BrightStar Care has been excellent. They responded so quickly when needed, brought out all of the needed forms and made sure everything was explained and fully handled. The home health aides were professional and very pleasant. If the need arises again, we will call BrightStar Care.

A few months ago, BrightStar sent a wonderful caregiver named Quisha to come to my aunts house and help her with her daily needs. My aunt just loves her and she is such a positive influence in her life...such a Blessing! I feel confident when Q is there that my aunt is well taken care of and is safe. She has a heart of an angel and we appreciate her more than words can say!!

I would like to recognize Damaris as a stellar caregiver for BrightStar. She goes out of her way to connect with my father. She patiently listens to all of his stories and responds with her own. He looks forward to her arrival and considers her a family member. Thanks to Damaris for making him so comfortable. Shes a rock star!

This company is horrible to work for anyone applies here beware of Wendy. The state needs to get involved and remove her from her position. She lied on me years ago saying clients said I didn’t take care of them correctly. This will jeopardize someone’s license which isn’t good. I called back to see if I was eligible and the office assistant said I was last year. They setup an interview for me and Wendy called me and said I was ineligible and told me stop harassing her. It’s not harassing the lady Wendy is delusional, all I did was try to re-apply for a position she lied on me and got me removed from my position years back. They discriminate and lie on people. To all Job seekers beware and don’t apply here.

I have been meaning to write a review for April, caregiver in Easton. She is a very bright young woman and professional with her dealings with my husband, David. She always talked directly with him and showed great respect. She was one of my favorite caregivers because of those qualities. She puts out a lot of effort to do a good job and seems to be well educated about working with patients who have dementia. Thank you to her for doing a fine job.

I highly recommend BrightStar in Easton, MD. We love Laura Jones and the nurse Andrie is absolutely terrific. She comes to our home every 2 weeks to give infusions. Always kind and caring. They are true professionals!

My father was very ill (Hospice) and he wished to be home and we hired Bright Star and could not have been any happier! Our first contact was with Roxy and she was wonderful. She is full of knowledge and kept in touch with us as we had met with her about a month prior to hiring the company. When we decided to hire Bright Star it was last minute, and everything ran smoothly, and Roxy met with us the night before. She always made herself available to our family. Dealing with Roxy made me want to hire Bright Star and only Bright Star. She is a very compassionate, understanding and professional lady. She is a great first impression of the Bright Star Company. Our family is very close knit and was always on hand for my father and other family members. The entire family was very pleased with Roxy and the Bright Star Team. They showed up on time and were very helpful with my father, and, his wife. They were very professional and knowledgeable as well. I will definitely recommend the Bright Star Company if anyone asks, and, I would recommend that they begin with Roxy! Please keep up the good work Bright Star!!

My mom had major surgery. My sister and I live 1 hour and 2 1/2 hours away from my parents, respectively, and my dad couldnt handle her care alone. After 16 days in the hospital, 9 of which were in ICU, Mom was discharged to their home and would need nursing care every 4 hours for the next 3 weeks. We were all nervous how to manage her recovery- then here come Laura and team to the rescue. Laura is the Director of Skilled Services and a RN at BrightStar, and she and the Care Staff are amazing-- both knowledgeable and personable. Mom loves her! To quote Dad, Laura is competent, caring, a good leader, and knows her stuff! Highly recommend!

I have partnered with BrightStar of Easton for almost a year now for in home care for my father. Our experience has been wonderful. The administrative staff has been responsive to all my requests and needs. Most importantly, my care partners have been extremely competent, supportive, friendly and caring. Nicole Warner and Ashley B. are both excellent!! I never have to worry about my father when they are with him.

My comment is not about Brightstar as a company. It is about some of the caretakers who came. I have no problem with their services. I do, however, have a BIG problem with their wearing perfume. It has been almost 3 weeks since the patient moved out of my house. The lingering perfume smell on my living room furniture is so powerful, still, that I can smell it around the corner here in my bedroom. Yes, I have opened the doors, windows and sprayed. Now what? Do not allow any more staff who wear perfume or scented beauty products to go into peoples homes.

BrightStar has been providing excellent support for a family member for 8 months. We started with 12-hour coverage and now have 24-hour caregivers. The scheduling staff does an excellent job of fitting the caregiver to the client then responds promptly if there might be a fit doesnt work.The office manager Wendy has gone above and beyond with making visits to my family member just to check in to see how the caregivers are working out with the client. She is in constant contact with me to make sure Im pleased with how things are going. If I have a concern, shes there for me to reassure me that all is as it should be.I appreciate the care my loved one is receiving from BrightStar.

We had a great experience with Bright Star. We needed additional backup care for my grandmom because her move to assisted living was delayed due to the covid 19 pandemic. Bright Star was able to assign a caregiver within a day of submitting the request. The caregiver, Jaira Miles, was very attentive, kind and patient. She played Scrabble with my grandmom for hours, which she loves. She is a natural at care giving, very kind and friendly. She was also very prompt and reliable at every visit. I highly recommend Bright Star.

Our family will forever be grateful to the angels at Brightstar in Easton for making it possible for our beloved mother to remain at home in the last months of her life. Dawn and Laura and Will worked with us, with her doctor, and with her Hospice caregivers to assure that she would have dignity and quality during that most important time in her life. I believe her caregivers felt true affection for our Mom and even for us, and we hope they will always know that this was a two-way street! Not sure why my review was deleted earlier so I will repost so others are warned. Not good business to hide your flaws!Would not recommend this company to anyone! Extremely unprofessional and terrible impression. I called and was transferred to the Office Manager, I believe her name was Kendra? I was looking for information on what the company had to offer for my grandfather. She was extremely rude, abrupt, and harsh. Almost seemed as if talking to me was an inconvenience. While chatting she talked down to me and made a very very offensive comments. I cannot even imagine how the helpers would treat my grandfather if the manager acts in this manner. Decided to go with comfort keepers instead which was a great decision!!

I was a former employee at Brightstar 2 years back. I recently was told I was eligible for re-hire a couple months ago. I recently called back to Brightstar they setup an interview and all of a sudden they told me I wasnt eligible for rehire. I asked to speak to a person in chain of command and Wendy the regional manager was very unprofessional and got ignornant this is a form of discrimination. I would not recommend anyone to work for this place.

Brightstar was there when I needed help for my aging family member. My family and I were very satisfied with the quick response to our requests or services. The care staff was top notch! Thank you to the Office staff and caregivers that were there when we needed them.

New LPN-Seems to be going well so far! Originally 5 stars! Just completed a school nurse contractual case from Sept-June. No coverage for any sick days from the agency, so my patient had to stay home from school. No communication from office except for asking (texting) for my timesheet immediately after faxing my timesheet from the school office. Pay is GREAT! No benefits except for 5 days of pay the week of Christmas, which was an incentive but after working Mon-Fri 8am-4pm you need sick time for appointments or coverage for sick days. I wasnt paid when my student was out of school for illness or inservice days. No PTO or SICK time even after inquiring! They texted in a group text that a gift was at the Salisbury office for Christmas, i never could make it due to my schedule so i never received it. I guess paying postage to get it to me was too much. Seems like a new company thats still ironing out wrinkles.

The staff provided excellent care for my uncle and was very dependable and professional.
