Just took my son which has a fever and cough and not feeling good at all. I explained his father tested positive for covid and they turned him away saying to take him to urgent care. How do you turn a patient away thats in your office? I’ve been with this medical group for 22 years. Always felt with the best doctor there DR. ANAM once he passed I would take them to secaucus. No complaint either. Now I decided to come to Edison since it’s closer to the house and I would never return knowing you turned my child away!!! And they had the nerve to say they were over booked with no one in the waiting area. I hope no one dies under their care!!!

Their customer service is horrible. I tried to make an appointment with doctor but can never get through to anyone. Phones just keep ringing and no one answers I had tried 15-20 times but no response. It was a Friday and had to show my child for a small emergency and cannot afford to wait until Monday. Horrible customer servicesRe: Billing. Every time it is a surprise for me. Not sure when and how much bill I get.

My experience was terrible. Doctor J Taubman was terribly rude and nasty. She seems like she doesn’t even care about her job. She made my daughter feel bad because she was unbelievably rude.

I went in for an allergy test and came out with a $430 bill. They did not clearly communicate the cost of the “procedure”. The office staff does not warn you that your insurance potentially would not cover the costs or urge you to double check with your insurance. They just take your money and holds no accountability for their lack of customer service. Never going back.

I give two stars only because the staff is very nice and friendly when you go there otherwise than that, that is one of the worst doctors offices to ever visit they are very slacking and take forever to do anything I switch doctors now I have a better place where they actually do their job. And the doctor is not so disconnected. If you need a prescription for any kind of procedure you’ll be in trouble waiting on them. Terrible!!!!!!!! If you value your life do not use that doctors office.

I went to the office for flu shot for my son. During that time, the staff asked to get annual exam for my son. I asked that there must be no charge and the staff confirmed there would be no charge as it was preventive. After getting exam and blood work, I received bill for the blood work and also for some exams. The charges for the exams were taken care by riverside account people, but the charge for blood work by quest was not taken care. I called the staff and also talked with Quest for long time but they repeatedly told that this is my insurance but they dont understand that doctor should not write for the tests that are not preventive in nature.This is the serious mistake from the office and doctor that they dont know what tests are preventive for the respective age of the child.Later on I emailed to the office manager and I got call from Quest to repeat the same things. I explained the same thing and then after despite a reminder email to account manger, no response received.This is the worst experience with riverside. I had good experience with riverside jersey city and therefore I went to riverside Edison, but unfortunately the staff is not enough qualified here in compared to other facility or their intention is pure business whether patient need it or not.

I can never get through to anyone, theyanswer phones, immediately put you on hold and 13 minutes later, i am still on hold!!! 3 times this week same issue!! This is getting ridiculous!! My child has an emergency and can never get through, have to end up going to er in these dangerous times of covid thanks to them and their horrible customer services

1 star would be an insult to 1 star rating. We did our annual on 18th May, they made us sit in side the private check up room for an hour and half, and nurse kept saying we will be back in couple of minutes. Until we have to push them , then the nurse complaints about how unrealistic their work lorce and corresponding work load.... we get through the whole testing anyway. And now after almost a month they say we were never tested..... This place is a joke.

Even with appointments waited 1hour and half and still doctor not there for infant. I prefer to check sick infants instead of make your self busy with Physical of 10 kids cuz sick kid u need few mins to prescribe and physical u wants 20 mins. Made me so upset and my elder daughter who 3 start crying cuz she doesn’t want sit for hours.

Waited almost 1.5 hours for simple Covid PCR swab test at Rt 1 Edison NJ site and then another 40 min for a Dr. Never came. Front desk and nurse just sit & bla bla bla.. Waste of time. And I dont want to buy their life or death excuse. Dont go there.

Worst experience, please save your time and energyI have been going to riverside pediatrics for last 8 years in Jersey City and Hoboken and had great experience. after moving to edision I started going to this place for couple of years. It has gone down from mediocre to bad and worse in last 2 years. They dont call for your kids yearly vaccine, they dont send your bloodwork report to home (yes you have to physically go and collect), rude and inefficient office staff and most of the good doctors left their edision facility. My mistake of going there please dont go here - they take your money and dont do any work. complete useless. when I asked to email my kids report they said - their email service is closed and I need to call their CEO to get reports in email !!! completely ridiculous .

