Ive been going for years and had good experiences. Went for a 0930 appt on Monday 13 Sep and the building was locked. Hours of operation on Mondays are 0930. Waited for 10 min called and left a voicemail. No response or call back. Lights were on and doors still locked at 0940 Left and likely will not return. Posting this as the only communication i have received are 2 texts requesting a review

They work hard, patient. Just dont come in with an attitude. Be a decent human to these folks. After all they are the ones with sharp objects in your mouth.:)

The staff and dental team is very cordial. Beware they only have one dentist for major work. I came here, because its close and I am over 60. You can drive after the anesthetics and they work if your tooth is not an infected crown and double injection wont make a difference. The removal will hurt! After the removal the injection sites hurt more than the tooth hole area. So, maybe I need a more gentle dentist if dentistry can be a gentle approach for seniors. IDK

I had to cancel my appointment because I would not be off in time .. I called them as soon as I could and now I am be charged 50 dollars for canceling and not giving a 24 hours notice.. this appointment was for Monday evening I didnt know that on Sunday I would not be able to make it .. so is it better to just not show up or to give a heads up that you wont be there ... I will be looking for a new dentist..

I really like the people working at east county family dental. They r super friendly and helped with my anxiety (dentist scares me). Thanks for fixing my teeth!!!!! U guys r the best!!!

Every time we go there, it takes a long time and they move you from room to room. Spent 3 hours for a routine crown. Tells us every time that someone else needs care that’s more important even though I have an appt. Every time. Did it to my wife also. People there work hard and this isn’t a reflection on them. They seem as wore out as me. Not often I leave reviews like this.

Just had my first visit. Very businesslike and too the point. Provided options for my work and were able to get started right away. Seemed a bit confusing at times who was assisting Dr Jared but all staff was very friendly and helpful. I have many more visits coming and look forward to working with this group.

Dr. Jared and staff have always been so polite and welcoming. Never a long wait when Im there. Ive been going there a little over 3 years now and I love it.

This was the dentist assigned by my children’s insurance. My dentist instructed me to bring them for an exam when I asked her a question about my son’s teeth but the children’s insurance doesn’t cover her, so I was forced to bring them to this office. The office staff took their birthdate when I made the appointment. When I arrived, the office staff told me they were too young and looked at me like I was crazy when I told them that the person who made the appointment took down their birthday. (Appointment was in mid 2021 and their birthday is in early 2020). The dentist said to try to do X-rays and an exam and he’s refer us to a pediatric dentist if necessary. The twins didn’t cooperate for X-rays and when I asked about a referral, the staff printed a google page for a pediatric dentist near my house and sent me away. Maybe the dentist is good, I don’t know since he didn’t even attempt to examine them but the office staff is incompetent and I could tell that from the first phone call. I had hoped my first impressions were wrong but alas, I would not want any of those girls working for me. I will never go back.

I am very happy with the way the people treat me. They are very nice and very friendly. The quality of the product is excellent. I would recommend them highly.

All staff and oral surgeons were on point !!! So far I am happy with results. Still ongoing with implants. Overall satisfied.

The day I was there apparently two people didnt show up for work. I can understand that but to have the dentist start talking about extraction of a tooth before an x-ray or any type of exam was done made me nervous. I left.

Left me waiting in a room for 45 minutes before I walked out without receiving my scheduled service, one that was only scheduled because the dentist went on lunch break during my appt the day before without finishing what he was doing with my teeth. Also took 20 minutes in the X-ray chair for my son very first dentist experience because head dentist kept calling the hygienist out to help him with another patient and then yelled at my son for sitting on a chair because the chair moved slightly when he climbed up to sit down and proceeded to kick him out of the room and wait alone because he was “playing” on his equipment. (He was literally just trying to sit down)

This dentist office is extremely unprofessional. It took them 7 office visits to put in a standard crown. They chipped it, “misplaced it”, one didn’t fit right. You get what you pay for here. They also were having issues with Dentical and fraud, I think they’re currently being investigated. The evening front desk lady Shyanne? and the guy who does the billing Caesar? were also very rude.

Unprofessional, fraudulent money minded practice, when I called to schedule an appointment an asked if contracted with my sons dental insurance the lady over the phone confirmed Yes, contracted, and gave me same day appointment, great! I thought. To my surprise after going thru all registration paperwork Ceasar the front desk receptionist tried to get a huge out of pocket copay. I tried explaining this had never happened before, my sons covered, however he became extremely rude and went on to say This is a private practice and this is how we work.!😟

Been going here for a few years now, I have not had any problems with the staff or doctor. They have always been friendly to me. It’s easy and simple to make an appointment, go in and get my cleaning done. The doctor is pretty straightforward about what is going on with my teeth and the best solution for it.

