called and was told my lens were shipped and they would call when they received. They didn’t call. I called again and they told me they had to reorder. Once again I had to keep calling to ask as know one would call me.

Amazing people who know what they’re doing. There are so many different styles and brands of glasses to choose from!!! Highly recommend.

The customer service here is truly awesome! Dave and Donald are the best. They greet you, very knowledgeable - which is a plus when you have tons of questions, seem to care and make sure you’re comfortable, will give you updates (if you’re waiting) and they’re so friendly! I have been a customer for 5 years and today I brought my son (who is 6) for the first time and Dr. Williamson was great and so patient with him! I’m very satisfied with this place. And my son loves his frames! I live about 2 hours away, but the drive is worth it for the awesome service and prices.

Visit was good in the beginning. The optometrist was excellent and very thorough. They got me in and out of the exam quickly. HOWEVER, they never thought to tell me, when scheduling the exam, that there were two separate charges: one for the exam and one for the glasses. I had taken one check with me and had no way of purchasing the glasses that I took 45 minutes picking out. I obviously cant see well, hence the visit, and would never have driven 20 miles to the store had I known I was going to be leaving without glasses and driving at night! The lady didnt care at all and just said sorry bout it. Its a law- whatever that law may be. She walked away and went to another room leaving me wondering what the hell was going on and if I was free to leave. I will NEVER be returning to this place. Someone else can give them the $300 I was fixing to pay them for their cheaply made glasses! PEACE!

It is not perfect, but it is close. I live quite a while away from here, so I only sometimes go. The rest of the time I go to Walmart (so this may not be as nice to other people, but people in my situation will love this place) and Eyeglass World is awesome. They have nice friendly staff who can fit you in an appointment the same day. The eye doctor I had was accurate and efficient. And last of all, they had a huge selection. They had around 20 shelves of options.

I’m only rating 2 stars because I was informed that my glasses/contacts would be in within 7-10 days. Well that time frame has ended and every time I call and ask I’m either told tomorrow or not yet.

This place did exactly what I wanted and I did what was asked of them, an excellent mutual exchange of service. The exam was very quick. I was surprised that they found out my prescription from not having an exam for over 5 years. The clerk who helped me out too knew what kind of lenses I had and recommended me to keep the same ones.It was an overall good experience, especially since they thanked me many times for coming in early. I scheduled my appointment ahead of time and just after I came in, there were 2 people that spontaneously showed up and that they were semi-frustrated with.

David the Assistant Store Manager was AMAZING!!! He went wayyyyy above and beyond to help me out with fixing my glasses that I did not have a warranty on. So grateful for his help!!!!!

All of the staff was great for my first time there, but once my frames went out on my glasses I went into figure something out and this lady that worked their wasnt very helpful at all. She seemed that she wanted me out if the store as quick as possible.I was about to get new frames but I felt rushed and I tried asking for opinions but none were giving. I work at the friendliest theme park in the world (Holiday World and Splashin Safari) and if I ever was that rude I would be fired faster then you could say eyeglass world.

I bought a pair of glasses from your company less than a year ago. I like the glasses, with one issue...they never stay clean. I have bought several pair of glasses from Zenni and dont seem to have this issue. The biggest issue is after you clean them. They never seem to clean well and seem very fragile and scratch easily. The ones from Zenni dont have that issue. I have had the lenses replaced twice and was using the pray you sell and a microfiber cloth. The Zenni glasses are less than half price and seem to hold up better.Also, When I paid for my glasses, they told me the cost and what insurance was paying and I paid that. Many months later I get a bill in the mail stating I owe another $23.00. They contacted me after this review and have made everything right, including the $23.00Thanks!

Bought 2 pairs of glasses and eye exam over 500.00 biggest pieces of junk I ever owned. Broke a temple. They cant replace it!. But willing to sell me a new pair of frames for 179.99. Lol what a joke. If i could give this place a negative I would.dont waste your money here!

I went in to get a pair of prescription eyeglasses for the upcoming summer. I was greeted by Adam Schmitt, the General Manager. I explained what I was looking for and that I had brought in my prescription. He explained where the sunglasses were located, and told me if I didnt find something I liked, they could take a pair of regular glasses (depending on the style) and put sun glass lens in them. He stayed with me, helped me try on different pairs and when asked, gave his opinion of what looked good on my face shape. He was very informative as to what I should pay extra for and what really wasnt necessary for my glasses. I was very pleased with the experience and ended up picking out two pair. Adam was very soft spoken and generally interested in taking care of the client.I was told that they would be done in 7-10 days. I was notified when they were ready and went back in to pick them up. Again, I was greeted by Adam Schmitt, the General Manager. I tried on the sunglasses but the fit wasnt quite right. He immediately took them and fixed them to where they fit perfectly. I was extremely pleased with the entire process and love my new sunglasses. My husband was impressed that I was not pressured into buying something I didnt like or need. The entire staff, even though they were helping others, seemed to be happy in their job. That is hard to find nowadays. I would highly recommend Eyeglass World for anyone looking for a pleasant shopping experience. If you decide to go, please look Adam up. You will not regret it.

I lost a contact and had to have an exam anyway so I went in. The doctor was in the waiting room watching football and they told Id have to come back tomorrow. Which would have been ok had they not been rude about it. I went across Morgan to Stanton. (I admit after being rude to me I was rude back. I shouldnt have but I was pressed for time and couldnt see at all.)

Like most people, I scoured the internet for reviews of each store (Eyeglass World, Stanton Optical, Eyemart, etc) hoping to find the best quality without having to pay a fortune. What I discovered is that no matter where you go and which has the best deal, whether it be 2 for $69, Buy One Get One Free, etc, you are going to pay a lot anyway, thats just how these companies are set up. I decided on Eyeglass World and am actually glad I did. The Optometrist was knowledgeable and thorough and the service was quick and friendly. I was assisted by Robert, who besides the very monotone voice, was very helpful and patient with me. I would definitely recommend Robert and Eyeglass World, but keep in mind going in that you have to pay for your eye exam separate from your glasses and will most likely end up paying around $200 instead of $78. Good luck!

What a shame, The worst costumer service ever I was there couple days ago for a warranty and they was rude, definitely after Jesus left is no the same. I’ll never come back.
