I came when I had a heart attack, and spent several years here. The staff was very helpful and courteous, they always went out of their way to help the patients out. The facility is very clean, the staff is incredibly nice and professional and take their duties very seriously. My mom is back in Cottonwood after a 6 year hiatus w no major falls. On Christmas Eve my 93 yo Mom fell into a wall and pile of hard cardboard boxes. She was rushed to Emergency surgery on Christmas Day for 2 broke/fractured hips. Through the grace of God, she made it through surgery. She had various complications coming out of it, i.e.: blood transfusion, low potassium etcAfter 2 weeks in the CCU she was transferred to Cottonwood Canyon. I requested she be transferred there to begin physical therapy. I SAID I SENT HER THERE ON PURPOSE, as it is literally the BEST FACILITY in east county. This will be here 3rd stay there over the course of 15 years. The staff is what makes a nursing facility top notch, as well as cleanliness etc. The staff at Cottonwood is very skilled, professional and RESPONSIVE. Exactly as they should be. The family is included in the patent care and it is a team effort with kindness that makes this facility more advanced than others out there.We really appreciate all the help over the years from longtime employee Stacy. She is the kind of professional we all strive to be.Thank you COTTONWOOD CANYON for taking care of my mom AND dad (he was there too), for so many years. As well as all their elderly friends from LJPE. You really run a TIGHT SHIP :))

My grandmother was a patient at Cottonwood Canyon For around 2 months she had a great experience, nurses were great and they have the best physical therapy team. She had her strength back and was up and walking again in no time thanks to the care she received, Me and my family really appreciate the dedication and patience my grandmother received during her stay at Cottonwood Canyon Healthcare Center

Of the past for skilled nursing facilities that I’ve been in over the years by far Cottonwood Canyon has been above and beyond professional in dealing with my situation by having adequate care the best CNA is around the best administration around that I’ve experienced without them I wouldn’t heal as well as I have and this is a very serious issue and I’m blessed to be in a place like this although places like this are very difficult for the staff to maintain And Cottonwood Canyon has been doing the best that I’ve seen from the four facilities that I’ve been at from admissions to transitioning to home health care displays is definitely awarded the five star in my opinion

Dont go to this place. It smells bad, there are mice running about. Clearly is understaffed with only a few knowledgable employees. They seem more interested in just having people in the beds and not being sued than real care of patients. They wouldnt even help my mother into a cab when she left.

Cottonwood Canyon Healthcare is a nursing home. In a word, how does one rate a 5 Star nursing home. When one considers all the areas of service that matters, Cottonwood Canyon is more like a 25 Star nursing home with 5 Stars in each: Nursing and Patient Care, Special Therapy and Social Services, Food Service, Housekeeping and Building Maintenance.The Cottonwood Canyon people are happy, friendly, respectful, caring and competent.and theyre well-managed by an equally caring and competent administrative team. Whether its your first time through the front door or youve been there for 9 months as Ive been daily visiting my wife of nearly 30 years, you are greeted by smiling, friendly people who take their jobs of caring for you, yours and each other seriously. The longer youre there and the more youre engaged, the more it feels like being welcomed in and cared for by family.In a word, Cottonwood Canyon Healthcare is EXCELLENT.

They have giving me care and respect time i& time again.discussing the case managementplain, pain management, referrals ,expertise specialist, the list goes on.. if you make the time to approach them in their busy schedule they will stop and listen to you. Theyve taken very good care but my brother..

Currently a patient. I have never seen a staff that neglects thier job as bad as they do. I can count on one hand the nurses and CNAS that actually care. Camt wait to be moved out.