They lost my previous file, had to fill out additional paperwork and couldnt or wouldnt perform the procedure. Very disappointed

Im always scared of the dentist.. Went to them with a mouth full of serious issues. Compared to my last dentist that I had for 10 years plus, they showed me a clean and sanitary experience. They made a plan to fix everything. It will be a few month process. Showed me how my last dentist let issues slide and into danger zone for me. If I would have stayed at my last dentist I would lose all my teeth. All issues that were never brought up before. TMJ, and so much more. Got a crown from them for a much less cost of most and the cleanliness and detailed exams made all the difference in the world for me. Things my last dentist neverrr mentioned! All good reviews from me!!! I am so happy I made the switch! I was terrified to do so, but I am thankful I did! Thank you Ceasar! You actually made me feel comfortable with going to the dentist for once in my life! The waiting time at appts are kind of long, but I am happy to wait to make sure I have good and honest dentists!

Did a horrible job on my root canal now it’s seriously infected and on my last visit he also told me that I would be needing another root canal for another tooth. Well today was my first appointment with my new dentist and she assured me my teeth are fine except his faulty horrible work. Please do yourself a favor and stay far away.

4/19/18: I walked away feeling intimidated and even violated after my second appointment with these people. Extremely terrible bedside manner by the people that are supposed to care for one of the most personal parts of your body. Dr. George and Rose Jared seem to be the leads at this site with lots of assistants in between that were the only decent people on this site.George Jared handled my first appointment and did the initial cleaning. He didn’t have the best bedside manner. It was just an ‘open your mouth and let me do my thing while I talk about you with my assistant’ type of experience. At the end, he just started walking away and told me I have a follow up appointment for a deep cleaning. There wasn’t any detail on my treatment plan or follow up, other than come in again.At my second appointment was when I had an experience no client should have with the female dentist in the facility. After having three or four assistants walk in and out of the room performing different tasks, she finally walks in. Oh yeah, George had come in previously with injections and I had to stop him and ask him what he was going to do, because apparently he wasn’t going to tell me. You should inform your nervous clients about each step you’re going to take. But what do I know? I didn’t go to dental school.Back to the female. She starts going with my mouth and she is talking to the assistant about me as if I wasn’t there. Yeah there’s tartar. He needs to clean better. Etc. I got a talking to without getting a chance to find out more. When finally they were done and I had control of my mouth again, I did stop her from quickly walking away. I asked “what do you mean there’s more tartar?” She exhaled and her shoulders went down, then she gave me a look as if I had just asked what’s a toothbrush? She looked completely put out and as if I was the dumbest person in the world. She quickly just told me to hold my toothbrush at a different angle and that I wasn’t doing a good job. I felt so belittled and chastised.With that, I was left there standing as If I had just spit all over her smock. I didn’t even get direction that they were done. I had to ask an assistant so as to know to go to the front desk. At the front desk I was told I had a follow up appointment to do the other side...How did I NOT know they had to clean my other side as well??I got in my car and all I wanted to do was cry. Being treated by dentists can be some of the most intimidating experiences a person can go through. Then to top off my experience I ask my dental care professional for guidance on next steps and what I get is a humiliating experience. I shouldn’t walk away from a dental appointment feeling this way.Finding a dentist is hard, but I hope if you’ve read this far I can give you the easy choice to erase this one from your list.Update: someone representing them did call me to figure out how they could convince me to change my review for the better. I told them the best thing they can do is start treating patients better so they may be compelled to speak up about how good their practice has become. Act differently so that my review no longer matters.

The doctor was the rudest person ever to me, my little brother, and my mother. Go anywhere but here. Never had anyone disrespect us like this in our entire lives.

I give this dental office a 5 star. The welcoming and friendly staff will make you feel at home. There are multi-lingual assistance that will guide you every step of the way. They also offer variety of options and help on your financing needs. And most important, the dentists and dental hygienists are the best. Have been going here for years now, have had multiple teeth cleanings and fillings etc.the staff has always been kind of rude and gossipy, but the doctors are the worst.After coming in with a tooth infection (on a tooth that already had a root canal that was preformed by dr Jared, and left uncapped/not crowned) the lady doctor came in and proceeded to smack my infected tooth with a metal surgical tool; resulting in me leaving there crying with a prescription for antibiotics.My father goes to the same dentist, and after getting a consultation for a root canal, Dr. Jared upped his original price by $500 telling my dad where the nearest ATM was, my dad with a massive toothache complied and handed him the cash. Dr. Jared took the money and put it in his pocket and did not give my father a receipt for the procedure or change!I’ve gotten plenty of work here without being charged because my insurance covers the work; suddenly I’m being charged $151 for filling a cavity (no change of insurance) after expressing my concerns and saying they’re charging an arm and a leg and not going through insurance, the office manager kicked me out before my appointment and had me make a new appointment after I called and told them kicking out a patient was against the Hippocratic oath, the office manager also told me that they have lawyers when I wanted to complain. 3 days later I received a letter in the mail stating they cannot see me anymore due to me not following their directions?Dr. Jared will argue with you about the level of pain you’re in, tell you you’re wrong, and then finally accept that you actually have a tooth infection but not before telling you it’s your fault!If you love terrible doctors, horrible pushy staff, and being overcharged for the doctors financial gain then I would definitely recommend this place.

