I went to DentFirst Perimeter, very informal cold fast appointment. I use to go to Jamie, but she left and I was scheduled with Kristina, never met her before, but she confused me with someone else, as I have never had an appointment with her before, the cleaning was rushed and she never asked me if my teeth were sensitive when she was cleaning them. Then the dentist comes in quick before he starts his lunch and suggest I get my filling replaced, of course more money. Even though it was never recommended before.. I felt like I was in a fast food restaurant instead of the dentist. Very informal. Then I asked what the 360 degree xray was for, I was told it was something that needed to be done. Terrible place...

On this first and last visit, I found staff at this location to lack customer service skills. Perhaps it was due to my refusal to pay up front following a phone call while in route to appointment, that payment out of pocket would be required despite 100% coverage had been previously verified! Ratings: DENTAL HYGIENIST: 4 stars-Good job except, did not volunteer to share findings following x-rays. I had to pull information out of her as to whether cavities, plaque, etc were found; BENEFITS COORDINATOR: Zero stars-Demanded payment up front based on an internal policy, (for Humana Medicare insurance); DENTIST: Zero stars-Upon entering exam area, did not greet/ introduce self, speak nor attempt to make any eye contact with patient.

My experience here has been a great one. From friendly care you receive at check in, to the updated equipment they use as well as the hygienist informing you of information. I even like the tv on the ceiling above the chair :)

I have braces from a different provider so I come to DentFirst every 3 months for cleanings, usually with Francia. Scheduling is usually pretty easy and I dont wait long in the office. They address my concerns and its great that all the offices talk to each other because sometimes I visit the Duluth office. My only issue is that my normal hygienist doesnt clean as thoroughly as I would like. I feel like she could do a better job of cleaning and flossing around my braces.

Such a terrible experience, that caused a year of discomfort and pain. Like one of the workers jokeling said, some dentists do not want to retire because they think they can still work. Dr. wahn was sweating, jittery, and seemed to not see well, while doing my filling. I was left with 2 teeth that was not the same size, and extreme pain. When I flossed my floss would break because his repairing of the tooth was off, (he could not see). I now have a space between my teeth and a root canal. The worst part is he had me get a mouth guard that did not fit at all after the filling. bowsky (the owner, come to find out) had to repair it to the point I had get another (that was a terrible experience ). Theres more but I hope all that explained help keep you away. This is my terrible terrible experience.

I had such a great visit here. Friendly reception, easy to make an appointment, and honest service. I had felt “oversold” at another local dentist, but I felt well-cared for without selling me on additional services here. Highly recommend.

I am currently sitting in the dentist office while writing this. I am beyond frustrated. I called at 9:30am to see if they had any openings for a cleaning today because I have an orthodontist appointment at 7am on Wednesday. Brittany (receptionist) told me to come is they have an opening for 12pm this afternoon with Tracy(hygienist). I got here at 11:40am to complete my new patient paperwork. The time is currently 12:50pm and I have not been seen. I took my lunch hour to get my teeth cleaned. There was no communication about why I haven’t been seen. I had to walk up to the front desk and ask what is going on. That was when they realized that something was wrong.I have been here for over an hour and have been promised to be seen initially for 12:45pm, now the time has been pushed back to 1pm.After I wrote this I was take to the back by a hygienist only to be told that they couldn’t do X-rays on me without a medical clearance from my OBGyn because I’m pregnant. She then walks me back to the front to get the clearance form. The receptionist was unaware of the form location, she then proceeded to tell me that I may have to schedule an appointment for the clearance and come back another day. She also urged me to reschedule my appointment implying that this situation was my fault, when they did not inform me. I wound up not leaving until about 1:50pm. This is absolute MADNESS! Get your schedules together and communicate. I will not be returning.

I called to cancel an appointment due to illness and I was still charged for a missed appointment!!!!! $74.00 because I was sick is ridiculous!!!!!! And I was not made aware of the charge until I started receiving bill electronically, when the receptionist could have easily stated that there was a charge when I cancelled. This is crazyy!!!!

I’ve been going to Dent 1st for over 20 years. I just started going to the Dunwoody location as my office moved. I must say that Francia Young did a great job on the cleaning! Not too chatty and very gentle. I’ll be back to see her!

I’ve been a long time patient here and the service here has been consistent throughout the years with a great experience every time especially with Kristina!

Service not that great. I did not feel valued or well cared for. I was contacted 6 times, over the course of 2wks to reschedule an appt. I was told to arrive on a specific date/time only to be told that my appt. time was not reflecting in the system. The receptionist was so nonchalant and condescending about the situation, acting as though the scheduling mistake was my problem. Ive contacted the office manager, Liz, and lets just say I got absolutely no where. I have paid for the service but still have not gotten the 2nd part completed. Also, I had my root canal over 8 wks ago, had the crown created 4 wks ago and still have not had it installed. The adhesive they use to place temp crowns is obviously cheap and not of good quality because the temp crown came off 2 times. I was forced to make impromptu visits to have temp crown replaced, which impacted my work schedule. The service is trash!

My hygienist Kristina is very thorough with me. I leave feeling like my teeth received special attention and she give me tips to keep them clean. I would recommend Dentfirst perimeter to anyone.

