I had major shoulder surgery because of nothing more than too many birthdays. I was recommended to them by two other people who were treated by Matt and his team. They only had good things to say. As far as I go, I am ahead of my recovery time and I attribute that to Matt and his team. My wife, who was having back problems, and unhappy with her current provider, also went to see Matt. She is very happy with him and the entire crew is up to date on the latest treatments and technology.

As an athlete, I have been to a lot of PT clinics over my lifetime including the Sports Medicine teams at the Olympic Training Centers in Chula Vista and in Colorado Springs. Matt at Performance Physical Therapy is the best of the best! I would highly recommend! If I didnt live local, I would still come back here if I needed PT.

I fell on my shoulder ice fishing and fractured it and was referred to Matt at Performance PT. Matt, Cam, Jake and Brett were all awesome to work with and very knowledgeable about their profession. In July of 2020, I suffered a catastrophic injury to my right arm and shoulder. After several surgeries and about 60 days of immobility, I started my path to recovery with Matt. Matt was fantastic and had faith in my recovery even when I did not. Matt’s knowledge and professionalism kept me showing up 2-3 days a week for 7 months. His ability to see improvements in my performance when my spirits were low helped me keep the faith that a full recovery was the only option available to me. Clean and comprehensive facility. Can’t say enough about this place. I had a pain level 10 back injury that other Dr’s were saying might require surgery. Matt felt differently and treated my back injury knowing full well surgery was not going to be needed. With the pain I was in day 1 with him I had my doubts, but he was 100% correct. 4-5 weeks of treatment later I saw a spine surgeon who after reviewing my MRI was amazed I was even walking. Let alone down to a pain level 0-1. Back injuries suck big time, but when you find someone that knows how to treat it properly and not force surgery on you it’s a MAJOR WIN!! Matt is amazing !!He fixed my tennis elbow right away ..The night before ( on Sunday night ), i had problems in straightening up my right arm after coming back from playing Pickleball ..i came to his office on Monday afternoon …He fixed it !On Tuesday morning, i even forgot to vacuumed with my left hand ( i usually vacuumed as much as i could with my left hand, to give my right hand a rest, and not to give it too many burden ) ..I vacuumed with my right hand 😳😳👍👍 !!Because no sore no pain anymore !!!Thank you Matt 👍👍👍

If you are in the need for physical therapy and have the desire to be pain-free, this is the place you need to go to. The staff is very knowledgeable, very professional, and give you their best efforts. Do to pain, I could hardly walk in for my first appointment. After my PT sessions, I walked out without a limp and was pain free. These guys make the saying “Be The Best You Can Be” come to reality.

Can not say enough great things about Matt! He was doing physical therapy with my son and when he just wasn’t getting better, Matt’s discerning eye caught what the doctors did not see on an ultrasound. This led to further examination and ultimately surgery. Had it not been for Matt we would have continued on with pricey procedures, that never would have fixed the problem and would have eventually led to surgery anyway. It saved us money and more importantly TIME which is crucial for an athlete. Matt is extremely knowledgeable, kind, and professional. His facility is nice and clean and his staff competent and helpful! I would recommend this place over and over again!

It is difficult to read all the 5 star ratings for Performance Physical Therapy of Idaho and not use the same great adjectives. I went to Matt and his team with a frozen left shoulder 2 months after having surgery. He and his staff were professional, knowledgeable, helpful and encouraging. Matt’s skills are exemplary and I recommend him and his staff wholeheartedly.

I am extremely pleased with the results of the superb physical therapy I have received over the past 2 months! I went to see Matt for shoulder pain. I couldnt do even the simplest of things without significant pain. I felt very confident in his initial assessment and felt significant improvement after the first few appointments! I had stem cell therapy on my knees and was lucky enough to be referred to this Clinic for rehab. Matt is educated and very knowledgeable in the fairly uncharted waters of stem cell therapy in this country. Having worked extensively with Major League Baseball players and the NFL on rehab protocol after this procedure, he is an authority on the subject. I am happy to say my knees are on the way to a full recovery and I would highly recommend Matt and his group of professionals if you are considering Stem Cell Therapy and the importance of post therapy rehab.

I work just downstairs form Performance Therapy and was having pain with my Achilles. I was seeing a Podiatrist and on my second visit with them I felt like they hade taped the wrong injury. I went to speak with Matthew and found out I was correct in thinking the previous Doctor had taped the wrong injury. I had a big race coming up and wanted to know if it was going to be possible to run with the pain I was having. Matthew was very confident that he could assist in making it possible to run the race. I set up some appointments and Matthew did some dry needling on my Achilles with which I felt instant relief. Long story short, I was able to run the race with no pain. Matthew is amazing at what he does and the staff is very friendly. They were awesome at working with my schedule to get me in right away. I will continue to see them as well as refer others to them.

I have been seeing Matt for several weeks following a stem cell transplant in my right hand. I have been having such a great time there, Im going to miss this great group of guys when I am released! Matt is very professional and keeps me well informed and on track. Cam does a great job with pushing me through my therapy and keeping me going.This is the BEST PT office I have ever been to. All the other therapy facilities I have been to in my life have been so boring and overwhelming with exercises, I cant wait to get out of there. Within the first 2 appointments I gained rotation in my neck for the first time in 15 months!!! I was in a major car accident 16 mos ago. I just finished a 3 day hike with a 45 pound pack and 6000 ft elevation gain along Nason Ridge in Washington State. This hike would of been impossible a few months ago, but thanks to Matt and his crew there was no pain and no swelling in both my knees that had stem cell replacement in March.
