I went to Jamacha Dental clinic today for an emergency treatment, and I left very satisfied with the level of care, treatment, and customer service that I was given. Dr. Abdullah went above and beyond to assist me in a very passionate and caring way, he is such a professional dentist, kudos also goes to clinic staff for their dedication to provide me the help needed, furthermore, I witnessed high level standards of the COVID 19 protection measures, it made me feel safe, thinking of the visit from start to finish I can only give 5 stars as I’m unable to find any negative matter otherwise.I recommend this clinic to anyone looking for a great experience and a high level of care.

I am lucky that Dr. Al and Dr. Mina they been my dentist for 10+ years. They saved my teeth and, thus, my overall health. They are knowledgeable and they does wonderful work. I arrived at my first appointment with significant repair needed. Scary! We (yep, I was involved) created a lengthy treatment plan. My physical and financial comfort directed the project. They explained EVERY procedure! and cost and presented alternative options. I asked questions, and they were answered. Nobody in the office ever made me feel ashamed or embarrassed about the state of my dental health or the rate I could afford to address the issues. The Jamacha Dental teams goal was to get me well in my treatment. The front desk staff are highly experienced in the management of insurance issues, and are so friendly and helpful explaining everything. The doctors stay very well versed in new technology. When I had emergency dental needs, Dr. Al has always been there for me. They always have checked-in after significant procedures (and when I say checked in, I mean the Drs. themselves called). I have spent many hours in their dental chair, and everyone has been very kind and patient. I do not often post on Yelp, but my call with the office this afternoon inspired me to sing their praises. I would highly recommend this PLACE!.

I have worked here for almost a year and its an honor to be working here. Ive worked at a lot of offices and had a lot of dentistry done but Dr Al and Dr Mina are truly the best. I had a wisdom ext without sedation and was fine to work the next day. They care about patients and employees and I highly recommend this office.

This place is such a gem. I’m a very fearful patient. My dental health has taken a back seat recently. Being in the beauty industry, my appearance and engagement with others is very important. Teeth/smile play a very big role in that. I was referred to this office by a client of mine. Given my past experiences that were nothing short of awful, coupled with my having AFIB... dental procedures are not such a priority to me. However, immediately from the phone call, everything ran so smoothly. The staff was already very familiar with my insurance. They sent all the first time patient Paperwork via email prior to my first visit. All of this making my day at the Dentist all the less stressful. Upon meeting Dr. Abdullah, I immediately felt like I was in good hands. Naturally I expected a little judgment for not staying on top of my dental health. There was none of that. She explained to me short term goals as well as long term, “I’m your Dentist now”! It was super refreshing. I felt like we were in it together. We began with replacing old mercury fillings with nice, new white ones. She replaced 4 and re filled all in just 45 minutes! I was AMAZED! She provided me with a heart sensitive anesthetic. I felt nothing!!! After 36 years I FINALLY had a pleasurable experience at the Dentist! To find a Dentist who is not only thorough, but speedy... is such a rarity. Her staff has worked with my insurance and was able to get even more of the procedures covered than originally anticipated. The office is clean, everyone is so friendly and there’s parking. I’ve been back a few times now and I want to shout to the world how great this place is! HIGHLY recommend!

My son had his 4 wisdom teeth pulled. He is 16 and was very scared. When he came out he said the dentist was very very good. He said his hands were steady (lol), but also that he made sure my son felt comfortable the whole time, also the dentist was training an assistant who had never done extractions before and he said he was very detailed with her and making sure she understood everything. Basically it was the best experience he could’ve asked for.

The Hamacha Dental is Great! And I loved it. Everything is fantastic! I loved all the people who worked there and the lady her name is Lena who works in reception that takes an apionments shes really really nice and very sweet lady she so beautiful inside and out!!! I went in for my semi annual cleaning and exam. The dentist literally pressed in between my teeth with a pick and then flossed me. A tech then came in to apply fluoride - a $25 out of pocket charge. That was the sum total of my cleaning. I went home to floss myself as she didnt do a good job at that. My husband was seen separately and came out asking if he would be getting a cleaning. We were both shocked as a thorough cleaning is what we both look forward to at our visits. As for the rest of the visit, both my husband and I were diagnosed with numerous cavities and advised to do some dental procedures. We both have regular follow up our dentists and have never been told of any of these issues. Needless to say, we have to get second opinions. They do boast about having a very good xray, which may well be the case. In short, staff was pleasant, dont expect a cleaning, probably the best place if you have dental issues the xray should pick up everything.

All around great dentists working at this place ! Multiple root canals done as well as crowns and i am no longer in pain whatsoever, whenever you get a root canal you think its going to very painful. Dr. Mina and her husband Dr. Al ensured me all they provide is painless dentistry and its true ! I would recommend this place to anyone who needs a great dentist !