We came to this office in Edison because of the reviews that were glowing.Well I check the reviews now and I am going through exactly what they are all going through.My son had blood work done over 2 weeks ago now and we called last week to get the results because nobody called us.I am currently on the phone with them now again to try and get his results. They also referred my son to a specialist and we have an appointment with them next week.I used to take him to urgent care when we first moved to Edison. So after we tried to find a pediatrician again we saw the glowing reviews and came here.I am having seconds thoughts especially with the new reviews.Still on hold waiting for someone to answer my questions and get the results. The recording claims all this stuff.Ok someone unknown woman who didnt identify herself just gave me my sons results.Time to look for a pediatrician who cares for their patients.

We had an appointment for RT-PCR test on Tuesday and our flight was booked for Thursday morning.Staff Beena helped us to get the RT-PCR test results with in 32 hours,Because of her my family was able to travel without any issues . She followed up with the lab people until we got the test results mailed to me.I really want to appreciate Beena for her help.

Customer service is horrible. Don’t waste your time calling there either. Waited on hold for an hour before I couldn’t wait any longer. They simply pick up the call and send you straight to hold without even acknowledging the call. Go anywhere but here!

Went to my appointment today. It was confirmed via text + telephone yesterday. Waited 40 minutes in waiting room with 2 other patients. No temperature check upon arrival. Was finally called in after filling out paperwork even though none of my information changed, since my last appointment 2 months ago. Sat in exam room, nurse arrives, asks me what I am here for today. (same thing I am always there for in the last 2 years) she then informs me that my doctor is no longer there and they dont provide his services at all. Apparently he left 3 weeks ago and no one there can reach him. No doctor would personally give me referral without charging me for my visit. What a waste of my time and totally unprofessional! Its a good thing that this was a routine visit and not a serious matter. In the meantime this practice is NOT RELIABLE. I wasted an entire morning of my life.

Of late , their customer service has become bad.. when u dial , they send it to a call center.. where agents take ages to pick up the phone .. when they do pick up ,, they spend another couple of minutes taking all information and transfer to the riverside office, where they ask for all the information again .. been with Riverside for years but i think either they have gone down the drain or the call center is responsible .. also , the adult medcine doctors dont get back to you .. no one bothers to follow up .. requested emergency refill. the office attendant didnt even bother getting back .. now i am out of prescriptions .. i think they have stopped bothering abt the patient.. I am thinking of transferriing out of Adult medicine at the earliest

Our experience with the riverside doctors and staff have always been great until we met this doctor, Dr.Sunita Satwani. She gives advice and orders vaccination without going through the patient history and without referring to the vaccine chart. And upon questioning, this doctor answers I don’t know why I ordered the vaccination, I don’t remember if I had the patient chart or not, and i cannot micromanage everything and the nurse Deepal, she answered very rudely and insulted us as well, just because we asked questions regarding our baby’s health. What a careless and irresponsible answer from a Doctor!I wonder what’s so wrong in questioning the doctor’s advice ? As parents, shouldn’t we be concerned and informed ? How can a doctor answer like that, like aren’t you supposed to have patient summary for every visit and have the patient chart ready with you for the current appointment ?I cannot begin to imagine what would have happened to my baby if hadn’t stopped the nurse and questioned her before she administered the vaccine on my baby, it would have become a tragedy!My goodness, please be aware of this doctor and the facility at Edison.

Called the office (Riverside) for bloodwork results was told I need to go into the office, never needed to do that before. Called for an appointment took two weeks and when I got there Dr. asked me why I was there!? did not need to come in he left a message that everything was good. He refunded me my copay. He and I were not happy. And when you call the office it takes a while before someone answers.

I called asking for a referral, because I was running low on my prescription and they said that it was all set. This is the third time now saying the same thing and nothing. I have to wait till they’re open to make an appointment just for a referral. I miss Dr. Lee Albert. Ridiculous just to get a prescription!

Had over an hour wait from my scheduled appointment time before being taken into a room where I had to wait another exorbitant amount of time before the doctor came in.I had an appointment at the Edison location this past Thursday, 8/6, for a routine physical and was told I could not get the Mantoux/TB test done since I did not fast the night before. When I made the appointment, no one told me I had to fast. I was then told I could come back Friday, 8/7, for the Mantoux test via bloodwork, as it would be quicker, and more accurate, results than having the shot placed and having to come back in to get them read.I came back Friday as I was told, and none of the staff knew what I was talking about. Eventually, Evelyn was able to clarify the confusion, as she was so helpful to me on my original visit on Thursday. After my blood was drawn, I was told to come back on Monday, 8/10, to pick up the results.I come in Monday, and no results. They suggested I call Tuesday morning, 8/11, to see if my results were ready. So I did that, and got connected to the call center who claims they would reach out the office and have the office follow up with me with a phone call. I never received a phone call.I repeated this process today, Wednesday 8/12, twice. I called at 1:00 pm and was given the same run-around as yesterday; I reached the call center whose said they would reach out to the office and the lab to contact me. By 3:30 pm with no follow up call, I called back only to be told that the office closes at 3:00 pm! NO ONE COULD TELL ME THIS WHEN I CALLED AT 1:00 PM?!?!?!Highly unprofessional. No one, other than Evelyn, knows what they are doing; no one communicates and it seems like no one cares at the inconvenience they are causing their patients! This is by far the worst customer service I have ever received!

