I highly recommend Jamison Optical! I took my teenager in for glasses and it went very well, from the exam with Dr Jamison to picking out the perfect pair of glasses for her. I also brought my mother and had a similar experience. The care they took to make sure my mother was comfortable, never having to leave her wheelchair, was extra special. The staff is very friendly and the eye exam was more thorough than what I was expecting. I was experiencing eye fatigue and light sensitivity from working in front of a computer all day, every day. The doctor made sure my eyes were healthy and had a solution. I didnt feel rushed through to make room for the next appointment and got what I came for. Im a satisfied customer!

For 15+ years, I hopped from one optometrist to another trying to get results. Every place felt cookie cutter. I sat down at the same machines, did the same optical exams, and I got the same results... which would be good, yet strained, vision for 1-6 months followed by a rapid decay of my vision. I was frustrated.With Jamison, I walked in saying I had a real challenge and we needed to think outside the box. It took a couple of visits, but I can now say that my vision has stabilized for the first time in 40 years. I have had the same prescription for 18 months and I just tested out at 20/20 vision at all ranges (Distance, PC viewing range, Cell phone range)The key to this success is that I told Jamison that we needed to think outside-the-box. She listened to my ideas and took into consideration my willingness to try solutions that most people would reject outright.We solved my eye issues with multi-layer solution of contact lenses + PC reading reader glasses or cell phone reading glasses. We were all a little shocked by the magnitude of our success.Eye strain headaches are a thing of the past. I see perfect. Also, every visit is a good experience. Super happy... and that is something I almost never say about anything so that is the highest rating I can give. This is also the first time I have ever rated any business... so that says a lot.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted and treated in a warm and professional manner. The environment is fresh and clean, water is offered as you are greeted. Although they do have a nice selection of glasses, there was no pressure to purchase them. I would definitely recommend.

Jamison Optical exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be going back there in the future for my eye exams. Dr. Jamison explained everything she was doing and what it was telling her about my eyes. I am terrible with getting my eyes dilated and she was so nice and gentle about it and did everything to ensure it was a great experience for me. Burned 1 -2 layers of my left eye and very slight negligible burns in my right eye at work. Emergency room doctor referred me to an eye doctor and I said no thank you. I already have an OD in Dr. Jamison that I trust completely. I knew based on past exams and conversations over the years with Dr. Jamison that if I needed to see a specialist she would have referred me to someone that was as professional, knowledgeable and detailed as she is. Knowing her as I do, if that were the case, I know she would have followed up regularly with the other doctor to ensure I was receiving proper care. Dr. Jamison is loyal to her patients and always looks out for their well being whether they are aware of it or not! After the emergency room visit I immediately reached out to Dr. Jamison to treat my eyes back to health and she did so successfully over a 2 1/2 month time frame. She even came in on a Saturday to ensure incremental progress was being made in the beginning stages. God bless her!

Fantastic experience at Jamison Optical. The staff was very friendly and incredibly helpful. Dr. Jamison did a very thorough job and explained everything very clearly at every step, she even has a great eye for frames — the first frames she picked out ended up being the ones that I purchased! They have a great selection of frames and Michelle walked me through the lens options letting me know about a deal with a second pair of lenses, so I ended up having my sunglasses lenses replaced too. You have won yourself a loyal customer!

I was able to make my appointment ahead of time online and received an email immediately to put onto my calendar. I got an email reminder the week beforehand (to confirm it) and a text the day of to help with my scheduling. I arrived on time and was promptly greeted. The eye exam went smoothly as per usual. The staff was professional and friendly plus certainly easy to work with from an insurance perspective. They also have a great selection of new glasses (at decent prices) to choose from. Will be back again next year and recommending them whenever I get a chance.

So friendly ans responsive!-------------------------------------------------------------Yesterday was my first appointment at Jamison. EVERYONE was super friendly. The appointment was efficient. I loved the expert advice on selecting lenses and frames, taking into account both their expertise and my preferences. I am really lookong forward to my new glasses and since Ill have more time when I pick them up than I did yesterday, I plan to look at getting prescription sunglasses!My only negative isnt huge because I am more on the sensitive side than most people. I encourage them to consider getting scent free sanitizer. I was slightly overwhelmed by its smell upon entering the place but got used to it - with only a few internal oh no moments when it was actively being used. Out of habit, and without thinking, I used it on my way out. 😳 I got sick from the smell cooped up in my car on my way home and then it made my house smell like it when I got home. Nearly 24 hours, several hand washes (at least 10) and a shower later...and my hands still smell faintly like it. If you have any patients that get sick from and/or react to fragrances, this will be a tough smell.
