Clean, efficient, and very throughout. Was instructed to call outside to make sure they were ready. After a few minutes was called to come in. Hygienist was throughout and competent. Pointed out things I was doing wrong and enforced proper power brushing technique to avoid gum loss. I really like them!

I was greeted warmly upon arrival and I was attended to within 10 minutes of reaching the office. My dental hygienist was very pleasant and carefully explained each action before moving forward. Dr. Zhou was also very nice and knowledgeable regarding my oral health. I definitely plan on returning for future dental visits 😊

This dentist and his staff have won me over. From the scheduling, to friendly reminders of appointments, to email access to insurance information, to outstanding service from the hygienist and dentist. For example, I arrived at the appointed time, and was in a chair within 2 minutes. Everything was very smooth. I saw kids coming in the door, and they were happily awaiting their appointments. Amazing.

I am a guy that is afraid of white room, lab coat, sharp needles, and Dentist. I had several bad experiences with dentist. In the past, the dentist all ticket me saying “ Do not be afraid, we will take care of you.” In the end, it is all a lied. Afterward, I waited several years to see a dentist. Yesterday, I had the must outstanding experience I ever had. Everyone is so nice and they genuinely care for my teeth. The staff in the front desk were very professional. I waited until after a major procedure to post a review, and I have to say that I have never had a better dentist or dental/medical experience. Not only did Dr. Zhou provide incredibly informative, compassionate, and attentive care - everything from consultation to mid-procedure - but the support staff are just as knowledgeable and attentive and work hard to make the experience as stress and pain-free as possible. I have had absolutely terrible dental care experiences prior to my enrollment with Peartree, and although Dr. Zhou’s practice is nowhere near my home I am always glad to take the afternoon off and go to a practice which takes my concerns seriously and provides me with the most painless and meticulous dental care I’ve ever had. I only hope that his practice remains open for as long as I need dental cleanings and treatments because I don’t think I could find a better practice than Peartree Dental Care.

I got an implant here! I sensed that the implant was getting loose so I visited Dr Zhao. He told me to return once the implant falls off so that he can work on a more serious implant. I took him at his word and kept on with my life.Several months go by. When I was dropping my mother off at her dentist (not Dr. Zhao) I showed the dentist the loose implant. He asked me to sit down and just screwed the implant in so that it is tight (no longer loose).This made me wonder why Dr. Zhao did not screw it in for me (why wait till it falls off?). This made me wonder whether he just wanted the additional business from putting in a new implant instead of just screwing in the one. For this reason I want others to be aware that your dentist might put profits above your well being. Make sure to double check his recommendations with another dentist.

Dr. Zhou is the PERFECT dentist for people who hate going to the dentist! My top 3 reasons I can confidently say that:1. I had an emergency root canal and didn’t experience ANY pain or discomfort;2. My partner was terrified of the dentist and avoided seeing one for almost a decade. Since he met Dr. Zhou several years ago he’s gotten his teeth cleaned every 6 months; and3. I was a first time patient with Peartree. I had a tooth that cracked during the pandemic and wanted to get it fixed. They got me in very quickly for an exam. Their check in procedures were fantastic, I felt very safe.The office was very clean and modern.The exam was quick and the doctor explained everything even using a tooth model to explain what happened and how he would fix it. No overselling, no pressure, just facts.I had my treatment plan in my email before I arrived home and the price was very reasonable. Very happy.

I used to hate going to the dentist, so much so that I didnt for 7 years. But going to Dr. Zhou is great. There is zero judgement, zero blame. He and his staff have fantastic bedside manner, they are always very friendly and never talk down to you. Dr. Zhou makes sure you are okay throughout any procedure, and you can tell he makes the effort to reduce any pain or discomfort. The dental hygienist is also fantastic. I still dont love going to the dentist, but I highly recommend this practice to anyone.

Excellent care. Everyone is friendly and concerned for the patients. I had severe pain and got there as they were closing. I asked for an appointment for Monday, as this was Friday afternoon. Instead, they stayed to take care of me, saying they wouldnt let me be in pain for the weekend. I was delighted and had a good weekend. I have recommended Df. Zhou and staff to friends. Parking is right at the door.

During the covid season, the office staff were all fully geared to protect the staff and the patients. I called from my car and they promptly let me in for my appointment. I have known Dr Zhou for years. When you are a patient in his practice you are family in more ways than I can count. I had my tooth that had a crown on it fall out. I was so upset that when I called I was scheduled to see Dr Zhou the very next day. I was lucky because of his integrity that it was something that could be put back in without having to go to other alternatives. Not sure all doctors would be so honest. He is the best and for as long as I am here I will be his patient. Let me also tell you I do not live near his current practice. I met him years ago when he was in Middle River working for a dentistry practice. When he left I followed him to Elliott City and I don’t regret it one bit. My husband, son (now 5), and I have been going to PearTree for a few years now. We have had nothing but great experiences. They never keep you waiting, and are attentive and considerate. They really seem to care about people.

I retired from the military last year and needed to find a new plan for me and my family. After deciding on an insurance plan, I began the search for dentists that take my new insurance. I read extensive reviews and settled on Peartree, even though it was the furthest provider from my location (still, only about 15 minutes away... 20 if traffic is bad). It was the right call. My wife saw them first and told me how friendly everyone at the office was, and that she felt she got thorough care. My daughter was next, and she also found it to be excellent. I had an appointment scheduled, but the COVID crisis forced it to be cancelled. I finally was able to go, and I HIGHLY recommend this place. Not only were they VERY good at making both the customer and the staff feel safe (the safety precautions were very thorough), but my cleaning was thorough and painless, and the explanations that I received from Dr. Zhou were very simple and easy to understand (Im in my mid-fifties and have only seen military dentists for the last 30 years). I have some hairline fractures from grinding, and they let me know how they are going to address the problem start to finish.SO, if you want to save some time, finish reading this review and just GO. I did the review reading for you already, and this office is top notch. There, I just saved you some time!

My wife and I went to get our regular cleaning. The staff are very friendly, clean, and organized. Sarah at the front, Elise the dental hygienist, and Dr. Zhou are amazing. Elise in particular is very gentle and excellent in her care. Regardless of who you meet, this is a wonderful practice that care for their patients and does their job correctly.

The staff is very courteous and efficient. I usually dont have to wait long. They also send text reminders for appointments which works out quite well. The hygienists are great and so is Dr. Zhou.

I love this place! I used to dread going to the dentist, but this staff is friendly, professional and knows what they are doing. Dr. Zhou is the most knowledgable dentist I have seen; he has even fixed old fillings and caps done by previous dentists that werent done very well or have worn out. I dont get anxiety when I go to here like I used to with other dentists because I know they will do a good job and take care of me.

EXCELLENT experience with my crown prep today! I was a little nervous because of some other poor dental experiences but Dr. Zhou and his staff were GREAT at putting me at ease! I was able to listen to music in my headphones the entire time I was undergoing the procedure and literally almost fell asleep! That was a first! I dont usually write reviews, however, this place is great. I have a busy schedule and needed a last minute crown. This place is a bit out of the way for me but they were incredibly accommodating and worked with me to schedule a last minute appointment. Everyone who I met there was incredibly professional and informative. Most importantly they were very forthcoming about the costs in advance and the procedure I would need. I will definitely be a regular. I dont mind driving a little more for better service and honest professionals.

Dr Zhou is a fantastic dentist and his staff are outstanding! I especially like his hours, as he staggers them to accommodate people’s work schedule so they don’t have to take time off. They are especially good with people that are nervous at the dentist.
