I have been Blessed to sit in the chair of Miss Wakeelah, and let her work her magic on my hair. I have been there twice and each time it has always been a professional and safe experience. Her assistant is great as well. It is definitely a positive atmosphere.

I went in looking to get a quick weave but decided to get a wig instead, Hands 🙌 down this is best salon around . I came in looking and feeling like Cinderella and These ladies where definitely my fairy god mother’s because when I left I looked nothing short of a princess 👸. They worked Nothing short of a miracle on me . I am so thankful , grateful and blessed to know places like the Room exists. Thank you ladies and I look forward to returning soon .

All the ladies there can do hair. It a very nice place with positive and welcoming energy. It is a place where you can talk your issues out. If I were to tell someone about the stylist I would recommend Halimah.

Ive been going to The Room and Wakeelah for a little over 5 years and have no problem referring clients to her or Halimah. Tasha gets me in even when I call last minute and Im always asked where I get hair done after. I go to the queens to get my crown and they are worth the money spent.

Great stylists, very talented. Wakeelah is the owner and who I see. She is great! My only issue is the wait time, be prepared to be there alllllllll day.

I am a long time customer of Halimah. From weaves to natural hairstyles I have NEVER had a complaint nor lacked compliments when it comes to her styling my hair. All of the Roommates are extremely talented at their craft.

They talk to much, loud and not focus. they ALL stay on their phone and tablet. shop wasnt full but people was still waiting to be Assisted because they werent focused. no one should be Erable in a empty salon. A 3.5 hrs hairstyle turned into 7 hrs in a empty salon. braiding girl smoke stank nasty cigarettes right in front of the door so the heavy smoke blows right into the shop btw she smokes back to back.VERY OVERPRICED!for those prices i shouldve been in and out.I went to way better salons with standard prices and they did a waaay better job and it was more professional. i tried to support the local black women but thats out the door now. dont settle for local classless black salons. we deserve better with our hard earned money. its better out there, u just have to shop around.

I started going to The Room when it first opened. I decided to go Natural in 2013 to do something different. 4 years later, I wanted my curls back & am back at The Room. Wakeelahs hands are Gifted to do what she does. Ive ALWAYS been a satisfied client & highly recommend her to Family/Friends as they compliment me on my different hairstyles. Professional atmosphere, Great people & I Thank GOD for Blessing her business.

Wakeelah did a FANTASTIC job on my hair! I was satisfied and she and her staff were efficient and friendly. I arrived on time and Wakeelah was ready. Shes great at what she does and knows it!!

Halimah has a bad attitude and vibe. I will never recommend her and she is not talented. She needs to go back to hair school if she ever went in the first place. Very nasty attitude for someone who cant do hair. Seems bi polar and miserable. The owner is very nice. Halimah will kill your business. You need to make her the shampoo girl. Shes definitely not a sytlist.

Not sure why anyone would say Haleemah did their had bad . You probably did not describe or give enough detail on what you wanted...Haleemah does my hair every week and she is on point.. Corinnerayfit check my Instagram and You Tube Corinne Chronicles and my ish on point every week. Haleemah my love you are a Star and I could not live without You. I would recommend her to anyone!! Sadly everybody can post on google not always truth.!!! Check her!!!
