I had May 18 dental appointment. I called several days before this appointment date and got automatic message that the clinic was closed. I received no phone call, no text and no email stating my appointment was not to be. It is now June 30 and still no contact from the clinic. On May 18 I made an appointment with Park Dental. They were open and were accepting new patients.

Said that they took my insurance. Weeks later got slapped with a $380 bill. Couldnt pay the bill and they sent me to collections. What a nightmare. Still a year later and I am struggling to pay the bill. Love my teeth, but not worth the credit hit and financial strain. I wouldnt go back. They are all about money first. You second.

I had an appointment to fill a cavity that was understandably cancelled in March due to Covid. When they reopened I rescheduled my appointment to get my cavity filled. When I went in they said yep, you need your tooth filled make another appointment. Frustrating, but okay, I make yet another appointment for 3 weeks out. The day my appointment comes they call and cancel it again. Then I call back to reschedule and they want me to wait another 3 months until they have an opening. I feel like if you have cancelled on me twice you should work to get me in sooner than 3 months, especially when Im having tooth pain. This place is so disorganized, do not recommend.

Absolutely the best dental office my family has ever been to. Elk river metro dental is the absolute best dentist office that I have ever been to. My children actually enjoy going and the staff remember them and ask about things happening that they spoke about at the last visit. Everyone is professional and so welcoming. I truly enjoy going and am happy I found a place to take my kids that they enjoy. Thank you to all the staff in the building.

Best dentist experience I’ve ever had. I’ve been going here for about 8 years. Colleen, my hygienist, is always extremely pleasant. And Dr. Nelson, my dentist is friendly and knowledgeable. I am always confident and at ease going into every appointment because of both of them.

The staff is great! I had really bad experiences growing up, at different dental offices, and it is important to me that my children have good experiences from the beginning. The staff here made my three young children (5, 3 and 2) feel comfortable and they are all excited to go back! My 5 year old even needed a small filling and it all went very smoothly.

Ms. Colleen walked me through every thing, answered all of my questions, she is just awesome. She and Dr. Blahnik helped me come up with a great plan for my specific needs. They helped me make decisions around what was in my best interest for my end goal. They didnt rush me through anything. I was so appreciative of how kind and comfortable they both made me feel. Much thanks to them both!

Very professional and welcoming. Michelle and Dr Nelson are great!I plan on moving soon and even though where I’m moving has a office in town, I’ll continue to drive to Elk River. By far the best team anyone could ask for.

Dr. Nelson is amazing! My 8 year old daughter was very very nervous about getting her tooth pulled today. The moment she saw the shot all bets were off. Dr. Nelson tried everything but tricking her or lying to her. We were going to give up and reschedule with laughing gas when my daughter had a special request and Dr. Nelson said yes I will but you have to be brave so I can help you get this tooth out first. It worked and doctor Nelson not only made my daughter’s day but mine too! Thank you for going the extra mile!

Ive been going here for a few years now. I hardly ever have to wait in the lobby and Im usually out in about an hour. My dental hygienist, Stacy, is great and very communicative in regards to what she is doing in every step. Im not a huge fan of going to the dentist, but I havent had a bad experience here and it makes all the difference.

Even though I now live an hour away, I still go to my dentist here. She and the hygienists are always great and do a thorough job.

I’ve been going to MetroDental since I was a kid. Dr Johnson was the only dentist I didn’t have anxiety attacks seeing. Now I see Dr Balanik as Johnson retired and I’m just as comfortable with him as I was with Johnson. They are very patient and make sure that you are comfortable while in their care.

Michelle and Dr. Nelson are amazing! They both have made my dental anxiety so much less, and I look forward to catching up with them at my visits! They are both outstanding!

I had gotten into a car accident that morning just before my appointment and the staff and everybody in the building where was very helpful in helping me fill out my paperwork as this was my first visit I appreciated all the help that I got and I would definitely recommend this company to people for dental work they helped me out a lot

This was my dental office from about 2013-2015. The dentists and hygienists are nice (which is why I did not give one star), but one of my fillings I had received while there wasnt smoothed out all the way. I had mentioned it during the day I got the filling, but they told me that it was okay. Fast forward about a month later, and my filling popped out. The jagged part they had failed to smoothe out all the way had caught on some dental floss. They wouldnt budge on accepting responsibility for the cost to get it refilled, which actually costed more than the original filling because of a rush charge.Also one of the main front desk personnel was incredibly aggressive, rude and short with me almost every time I went there. Especially regarding payments. It was a dread every time of mine to work with her when it came time for billing. I do not remember her name but she was 40+ white lady with short hair.

I just love going to Metro Dental Care Elk River. They always make me feel comfortable and at ease.

Been using Metro Dental Care for several years now, great place, love the evenings and weekends because I can still work full time, and get in proper dental care...have to schedule way in advance for thos ehours though.

Metro dental at first was my preferred dentist. They are nice welcoming with very good dentist. But then i came to the realization that they dont really care for there patience. Im 22 years old with no family no car struggling to make ends meet. I had a expensive dental plan and we completed about half of it. My ride bailed on me and couldnt make my appointment it was a honest mistake. They charged me a 35 fee and told me i cant make future appointments only same day. They Never have same day appointments available. So now i have half completed work and some of it other dentist wont work on because another dentist started it like my front tooth. It was repaired but still needs a cap still. 2 cavities will turn into root canals really soon if i cant get in but all they care about is money they missed out on even tho my dental plan is 4000+. Iv been to the dentist 4-5 times in the last 2 months trying to stay on top of it but missesd a couple appointments because im young, no licence,homeless, struggling. I tried to explain my situation but they dont care. I feel like i have been screwed and it sucks because prior to this i really felt like this was my preferred place. Even the assistants are really friendly people. Some people in this world come from really hard tuff places. Things happen Life can be hard but they dont understand that. I just wanna get all my teeth fixed..

Dr. Nelson and Michelle are the best! They know about who I am, and care for my family and me like no other dentists weve ever seen!