I was referred here to get my wisdom teeth extracted and was naturally nervous for the procedure. Dr. Al was very transparent about the state of my teeth, what risks were involved, and wanting to give me the best options. After purchasing a 3D scan to better analyze the state of my bottom teeth he gave me the option to go see a specialist since my bottom teeth were close to the nerve or to allow him to just extract all four then and there. I was hesitant to get two done at the time and then two later so I asked him a couple questions to see how confident/qualified he felt to do it and he had no hesitation that he could do it, as he has done the procedure with teeth close to the nerves a couple hundred times before. Thus, I felt confident enough to just go ahead and trust him to do all four.I felt no pain during the procedure! Not even for all six injections I received. Dr. Al was very attentive and always checking in to make sure I had no pain. I’m thankful for such a smooth procedure & Dr. Al’s patience, especially with my bottom teeth being stubborn to come out & giving us a hard time.Now I’m just healing post-surgery, definitely not the most comfortable experience, but bearable with proper care.Thanks Dr. Al!

Ive had many dental procedures with no problems and little pain, but the 2 I had here were the most horrific experiences of my life. I had broken a front tooth around Xmas, after the extraction which was more painful than the birth of my 3 kids combined, they forgot to put in a request to insurance for the bridge. Then forgot to call me when it was available. Ive looked like a hillbilly for 5 months, not acceptable. Thought they were oral surgeons come to find out thats not the case. The second extraction, again horrifically painful and I was made to feel like that was some how MY fault!? The pain medicine prescribed didnt even come close to easing the pain I endured the following week. Not a good experience at all. Front office staff was very professional, sweet bunch, but thats all this office has going for them.

This is my second time here and my first time working with Dr. Mina’s husband, Dr. Al. I was getting a root canal done and was very nervous because I knew it was going to take a while. He did a wonderful job at making me feel comfortable (they allowed me to pick a movie to watch on the TV in my room and I picked Home Alone 2 hehe). He continuously kept checking in with me throughout the procedure to make sure I was doing fine. It’s been almost a week since my root canal and my tooth no longer bothers me, YAY. I felt zero pain during the root canal and will definitely continue on coming here for future work. Thank you docs!!

I was very impressed with the friendliness of the entire staff, and especially the thoroughness, care, and concern for my comfort from the Doctors. Both of my appointments began on time, or even before the scheduled hour. The Doctors did not waste a moment of my time, and necessary follow-up appointments were scheduled immediately. My teeth have never looked or felt cleaner. Yesterday, Dr. Abdullah filled three cavities for me. The procedure was absolutely painless, and I couldnt be more pleased with the results.

I Was initially referred to Jamacha Dental for a Molar to be extracted. I was greeted by a kind, friendly Dentist named Dr Abdullah. Much to my pleasure, it was painless and the Dr made sure of that by checking on me throughout. I have since had several procedures done, including an Implant. I felt comforted knowing I was receiving the best care possible. Dr Abdullah and Dr Alkaseer are highly skilled,professional and take the time to care and explain the procedures.That means a lot. Simply the best. My wife and I have both gone here and over the course 3 months they have completely restored my wife’s very problematic teeth. She had numerous problems which included root canals, crowns and many fillings on the front as well as back teeth. All of this has been handled in such a timely manner and professional manner, not only that but it looks great. Also they handled everything with the insurance. The staff are so friendly and the work so thorough and well done that you would have to be crazy to go anywhere else. I cannot recommend them highly enough, they will change your experience with dentists.

