Don’t go here unless you want unnecessary dental work that will cost you thousands of dollars and your dental health. I got a root canal here two years ago and they missed two roots. I went back complaining of pain post root canal and they told me “ you can’t have any pain in that tooth you don’t have any roots left” - turns out they missed two roots in the tooth and I had to get retreated by another dentist. Flash forward to a few months ago and they told me I needed two more root canals on teeth that had very minimal sensitivity. I got TWO second opinions and was told I don’t need any root canals but have sensitivity from an old filling. Both qualified dentists told me to never go back to this place as they OVERTREAT their patients for profit. What a terrible business and it’s a shame to call them a “healthcare provider.”

Stop giving rds your money. Get a second opinion and you will find that you dont need anything they are trying to sell your. And they are ignoring your cavities.

After getting a second opinion, I found out that, out of the 4 teeth they intended to pull only two were necessary to be pulled and another could be repaired. The dentist provided no procedure details or options. Additionally they are overpriced, and didnt return my calls for additional information. I do not recommend this business.

Don’t go here unless you want to be scammed! They tried to charge me $7,000 on a tooth that they said needed a root canal after charging me another $2,000 for one that did NOT need work. I got a second and third opinion on the “root canal tooth” and they said it was just a bad cavity that needed a filling for $100. They lie to you and try to overprice everything do NOT trust them please!!! I would recommend getting a second opinion if you go here and they try to charge you more than needed.

I dont know here to begin...I am an RN in the emergency room, so i appreciate quality healthcare professionals, and RSD Dental Groups staff fall nothing short of amazing, and caring Healthcare professionals that specialize in the mouth!I left the appointment educated about dentistry (did you know there are 5 types of cleanings?!! - mind blown), given my costs based up on my unique insurance plan, and was even able to start a crown i needed that day! They understand that its so necessary to maximize time especially during these times of minimal interactions being crucial to the safety of all.They gave me payment options so that i could not compromise my quality of care and not break the bank account at the same time, I appreciate their comprehensive care under one roof, and the lengths they go for their patients. Ive already referred 3 coworkers and all my friends and family.Im so glad i found an office that I the people are authentic, caring, and do quality work. These days thats as precious as Diamond.

TAKING FOREVER. They also like to sell you things you don’t need, and try to talk it up like all your teeth are rotting so you pay them a bunch of money. They are rude when you ask them why it is taking so long as well with no apology. A simple cleaning turns into a 3 hour appointment.

I WOULD NEVER RETURN NOR RECOMMEND THIS DENTAL PRACTICE TO ANYONE. STAFF COULD USE SOME TRAINING ON HOW TO BE PROFESSIONAL. OFFICE MANAGER ADAM IS A FAILURE. THE LEAD DOCTOR PERFORMED MY EXAM AFTER REVIEWING MY X-RAYS, NO HANDS ON DURING MY EXAM. DID NOT UTILIZE THE DENTAL BASIC SET UP TO PERFORM A MOUTH EXAM AT ALL. BASICALLY JUST TOLD ME OF ALL THE WORK THAT I NEED, AND BEFORE TURNING ME OVER TO THE TREATMENT COORDINATOR (ADAM) WHOM QUOTED ME OVER $20,000.00 OF DENTAL WORK, THE DOCTOR ASSURED ME WHATEVER I CHOOSE IS WHAT SHE WILL DO. AFTER RECEIVING MY QUOTE, I CHOSE THE CHEAPER OF THE HIGHEST EXPENSE THEN ASKED TO SPEAK BACK WITH THE DOCTOR WHO DIAGNOSED MY DENTAL CARE, SHE RETURNS TO THE ROOM IMMEDIATELY OBJECTING TO MY CHOICE OF PLAN. STATING THAT SHE DID NOT DEEM IT A GOOD IDEA TO REPLACE METAL FOR METAL I CURRENTLY HAVE IN MY MOUTH. WELL...I RECALL HER TELLING ME WHATEVER I WANTED TO DO!!!???. HMMMM?? THAT DIDNT SIT WELL WITH ME! THE INITIAL EXAM WAS FREE AS I WERE TOLD. THEN LATER I RECEIVE A BILL IN THE MAIL IN COST MUCH OVER THE AMOUNT THEIR NEW PATIENT INITIAL EXAMS USUALLY ARE!! I CONTACTED THE OFFICE REGARDING BILL. I WAS TOLD (BY ADAM SILVA) IT WAS AN ERROR AND CORRECTED. I THEN REQUESTED A STATEMENT MAILED TO ME SHOWING SUCH INFORMATION. WELL THAT TOO BECAME AN ISSUE. IT RENDERED ME AN INSULT AND A HANGING UP IN MY FACE DURING MY BUSINESS CALL TO THE OFFICE (BY NON OTHER THAN ADAM SILVA) DUE TO ME RECEIVING A SOMEWHAT BLANK PIECE OF PAPER BY MAIL NOT DETAILING THE FEES I WERE CHARGED NOR THE CORRECTIONS MADE. TO THIS DAY, I HAVE NOT RECEIVED WHAT I REQUESTED. IT IS SUCH A LOSS TO HAVE A (WEAK LINK) WHOM SUPPOSEDLY ARE THE LEADER OVER THE OFFICE TO BEHAVE IN THIS MANOR. THEY CERTAINLY LACK PEOPLE RELATIONS SKILLS.

