As I walked in the infusion room I was immediately greeted with 2 nurses that made me feel very comfortable. They explained what was happening and how long it would take. I was impressed with the entire experience. I won’t be nervous for my next visit now.

Everybody is always inviting and friendly. The wait was longer than usual but it wasn’t painful at all because of the awesome employees. Go at lunchtime and eat downstairs in the cafeteria because the food is outstanding.

Front desk check-in staff was very efficient and kind. The wait was short and the blood draw professional with just enough time and explanation to do the job well. My only negative to bring the experience down from a 5 was the personal conversation (complaining) among office employees in the front with patients a few feet from them in the waiting room. Its a customer service pet peeve of mine and strangely common in healthcare.

We visited the ER after my toddler fell down and had a gash on his head. We waited for hours for care. A 23 month old with a head injury waiting hours for care is unacceptable! I don’t blame the staff but rather administration, a nurse commented that they were short staffed because no one wanted to get the vaccine. So as one of the only hospital providing care in the area , they’d rather let great staff go for refusing the vaccine then retain them. The same staff that provided care at the peak of the pandemic are now being forced to get a vaccine or they lose their job. We walked out with a huge bill and as we were checking out they asked for payment , the bill was over a thousand dollars with private insurance for the worst care we have ever received , I wasn’t able to pay much and instead of accepting what I was able to pay , they wanted me to pay more. The injury was on his head and they didn’t check for a concussion, wash the blood from the area, or do hardly anything! As a result of them not washing the area we had to return to the ER because there was more than one wound. There was additional wait time even though it was their fault we returned since they failed to be thorough! This is a young child how could you be so negligent !I feel bad that they are so short staffed , and know that it was probably the best service they could provide given their limited staff. We used to receive great service when we went there but the circumstances changed and I highly doubt staff retention will be good moving forward, the staff that stay will be overworked and lose passion for the job they love .I’m not entirely opposed to the vaccine but it should be a personal choice to get it , especially for health care workers whom I trust their judgement if they decline the vaccine given their experience and education.

I received the 1st of 8 infusions on August 17. I was a bit nervous and was quickly put at ease by the staff. Everyone was kind, attentive, professional, and understanding. They work as a team. My 3 hour stay from check-in through the 1hour monitoring period following the infusion went by quickly and was completely stress-free. Thumbs up to an outstanding staff!

Over the past two years we’ve had multiple ER visits. I’ve always preferred Mercy over San Juan Regional. Today I completely made up my mind on that. It will always be worth the drive for us. Friendlier staff, MUCH cleaner, and MUCH quicker service. They never send us back to the waiting room with our infant/ or pregnant and I greatly appreciate that.

Went in for lab work fir my cancer surgery later this month and they were very busy but got me in fairly quickly. Once I was taken back the lady who drew my blood was very good as I really did not feel her insert the needle, I can’t watch, and just barely felt a small tug as she inserted it.

They were warm and kind but also professional. Efficient without seeming to be in a hurry. They did a thorough exam, answered my questions and gave me moral support. They addressed all of my concerns about how to navigate with my brace. I will definitely come back here for any medical needs.

A day after a national holiday, lab eas busy but the wait was reasonable. The lab technician who drew the blood sample was excellent, I actually did not feel the needle poke. Kudos to her. Also, gave understandable directions for the urine sample.

My mother in law is 92 years old, moves very slowly, and everything hurts. Its difficult to get her to go to any doctor appointment, so this was not an easy task. The technician was professional, compassionate, and wonderful with us, and made the whole experience easier for my mom in law. She was an angel in disguise. Thank you for everything you do! ❤

The moment I walked in, I was greeted and given direction to the check in station. I was checked in within minutes and given clear direction on where I needed to go with a map provided as well. I attended my appointment and was out of the hospital much quicker than I had anticipated. Everyone was friendly and courteous during my short stay. When I left, I felt all my questions were answered. Thanks for treating me as a human being, not another number in line.

