Only tip I can give first timers is to get to your appointment at least 5-10 mins earlier just in case you have trouble finding her place, it’s a bit tricky to find!

She was on time and even sent a message to let me know she might be running a little late (which she wasn’t) the space was very clean and she was also very personable. Imani is talented and incredibly professional. I had two unsuccessful makeup trials with other makeup artists in the month leading to my wedding so I took a leap of faith and asked Imani to do my wedding makeup. I’m so happy I did. She erased pimples, listened to my concerns and somehow managed to bring the perfect foundation shade for me without having met me before. My makeup was natural like I wanted it and help up through the tears and 97 degree weather. Would highly recommend HelloImani!

Imani is incredible!! She was the makeup artist for my wedding, and I knew from the trial that I really liked her! She did an excellent job on my makeup as well as my bridesmaids. I really highly recommend her!Imani is very kind and calm, which helps for a stressed out bride on the day of, and she is knowledgeable about makeup and wedding makeup for all party members. During the trial, we tried on different lip colors--- orange-brown, red, and nude-- as well as experimented with the brows and bronzer. Imani was open to changes and listened carefully. As someone who doesn’t wear a lot of makeup, I don’t really have the vocabulary to explain what I’d like changed, and I appreciated that she was able decipher my attempts to do so.We decided to go with a similar look for the wedding and I was grateful to see that she actually improved on the look! I didn’t even think it needed to be improved upon, but she brought a pink nude that totally complemented the look and she did an even more excellent job on the face and eyes. My husband (!) even commented that he thought my makeup looked better than the engagement shoot, and he loved my makeup on the engagement shoot. I appreciate the thought that went into making very subtle changes that made me even more pretty on the day of!I am impressed with Imani’s ability to work with my bridesmaids in 30-45 min. on the day of and make them all radiant and beautiful! I also have to mention that my mom had to drop out a week before the wedding day—Imani was totally forgiving and refunded me completely for MOB makeup. I think that she was not obligated to do this based on our contract, but I value her understanding. Thank you, Imani!Suffice to say..