Well I can see why the ratings started going down.. they started as an “okay” dentist office at best (just because I liked my dentist) then once she left I was done with them. Super unresponsive and when I finally decided to leave and requested my xrays, they never sent them to me even after authorizing them to. Clearly doesn’t care about keeping patients so see ya later, down the street at Rancho San Diego Dental they’re seriously awesome, glad I made the switch (not an ad, they’re way better).

I have only great things to say about Dr. Tran. She is an expert who always has my best interests in mind. She goes out of the way to make sure I am taken care of and has really helped me as my teeth are not strong and need a lot of TLC. If you want a dentist that is excellent and compassionate, I really recommend Dr. Tran. I have been her patient for over 8 years and wish I would have found her sooner!

As previously mentioned, they are very unprofessional when it comes to honoring appointments. I was scheduled for 3:30 PM and was not seen until 5:10 PM. When I was actually seen, the dentist was rushing and put in a quick referral to see an oral surgeon. She never once consulted and was in the room for less than 3 minutes.I have never felt so undervalued as a patient. I had a similar experience back in 2012 at this location but decided to give them a second chance. I regret that decision.A few years ago, they claimed that I had a total of 8 cavities and wanted to fill all of them. I went across the street to another Rancho San Diego Dentistry and they advised me not to do it because my teeth were still very healthy and the drilling would only do more harm than good.In my sincere opinion, this dentistry cares more about the bottom line than their patients. I will never step foot in their office and will vow to tell everyone I know to follow in my footsteps.

Have been going here for a couple of years, and besides being up charged for random services, they take way too long to get started. Today, my appointment was at 2:30 and it is now 4:00 and they still have yet to touch my teeth for a routine, 15-minute cleaning appointment. What’s the point of having an appointment if they aren’t going to respect it? Don’t go here if you want your teeth cleaned promptly and professionally.

Going here during the novel covid-19 pandemic was my first mistake. Dr. Tran was rude and tried to sale me on the idea I needed an implant on a back tooth that totaled over $5000. When I tried to discuss other options Dr. Pushy (Tran) became irate and so disrespectful that it tempted me to respond in kind, but I didnt want too waste any more time or energy. She claimed I needed antibiotics but that changed and she said I would get them later (next week)? I didnt trust her, theyre clearly only interested in performing the most expensive procedure and they lack integrity and transparency. JUST DONT GO! Ive been treated better at Western Dental! Eventually I just got up and left after the guy from the front desk kept calling her back to talk to me over and over again.

Both of our children (5 and 7 years old) LOVE having their teeth cleaned at this office! Everyone is so helpful and amazing. Neither of my children have been afraid since we started coming to this office, and for that I am thankful. My daughter is starting her orthodontics journey and the orthodontist was amazing at explaining what she will need and also that her problem is very common and will be an easy fix! Cant wait to return for future visits and I may even start going to this office as well! :)

I like my office visit! Liked Dr Patricia. Liked the color digital xrays! Explained treatment plan well wish my insurance would cover more to get my treatment needed done! Upgraded dental office for the whole family!

Absolute worst dental experience of my life and not because of the dentist! Dr. Lam was an amazing dentist who took a lot of time explaining my procedure and options. However, the billing department is an absolute nightmare to deal with. I was charged thousands of dollars for a covered procedure because they incorrectly billed (and didnt bill for all services provided)...now six months later I am still waiting on my refund. No luck, I now have to file the claim directly with the insurance company and hope for a reimbursement. Many attempts to contact them and wait for a call back with some positive news...no luck. It is a shame because the dental providers are great, but I cant afford to pay out of pocket when I have two dental insurance companies. What a joke the billing department is. To top it off I am having pain from the procedure done six months ago, but will going to another provider to avoid the dysfunction of the office staff.

Stay Away!!!! Always trying to sell you more dental work. Long waits. One dentist yelled at me after a procedure. Must pay while in the office.
