Signed in and was called within 5 minutes. Dr. was very patient with me. Explained everything that was going to happen. Making sure I understood exactly what he was going to do and what the next steps were. Pretty Good All The Way Around.

Mary Dominguez was amazing! She broke down the procedures I needed, made it very easy for me to understand. She was also able to let me know what my insurance didnt cover and worked out a plan that is affordable for my income. Thank you Mary, you are the sweetest❤

If your looking to get ripped off, you found the right place, they feed me doom and gloom then gave me a 23000 dollar quote to fix 6 cavities and if you get the plan on line you can get half off. Then I told them I just want to fix the cavities and dont have the money for that. They told me to get the plan online and they can do 1700 but you need a 500 teeth cleaning first. If you cant smell a con then you should come to western dental. I got my problems for some where else for under 1000 dollars... hope you find this review helpful.

Our first time here was great. Their service was quick and efficient. Maritza, as well as the other employees were very family friendly and they’re Bilingual too.

The WORST dental place in California.The only thing they are interested in is taking advantage of the situation of the patients and getting money from them.

If I can give this place ZERO reviews I would. This office had me waiting for my 6 year old daughters appointment that was at 12:30 PM up until 2:30. When they finally called her in, the pediatric specialist had a nasty attitude and got mad because I wanted to watch my child while she was back there. Then my daughter asked me if I can hold her and I told her I can’t. The pediatric specialist got all mad and said “well how many people do you think we can fit in here?!” And I told her I was just telling her that I can’t hold her hand because she asked. And walked to the front and refused to work on my child. This isn’t the first mishap I’ve dealt with this office.

I was helped by Mary. She was very Helpful and explained everything very thoroughly. Highly recommended!!

The wait to be called back wasnt too bad but once I was back in a chair I waited about an hour to get numb. The doctor that worked on my teeth was amazing though and thats where my 5 stars go to. I asked for him for my next visit and even the receptionists were so nice.

Worst dentist in El monte. You have to wait more than 1 hour every visit. Waste of time.

Absolutely terrible. I have had 3 separate at this western dental.During my first appointment, they turned me away because they couldnt verify my insurance. My husband had called and asked them if it would be an issue to come in on a Saturday and they said it wouldnt be an issue I waited in the lobby close to an hour before they turned me away.During my 2nd appointment for a wisdom tooth extraction I waited in the lobby for an hour and a half. This was on a random weekday in the afternoon.During my 3rd appointment I waited TWO HOURS in the lobby and then another 30 minutes in a private cubicle to be seen by the hygentist. In those two hours no one apologized or gave me an ETA. I was booked for a cavity filling and turns out they didnt book me for that one only the cleaning ( mind you I had called almost two weeks prior to set my appointment for a cleaning and filling and waited on the phone while the receptionist checked if it would be possible to do both in one day) . In all this, they charged my debt card 3 times. Once for a copay visit from my last visit ( which I assumed they charge me for considering I paid for my copay for the actual extraction) , then for my copay for my current visit, and then for my filling after they told they had a space they could squeeze me into.The real cherry on top was having to deal with a rude and argumentive dentist during my filling. Also I had to make appointments weeks in advance just to be treated so terribly.Bottom line either they are extremely unorganized or dont care about their patients time, energy, and feelings.I recommend you stay away if possible. I will be looking for a new office because this was an absolute slap in the face.

The staff are so friendly and work hard to make sure your pain free. All of the staff have made my experiences there very pleasant.

My wife went in for tooth pain, and came out crying. Not because they did anything, but because she went in to get the tooth pain dealt with and came out with options on how to fix all of her teeth for $47,000. All they have her was an appointment to see a specialist to continue to collect on that $47,000, and no solution on how to fix her current pain.The dentist was condescending, rude, and uncaring to the situation that some people cannot afford to see the dentist without insurance. And even WITH insurance, they do not do what the patient came in for in the first place.My wife has anxiety, and her blood pressure was up. They suggested she see a doctor for her high blood pressure... Not being able to go in with her was a problem, and I dont see us returning to this dentist AT ALL. Neither should you if you are treated badly, rudely, and do not get the service you requested.. PAIN should be taken away, not increased emotionally...

They scheduled my boyfriend for an appointment at 9am, so he takes off work. We get here a 9am and the office is closed I start calling the offices and no one gives me a response to why the office is closed, they were just being rude and trying to reschedule me. Around 9:17 the office opens and the front desk lady says sorry there’s was traffic( we’re almost in 2020, traffic shouldn’t be an excuse, if a customer wakes up early to make it on time, why shouldn’t the office do the same ?)We check in and the front desk lady says we have to wait until 9:45 because the dentist gets here at 9:45.My question is if they’re going to schedule at 9am shouldn’t they be ready at that time and the dentist should be here at 9. Why would they schedule at 9am if they don’t open on time and no staff is here until 9:45.None of the staff is here just the front desk lady, this is a very poorly operated Western dental.This office is a joke !

Staff is very friendly!! Aracely the hygienist was very professional and did an awesome cleaning. The only thing I disliked was waiting for so long to have my cleaning. My appointment was at 5pm and they did not start my cleaning till 6:20pm.

