Front desk Indian lady is very rude. They will never help you. The doctor over there give my son an asthma inhaler. We just need the doctor sign on the asthma plan form so that the nurse at Irving school can take care of son. They will never answer the phone and leave you on hold forever. So we went to the urgent care first day. The front desk said doctor is not there and ask us to come back. We come back the next day. The front desk said the doctor cannot sign the form and told us the form should be signed by his pediatrician. Then, the pediatrician told me the form should be signed by the doctor at the urgent care. I call urgent care at 7pm. The front desk said she will checked again next morning. I called again the next morning. The front desk said she will check for me and call me back. I never heard back. Then I call them again, the front desk use the old way to hanging up. “ call me back”! Please call me back! Please help me to check with the doctor! It is just a signature. It’s already been four days! Now you know how hard it is to ask them for help ! You just want to make money!

I would recommend based on my experience with my daughter who needed a physical to return to school. Nurse did a wonderful job drawing blood. Seems organized, not a long wait either compared to others in the area.

Urgent care of edison is the best care in edison. I have been visiting them for last 7 years whenever I had need. Dr Aziz and other doctors and staff are very professional and helpful. Certainly give them 5 out of 5.

I want to bring it to the attention of the people this advertisement it not right if you live in New Jersey and you want to go to this facility in Edison it only takes Medicare it doesnt take the state if you have Medicaid it doesnt take that you should know that and they do not print that out and people go there without knowing and they refuse working on people I feel that they shouldnt advertise in New York let them advertised in New Jersey theres a lot of people that work and live in New Jersey and think they can go there only if you have Medicare or something saying that you can go either or New Jersey or New York be careful dont get full like I did......

Horrible experience. Doctor on shift was fighting with his staff over hours the entire time. Waited a while in waiting room to be seen. Nurses were great they helped me out. When I went to get my prescription an hour later at Walgreens, they told me no one called it in. I had to call the doctors office to remind them to call my prescription in. Terrible experience. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place. Whoever owns this practice should be embarrassed of himself. Instead he was fighting with his nurses telling them his shift should have ended at 2.

Dr. Khalid Aziz has stated to me during my appointment, “Men do not get anxiety”. He also employs PAs that really are careless and act annoyed at their patient’s concerns. In addition, I had a painful stomach ulcer confirmed by lab reports conducted by this facility; the staff never informed me of this. It wasn’t until I was in staggering pain and revisited, that the staff realized they had forgotten to inform me of my positive H. Pylori test for over a month. Dr. Aziz is a terrible overseas physician lacking the contemporary knowledge and medicinal science to perform his duties, really.

The worst. Staff Doctor flooded my ear with irrigation and now I have a severe middle ear infection and can barely hear from one ear. She may have nicked it with metal instrument. I am miserable and hope I can hear again soon. Most awful experience. I was able to hear when I went in for blood work, and now I cannot. Went to my own doc and on antibiotics now hoping no damage.

I was there on Sunday they took the sample for Covid19, feet had some of the symptoms. And it turns out that they do not give me the results but they sent the sample to LabCorp and it has already been three days and I still have no information. with that particular result you shouldnt wait. They were very nice but they dont follow up on the tests they do on you

Dr. Aziz was great! He took great care of my wound, very professional and gentle and quick. Had a great experience. Staff was quick as well and took all the proposer COVID precautions.

Waited days for my Covid test results and to my surprise, they bill my insurance $561 and then fluff the charges. this place should be investigated. Ive done 4 other COVID test, and the average cost was $138. And this doctor was very unprofessional. he was swearing and screaming with patients in the facility waiting. The ladies at the front desk were very pleasant tho. they deserve better

Absolutely the worst medical experience I ever had. Not only did I not get the proper help, their staff members are unfriendly and their billing department is inefficient. The front desk workers are unaware of co-pays, insurance coverage, etc and will say you are covered when you actually owe them payments. Do yourself a favor and NEVER GO HERE :)

My first time at Urgent Care it NJ went smoothly and seamlessly. Of course there is a longer wait than usual as we all know Covid cases are on the rise. All of the staff was courteous and accommodating, Taylor went above and beyond trying to make my family’s visit as easy as possible. I would recommend coming early in the morning as they do reach capacity mid afternoon.

