Having had some dental trauma and bad experiences as a kid, going to the dentist has never been easy. Until I started seeing Dr. Wrigley. She is kind, patient and attentive. She makes you feel at ease. Well, I also have to mention that sedation helps quite a bit too. I highly recommend going that route if you have anxiety issues about going to the dentist.Great dental practice with a professional staff. I highly recommend Dr. Wrigley. She is the best dentist Ive ever had!

I recently switched to STDC. I was reluctant to do so because I liked my dentist, but I had several friends who swore by STDC and the amazing crew there. I am so glad I switched. The entire staff is terrific. They are a thriving operation, so as some of the disgruntled reviewers on here pointed out, they need appointments met and they need everyone to be timely. But in return, they had me in and out in record speed! Their waiting room was empty (as one other reviewer pointed out) because they dont keep patients waiting! They are punctual, professional, and they are so passionate about what they do. Their enthusiasm for their work and for life is infectious. They are incredible at what they do and I am thankful I was directed toward them.

I have extreme dental anxiety and avoided going to the dentist for way too long. I decided to finally face my fear and went to soft touch dental. I can not say enough about how wonderful this practice is! The initial consult was the hardest part- making myself walk through the door but they were gentle, understanding and didn’t make me feel embarrassed about how long it had been since I’d been to the dentist. I decided to have conscious sedation so that I could get all the work done at once and it was the best experience, I highly recommend! Dr. Wrigley and her assistant Michelle are the BEST!!! I already have my next cleaning scheduled and I don’t feel nervous about going back at all!

Soft Touch is honestly the BEST! Dr. Wrigley and the ENTIRE team is amazing and treats us truly like family. Super informative, helpful, and really cares about their patients. When you have an appointment, you will be seen at exactly that time which is so rare! I really cant say enough good things about Dr. Wrigley and Soft Touch. Soft Touch has been my choice for my dental care needs for about five years AND will be for years to come. First, the mechanism for reminding patients of appointments is flawless - it would be hard to use the excuse “I wasn’t even aware I had an appointment!”. Patients are always greeted by a warm and friendly staff member at the front desk (and prior to COVID restrictions) invited to a cup of coffee. But one would have to drink it quickly because the wait is rarely long, usually less than five minutes after arrival. The treatment staff, including Dr. Wrigley, Michelle, and Kylie are nothing short of exceptional! I know I’m not the only patient at Soft Touch, but I am made to feel that way! Friendly and mindful of my time, treatment is always exceptional and thorough. Checkout never leaves a doubt about upcoming appointments and co-payments due. I wouldn’t change a thing about my dental treatment - even the music playlists seem to match mine! Keep it up guys, you totally rock!

I recently visited Soft Touch for the first time. The staff was very professional and friendly. Kylie was my hygienist and she was gentle and gave great feedback on my dental health. The facility is recently updated and has a spa like feel. Dr. Wrigley was honest and attentive. I would absolutely recommend them to a friend!

Dr. Wrigley & her staff are AMAZING!! A few years ago I had a dental emergency when my Dentist was out of the country for the holidays. My sister highly recommended the staff at Soft Touch Dental Care in Ellicott City, MD. Dr. Wrigley was able to give me immediate relief both physically & mentally as I have had some bad experiences previously with trips to the Dentist. Needless to say because of the SUPERIOR care I received, without any hesitation I switched practices to become a patient. I have never felt more at ease during a trip to the dentist during that initial emergency visit & every visit since then. If you’re in search of a new practice then you MUST schedule a visit to Soft Touch Dental Care as you will never want to leave!!

On 12/10, I arrived for a relatively simple dental procedure; however, I was somehow very nervous about it, worrying that I would experience pain. The worry was unfounded since Ive been a patient there for several years, and I had never experienced discomfort with any dental work.Dr. Wrigley, Michele, and staff were very understanding and put me at ease by explaining the procedure step-by-step. At each step, they asked if I would like to take a break, but I was okay with going ahead! They were, of course, very professional and kind, and before I knew it, the very painless procedure was finished! I am so grateful!The office is also very COVID-aware, and procedures are in place to keep patients and staff safe.The entrance lobby and rooms are lovely, beautifully maintained, filled with natural light from many windows, and is truly welcoming.I highly recommend this Ellicott City office to everyone who feels they would like to change dentists or are new to the community and perhaps seeking a dentist.

Dr Wrigley and staff are amazing! Ive always had phobias about going to the dentist but theyve made every visit comfortable. The really treat you like family and are very gentle, from the cleaning to any work that Ive had done. I have recommended this practice to everyone and will continue to do so.

I had one of the best experience at Soft Touch Dental Care. It had been a while since I had been to a dentist office, then a friend mentioned that I should give a try. So I did, it was the best decision I ever made. Soft Touch dental staff made me feel right at home with their kindness and professionalism. The two Doctors are extremely knowledgeable in their profession. As a team I like how they take the time to get to know as a patient, thats very key to me. I appreciate them greatly.

Had a great initial visit to Soft Touch. Michelle and Dr. Wrigley as well as the very pleasant staff made a dental visit quite a comfortable experience.

STDC was recommended by a friend and has been my dental provider for the last 8 years basically since I moved to Maryland. The staff is incredible and they make you feel like part of the family. Dr. Wrigley is the best! Check out their Instagram social media page, they do great work with kids and have taken extra precautions needed with COVID.

Soft Touch Dental Care is awesome. Every member of the staff is so friendly and helpful. Dr. Wrigley is so personable and the best dentist I have had. She and the staff make you feel comfortable being there and in making an educated decision about work I might need. The clean and comfortable office and work spaces/chairs reminded me of how important those things are in a health-office setting.

