One of the kindest doctors I have ever met. He was always patient & understanding while working with my 90 year old mother. We miss him so!

Ive never had an issue with this doctor. I see him (usually, unless theres an emergency - then I see the PA, who is great) every 6 months when I have my pacemaker check. Dr Vega listens to my concerns and explains the whys of what Im experiencing, or what hes ordering. No one in this office has been anything other than polite and kind to me when I ask questions, call for information, etc. Yes, sometimes theres a longer wait than others - Im not sure why (over-booking?) but I also see a lot of folks who just dont show, or cancel at the last minute, so I can understand a little over-booking. All in all, Im satisfied

Dr. Vega saved my life!!!!! My third heart attack, last doctor did not place me on a medicine regime! !!! That almost cost me my life, had it not been for Dr. Vega I would not be writing this review. His office staff is stellar, office is clean, easy access, parking area clean, quick access to hospital.

He put me on meds I didnt even need

Absolutely the worst ! After seeing this dr for 2 yrs never actually seeing or talking to him himself . I got admitted 2 years into it to the medical center in Macon with chest pains have a heart attack with a stress test . do a heart cath the Dr there takes me off a med the p.a. in Vegas office had me on and laughs about it . I go in for a check up (Vegas demanding to see Vega (see Alicia who explains this could be mental . put my hand in a cup of Ice the next time my heart hurts . ups the dose of meds I wasnt suppose to be taken that was on the 6th it was inderal puts me back on plavics and refills my meds then i left come Friday the 10th I went to get the meds , to find they were never called in so I called about 1 and left a message no one called back called back around 3 to find out it was the answering system . they refused to call the Dr . finally they called Vega was the rudest man Ive ever seen he said inderal was a psycho med for panic attacks I needed to call my family doc for that .I said funny yall put me on it for tachicardia . who am I to believe this is supposed to stop irregular heart beat ! And plavix whats that for . you get that from your regular Dr . this is not anything I should be bothered with on a Friday ! I said do you not understand if the job was done to begin with I wouldnt be calling you now he said called your pharmacy ! I asked what would that do he said youd figure that out . for a man to have a regards to a patient thats been his for 2 years that hes never even laid eyes on nor spoke to and thats the way he treats them ! Yea I dont think he or his clowns of I dont know why I am prescribing or what I am prescribing meds dont need and of my insurance money !!!!!!

He is a awesome Doctor, try him before you try anyone else!!!!

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had at a physicians office!!!! 2 hours after my appointment time I was still waiting to see the doctor only to be told I was being seen, if I ever got seen, by the PA and not the doctor. The office staff was rude and when I complained about having to wait so long I was told I could reschedule!!! What am I supposed to do waitanother 2 hours plus to not see the doctor?????