AVOID THIS FACILITYI never post reviews but I felt that I had to say something being a medical professional myself. I have never had a worst experience in my life.The staff member at the front desk was EXTREMELY rude. I politely asked if the staff member at the front desk could verify the phone number I provided as I was waiting for over 2 hours outside to be treated. The staff member yelled at me stating she does not have time to get asked these questions. She continued to say that every time someone asks her a question she gets backed up and seemed to blame me for the issues she was having at the facility.After witnessing the staff having several arguments at the front desk amongst one another, I can tell the facility is just poorly run. Patients should avoid this facility at all costs and visit either the ER or another facility.Being a medical professional myself, I would never in my life ever speak to a patient that way and make them seem like they are part of the problem. It sounds like this facility really needs to train their staff members on how to speak to patients.I dont mind waiting over 2 hours to wait to be treated. Not only are they the sweetest. They made sure I was taken care of. I flipped my finger (pinky) back while pushing a cushion in my couch & my nail lifted from the nail bed. I was in the worst pain. They were careful not to try & cause more. They took an xray to make sure my finger wasnt broken & put a little finger brace on. I think theyre great & Ill be visiting, if Im in urgent need of care, God forbid that happens.

When i came to this facility the front desk were super busy but made sure to get me registered! there was a wait but granted there was a line wrapped around the building since 8 am, probably about 50 people alone outside in line, so that is expected. doctor aziz is the best super friendly, during this pandemic it’s hard for any urgent care to make up a system so fast and accommodate everyone but i know this urgent care cares about their patients and works super hard! sanitized everything before i signed electronically and let me sit in the car to wait instead of sitting in a waiting room with other people, thank you for working so hard urgent care of new jersey!

We recently took our son here since he twisted his toe. The doctor that treated him was absolutely horrible and even made fun of my son saying I have good news for you, you have a broken bone. This is not how you speak to anyone and especially to a 10 year old that is getting ready to go on vacation!!! WORST DOCTOR!!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

Exceptionally rude workers. Especially whoever handles the phone calls. I was placed on call for a long time which is understandable so I muted myself to reduce background noise. When she picked up the phone not even 5 seconds later she hung up on me. I didn’t even get a chance to unmute myself to speak. Terrible service. Honestly try other urgent care places, there are many near by with better staff.

Be aware. They make they own hours and close and open whatever time they feel like it. Don’t look at the schedule - they don’t follow it. I drove there thinking they open till 8pm like it says - doors locked. Called them - receptionist said we took last patient at 7pm and closed.

Please do not use this place. The staff are very rude, unprofessional, defensive instead of listening to the customer. I was told to pick up my records last Friday and when I came in the afternoon no one knew about it and was told to wait. I waited for close to 45 minutes and finally approached them again since no one paid attention to my request. I was told by the receptionist to come back the next day which I agreed. The next day I called ahead if it was prepared, I was put on hold for almost close to 30 minutes and finally was answered by a staff that gave me a homily instead of apologizing stating that their policy is 2-3 weeks to issue just a few copies of my tests. In short everyone makes their own rules and let the customers suffer. Above all the customer service is poor and seems we are nothing to them. I would request the management to investigate this complaint and run this center with more decent professionals who know how to handle people and never argue with customers. A formal written complaint will be forwarded to the administration of this urgent care center.

An absolute waste of time. Do not go here! The staff is rude.. The level of incompantance is impressive. I went here for a covid test and waited over an hour and a 1/2 for absolutely nothing. I was 1 of only 3 people waiting and still the wait was over an hour! Incredible! There are at least 10 people working and only the doctor administers the covid swabs Causing the extended wait time. Its an absolute sham!

PHONE HANDLING! Who ever handles your phones is doing you a great disservice. TWO DAYS in a ROW now, I have called....and after the first Hello, then Hold On You are directed to a waiting service. Yesterday, I waited for 5 minutes and hung up. This morning I needed to get my sons results, went through the same routine and waited for over 5 minutes. At one point, there was an Oops Moment. The handler not realizing it was me they put on hold...probably accidentally picked up and said Hello....then....Oh....Sorry! And put me back to Hold. I waited for another 4 minutes. Frustrated, I hung up and wrote this post. I only need my sons results. Either they have it or they dont. I can afford to wait.. I tested on Monday, Dec 28th, and I got my results posted on Tuesday 29th. My son being a minor cant have his results on the lab app. Thats why I called. Is it hard to tell me his results are there or not out yet? HOWEVER I will say one thing. My visit on Monday was great. Good in-person service. Dontspoil that reputation by this phone waiting issue.. its just not right. You could take your customers details and promise to call back. Now thats what I would call good customer service.

Waited 4 hours on line to get a covid test before i was able to read the sign saying it was not a free testing sight. My fiance had insurance but i was unable to get tested. Then after getting inside they made us wait in the car for another 2 hours. When i first got to the place at 9 am there were about 30-40 people ahead of me. 6 hours to test 40 people is absurd. Avoid at all costs!!!!