I had to get stat flighted off the mountain due to HAPE, and landed in this emergency room. All of the staff was super friendly and caring. The male ER nightshirt doctor (didn’t catch his name) was very nice and concerning.Dr. Jillian Nickelsen took over for the rest of my stay and she was super sweet and helpful. She listened to all of my symptoms I experienced on the mountain and took me off of unneeded antibiotics. She has excellent bedside manner and didn’t rush out of the room.Scott in orthopedic (nurse) was a great nurse as well. He took great care of me and was super friendly.Great staff and friendly people. Even the food service. All and all I’m grateful I got stat flighted to Mercy hospital. God is good.

The radiology tech we saw today (and have seen once before) was nothing short of awesome. Such a great bedside manner with my teenage daughter. They got us in quick for the test, completed it efficiently, but we felt genuinely taken care of by a human - not rushed through the hospital system. Appreciated. Bravo!

Beth F in the ICU is the most amazing nurse I have ever met! She was so caring towards my partner when he was there….she treated him almost like family, with so much care and sympathy and respect. When he passed, I think the male nurse was John? He was also incredibly sensitive and helpful

The infusion nurses are truly professional as well as friendly. They are attentive to my needs and questions.Dr. Rupp is always thorough in her exam, based on the situation. She suggested bandage material to protect my incision, and followed through in obtaining it. When illness presented a possibility of pneumonia, Dr. Rupp ordered x-rays immediately. She truly seems to care about her patients!

The nursing staff makes you feel safe and comfortable. They answer your questions and give help if neededI was offered water. Juice. Turned on music and I got a wonderful foot massage with lavender lotion plus an eye mask and inhaler. I totally felt pampered and special!!!I don’t mind going since I am treated so well!!

Went for a blood draw and arrived 5 minutes early. Waited for about 2 minutes after checking in, went back, and was out of there in a total of 10 or 12 minutes. The front desk and clinical staff were great.

I particularly want to commend Linda who administered my ultrasound exam. She was polite, friendly, and efficient. Went to Clinic for urgent care with wheezy cough and laryngitis and sinusitis symptoms. I was carefully handled at car with paperwork and later escorted in where My symptoms were listed for the doctor. All staff was pleasant, cordial and attentive. Dr. Cain ordered an X-ray which ruled out pneumonia which was a huge relief. His diagnosis and treatment plan were on target. I began to feel much better within the first 12 hours after beginning medication. The puffer for the wheezy cough gave instant relief, and I was able to sleep soundly. Dr Cain called later that same day to answer a question, amazing on a holiday weekend! The staff called yesterday to follow up on how I was faring. I will definitely return there and recommend them to ALL I was extremely satisfied with the care

My experience was limited to radiology services. Due to an injury, an xray of my hip was required. Technician was patient and gentle when shifting the injured hip into different positions. The radiologist promptly reviewed the images and prepared a detailed report.

The staff at Mercy are skilled, friendly and made me feel very comfortable. It did take some time (ok, months) to get an appointment but it was worth the wait. They use EPIC for their electronic health record and had access to my records from Pennsylvania and New Mexico. I like that.

Arrived 30 minutes early for my appointment but only waited 10 minutes. Staff friendly, professional and welcoming. Technician could not have been better. This place typically treats my family well. However, I cannot ignore the gross neglect in mental health training, especially in their front desk staff. I do not know her name but the typically purple haired Lady whose name I dont know is cruel. My family has had many bad experiences with her. Everytime she is cold, interrupts, and doesnt offer so much as a smile. At a time where families experience hardship, it would be nice to have a person who cares. She obviously does not.PA Micheal Cavanagh is an example of no experience or no effort in mental health awareness in this facility. Even after being informed of my Manic Depression disorder with tendencies to disassociate. He demonstrated poor bed side manner, little patience, and no regard to my stability. He all but bullied me into allowing him to exam me, I cried the whole time because my trust at the point was zero and trust in being touched is everything to me. Like I said, typically this facility treat me and my family well, front desk staff excluded, but I cannot in good faith ignore this experience.

**Update**We had our baby boy here, and the staff were amazing!!!Thank you to you all!!!!Generally this has been a very good hospital so far. Our visits have been smooth with timely appointments and almost every staff member we have encountered has been great. My impression of this medical center is that the staff here care a lot. I am glad I chose this facility for my family.

