The people are very warm and friendly. I recommend Nin’s if you have longer hair or if you have short hair and just need a good was and conditioning. It’s not the place for cutting or styling short hair. Not sure I’ll ever understand drying under the dryer with rollers then blowing out with high heat then using a flat iron or curling iron. It seems like a lot of heat especially if your hair has relaxer. Like I said, if you have longer or long hair, the work is beautiful but as someone with short hair I now just ask to have it pinned back and up.Another issue is timing. I’m sitting in my car at 9:20am waiting for them to open. The website says they open at 8 AM. This is not the first time. It’s best to call to find out what time they’re going to open because if not you’re wasting your time waiting.The place is clean and the prices are very fair. It’s a good place.

I visited this salon last month. It was a very pleasant experience. I loved that stylist was able to tell me what my hair needed, although I knew what I came in for. They were very professional. I actually paid less than I was anticipating. I will be making this salon my home.

They charge me a hell of a lot because Im natural. But other than that I like it. They do a good job, Ive never had a complaint.

I went to get my hair done there 2 weeks ago.They prices are high.The lady charge 70 dollars for my hair rinse,wash and deep conditioner and a Doobie.It should have been cheaper.

I went in and asked twice the price of a service and I was told a price I agreed to it but once it came time to pay I was giving a much higher price I dont like that I will never go here again but the work was ok for a week

My stylist was great however I asked multiple times to be quoted a price. At the end they finally told me and it was off from what I expected. It agitates me when I request information multiple times and I am ignored. Im on a budget--I wish they respected my request more for a actual price quote.I may give it another chance but I am wary due to how I had to pull teeth just to be told how much something cost.The stylist is worth 5 stars for her work, truly.The customer service however? I wish to give it one star. Perhaps next time will be better.

I have been going to Ninas salon for about 5 years off and on. Over the last 2 years Ive been a regular customer, they always were courteous helpful, and available when I needed their services. Sometime I work 6-7 days a week, and at both sites of Ninas Salon, every time Ive called to make an appointment they accommodated my work schedule. LONG before any covid issues, I always felt special, never any question, I always received excellent service!!!!

I’ve been coming to Ninas for about 4-5 months now and I’m not going any where. They are so clean and cautious with this whole COVID thing. I felt safe and comfortable. Nina keeps my hair healthy, shiny and moist. My silk press always comes out on point. Their service overall is exceptional. I would recommend this people any day.

I came in here from coloring my own hair at home because im a cosmetologist. This was my last resort, i really wanted a silk press but i waited too late & everyone was booked. She gave me one price over the phone & then i came in and she started adding all these extra charges. $5 to wash my color out lmfaooo. I have 4a type shoulder length hair, the lady Dina or however you say it told me that my hair was too curly to go in rollers, ive never heard that before, business was slow so she tried to get me to just get a doobie without rollers cause that’s $50 which is ridiculous. I wasted my time coming here because i needed a trim badly, that was my whole point of getting my natural hair done. I didnt even get the trim because once she started giving me attitude after my shampoo i had to side eye everything she did!

Service is pleasant. everyone makes you feel welcomed upon entering salon. Friendly staff. Assured satisfaction when doing a style of your choice I will continue to be a customer with this establishment.. I love this place and recommend this place to anyone

They are pick up hub for wish.com which is awesome because its just around the corner from my home and I make sure it gets there from wish unlike when it gets delivered to my home and somehow gets lost

I know the owner of this establishment for years very nice person. She picks her workers with care. Very nice people and they do a great job on my hair, it is natural and growing healthy and they make pointers and you can also ask. I also bring friends and family here with no complaints. If you come to this establishment please ring the door bell on the left side of door cause they keep it lock sometimes there isnt a lot of workers. Its a very safe clean and well kept salon. Please try it out for yourself hope you enjoy your visit .

Went in needing a whole new dew! I havent had a perm in a while and decided not to get anymore so my hair has been looking real nappy. I went in asking for a suggestion and had a $50 budget. The ladies gave me a deep condition blow dry and press! All for $40. Im impressed, and the customer service was great. Will definitely be returning.

I went there yesterday with my sister and we both were satisfied. I wasn’t sitting in there a long time, they work diligently and they don’t rush. From hair tips for keeping your hair healthy and more, Nina’s does it all! The owner and works are very friend and you can do nothing else but feel at home in my opinion, 5 stars.

I hate leaving bad reviews but my hair smelled burnt for 2 weeks. This happens everytime I get my hair done here. If you have healthy natural hair this is not the place for you.

Expert care! Experienced stylist! Very professional staff. Definitely will continue going! Fast friendly service!6 months forward I just left Ninas first time since Covid. Nina and Anna are the most professional, knowledgeable in hair care. The salon is 100% CDC compliant with social distancing, sanitized station etc. before and after use, hand sanitizer and disinfectant on hand. I highly recommend Ninas for black hair care!! You wont be disappointed!

Dont go here if you care about the health of your hair. The price quote when calling and actually going there is double the difference when you pay. Not good at haircuts, I have to pay someone else to fix it. My hair was dry and smelled like burned hair and chemicals when I washed it later. Ive heard of salons putting perm in the shampoo or conditioner. It was really suspect because my hair wis straight and dry from a ver curly natural texture after leaving there. I would need to cut off all of my hair and start over. I have been deep conditioning and treating my hair since to no avail. Im really depressed and sad.

Not good at all. Not a good place for a hair cut and you may get unwanted chemicals that alter your hair without you knowing about it. If you want healthy hair avoid this place, its not for beautiful curly hair.

My natural blow out + trim came out nice and straight! The heat was a bitttt much, but otherwise happy (and glad they used the deep condition + heat protectant i brought).

There supposed to be open on all days of the week. I went to them around 1pm on a Wednesday, as soon as I pulled the door it was locked. The owner of the place NINA was longuing in her chair on the phone, telling me to go away. The very first time I went there my scalp was burning under the dryer and blow dryer. They are very careless and very rude people. The shampoo girl is really rough to. I lost a lot of hair from them them to 😑. No one should go there

Dont know what these shops have in there products my hair will not grow flaky dandruff from the shampoo etc. Nina salon was the only place that had my hair growing but i stopped going cause i had moved and it was to far to travel so iam back in eastorange will be making a trip soon.

My 2nd favorite doobie shop. This was my 1st time going which was on Tuesday and I am glad I did. The salon is beautiful and the service was great. The ladies are so sweet and kind and Im not 1 to just go to any salon I read the reviewz and each review was great ! Will be back next week!

One of the worst experiences I have ever had. As I entered the salon, I asked multiple times: Are you experiences in natural women hair, she repeatedly said yes. The women that began to shampoo my hair did not know how tot shampoo natural hair because my coils was being damaged due to her using the wrong type of brush on my hair. The next woman that was straightening my hair did not use any heat protector and had a attitude every time I told her she is burning my scalp. Needless to say, the hairstyle only lasted a hour and when I wash my hair I had so..... much damage that I had to cut a lot of my hair off which I have grew for the past two to three year and was healthy with no form of damage before going to this salon. PLEASE do further research before going to any salon.

I normally dont do this, but no one should have to go through the horror I just experiened!!! If you care about your hair... DO NOT trust it to any sylist at this place!!!!I got a bad feeling the minute I walked in the salon. There was only one customer there & the receptionist was more concerned about her phone conversation than actual business.The shampoo girl was extremely rough, then became upset when I told her that she was hurting me. My hair was blow dried to the highest heat setting with a fine tooth BRUSH!!! And a fist full amount of hair was removed from my scalp throughout the whole process.You would give this place ZERO stars if that was an option!!!!