Don’t come here for Covid testing. I was first in line at the door at 10 am. Over 2 hours later I still wasn’t called and they were calling people who were behind me in. They literally have no idea how to manage lines or respect first come first serve.

I am an immune suppressed, heart transplant recipient who went in for a Covid test on 11/09/20 with several co-morbidity conditions. Dr. Aziz called me on 11/11/20 to say that I tested positive for Covid-19. He reassured me the results of the tests and they conducted and their reports would be sent to my hospital for follow up. Despite many phone calls, endless waiting nothing was sent even as of 11/16/20 - 7 days after my visit. No one had the courtesy to even offer an apology. My heart transplant team could not advise other treatments while we all waited for the reports.

Taylor made my visit easy and was supper helpful and pleasant.

This Urgent care does not have any information on what services they offer for Covid. Whther PCR testing or the Rapid.

I wish I never walked in here. They were very lazy, unprofessional, and didnt want to assist me with my insurance information. I will never return so God help me. They locked the doors at 7pm. I was the only one in the waiting room. They are suppose to close at 8pm. They were just not nice people.

They were very helpful in assisting me fill out forms for school after my primary care physician retired. But the female doctor was quite unfriendly and unsympathetic each time I saw her.

Three stars because the first visit was very quick and was a 5 star experience on a Saturday. Second visit was a 1 star experience. Waited for over 3 hours before I ever saw the dr... also, chairs/ couches in the waiting room are dirty and look like they have reached their expiration date.

If you look to get COVID test and you have NJFamilycare Don’t waste your time, they don’t take it, and want to charge 145$ each person.They said not appointment required, when you come in they said they don’t have more room for you.

I had a horrible visit. The Indian PA Aziz ,is very disrespectful, has no bedside manner. I had to use every restraint within me not to punch this guy out. He felt the best way to tell me that I need to loose weight was saying “ I need to get rid of the baby I have in my stomach”. This was said while I am waiting in an assessment room for a diagnosis for the pain I was feeling.Wow all he accomplished was infuriating me and solidifying my decision never to go back to that facility.Customer service was totally lacking with this so called medical professional.I advise people to find another urgent care facility in the area.Usually issues are with the ancillary staff and there attitudes and tones. Not in this case, I hope everyone who reads this review takes heed about this PA....To be honest I wanted to give no stars for this visit, but the site wouldn’t allow me too.

AVOID THIS PLACE For Covid-19 testing. I arrived at 9:22am it is now 1:42pm STILL WAITING. The 1st two hrs was waiting in line in the cold. Then someone finally came outside give us a former to fill out and took our cell number and insurance and asked us to wait in the car until someone call us in for testing. NOTHING ABOUT THIS PLACE IS RAPID like it says in the advertisement.

I called 20 times and no one picked up (just to see if they have a wheel chair to help my son out) I ended up carrying him in instead and everyone in the waiting room looked at me as I struggled to open the door while my hands were full (carrying my son). Finally, I was able to carry him in the door and put him down on the seat. Staffs are rude and has an attitude. The wait is very very long.

Waiting 2 months for reimbursement from Covid test!

My recent experiences with the staff were awesome, especially Daisy. I had lot of trouble getting vaccines and paperwork together to start school and was getting frustrated, but the staff here were really nice and helpful and made it easier for me, going above what they had to do to help me get everything I needed. They remembered me at return visits which was unexpected and a nice surprise. Patient and helpful on the phone as well answering all my questions- of which there were a lot. Not once did they make me feel like I was annoying or inconveniencing them, and I appreciate it all.

I went there for a covid 19 test check in then was told to wait in my car for a phone call to come in after 2 and a 1/2 hours of waiting I notice that everyone that came in after me where in-and-out finally I called to ask what as going on and they had no idea I was waiting like I never checked in so basically forgot about me . A guy I work with that needed the same test went to a place by Middlesex county college and was in-and-out in 15 minutes

Couldnt be more impressed. As I travel for work, Urgent Care facilities tend to be my primary source of medical aid... having been to many, this is by far the best I have been to. The staff was attentive, efficient, and caring. Diagnosis and treatment was accurate and effective. Plus, they followed-up later to ensure all was going well. Every time I have had to call into them, someone answered the phone within 2 rings and was immediately knowledgeable about what I was calling for. Highly recommend. My wait-time on a Saturday afternoon was not bad at all.

I walked in they took info about 10 minutes later went into a room got info about me and why I came in. Than they put me in a room and waited for doctor to come in. It took a long time before he came in but I understood it was busy even if it looked like not too many people. I kept hearing a door open and another close so I knew they were busy.