I would not go back to DentFirst, They quoted me the wrong price for a Crown then the day of my appointment provided me with a total 5 times the price they quoted me. Had the crown installed and it was done incorrectly only to be told by the dentist I wouldnt be charged for the correction but received a bill in the mail. I only have kind words for Tracey who I will miss because she did awesome work cleaning my teeth.

The service was excellent today. There was sight confusing with the insuranceBut the hygienist was also, the manager jumped in and got the issue resolved. I will definitely be coming back here more often.

Staff is amazing! From new patient set up all the way down. My first visit was with Ms. Tracy. She was so sweet and patient. She was very gentle with my cleaning and made me feel brand new when I left. She gave me advice on flossing since it was one of my weaknesses. I took her advice and went for my second cleaning this past Monday and she noticed the difference! Made me feel great!! Thank you Ms. Tracy!! :) I will return in 6 months for follow up.

Had a great time. Cleaning went well and had good advice on taking care of my teeth. Had five cavities and need to get 9 teeth filled overall which sucks but that’s genetics fault, not theirs. Overall great experience even if I am not looking forward to the fillings at all.

I started out at the DentFirst in Smyrna and that didnt go to well. This location is way better.

If there was a rating of negative stars, I would have selected one.This is the worst place to go for your dental work. Doctors have decades of experience but they don’t have a basic etiquette of listening to the patient and on top of that they mess up simple cavity fillings and make it worse.One such doctor is Dr. Joseph Attardo. Your bad luck if he gets assigned to work on you. My advise – Run.He messed up my cavity filling so bad that my tooth has gotten worse. That guy filled one cavity and dug up another one. Which on asking to check again he says accidentally he shaved it off while adjusting the bite.Then he blames it on me that I did not tell him because I was numb! He’s got all that equipment, he should have seen.Anyway, there are better dentists out there, avoid this place.. specially Dr.Attardo !Edit 1 - 2/15/2019: The rest of the filling has started to come off now. This shows the horrible quality of work done. Ridiculous!!! I am attaching some pics for all to see.

Horrible, Ive been going here for years and they will not work with me as far as a payment plan. Teeth are expensive and were in hard times, i asked to pay for half the day of my Procedure and the other half next week. I got a flat out NO. I will not be coming back to Dent First, very disappointed

Worst experience,They told me to pay 300 deposit and I have receipt but the decline it and made me pay it a gain,Then I did cleaning and the confirm only 100 and collected , next visit they told me you have 400$ balance !!,want think of coming back again . I wish I can report this .

Had no interaction with doctor when I visited.I did get lot of good information from the assistant nurse but doctor just came and said some number and left.I was expecting it be more interactive , may be share with me how is my oral health is overall, what am I doing wrong. Which fix I need right away or if I can do something to fix it myself.I am giving it 3 stars because I heard really good things from my wife, so I guess depends on doctor.

Came here for a cleaning, it was done by Kristina Watts and she did a great job. I know I may be biased because she is my daughter but I can honestly say I was very proud of the way she did her job. Everyone in the office was very professional and friendly.

This was my first visit and everything was excellent. I appreciated the speedy service and everyone was really friendly. I need my wisdom tooth pulled immediately b/c of discomfort the only negative is that they only have one oral surgeon so there was a long wait just for a consult but they can give a referral for an oral surgeon outside the practice that may be sooner. But overall my visit today was great and I’ll return back for my next visit.

Dr. Arturo is the preferred dentist at my insurance and I can see why. He took a lot of special care to make sure that everything was just perfect that I knew what he was doing and I was happy with it. The staff in the office they have plenty of people to make sure it’s all done correctly.

Called last minute with complaint of tooth pain. The office was able to fit me in and I waited less than 15 minutes. Saw Dr. Attardo, he was very professional with a warm and sincere demeanor. He explained everything, step by step prior to which made me very comfortable. Quick and easy filling done. Such expertise and professionalism. I highly recommend. His assistant, Brenda was awesome as well. Overall, great experience....definitely 5 star!!

UPDATE: The dental hygienists are amazing, however the office manager is a beast. I was told I would not be charged for something since it was faulty work. Guess what I GOT A BILL. When I called, the office mgr acted all indignant and stated fillings need to be replaced every two years. Have you EVER!!! Plus the note on the computer stating no charge is mysteriously gone. She did say she would correct it. We will see. Just so everyone knows Dent1st only provides fillings to last up to two years per their office manager. Not sure that is the quality I prefer.Had a great experience with Tracy! Expert job, made coming to the dentist fun (never thought I would say that after Jaime left me) ❤

I have heard so many great reviews about this office , even was referred here , and decided to give it a try well to my surprise on my visit I was not happy or pleased. I was scheduled for treatment and when I get to the office Im sitting there for 30-40 minutes to find out that I couldnt be seen, all because of a discrepancy in the system from years ago where I my information could not be located in the system , and Im wondering why couldnt this situation have been handled before I took the time to take off work and come here to not even be seen, and then to be told that I would get a call when the solution can be resolved, and to make matters worst I also have a second appointment scheduled which may have to be cancelled seeing that there is no solution to the first problem.
