They got me in for an emergency appointment the same day. The next day had my tooth pulled. The medical staff is so friendly and professional. The ortho made me laugh the second my tooth was pulled! Highly recommend great place!

I have been seen at ERFD for many years. When I went to set up an appt for a crown I was told that they no longer took my credit card as payment. The office gal said all patients with this card were sent a letter explaining this. I never got this letter.The dental Tec took an extra x-ray of the tooth that needed to be crowned, the office gal gave me a printout of what the fee would be & she said she would send my insurance company a letter to see what they would pay.A month later & I still hadnt heard from my insurance company, so I called ERFD to see what was going on. I was told they did not send a letter to my insurance company. They told me it was their assumption I would find another dentist.After the extra xray, the estimate of charges & being told that they would get an estimate of what insurance would pay, where did I get it wrong???Maybe it wasnt me that got it wrong....

I went into the dentist with an infected wisdom tooth on a Friday and Elk River Family Dentistry got me in the next day to get it removed. I was extremely nervous but they answered all of my questions thoroughly. Any concerns I had were addressed in a caring but also professional matter. Will be going back in the future to get my others removed when needed!

I had a short but happy experience. Check in was nice and the receptionist was nice. I need to get all 4 of my wisdom teeth done without insurance. I got the X-ray done and a consultation. Dr.Linn didn’t charge me for the consultation which saved me a lot of money I’m sure. Im not having my surgery done at this location because they only do them one day a week on Saturday so the woman (I can’t remember her name) that took my X-ray called down the road for an estimate and possible time. I’ll definitely be coming back for other dental work like cleanings and stuff when I have insurance!

The dentist office is great at scheduling appointments and reminders. They do not screw up on billing like our old dentist did. The staff are friendly and do not run late getting patients to the chair.

I had a great experience! Everyone was friendly. The receptionist was kind and tracked down my dental history from my insurance. The hygienist Denise was talking to me the entire time explaining what she was doing and why. She also filled some of the time giving me interesting facts about dental hygiene and small talk as well. The woman in billing was also extremely friendly. One of my best dental visits Ive had!

I have been going to Elk River Family Dentistry my entire life (24 yo) and cant imagine going anywhere else! The receptionists are extremely helpful and friendly, most of the hygienists are very gentle, and the dentists knowledgeable! I have had cavities filled and wisdom teeth removed, all with no issues. Even while away for college (6 years) and after moving to the cities, I am willing to drive to this dentist. Quality care from people you can trust (and I am not one of those people that LOVE the dentist).

My daughter was treated amazing here! She has bad anxiety with needles and dentist. We went to three other dentist and they couldn’t hello us. Those dentist didn’t Give true care as Elk River Family Dentistry!! She felt cared for and trusted them. They gave her comfort! I’ll be going there from now on!! I love them!

Staff is exceptionally knowledgeable but they treat things like an assembly line (putting you into the first open chair with the first open hygienist and first open dentist.) With this system you do not end up with the same people when you come in and it looses its personal feel. To add to this two two times Ive been in they were 30 minutes and over 50 minutes late.

I have receding gums and the dentist scoffed and belittled me when i told him I was told before it was from aggressive tooth brushing. Telling me he has never heard of that, which webmd/ other dentists Ive seen would beg to differ. Also, the cleaning experience was easily the worst I have ever had in my entire life... extremely painful for both my wife and I. Would definitely never recommend

Almost no one likes the dentist (and those that do are widely laughed at). This one has been good to me. The most recent checkup I found myself paired with a less than sadistic hygienist who was actually very precise yet firm in their cleaning efforts. Yay!

This office is the best I’ve been to in 50 plus years!! I had horrible experiences prior to trying this one and am so relieved to know I finally have a trustworthy and caring team for my dental needs. I kid you not that when I first came to their office I literally shook the whole chair assembly that I sat in. So I tried the gas and that helped, and now I go in with no anxiety at all. Thanks to Drs. Truchon and Wallace.

Dr. David Truchon is amazing. Great service, I was scheduled to get 2 teeth cleaned and drilled but he cleaned two more teeth out and drilled them for free just because he found extra tooth decay once the other two were cleaned. He is very reasonable, upfront, and seems to really want whats best for his patients. Dr. Truchon is someone you can trust will give you nothing but the best treatment at a very affordable price.

They do a good job at ER Family Dentistry. My appt had maybe 5min or so wait time and the cleaning went well! They have electronic reminders for appts if you choose to do that - works great for me!

Location used to support the military BUT have decided they no longer support Soldiers and have discontinued taking Soldiers using military Tricare insurance. Unfortunate for Soldiers because it is tough to find dental offices in the network.

A few comments on dislikes of this past visit. i told hygenist who told person setting up next appt that I was on my way out of town and yet 3 text messages within the hour. could this not have been delayed. also several text messages for a post eval to my flip phone that does not have internet capability nor has anyone asked if my phone has that ability and I needed to call to find a way to put in a review since typing in the texted web site on my laptop did not allow me access. for an older person this is not tech friendly.

The cleaning was very thorough and the technology/instruments was current.

I was very upset to find that my first time there they said I had tooth decay and a cavity. I brush regularly and went to the orthodontist the week before (I have braces) and they said I had normal brushing and nothing cavities/ decay wise. Im going back to my original dentist.