My sister goes to this dentist so she recommended them to me. I am grateful she did! I have two very positive experiences with them.The first experience I had with Jamacha Dental was because of a toothache. The front receptionist who took my call was very helpful and concerned. She got me an appointment scheduled in a few days. Later that day she called me because someone canceled their appointment and I was able to take that spot, I thought that was above and beyond and was so grateful. Dr. Alkaseer and his assistant were super helpful and made sure I was comfortable. They let me ask a lot of questions, I have a lot of teeth problems and have been screwed in the past. I am very wary. Dr. Alkaseer knows his stuff! I had to have a tooth pulled and a build-up for a possible implant. The numbing, extraction, build up and sutures were painless. He often stopped to ask if I was ok, or how I was doing. Also, they worked with my insurance and were very transparent about the cost.This was my second experience with Jamacha Dental, and why I will never go elsewhere if I can help it! This past weekend, Easter Sunday, during the COVID-19 pandemic, I got a horrid toothache. I called their office to see if I could leave a message since it was Sunday and I didnt even know if they closed their offices totally because of the COVID-19 fiasco. To my surprise, Dr. Mina Abdullah picked up the phone! Most other dentists are slow to respond when there is no pandemic. She was incredibly concerned and helpful! I was able to get an emergency appointment the next day! And as Sunday progressed, the pain got unbearable and I was able to call her again. She called in a prescription for the pain so that I was able to get through the night. She also checked on me later that night via text! The next day, they took X-Rays and found the culprit. A tooth under my bridge was causing the pain. They were able to cut the bridge and pull that tooth. Dr. Alkaseer made sure I was numb and comfortable the whole time. It was really a quick and painless procedure.I would fully recommend Jamacha Dental. Everyone in that office is helpful and really cares about the patients. The most AWESOME group of people working under one roof!! Ellen at the front desk completely saved me the other morning when I popped out a filling! And the dental assistant was great, she knows what shes doing, not like she had gone to the overnight, youll be a dental assistant school. From check in to my extraction this was the best dental visit I’ve had my whole 33 years the dentist was efficient n gentle. I will b back for my kids check up and cleanings. Don’t ever go there! I wasted about an hour and 15 minutes there then they refused my service. I asked dr. Al kaseer to do the panoramic rays instead of the X-ray to do the cleaning ONLY but she refused to do it for me for some reason! And she insisted to do the X-rays, this is a really horrible place to go. I don’t recommend anyone to go there and for sure they deserve one star review.

Over 27 years I’ve gone from dentist to dentist, hoping one day I’d land a dentist that was just that, an amazing dentist that does their job the right way while still keeping the patient comfortable. After some time I thought I’d never find that one in a million dentist, I lost complete hope in finding a dentist I like, until I met Dr.Abdullah at Jamacha Dental, her & the dentist assistant Mercedes make such a great team & they make sure that you are fine at all times. I have a fear of pain from the dentist & with them I felt no pain & they always asked if I was ok. I for the first time at a dentist wanted them to just keep working on my teeth because of how comfortable I was, & this is all coming from someone who is absolutely petrified of the dentist. The office is a very clean, & adorably decorated, with a calm setting. Dr.Abdullah is my favorite dentist that I have ever had, I don’t want another dentist to ever work on my teeth unless that dentist is Dr.Abdullah. Mercedes, the dental assistant, was a very nice girl, she went above & beyond to make sure I was doing alright at all times, she constantly was asking if everything was ok with me. She was extra careful when doing her part, & I couldn’t appreciate that enough. I highly recommend Jamacha dental, all of San Diego needs to know about such an amazing dentist. I thank everyone on the Jamacha Dental team for making my experience the best dentist experience I have ever had.

First and foremost, I was referred to the business from my insurer. That in and of itself can be a very scary thought.Mind you, I did have my reservations about the rating initially and then when I began to dig a bit deeper... I realized that this is new management with great reviews taking over another with TERRIBLE reviews.Sooo, I called and spoke to Raghad, the front office manager on a Wednesday and got an appointment 2 days later Friday morning! Pretty cool!I went into the office, was greeted kindly and told the woman I had a 9 oclock and Im here for the first time. She looked at the schedule and said, it looks like your appointment is at 11...then she said.. sorry for the mix up.. lets have you fill out the forms.. and see if we can get you in..After filling the forms out, I probably waited no more than 7 minutes and they took me back to get some x-rays with a nice young lady that took very good and careful impressions of my teeth. She was very professional and went step by step with each new x-ray... letting me know how many are left.Then the dentist kindly introduced himself and looked over the x-rays and said everything that is needed based on the x-rays and confirmed what was needed after carefully looking into my mouth.He was very thorough in his diagnosis and explanation of my teeth which was appreciated.I was then introduced to the other dentist that was going to begin with my cleaning. Very nice woman and engaged in conversation with me about the new practice they have and the mission she is on to revitalize the office from the former Dentists terrible reviews.She proceeded to give me my cleaning and came out with some nice new chompers for the weekend. :)I have to get some more work done and scheduled myself. And after having such a great experience initially, I really wanted to let everyone know.. sometimes you need to look deeper into why they reviews are the way the are.. and in this case.. Im SOO GLAD I DID!I will expand on this when I see them next week as well to keep you all updated!Ps. I will add some photos next time I visit!

Was referred here for emergency root canals as my partner was in horrible pain after a bridge placement. They did nothing! They said 14 days they called with an approval which they did not send in till 14 days after he was seen. He didnt get a call back for 30 days! Pain and 2 needed root canals horrible service I would find another place that can help if you are in an emergency situation!

Really bad experience start with the procedure that I had to extracted tooth and when I got home I felt this part of the tooth left in the gum I go back to the doctor and he said theres nothing then I had to get another doctor to get it out, and his front desk people really really rude, in short they are prejudice against the Chaldean community in El Cajon City. Find different doctor and dont end up sorry.
