Great experience here! Doctor Elliott and his PA, Stephanie, fit me into their busy schedule very quickly and I am grateful. He is a surgeon, but he recommended no surgery for me. I love it when people do not have an attitude of Im a hammer, so everything is a nail. He was kind, thorough, and unhurried and took more time with me than I would ever expect. I am an orthodontist and know the stresses of seeing patients, especially on short notice. I feel lucky I was able to see them today. Stephanie, BTW, called me at 8PM to schedule me (appointment just 36 hours later) after my primary care physician spoke with Dr. Elliott.

I found Dr. Elliot to be calm, empathic, confident, and skilled. Surgery was scheduled the day after meeting Dr. Elliot, orders were marked urgent as we had only 12 days to prepare. The office staff was very responsive, professional, effective and kind. My outcome, btw, was perfectly remarkable . I remain in awe and with boundless gratitude.

Dr. Elliott is a great surgeon. I’m not shaming him as a professional or his assistants at all. I do absolutely have to say this though. HIS FRONT DESK/PHONE STAFF IS HORRIBLE. I had back surgery in December of 2017. I’m having issues with pain, numbness and weakness in my left leg/foot as of just a few weeks ago and had an MRI 8/24 so we can get this addressed. (I need to preface this with the fact that it was like pulling teeth to get an appointment with the PA to get the MRI ordered in the first place. Once I got there, my payment was due upfront which I was aware of, so I gave the woman my card. She said “oh, cash or check only our cc machine is down and if you don’t pay today it’s going to be $50 more.” Um, NO. Still waiting on their bill....) Waited on a call back from his office when the disc was received, even to schedule with the PA for all I care....no phone call. No email. I called multiple times only to be on hold, one time for 30 minutes and then the call disconnected. The phone was not answered and voicemails were never returned. Zero calls back. Finally was able to reach them this morning, and was told I have an appointment in October...I NEVER WOULD HAVE KNOWN I EVEN HAD AN APPOINTMENT!!!!! I asked for anything earlier, as I cannot feel my foot (yes, I understand that the PAs and surgeons ARE extremely busy) and she simply told me to go to the emergency room then. Excuse me, I need my MRI read, not the emergency room. I am still floored by the unpleasantness and unprofessionalism displayed by this office, and am seeking other treatment possibilities. I’d advise you to steer clear of this place.

Dr. Elliot is the best I have had five spinal surgeries and he had to go in and fix someone elses mess ups and I will never see anyone else. He even come to the hospital on thanksgiving morning to check on his patients for the day before, in all the 17 years of working in the medical field I never met anyone how cares more!!! And the staff they are amazing all so. Thanks for being my doctor!!!

My experience was exceptional. I was scheduled last minute due to cancellations, which I think every doctors office I have ever been to tells me they’ll call if there’s any cancellation and they never do. Unfortunately, they were running a bit behind but the kind front desk woman assured me that they would still take their time with me WHICH she was completely right. I was taken back about 25 minutes after my scheduled time by Emily who apologized about the delay and took my blood pressure. She again assured me that I’d still receive proper care despite the delay. Dr. Elliott’s assistant Nichole then came in and asked me some questions regarding my pain. Dr. Elliott came in and genuinely listened to my concerns! Thanks to him and his holistic approach to my care I’m feeling 30 years younger! Thank you Spine Institue for your care and despite the wait the staff makes you feel like they care and that your time is as important as theirs.

Dr. Elliott is a skilled surgeon who genuinely cares about his patients and their outcomes. It is obvious that he dedicated his life to the complicated area of medicine, neurosurgery, because he wants to help reduce and even eliminate the pain and suffering of his patients. I also noticed he treats his staff well. That says something.

I have never had good experiences with this office. From pre-op care to post-op care (NOTHING) and, even now, four years later, I am still fighting with them and in CONSTANT pain. It has taken over 3 weeks to get a copy of my medical records from these people. The level of unprofessional attitudes displayed by this office never ceases to amaze me!!!!!! If I could give them a negative star rating, rest assured I would.

In 2016 I was terrified to have another spine surgery, and my neck. I needed 2 thru 6, Laminectomy and 3, 4, 5 fusion. My lumbar laminectomy and fusion was so awful and a was done by a orthopedic surgeon. My pain doctor suggested Dr Elliott and after talking with him and my major concern was paralysis from neck down. Going thru my neck in front. I was so amazed. Within a week I was home, pain free, and feeling great. 2 yrs later, still doing great. Thank you for your expertise and care.Stephanie

Dr. Elliot may be a well recognized surgeon but his after care, follow up, and responsiveness are unacceptable and unprofressional. I would not recommend him or his team for any surgery. I am disgusted with the level of treatment he has provided.