I have been with Dr. Elber for over 40 years, first Dr. Dan and then Dr. Lee, ALWAYS happy with them. With Riverside, I get calls from unknown people trying to schedule testing - these are things I would discuss with my doctor, not some random office person who I dont even know. I went for my visit and was asked to call back for the results of my bloodwork, very standard. When I called for my results, I had to go through a series of menu options to speak to a live person and request my results. I waited a full week with no callback. I called again, more menu options before getting someone to speak with, and was told that I had to schedule a tele-visit to receive my results. I requested a callback and was told the the scheduled tele-visit would be better. I scheduled it to get my results. On the day of the visit, I received a call right before my scheduled time and they wanted a copay. Seriously, they made me schedule a visit so they could collect a copay instead of just letting me receive a phone call from my doctor to discuss results. Thank you Riverside for turning medical care with a trusted, caring physician into a money-making business. In my opinion, you dont even deserve the 1 star given.

TRASH!!!!!!! The staff was very rude to me. During a phone conversation I asked if the young lady could repeat herself(she has a heavy Indian accent) she was speaking really fast but low. She gave me major attitude because I needed her to speak clearly. After that, I was talked over, I received little smart remarks and also told a fictitious name. When I explained that I am going thru a lot with my son and I just need the referral sent over to the specialist, she said, Everyone is going thru a lot, not just you. I asked to speak to an office manager or anyone other than her and she lied and said she was the only person in the entire office. I could hear the other ladies in the background. I called back moments later and another woman answered the phone and I tried to explain that I wanted to speak to an office manager, which I never got to speak to and she ignored me and even put the phone down during our conversation. I am removing my son from this place immediately. This is the most unprofessional place I have ever been to. They are all from the same place and background so they cover for each other.

Had appointment at 3 pm , its almost 5 pm , doctor is not in the room yet, what’s the point of appointments?? Been regular at the pediatrician of Riverside medical group next door, and they have been fav, adults side need some ramp up in service.

I just had a follow up conversation with Dr. Lee Elber and he was very condescending as I was trying to understand why my cholesterol levels was high. I have never ever had cholesterol problems so I just wanted to understand because I am vegan and high cholesterol is associated with animal meat. He dismissed that fact. Said no matter how much of a perfect diet you have (keep in mind I never indicated that being vegan is a perfect diet or that it creates perfect health. i didnt even voice my beliefs on anyone), it can be a struggle if its genetic. When his staff left a voice mail message all she said was everything was fine except my bad cholesterol/high cholesterol and that was that. No numbers, no ratios, nothing. It was only natural that I would call to get a better understanding of what was meant. Needless to say, I wont be going back there and neither will my son. Im sure he doesnt care. Just dont understand why would a Dr. Lee Elber treat me like I was in the wrong and have an attitude for calling back about this issue? He didnt even apologize for the fact that his staff left partial information. Then to top it off, they dont call you when they get the results in from the blood work. You have to call them or you will never know. Period. I am more than just a number. Get tired of these compassion-less doctors that only treat you good if you have top dollar.. smh

Excellent facility and service. Dr. Satwani is very patient and caring. Both my kids go to her. Today she took the time to bond with my son and get him to open up about his problems. She is so humble and never rushes her patients. I highly recommend this facility and Dr. Satwani.

Excellent location - EASY to find, and an excellent staff and doctor as well! They have specialized doctors coming in soon too. I am very glad I found them. If you need an adult doctor well you can walk right next door in the same building because the group has that there too! I highly reccomend them.The only issue is the braindead patients that parked in the back of the two left lanes blocking the exit that way but I am sure that the Edison police department will correctly that issue shortly.