My past dental experiences have made me so anxious. Thats not the case at Soft Touch Dental. The staff was so friendly and upbeat. I needed to have a crown and Dr. Wrigley made me so relaxed, and the procedure was pain free.

Terrible! Had wonderful experience with Dr Wrigley and Michelle, but other members of the staff leave a lot to be desired. I admittedly got my time wrong for my appointment, but then when I was given 10 minutes to get to the office and still be seen, and I arrived in 9 minutes, I was told I in fact would not be seen, even though the waiting room was empty ??!! So after thousands of dollars spent in good faith, and bringing my children in to be seen, Im looking for a new dentist. Maybe the worst part- after calling to speak with the practice owner- Dr Adams- regarding my experience, I was assured of a phone call back. Yep- you guessed it- nothing!! Hard to imagine a practice that cares so little for patients whove already invested so much money and interest in them!

I have a phobia of the dentist due to several bad experiences as a child and was very anxious when a dental issue came up that I couldnt ignore. I am very glad that I found Soft Touch. From my first call, they have been nothing but excellent. Dr. Wrigley is absolutely wonderful. She took the time to really listen to my concerns and was very understanding. She takes the time to build trust with her patients, which is probably one of the biggest things I was missing with dentists I had seen before. It had been quite a while since I had seen a dentist, and Dr. Wrigley and Carina were not at all judgmental when I said how long it had been. They certainly didnt sugarcoat anything, but relayed the facts and a treatment plan to me in a very honest way. The team is patient, understanding, gentle, and kind. This is probably the first time in my life that I am willing to refer my dentist to others!

Dr. Wrigley is the absolute best. I never have any pain even when I have something unusual that needs to be done. Even so, Dr. Wrigley is always diligent in ensuring that there is no pain or sensitivity throughout the visit. Also very thorough - the most thorough dentist I have been to (Ive only been to one other one). I always like to get Dr. Wrigleys opinion on anything unusual related to my jaw, mouth, etc. I also appreciate that she utilizes a conservative approach where possible. I dont want to ever go to a different dentist. I also appreciate how friendly and knowledgeable the entire staff is - from the assistants to the hygienists.

I have no dentistry qualms, but the folks at Soft Touch Dental take great care of me. I found Soft Touch Dental looking for a sedation dentist for my wife. When my dentist later closed her practice, I started going here too, and Im very glad I did! I had a troublesome filling thats been great since Dr. Wrigley corrected it, and Dr. Adams has seen me for my last several visits. They remember me from visit to visit, and Ive got great teeth thanks to them!

Lets start with they messed my teeth up permanently. I had to go to another dentist to fix what was done incorrectly. Just for a filling. Did not fill it correctly and messed my bite up, multiple times. Went to a new dentist to fix problem. Only after they removed the old soft touch filling and did their own. Me and my wife had the exact same situation happen with the same dentist. Hundreds of $ later the problem has finaly been fixed. Although the tooth can not be grinded down any longer so it now may have to be pulled to fix. Not enough tooth left now to grip the filling.

This is rough. Dr Wrigley and Michelle are AMAZING! I loved my first few visits. However, they have started going down hill. Mary is gone and the new receptionist is not nearly as pleasant. In fact, shes pretty rude. The billing department has always been an area of opportunity but now they have started fraudulently billing insurances. Watch out!

In a million years, I *never* thought I would give a dentist a five-star rating, but Soft Touch Dental Care is the very rare exception, in my vast, horrifying dental experience. Dr. Adams is kind, very patient, funny, and thorough. I never feel rushed or ill-at-ease asking questions or needing extra time. I went through an 8-9 hour procedure (replacing several caps, cleaning, fillings) and it was magic...quick and pretty painless. I opted, too, for invisaligns (I am 63!) and have been pleased so far. Dr. Adams has listened and responded to my concerns with a caring, concerned and pleasant manner.Nicole is wonderful; entertaining, helpful, considerate, effective and efficient; I look forward to seeing her. Amira always has a beautiful smile and wave hello, along with a friendly word. From my first encounter with the office through Mary (her initial and continuing upbeat attitude and kindness put me right at ease), to paying my bill (actually didnt mind it!) with Sue and working out some unusual details, I have consistently felt welcome and important. Soft Touch Dental Care should be in the dictionary as the model for patient-centered, gentle, and kind (not to mention EXCELLENT) dental care!

I was met by Sandy the front end assistant she was remarkable. I waited no more than 2 minutes before Julie (Dental Hygienist) led me back to the room...talking with her was like talking with an old friend she reassured me that I was in good hands and there is Zero judgement. I am very surprised with other reviews here.My experience with soft touch was ok and no complaints when I was at office.( I think this should be normal). I was there 3 times so far and every hygienist was very polite and soft touch hand :) However their insurance department was horrible and every time I called them they seems repeating same script but does not listen to my question ( I felt like I was talkin to answering machine )It is shameful. All the effort and time, the doctor and hygienist put to make a good impression to patient, got ruined by simple phone call manner.Everytime I was there I had no complaints with service, but couple of months later I always get the bill that I was not explained or informed during office visit. I understand that there can be unexpected insurance problem or coverage changes, but way they talked to people the phone was not helpful and I dont see any intension to help to solve the issue.I hope the doctor check these reviews and invests some money to send people to insurance training and communication.

I was a new patient and in pain. They got me right in, even though they were booked. Helped me out and were so nice and gentle. Everyone was friendly and the dr was knowkedgable and kind.

My wife loves STDC. Super nice and pro staff! Juuust a bit expensive, but totally worth it.

Dr. Adams and Amira have literally changed my life. I couldnt be any happier.