Ive always had my work done here.. I absolutely HATE this place.. We wait for hours after our scheduled appointment time.. The dentists are clearly only here for a paycheck.. My questions are never answered only directed to other specialist no game plan.. Very frustrating..However, the girls at the front desk try to do there job& val is awesome!

0930 Appointment. Arrived 0900. They were not busy this Saturday morning. Walked out at 1020. It was cold in the office and they were taking people that walked in after me, before me, and I had been sitting there. I got my paperwork done and was waiting, but Im not going to waste my morning or money on a place that is making me wait in a cold office taking people before me that come in AFTER me. After I bothered to make the appointment and your not busy. When this office figures this out that thats bad customer service, I might come back. Let me know when they do.

This has been an interesting experience, 3.25stars!These guys have mastered the approach of determining your dental issue(s). Their use of dental scans is a 5star approach. Then the dr evaluation of the scans before the actual examination is very thorough. This leads to a confirmation of assessment and / or more investigation in review. Very good.The wait times are unacceptable. I never show up late and have come at least 15 minutes early each time and I have had to wait over an hour the first time and 40 minutes the second. My hygienist cleaning is the third try. I’ll let you know how it goes. 2 Stars.The front desk staff are ok. Not exactly friendly, but thorough. 3starsService staff are better and explain things well. 4stars.My family is full of dentists so I don’t find myself too frequently in an unfamiliar dentist office, but can tell you they got things right and handled the issues correctly. The only thing you should be aware of is that they will promote services beyond what you need and you should know there is a big difference between “what you need and what is nice to have.”Ask them point blank about the differences. Save a lot of money.Enjoy Life and a healthy smile.

Im looking for a new dentist because I recently moved here, I visit this office today and they did not even give me any information because I did not have an appointment. I understand I need an appointment to se the dentist, but at least give some information on how to get an appointment and what kind of insurances they accept. The receptionist makes you feel unwanted there.

Very incompetent staff especially the scheduler. They set you up for an appt and when you get there, everybody is on lunch for one hour. Also they are promoting they have orthodontics , open evenings and weekends..thats a Big Lie. They only have orthodontics every Friday . Their bills are enormous compared to other dental office. We will be transferring to the one in Pasadena but when I read the reviews..they are bad as well. Go see another dental clinic so you wont be victimized by this terrible corporate.

Horrible service I’ve been waiting for over 3 hours!!! My sons app was at 12:30pm I got here at 12pm, it is now 3:20pm as I write this review! And the only reason why I haven’t left is because I need my sons oral health assessment filled out for school! Never again smh.

So, when i started my braces care with this office, i was told that, because there are so many western dental offices, i could go to any one of them to get treated if the situation were to ever come up. That was a flat out lie.My appointment was cancelled and i received no phone call in regards to the cancellation. I get there, thinking my appointment was still on, only to be told that it was rescheduled for NEXT month. Like other reviews, its advertised that their ortho dentist is there multiple times a month, another lie. I informed them my wire had broken and none of them told me anyone of the assistants could get it for me. It wasnt until days after that i called to reschedule my appointment through corporate, that the customer service rep informed me that any one of the assistants could cut the wire for me. On top of that, the customer service representative informed me that the Ortho dentist was actually in the office, the Saturday after my cancelled appointment. Keep in mind, it was Saturday when i called to reschedule. Hoping I would be able to come in that same day to get my braces adjusted and wires fixed, i was told i needed to get there by 2 to be seen. It was passed 1 already, and my drive to that office was an hour away. I explained my situation, and explained i would be able to get there in a little over an hour, since i was at work. I was then told that it would need to be at 2 or else i would not be seen. The office closes are 4, and my braces adjustment has never taken more than 20 min. The fact that this office made mistake after mistake with little to no regard of my situation is the reason why Ive decided to stop my treatment with western dental. I would honestly rather pay a cancellation fee than continue working with this company. The braces costs about 2000 MORE THAN ANY OTHER OFFICE, and the only reason I decided to seek treatment there was because i was told i could go into any office to be seen.

Seriously thought they where good but of course first visits always good. They cram too many ppl and the dentist took his break while i was half done in the chair. My fillings came out and they refuse to put another one and give me a root canal. I didnt do it. Service os terrible wait for soooooooo long when i tell the manger they dont seem to care. I saw roach that was like one of those big ones in a roach trap so god knows wahts walking on my intruments that goes in my mouth. I try to like thwm but seriously i hate this place. Worst dentist ever.

Jose office manager was friendly and on top of everything. Dentist was very good and through. Ortho surgeon was very friendly and caring. Wait time was exoected for office visit. Clean office. Dental assistants were very polite and caring. Only complaint is front desk appointment setter Jonathan is so rude. He is unfriendly and refused to crack a smile despite how nice I was being. He is very rude and gives judgemental stares. He also had my appointment wrong the first time and never called back to fix the issue. Nor did he admit his mistake. He just stares at you with this stupid stare on his face. He is the saying the lights are on but nobody is home. I highly reccomend they let him go. He has horrible customer service skills.

I went to the clinic for a regular check up and it ended in the cleaning my teeth was done by a nurse not for the Dentist. Normally, the Dentist is the one that does the cleaning and the nurse only perform the polish..... not really like it. This was done in the Western Dental located at the Hacienda Blvd. and Amar in La Puente, Ca......
