Accommodating, friendly, helpful and professional. I got a brow, lip & Brazilian wax and the environment was nice & clean, and my technician was great! She made me feel extremely comfortable and gave great advice and suggestions. No wonder she was booked for the rest of this year.

I love this place. I remember the first time I got waxed at European wax center & I was surprised that it didnt hurt, the normal amount. I was told it was thewax formula they use & Ive never gone anywhere since. I used to go to the San Rafael location but like others, it didnt withstand COVID. When salons opened again I called San Francisco first & was put on hold by an automated message. I hung up & called El Cerrito where they picked up before the second ring & I was asked if I was available that afternoon. I was expecting a huge wait!! I went in & it was great as usual. Actually, probably the best wax I had ever had. They even attempted to fulfill a special request! So great!! 💗💗💗💗

I went in to get Brazilian wax for the first time and I had a great experience with kelani she made me feel real comfortable. We had good conversation for my entire sessions and I will definitely recommend this business to my friends and family. The receptionists was also very nice and friendly. Very unprofessional rude people working there 07/11/21 my wife set an appointment there we come from across the bridge 30 minute drive to be told that she is nine minutes late and can’t have an appointment done now take it there’s a lot of traffic crash in the San Rafael bridge They were called and notified that my wife will be a few minutes late and was told that’s fine and when she got there she was told she can’t get her service done we will never come here again . We bought the 10 wax package and are getting a full refund back for it

I had schedule an appointment for 9:45 am. There was an accident on the freeway causing me to be late. I called them, told them I was going to be late because there was traffic. The lady I spoke to told me that it was okay she knew there was an accident on the freeway. Once I arrive she told me my appointment had been canceled because it was over the 9 minute mark. Then told me there wasn’t another appointment avaiable until 2:30pm. I just drove 35 minutes for no reason while 9 months pregnant. No one told me if I was 9 minutes late my appointment would be canceled. Very unprofessional.

First review: My eyebrows are visibly different shape on each side and one is visible thinner and one is thicker. I waited over a month to grow out my eyebrows and now have to regrow them. I bought an eyebrow pencil to make them even. I’m terribly disappointed. I also got my legs waxed and there’s still long hairs on my legs. I thought you get what you pay for! I didn’t want to go to an inexpensive place so this wouldn’t happen! Turns out- price doesn’t match quality. The only good thing was that the girl was nice and the place was clean. But that’s not all the package.*Update: I went back in to have the missing hairs removed from my legs after management reaching out to me and Stephanie did an wonderful job! I am happy with my legs. She was very attentive to detail. Still growing my eyebrows back from the first waxer. I wish I went with Stephanie the first time around! She was awesome.

Horrible customer service. Very rude on the phone, called because I need to cancel my appointment and wanted to be courteous and avoid a no show, receptionist put me on hold several times and got snappy when I told her I just needed to cancel. They should have the feature to cancel online to avoid this. Voicemail is full and couldnt leave a message either, still didnt cancel my appointment.

Ive been going here for years. Love that fresh wax feeling, it makes you feel super clean. Teal gives amazing service. Its important to have a waxer that makes you feel comfortable. !

This is not my first visit at EWC or for this location. Through out my experience, Ive had one bad experience where my skin was burned and it took 6 months to heal even with the help of my dermatologist and 2 different meds. Today was the 2nd bad experience. I am bleeding right after the wax and I was told it is normal to have some skin irritation because of the hair follicle being pulled out. I do not believe this is a small skin irritation. It felt like the wax didnt harden enough before the wax was ripped off and I felt like she was rushing. I am not satisfied with the service. This is very disappointing and I dont think an apology or a complementary service will be able to fix something like my well being is concerned. I do go back (different locations) because I have a need for the service. The staff gets comfortable with what they are doing over time (they take short cuts or they have home problems or whatever that they are not happy with their life) and neglect the customers overall satisfaction experience. In this type of service, let me remind you that a lot of customers are repeat client because of the nature of the service needed so at some point, I know when it didnt felt right. Today was that day. Very disappointing.

If I could give negative stars I would. Hate this place with a passion. Customer service sucks. Receptionists are ghetto & nobody knows what they are doing. Had my appointment cancelled 3 times. They never called me. Wasted my time driving to this location plenty of times. San Francisco or Antioch location is so much better! NEVER EVER going here again!

I’ve been coming here to this location almost a year now. I’ve seen 3 different waxers & they were all great but COLLETTE is the best. She talks you through, she’s informative & she’s the fastest waxer I ever had & does a great job. I only gave the location 3 stars because the receptionist at this location are terrible. They are the first face you see & you wanna feel welcomed not like their just reading off a script & want you out their face. (I’ve been to other locations & the receptionist never act like this) I’m not sure if they all have attitudes or they just hate their job but every time I’ve came to this spot the receptionist look & interact w/ you in a way that comes off like they don’t wanna be there, it’s annoying I dread having to deal w/ them.

Ive been seeing Kathy for several years now, and have been very happy. They occasionally have sales (in December?) on packages, which saves a lot.

WARNING: Do not waste you time and money on their terrible products. I suggest you get in, get your service and get out. They will sell you a product they know is terrible, not give you a receipt, then tell you that there is nothing that they can do for you when you try to return it. But they won’t tell you this on the phone, instead they will lie and tell you that they will be more than happy to help you. Then when you waste even more money and time going back they will then tell you that their is nothing they can do. I believe that this is because they hope that if you come back they can trick you into spending even more money. But do not fall for the initial scam like i did. Save yourself from the headache and disappointment that this place will give you.

First time i went the waxer did not get all the hair. :( she also made me bleed. second visit with a diff waxer: they were apparently really packed and could not add another service to my appointment. Their website though said they had two available appointments: 515pm and 7pm.