Terrible customer service and very unprofessional very dissatisfied with the overall treatment of Dr. Turkey. Went for COVID Testing with my children. I dont recommend this urgent care for any type of services.

The doctor I saw (sorry but I forgot his name) was very friendly and personable. He didn’t rush me out of the office like most doctors do. He prescribed some medicine as I had the flu with a sore throat. I felt instantly better. I saw the doctor on Friday and was back at work on Monday.

Aziz Khalid is my favorite he really comforts you and has srnse of humor

We went to the South Plainfield one 5 days ago and the people were so incredibly pleasant. The reception staff smiled, made eye contact and were so helpful.THIS PLACE HOWEVER, totally different story. Reception staff are unengaged and the male triage nurse dismissed or was nonchalant about much of what we were trying to describe of my partner’s illness. He used the wrong blood pressure monitor (tried to strap a child’s one on). Dismissed out thorough recount of the fever’s pattern over the last few days and barely asked any questions. I am greatly confused as to why these people even study to help people if they don’t want to help people?Anyway guys, if you’re deciding between the clinics don’t come to this one, the staff just don’t seem to care and the wait is astronomical.

Amazing place. All the doctors are very good, knowledgeable, and professional. I go here whenever I am sick and am always taken in in a timely manner. The staff is very nice and patient as well.

Syed is a great urgent care doctor, he was really easygoing with me and made the whole process a lot less stressful with his funny jokes, probably the nicest experience I’ve had at an urgent care office.

I went in to see a doctor for some minor but uncomfortable symptoms. I filled out the paperwork after giving my ID and insurance card. I was then told that they ran my coverage, and that I have a $150 deductible, and that’s what the visit would cost me. I was not expecting to hear that since I know I have decent medical coverage. I decided to walk away because I didn’t feel comfortable paying that amount to see a doctor. Something didn’t feel right and I was so confused that I was quoted $150, so I called my insurance company and received confirmation that I have a $0 deductible, and only would have needed to pay my copay, since this place is in network. I asked my insurance representative why I may have been quoted that number, and he said he has no idea. This just doesn’t give me a good feeling, so I will not be returning here. Don’t get scammed!

I have been to this place twice. One for my self and yesterday for my son. Both time the stuff was great. Specially the nurse Gabby and the lady doctor. My son hates doctor office but yesterday he was happy with this lady. The place need some upgrading though. I would recommend for anyone close by.

I arrived at the urgent care at 7:07. The website said that it closed at 8:00.I was then told that they dont see new patients after 7 oclock which is NOT stated on their website. I also mentioned that it is notstated on their website.They would not see me and the only way they would accommodate me is to give me my paperwork to take home. I described my symptoms and that I am worried that I might have the flu and how urgent it is for me to be seen. I was told that the antibiotics would work just fine in the morning. I told them how I was informed that the faster you take Tamiflu the more effective it is. And she disregarded that comment.Lets just say that I will never go back there. Im now at Med Express in East Brunswick waiting to be seen! If you need immediate care save yourself the aggravation and go there instead!

I went there as my cousin twisted his ankle. My cousin has an international travel insurance so we were not sure about documentation but Vellissa and Micalla were so nice. They helped me understand everything. They were superb !!

Came in feeling very sick I was greeted by a woman by the name of Eunise who was at the front desk she was so nasty and rude to me . When I sat down and awaited my turn I watched how nasty she was to the next patient . The patient sat down next to me and we both agreed this woman should not be working in this capacity. I assure you I will drive the extra few miles in the future to another urgent care location and will definitely spread the word to stay the heck away from urgent care of Edison. If someone cannot have the ability to have compassion and the ability to be nice to people especially when they are sick they should not be working in the Health Care profession .

The clerks at Urgent care is very Professional In have good communication with new patients and existing patients They make sure you dont wait too long to see the doctor staff is very nice one of the medical assistant I meet was very knowledgeable and very Respectful she took good notes for the doctor I think the medical assistant name was Onieka or something like that...I would Recommend a lot of people to go to this urgent care because they are very fast and patient and make sure you have everything you need before you leave the door.

Been here twice, both times on Sunday when my primary care physician is closed. Saw the doctor and got a prescription for a sinus infection. Did not have to wait long. Office staff is friendly and nice. Great option when your primary care physician is not available.

This place does not offer free covid 19 testing and I only knew that after waiting outside for 2 hours due to their phone line being disconnected due to pandemic high volume calls.

Dr Aziz is spot on and so nice! He has diagnosed me with life threatening infection after two other doctors wouldnt listen. I got treatment and am well. All four of my kids love him, he is so nice to them. Even my Grandmother had to see him once ad he fixed her right up and she loved him too!