I have a great Smile because of them. They took the time to listen to my problem and gave me the smile that Ive always wanted. Im 57 years young and I receive so many compliments on my smile. Thank you Dr George and to the whole staff. You made me feel comfortable and for a dentist,, not to many people can say that!!!

Came here at least 30 times over the past couple years. Never liked this place but was getting the work done so just dealt with it. Far as i know i never missed an appointment until recently. Only after they called and cancelled and rescheduled on me 3 times in a week. Not the first time theyve done this to me. So i try come in to see what can be done and they schedule me just fine but when i get there they try and get me to fork over 65$ out of pocket even though my insurance covers everythingng and ive never paid a cent out of pocket. Never agreed to that. Then when i say no thanks i cant pay she tries to get me for another 50$ out of pocket for canceling. Seems they are very cash hungry right now. Would never recommend this place to anyone in need of a dentist .evryone saying how the doc and others here belittle you about how you care for you teeth is true they did it to me pretty much everytime i went it got to the point of me just agreeing with whatever they said cuz they dont wanna listen.

First time going there I had to have partials made. Went back numerous times to have them adjusted but no luck and finally gave up. The person that was working at the time was no help at all. Thank goodness he is no longer there. But this time I went back for full dentures. Never fit right, but now they want to charge for a relining that is not needed since I havent been able to wear them from the last time they were reclined.

Dr Jared and his entire staff are THE BEST. I had LOTS of problems when I first came to Dr Jared. Gums with deep pockets, chipped teeth from old fillings. He told me what NEEDED to be done and over the next few months he did it all. My gums now have pockets with low single digits. I floss with no problems. Another thing I liked about EAST COUNTY FAMILY DENTAL CENTER was the fact that not once was there any UP SELLING in this office. I always had the feeling Dr Jared was more concerned about me and my well being then his bottom line. The whole office is that way. I had contact with everyone from Joy at the front desk to Fernando fitting my bridges and everyone in between. Dr Jared first question to me, and my wife who went to him first, was “are you in any pain right now?”, and all through each procedure that was his biggest concern. This is the first Dentist in my close to 7 decades on this planet that I DON’T FEAR GOING TO. I’m now one of those people I always found odd because, like them, I now LOVE MY Dentist.

Dr. Jared should not be allowed to treat children! He made my sons fear of the dentist SO much worse. And as a mom both times we went there were my worst nightmare! The other staff were supportive and understanding during our visits. However any time I needed any paperwork or they said they’d call me back they never did, I had to call them multiple times in order to get paperwork sent and referral information.

From the doctor to his back clinic staff were so unprofessional. Gossipping and during my procedure, doctor had anger and sarcastic behaviors. Also, yelling to his staff.Front desk staff was the only professional and polite.

Some years ago I was on medical and chose to go to this dentist because its near my house I went in there and cannot believe how the place is ran.... if you absolutely hate someone and want to give them a nightmare dentist experience send them to this place!!! Although I liked how thorough the doctor was he poked my gums and jammed his piece of metal into very sensitive places and just told me it is my fault for not taking care of my teeth it was like being tortured with a terrible human hovering over you!! I was kind of scared going in because of how he was yelling at his assistance and then I was surprised he was actually yelling at some of his patients this place needs to be closed down it is majorly majorly malpracticed....BTW the only good review seems to come from somebody who works there!!

The staff and office personnel are great. I have never been to a more friendly, patient oriented dental office/environment. They really know their business and work to please their patients. ATTENTION, ATTENTION, ATTENTION, if you want to be treated poorly and inhuman, go a head and go to this office, they have the worst attitude ever especially the front desk, she is so ghetto i think she grow up in the hoods, very poor customer service as well as the dentist needs some updates about dentistry, i will never ever go back to this place, now the 2 star average make sense, AVOID THIS PLACE
