I give a 3 star to only one employee that works there on rotation she really deserves 10stars as for the store itself none poor customer service ,they dont n have attitudes n poor hair cuts .n the only reason I go back is for one curtain stylist n she does a fantastic job thanks again

Their customer servic stinks! My husband and I came in for haircuts. Checked in and waited through 2 hair cuts. Was only one person working. Right as she was finishing the last person a woman and her child came in. They had checked in online. So the customers who were waiting got bumped back 2 places. They actually took the person who just walked in over the customers who had been waiting. This is a bad practice as it is a walk in salon. So they expect the customers waiting to wait and hope noone else checks in before they get their turn. I wont be back.

They wanted my 5 year old to wear a mask. Rudely asking me if I had one in the car.. Oklahoma doesnt even have a mask mandate. Guess they are the mask police. The staff is always rude. We have been here a few times. We went right across the street to US Hair and they took us right in and NO MASKS required.

Getting a great cut at Great Clips of Durant is really a 50/50. It all depends on who is cutting your hair, so be sure that you find a barber that knows about the styles you are looking for.Besides some communication issues, Great Clips is a very clean and friendly place to get a haircut.

The older lady that cut my hair was rude and talked down to me like I didnt know anything about my own hair -_- The younger gal that cut my daughters hair was great but I will never go to this location again.

I had a job interview in durant on jan 31st.I didnt intend a haircut but saw a great clips in town on the way and figured i might as well as i was way early in town.A stylist named Susan did my cut perfect and even changed my style as i gave her artistic license.I could sense she was appreciative of the work as her smile came through the mask.I appreciated the covid compliance firstly.Second thing is i believe i got the job due to my new business style cut so it wouldve been twice the price. I feel bad i couldnt tip what the stylist was worth but when i move there i will make it right because i only ever use great clips.Thanks yall for remaining open in these tumultuous covid times.Do go there and remember these people are exposing themselves daily to serve the public.

My 12 year old grandson went for a trim around his ears and was scalped. We have been letting the top grow out for a year and the operator buzzed it off after being told to only cut the sides and neck. Never, ever will I refer anyone to this place. My pet groomer does a better job.

Took my boys in once and the manager refused to do the cut my youngest son wanted. Finally one of the girl told my husband Ive never done it but I will try. His hair looked great. The manager cut my others sons hair (normal hair cut nothing special) and it looked horrible. Went in on Saturday night to get my hair cut and open sign was on walked in the door and the manager looked at me like I had lost my mind. I asked are you about to close she said oh yeah now. I will not be returning because she was so rude. I understand they are overworked but Im a person to and you could at least be nice to a customer when they walk in the door.

I scheduled an appointment online with a 9 min wait at 9:20 am. When I arrived the manager was outside in front smoking. She moved away from the door to finish while she was speaking to another employee not working. They open at 9am but apparently it was time for a long smoke break when I arrived. The one person working was nice and cut my sons hair great. I chose to go somewhere else because she didnt have the experience needed to do my specialty cut and I was put off by the managers attitude toward my extra long wait. As if she took a long break so she didnt have to do my cut. Now I fixed the issue and wont go back.

They are ok very clean shop friendly staff good for a quick mans hair cut but just watxh who you get to cut your hair... Hubby got a #1 shave and she cut his skin she still made him pay for it and i always have to fix the kids neck line...

Its just a hair cut, people are nice there, but they change a lot.

The worse thing I ever did was take my 16 yr old son for his cut there. The bigger lady with the very short blonde hair is the rudest person I have ever met. I mean if I am telling you that you are cutting to much then you are. She was to busy making her self noticed with all the men that when it came to my 16 yr old. She just went over and started chopping his hair off when he wasnt even getting a mohawk! My son showed the girl cutting his hair how he wanted it. So when this lady just jumps in and assumed it was a mohawk is ridiculous!!!! Maybe if you want to be boss you should ask what kind of cut the person is getting before picking up scissors and just start chopping.

I like Great Clips because no appointment is needed to get my hair trimmed.

DO NOT GO HERE! HORRID SERVICE AND SENIOR MANAGEMENT NO BUSINESS SERVICE SKILLS AND INSULTING...The stylist treated my adult son horribly. Even though I mentioned how he liked his hair and beard, the stylist cut it the way he wanted not my son. He mislead me stating this is what my son wanted and asked if it was ok. Why me? I said whatever he wants. I made an error on the credit card receipt and the tip + service did not equal the total amount. The stylist made the same mistake I did, but upper management would not listen to my concerns and did not follow the legal guidelines that you go by the total amount. I had overdraft fees which the management will not refund. I drove 45 mins to correct this and discuss about the service like I said I would. I was told their would be an asst mgr.there. Nope! Mohammed (I guess the franchise owner) dismissed my service complaint and belittled my complaint. Then he hung up on me. I did get the overcharge corrected. I would not have complained about the haircut... I just would not have gone back. Yet, Mohammeds service to me, the customer, was insulting and just plain bad business.Business management should know what the legal amount is on a receipt. So many excuses and blame at me was a joke.

Haircut is great but dont let the kids get more than one sucker from the gar because the short hair lady must be the sucker police... lady no need for an attitude its a sucker and their kids!! And you probably didnt buy them anyway!!!!!!

For the last 2 months, my boyfriend has had horrible experiences with this place! Every time he goes, he has to go back and make them fix his haircut!! Today he gave them one more chance, and of course they screwed it up again!! One side of his head was somewhat faded ok and the other side was not faded AT ALL and had long chunks left behind. These stylists are horrible and spend all their time talking to each other instead of focusing on the work they are being paid to do!!! They all need to go back to school and relearn how to cut peoples hair!!!! After today, we will definitely be looking for somewhere else to go!

Literally I ask to keep the length on the front but what does she do? She gives me a bowl cut but with two lengths! And doesn’t do what I asked! Now my hair is even worse that the first time I went. If there was a zero star I would rate it that

Went to get my 2 year old a hair cut. First they couldn’t find me in the system when Ive never changed my number and then Karen proceeded to tell me what she was going to do with his hair. UMM no! I’m never coming back here!! His hair cut was crooked.

My haircut was kindof uneven, but what really got me was the lady that was cutting my hair had ear buds in the whole time listening to music. I wont be going back.

I have gotten a haircut at great clips for a long time now and the past 5 or so times it has been awful I would like to have my haircut right and not have to point out problems with my hair I got my hair cut yesterday and it looked awful and I asked for a Mohawk and she cut it off great clips has been awful the haircuts are terrible and more expensive than any of the good hair places around town I can get off with a better haircut for cheaper if I pay $14 dollars for a haircut I expect it to be exactly like I asked and I would expect to not had to get up and sit down 3 or more times to have the stylist correct it I will never go back to great clips and I would never recommend anybody to go here as a matter of fact I would tell people to stay away from great clips

I’ve used the Great Clips in Durant several times before for regular haircuts, and while the cuts aren’t “The Best” they have been completely satisfactory for the most part. I believe the primary reason has been due to the fact that they maintain a log indicating the type of cut, clipper size, taper, and so forth. My most recent trip was disappointing due to the fact that even after announcing that she had read the notes from the previous stylists, and after I had reaffirmed the contents of those notes, I still ended up with what was basically a teen-pop-singer’s version of a high and “kinda” tight. She was a sweet kid, but striving to be more meticulous with the details would serve her well.