The lady at the front desk (Eunice) is very rude and seems to always have an attitude toward customers. I’ve had two encounters both in which I was spoken to in a very rude tone and also ignored when directing serious questions about my health. Staff should exemplify patience and care, especially in a medical facility, but it is obviously not practiced here. Not to mention, the wait is long.

I go here when I cant get to my primary doctor. Dr. Khalid Aziz is always on point and gets me back on my feet. I would love for him to be my primary. I was sick with bronchitis and within the next few days I was feeling much better and he wants a follow up. Thanks

The staff did not even acknowledge me when I signed in at the desk. I also waited while several people that came in after me got taken care of before me. Their website also says to call ahead for an appointment, but when you call they tell you that it is a walk in facility and does not take appointments. When I finally was seen by Doctor WILLIAM CARR, he didn’t even realize that they had done a strep test on my throat. Nor did he seem to care, since when I told him that, he said that he COULD look at the results but he was just going to treat me for strep anyway because sometimes the test comes back as a false negative. For this he perscribed a 10 day cycle of an aggressive antibiotic without ever looking at the results of the throat swab. He also told me that they had no more kits to test for the flu, so just in case he was going to prescribe me Tamiflu as well. I do not appreciate being prescribed medications without having a proper diagnosis. I went to the doctor to find out what was wrong with me, not for him to just throw a bunch of prescriptions at me without knowing what’s going on. When I called back the next day to get the actual results of my throat culture, I was given the run around, and was told they never took a throat culture for strep. After going back and forth on the phone, I FINALLY was told that the test (that they had just claimed they had not given me) came back as NEGATIVE!

Would not come here again. Only came because they were the only ones open. The wait is horrendous. They left my paperwork just sitting on the counter until I went up to say something. They go out of line. And the place feels so gross and old.

Worst experience and customer service we had received. I had taken my father who has Primary Care Doctor in state Ohio. Hes medical insurance. I had to take him for an emergency as he had traveled oversea and I had bring him back in state NJ (my residence). So urgent care I took him there, Instead of having a doctor to come see him, they had send an PA to see him. She wrote 2 Prescription for my father. Next day I had provided the fax # of the place to send the prescription. Which they had partially send an information and I called them 4 times to provide the correct info. I was put on hold for an 1hr. and finally I asked to speak with the doctor Aziz. Again put on hold for an 1hr. Finally he comes on phone and says to me that I am very Perseverance and he has a Primary Care doctor, why I came to see him... Maybe Aziz shouldnt have taken him in first place and told me that he DOESNT accept patients who Have Primary Care Doctor.

Disappointed with services provided.

My husband and I were referred to Urgent Care of New Jersey by great friends (they continuously raved about them). Upon our visit we quickly agreed! The facility is clean, the staff is friendly and courteous and Dr. Aziz is unlike any other – extremely informative while taking his time to listen and making sure that my husband received the very best of care. Would definitely recommend this facility to everyone – couldn’t be more impressed! Thank you, Dr. Aziz!

Longer wait, untrained and slow staff, not clean, old equipment. I called on the phone and ask if they take my insurance and they said yes. After keeping us waited for 90 minutes, my turn came. They did physical and then called me outside saying they cannot take this insurance. They refunded copay but wasted my 2 hours while I was in severe pain. The same incident happened to my friend too. Never go there and waste time. There are few other newly opened ER centers nearby far better.

One of the worst experiences I had at this place. I was visiting jersey for 3-4 days and my child fell sick. This was the closest urgent care which was open and I had to visit. First day doctor says nothing to worry about and sends me back. Second day my kid’s symptoms worsen with diarrhea, vomiting and 102 fever. I again take her the next day. Completely different set of doctors, nurses and receptionists. Now the goof ups begin. A lady doctor comes in, hears me out, goes out of the room and tells everything to someone else and comes back and says it’s normal and then says I can talk to this other doctor. Dr. Azis (not sure of his name) hears me out and gives me a pep talk. My kid is 7 years old and her stools are literally like water and she is passing about 34-50 lbs of water on her every visit to the restroom. Are you kidding me when you say it’s normal? Along with vomiting and a fever of 102? I insist on running some tests. They collect urine and see some abnormalities... still no prescriptions. After the doctor visit... I take her to the restroom. I get a call from the doctor and she says they’ve prescribed her antibiotics thinking I’ve left the urgent care. Never seen such confused doctors and so very unprofessional not knowing what they’re doing. It’s the 5 th day, I’m still waiting for the urine culture report which was supposed to come two days back. I would never visit this place again and will not recommend anyone to visit. I’m taking her to a different doctor now and she is feeling better.
