Wonderful quiet space. We only stayed overnight on our first trip down but it wont be the last and we look forward to coming back here and exploring the area!Bathhouse is sufficient and clean but lacking the privacy and amenities of First Landing State Park in Virginia. This is spot A22.

Rolling View campground is a very nice facility. We have stayed here on several outings since we purchased our Class A motorhome September 2018. It has become one of our go to place since its only three hours from our home in New Bern NC. There are nice wooded semi private sites mostly off of the Falls Lake. Roads are paved, sites are gravel with varied degrees of level. Fire rings and picnic tables are located at each site. RV sites have 30 and a 10 amp receptacles. There is also water located at each site. The general appearance of the park very pretty. It has rolling hills surrounded by beautiful hardwood forrest with lots of wildlife including birds, grey squirrels, rabbits, deer and others. Its a very peaceful, pleasant place to unwind. There is a fishing pier located on B loop.We havent used any of the bath/shower facilities so I cant comment on those. There is a sewer dump located near the park entrance. Unless you want to do multiple setups I would highly recommend a portable potty tank for convenience.Overall I would have rate the park Five Stars. I only chose Four because 50 amp service would be a great option for units with multiple AC unit operation during very hot weather! Unfortunately, larger RVs do get quite warm with high temps but are still manageable if start cooling early morning so you can help get past the peak high temperatures.

Campsites in loop A are far apart and maintained. The rest rooms for this loop are run down but usable.

Absolutely one of the best places we have camped. Our camp site was shaded which most all were. Beautiful beach area. Very nice hiking trails. Within 5 miles of grocery stores and with 7-8 miles of nice restaurants. Be sure to take insect spray.. as there are pine trees and pinestraw which is a set up for ticks and bedbugs. Electric and water.. dump station for sewer..would have given 5 stars if there had been on site sewer.I definitely reccomend!

Well maintained and a respectable distance between sites. Great for families and the dogs love it too.

Great space, plenty of room, water was a little funky tasting. Bathrooms weren’t super clean, but way better than a hole in the ground that’s for sure.

Lots of large, really nice sites. Water and electric, no sewer hook up (dump station only). Groceries nearby if you need them but feels like youre long way out.

LOVE this place! As Im still awaiting to move to Wilmington,my children were getting bored in the hotel so I thought camping via tent btw, would be nice. We had 24 access to the lake and RIGHT by the pier as well, with a BEAUTIFUL view of the lake, kids swam at Swim Beach where life jackets were plentiful through 8pm as staff made sure kids were ok and kept eyes on everyone to ensure safety, and although it was very hot,we actually slept well in our tents with the sides to vent cool night air. This kept my teen boys off Xbox and all electronic devices bc there is no Wi-Fi as i found that a PLUS! Its ab 25$ a night w power and water,18 without.Bathhouses were clean, handicap needs are exceeded for those who need, playground on the beach area AND one close to campers, and staff members were exceptional. We will certainly return bc hey,it beats hotel prices and has the most beautiful views and the kids are kept busy in the sun/fun.

Perfect little get-away, while still close enough to get goodies that you may have forgotten. The Rangers were very nice, helpful, and had great advice. Facilities were the cleanest Ive seen at a NC campground. Lots of trails, saw deer, and was refreshing to all the senses. 10 of 10 for this experience!

Quiet & serenity at its finest, clean & spacious sites. Well kept & clean bath houses. Beautiful views of Falls Lake from most all sites on property. Feel far from the hustle & bustles of Raleigh, Durham area just a short drive away!!! Kudos for keeping this camp site in pristine condition over the years!

This place is beautiful, there are water and electric sites but no full hookups, so you have to use the dump station when you leave but this is a minor inconvenience when you look at the woodsy well placed sites and quick access to the lake. Hiking trails are cool too and well shaded making them more appealing in this North Carolina heat.

I dont want to forget how nice the rangers are. You can tell that they enjoy their job, and that makes the experience all the better!

The loop is very nice and quiet. Its mostly for RV hookups but you can use a tents there and have water and electricity available if you like. Rangers drive regularly to check on guests. The loop host is in charge of bathroom/shower cleaning. They were quite clean. Some walking trails were flooded out from so much rain weve had over several weeks but there were other trails that could be taken that were well marked. Other guests were friendly and our family had a really nice time camping there this Thanksgiving holiday.

This is a fun place to go camping. The bathrooms are not so great. It was incredibly hot as there is not even fans to circulate the air. Also the showers suck. There was no pressure at all and the water was not even warm. They have the worst showers of any camping destination I have ever been to in my entire life. Still had fun though!

My family and I just got back home today from a short vacation to this place. While the view and campground were peaceful and everyone we came in contact with was very friendly, the ticks were very bad! We have been camping at other campgrounds and have never had a tick on us....until we stayed here!! If anyone else stays here be on guard for ticks...other than that we had no problems!!