Ill have to write a much longer review later, but for now Ill give them the 1 star to drop thier ego down a notch. I arrived shortly before the opening of the vaccination window from 830 to 3pm. I answered a few short questionnaires and was seen about 20 minutes later. The shot was painless. I waited around for 15 minutes post vaccination where I was checked out quickly, made my appointment for the second shot. And left for home. All in all a quick painless process.

My experience was excellent! The only drawback was quite a delay on getting into Surgery. I realize, of course, that those things do happen. However it did not ruin my experience. Everyone one was polite, friendly and attentive to my needs. They always smiled and put me at ease. I did not have any ‘pre-surgery’ jitters. ALL of the Staff acted professionally and made sure I felt at ease ( which is want a person needs when they are getting throat surgery!). 🤣🤣🤣

The team administering the Covid vaccine was well organized, attentive, and extremely professional. Surprisingly, many of them remembered me from the first shot as I have a medical condition that requires attention when getting vaccines. There is poor if any communication- between the doctors and nurses, & doctor nurses and patient. Not much of a wait till you actually get to a room. I sat there for 4+ hours seen the doctor twice. When first taken to room she listened to heart and then again when she said to get x-rays and heart monitor. Noone came to discuss labs, noone came to discuss x-rays, noone came to get detail history or info on events leading up to why I was there, and never given oxygen, orwarm blanket. I was released by nurse never saw Dr. again. Was prescribed muscle relaxers, blood pressure was still really high, was instructed by nurse that I needed to see family Dr for diagnosis.So I essentially will pay an extreme amount if $ to sit in a cold room, wear a drafty way oversized gown, my husband to sit in a hard and uncomfortable chair, be prescribed a medication that should not be taken if have high blood pressure, and know nothing more then before I walked in. I was in the medical field for 16 years- I am disgusted with/at the lack of everything this hospital, its doctors & nurses do not provide for people and should. Education, communication, and follow through would be nice from a place that portrays itself as being the best n the area and at what it does. . .

Tina , at mercy cardiology ( front desk ) is extremely rude. In my opinion at any Doctors office some people are dealing with some of the worse days of their lives. Having to deal with being sick plus, you never know what someone is dealing with. A little compassion goes a long way. Tina doesn’t have the finesse or the compassion to assist patients. She doesn’t listen to The patients nor does she care to. She seems like a hatful drill sergeant. She’s definitely not a team player ... I requested if the other lady that I spoke to left notes on my account? she said it doesn’t matter I’m speak with her now and they are booked . ( which my situation wasn’t about an appointment AT ALL it was about speaking to a nurse ) Side note Miss Tina ... every. Single. Person. That is an a patient at Mercy cardiology completely understands that cardiology is booked out a couple months. We’ve always understood that . However, my request at the time was not about an appointment.She was very rude to my dad ( which is now deceased) ( he was living the worst days of his life at the time .. and was very upset and crying when we got back to the vehicle because of the way she treated him ( he couldn’t answer fast enough for her and she was very short and snappy/hatful with him) when I brought him in for his appointment... completely sad how she speaks to the elderly.If you don’t like your Job Tina... move on. Be completely miserable by yourself instead of bringing others down with you. Plus it’s bad for business for Mercy cardiology.Hopefully, if you call mercy cardiology or have to go in and deal with the front desk. You don’t get Tina.I personally don’t understand why the staff/doctors keeps her. If she’s a good asset Shove her in the back somewhere instead of having her deal with patients.

The place was not interested in my medical issue. They seemed eerily keen on interviewing me about my political views however.Seemed more like a reeducation than a medical facility.They didnt look at my tumors at all; the charge nurse was trying her best to hide her anger at me and made it clear that they only provide care in a demeaning way.In all, the staff could use a course on basic human dignity and respect. Dehumanization is not an acceptable attribute for a healer, IMHO.

I had to have an xray taken. I was able to walk right in 3 people ahead of me, but the wait until my name was called was only 20 mins. After vitals were taken the Doctor came right in. The whole visit including xray was less than an hour. Everyone was super friendly and easy to smile. The Doctor was even telling jokes.
