My mom is visiting from out of town and had a dental emergency. She has poor dental health in general but the team here was so helpful and she never felt judged.David at the front was professional and informative, he squeezed her in and was patient with us and really went above and beyond to help us.Dr Coleman and his hygienist were also very good!Highly recommend this team. Dr. Coleman is great and so is the new teeth cleaner! The administrative, scheduling and responsiveness however has been extremely poor. Wrong e-mails, didnt return calls, didnt send invoice, and the latest was amazingly inept- I simply called to see if I could change my appointment and after talking to her she said she would call around to see if we could get earlier date an alternatve location. She never called me back, so I called her and she said oh I thought I was to call you back after your old appointment date?????. Yet she had already cancelled the old date. Wow

I liked my very first visit! Everything is updated and new and paperless. I loved Kaila she was so very nice! Hanna my X-ray tech was very nice as well. Dr Coleman was very knowledgeable, friendly, gentle and explained everything. My only critique is I felt like they were very selly trying to upswell products. But after kindly saying no they didn’t push further. Glad I found these guys and excited for my next visit in 6 months!

I had a wonderful experience at Erie Modern Dentistry. They are true to their name with the newest dental technology. Everyone one in the office was amazing especially the dentist Dr Bruce Howell. He was warm and friendly and genuine. I appreciated his maturity and trusted his experience. I highly recommend them.

Really happy with this locations work!Dr Coleman and his staff are very kind and gentle, and this is the first dentist Ive felt comfortable having work done. With that being said, I had x-rays, and one crown done and it cost me my entire yearly cap with Tricare United Concordia (1500$) plus an extra 760$ on top of that. Ive been quoted from other locations and they werent near as expensive, so Im not sure why they charge so much here for the same thing, in the same city, even knowing each practice charges differently. Now that I cant afford to get my other teeth fixed more than one tooth per year, it will take me 15 years to get all my teeth fixed.

I asked them why is this deep cleaning session five hundred dollars more than my last cleaning. They said I quote, Each dental office bills differently, neglecting to mention the non-essential practices that insurance does not cover and bacteria-testing tube that is unnecessary.

Everyone from the front office to the end of my appointment made me feel so welcome there.The office was so clean and so professional.This was one of the best experiences Ive ever had going to a dentist.I recommend this office to everyone who wants a great dental experience!Thank you all so much

We are loving this office. Our son needed urgent attention and they could see him within 45 mins. They took their time reviewing xrays and the procedure. They also were very clear with the cost breakdown. Dr. Copeland was amazing with our kiddo!

Nice dentist never too crowded always easy to talk with staff and does a good job with everything they have done to my mouth: pulled wisdom teeth, filled a cavity and cleaned a couple times, I will continue going to this dentist

Updated 2/1/2021 - Be warned. Erie Modern Dentistry is now owned by Smile Generation, which in my opinion tries to sell products and services that are unnecessary. They went from my 5 star review to a 1 star review because I was told I needed to have work done that my new dentist told me today did not need to be done.Updated 5/10/2019 - EMD managed to get me in to see Dr. Engler the same day. Terrific service.4/14/2019 - The people here are incredible. Simply the best. They took care of me in one day. Needed a crown and a filling. It came out to be $50 less than my regular dentist. I am proud to say Erie Modern Dentistry is now my official dentist.

Deceptive pricing....they did not explain every charge clearly and would add extra stuff that insurance does not cover. I was overcharged, they listed that a deep cleaning would cost 2500 dollars without insurance...what? DO NOT GO HERE.

Beware of receiving your dental care here. My husband and I both went for checkups last fall, and my husband subsequently scheduled a wisdom tooth extraction for the day after his exam, feeling pressured by the staff to do so.The wisdom tooth extraction could not have gone worse. He was in excruciating pain immediately out of the surgery—before we could even get his prescription filled for pain meds. He struggled with pain management throughout the entire recovery process, but worse of all, our many attempts to receive follow-up care from the staff at Erie Modern failed. They had dismissed their staff for the Thanksgiving holiday and provided no way for their patients to get in touch with anyone that could help. The reason my husband required follow-up care was not only because of the pain he was in even a week after surgery but also because we observed a buildup of scarred gum tissue forming around the extraction sites and over his other molars .We were somehow able to contact the oral surgeon directly; he requested we see him at the location in Greeley, and so we did. After driving 45 minutes to this appointment, we were informed that the oral surgeon was not in the office on the day he had scheduled us to see him. So, my husband was seen by a random dentist we had never met at this office, and this guy cut the scarred tissue (and of course, we received a bill in the mail following this procedure).Why am I writing this review almost nine months after our first checkups at Erie Modern Dentistry? Well, I recently went for a regular checkup with the dentist I had been going to before we moved to Erie. He took my x-rays and noted there were no problems. This was contrary to the opinion of the dentist at Erie Modern Dentistry after she looked at my x-rays. She recommended I schedule a procedure to have my silver filling in one of my molas removed because apparently there was a cavity underneath it. She said I would require a crown to secure the tooth after the filling was removed and the supposed cavity underneath it was filled. The dentist I saw most recently said that was ludicrous and saw no issue with the tooth. Not even a cavity.The folks at Erie Modern Dentistry were all very nice. I’d like to say they were just incompetent, but I can’t help but think that maybe they were unethical, too.

Friendly staff, laughed at my jokes and left with clean teeth. Good experience! I left with scheduling another appointment. Thats a good sign in my book.

Wow. I am super impressed with EMD! We have been looking for a dentist for several years and always seem to be upsold on something and disappointed. The staff here (from office manager to hygenist to doc) are AMAZING. They are professional, courteous and most importantly take TIME with you, time to do a quality analysis or treatment as well as caring enough to give accurate and detailed explanations on everything from costs to issues they notice, to the biology behind cavities. They shared cutting edge info on how dental issues, inflmamation, and gingivitis are precursors to cardiovascular disease among others. If you are a health conscious person who cares about their dental and overall health.....this is a place for you.
