I want to start up front by saying that I might be a little bias due to the fact that I am the Executive Chef at this facility, (Ill do my best not to brag about the food lol ) but This facility is a great facility. The look and feel of this facility is very cozy, kinda of a at home feel, and quite personal. Where as maybe in some other larger facilities your family member might not feel as recognized just due to the sheer intimation of the size of the building. The staff here is very friendly, and we are constantly evolving to try to make sure our residents have an exceptional living while with us here at Country Gardens. Currently we are implementing a outside garden where our residents can plant some new flowers and or fruits and vegetables, that they can nurture and call there own. (Hopefully we can get some spices for me in that garden ;-) ). As for my side of things, I am constantly evolving our menu due to the residents likes and dislikes. So I try to get as much feed back as I can with the residents to see if there is any additions that they might want to see on the menu, and or anything that they might want to remove. I have an activity with them called Ask The Chef and during this time I sit with them, and collect information like favorite childhood dishes, different cuisine interests, and desserts that they might want eat more of. I use this info to make sure that the kitchen can better serve them. My number one goal as the chef, is to ensure that our residents dining experience is something to look forward too day in and out. I believe eating can be a very intimate, and social thing, and I want to make sure that I do my best to setup the appropriate setting for that very thing to occur. I hope this review helped limit down your choices when looking for a place, for your family member, or at least encouraged you to come and check us out at Country Gardens. Feel free to come in and say to me if you decide to stop by. Im Chef Peter.

A great senior community with exceptional caregivers that genuinely care about the residents. Lori who heads up the Activities does a great job and keeps their calendar full.I highly recommend this Assisted Living facility! 5 STARS!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Not a pleasant place to work. Turn over rate is extremely high. I would never allow my loved one to live there. Care is very poor!Resident Care Aids and Nurses are over worked and underpaid. The worst company Ive ever worked for.

The facility its absolutely beautiful. Personally I wouldnt work there though. I interviewed with the Executive Director at this location and started the hiring process. I later declined the position. Due to the lack of respect and professionalism from executive director. During the hiring process. I was rudely yelled at more then once. I was called incompetent and belittle. Due to the Directors own errors and lack of effective communication (I had to complete on boarding package online. Which the Director disrespectfully yelled at me. For not completing something he never send. When realizing he did not send the paperwork. He stated oops silly me and then yelled at me for his mistake. There is more but too much to list) . I personally I try to be very respectful and professional. Yet the way this director talks to people and lack of common respect. Will almost make you lose your cool. Due to his lack of respect and courtesy for people, there time, and money( at this facility you have to pay for your own tests. Meaning physical, TB shot, drug screening, and background check. Which is not a problem. As long as he dont have you making two and three trips like me. To get the test and paperwork. Due to lack of communication and the Director blaming you. For him not correctly informing you of the documents needed.) There is no use in contacting upper management because they have a lack of Interest in complaints. My review is to inform others of my experience. Also maybe it will help in this facility and the way it operates. I wish the facility and its growth well. I am just very unhappy with the treatment I received. As well as the lack of respect, and accountability from the Director. During the hiring process at this facility..

We recently placed our mom into assisted living and after investigating several facilities around Atlanta, chose Plantation South of Dunwoody. The management and staff were very helpful during this difficult transition. They have guided our family with all aspects which have included suggestions on financial and the ever difficult emotional roller coaster we all have been going through. Our mother was very independent so this move has not been easy for her, but the folks at Plantation have become ever familiar with her needs. This has made her feel much more a member a group rather than an outcast or number. We have been amazed at her attitude change only after two short months. We visit her often and every person there has always been friendly and most helpful. Were very happy and proud with our decision to have made Plantation South Dunwoody our moms new home.