It’s one of the best pediatric office’s in Edison , clean and spacious , very friendly staff and Dr Satwani is amazing , my kids have been with her for years from secaucus to Bayonne to Edison and we trust her completely , can’t even think of going to anyone else. Professional and caring at the same time, her diagnosis and treatment and to point , my kids have developed such a special bond with her.

Positive: My friend recommended me Dr. Satwani. I visited her for the first time with my baby who is 12 weeks for a Wellness Visit. She was very good with the baby. Her bedside manner is excellent. I am pro- health and pro- vaccines. I will do all the vaccines but I will do their alternative schedule. Dr. Satwaani is very welcoming and very down to earth. Before the first Wellness Visit with my baby she opened an space in her busy schedule for a consultation with me. I asked her all the questions I needed to ask before switching pediatricians. The secretaries are very nice.Negative: They didn’t give me record of my visit. I always like to ask for records for my personal files. Also, they offered me free sample of formula and they never gave it to me :(Question: They have two different entrances. One for well patients and other for sick patients. Do they have separe examination rooms for sick and well patients too?

Beautiful clean state of the art office. Edison office is efficient and convenient for us. Waite time is less than 10 minutes. Everyone in this office is very friendly and welcoming. Dr.Satwani and her staff is very professional, informative and timely. Dr.Satwani is an amazing a wonderful pediatrician. she has the best bedside manners. She is very thorough and explains every treatment option in detail. She is very calm and humble with kids which alleviates their anxiety. My kids love Dr.Satwani and look forward to seeing her. She treats my kids with great care and I highly recommend Dr.Satwani to everyone for their pediatric needs.

April 10, 2019: I am very happy :) about this week’s visit. This past Monday my baby got sick. So, I called and I spoke to the nurse. She is one of my favorite nurses. She is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. She solved the issue. In addition, she told me that if I wanted to see Dr. Azhar that day, I could just walk in. She told me that they were going to be there until 6:00pm. So, I decided to take my baby to them because I wanted to make sure my baby was healthy quickly again. As soon as I arrived they treated me amazingly. They made me feel important. They made me feel at ease. I did not have to wait at all...not even 15 seconds. I am impressed. 5 stars. Also,Secretaries and nurses are very, very, very nice. They gave me a clean room. Overall the office and the rooms are extremely clean and new. Beautiful location. Dr. Came and checked on my baby. She is an amazing pediatrician. She knows what she’s doing. This time around I felt super happy. I trust them very much. I am glad that they took care of any issues that made me upset last time I visited them. I am thankful I have found them. Thank you so much for caring about my baby’s health. I absolutely love the two pediatricians in this practice. Thank you so much for understanding that babies and children are priority. The doctor gave me some samples of formula. They took the co-payment (Difference Card & Cash) without any problem. Can’t wait for the next wellness visit. It is truly an amazing practice. My baby is healthy again. They know how to diagnose. Her name is Iris (Eeris). My baby had the 4 month Wellness visit today (Wellness and Vaccinations). She asked me several times how old my baby was.She wrote on the medical record that my baby was 3 months instead of 4 months. Then she handed me a questionnaire for 36 months old baby. So, I said: My baby is only 4 months and not 36 months. She kept telling me that my baby was 36 months. In addition, when we talked about the vaccinations she mentioned me he might needed the Flu Vaccine. At 4 months? Really????!!!!!!!!I was extremely concerned about the nurses knowledge and professionalism. The nurse noticed I was upset so she said she was confused then she left the room.When the doctor came to check my baby I told her about the nurses mistakes and the doctor apologized by saying: I think she is nervous.If you are nervous about doing such a delicate kind of work, working with infants, then you shouldnt be working as a infants nurse.I almost left the medical facility but I decided to stay and give the doctor a chance. She was okay. (I did not see Dr. Satwani today My babys doctor because she had an emergency) I saw Doctor Azhar. I told her that I did not want the nurse Iris (Eeris) to give the vaccinations to my baby. I told her that I was feeling very uncomfortable and upset about this nurse. So, she sent another nurse to vaccinate my baby. The second nurse was very nice but she forgot to wear gloves when it was time to vaccinate my baby.Lastly, I am very upset because we had to wait around 30 minutes in the waiting room and about 35 minutes to see the pediatrician. I arrived the medical facility at 12:20 pm and I left at 2:07pm. I spent a lot of time waiting.I was so distracted and upset about the nurses situation that I forgot to ask the doctor about introducing my baby to rice cereal and oatmeal. Ohhh well, I will call Dr. Satwani next month.As a mother I should be only be worrying about the wellness visit and the vaccinations for my baby, and not about writing this review.
