I relied on google reviews for my decision to come here, and I think I’ve been let down. Staff is very nice, which is why I am giving them 3 stars instead of 1. To get an appointment, expect to wait almost a month. Then, just to order glasses they wanted me to wait another 3 weeks for an appointment to look. I suggest they simplify their customer experience and allow people to just order glasses instead of making us wait weeks for an appointment and then sit us down for an hour to fit and finish. I know what I want, I’ve done this numerous times in the past. I understand how this works, I’ve worn glasses and contacts for two decades. I don’t need to be put through a rigorous fact finding sales process, I simply want to point and order glasses. Just take my money, I don’t care that you are extremely overpriced.. but make it easy for me at the least.

From the moment I walked in for my first appointment, I felt like the entire staff was committed to making me, as a patient, feel like a guest. The attention to detail was incredible. Dr. Peterson was able to correct my prescription better than I imagined and provided new contact options which have made a world of a difference. Angie helped me pick out a new pair of frames and I appreciated her attention to detail during the entire process. I highly recommend Visionology to anyone seeking a great doctor, experience, and vision!

Dr. Peterson was friendly, very thorough and made sure I understood each part of the eye exam. The rest of the team was friendly and was ready with insurance breakdown, ect. so I was able to easily make decisions. Of course I loved the lack of the air puff!

We have purchased glasses from here, never used the eye dr though. Kelsey is so friendly and helpful and patient. The kids just adore her and she makes the process of picking out frames and ordering the glasses so easy. The other ladies that work in the front are always so friendly and pleasant, such a nice change from where we were!

I have been to a few different eye doctors for astigmatism and keratitis, and now I wish I had found Visionology sooner. I switched from Costco to Visionology for a couple reasons and so glad I did. Dr Peterson is so kind and very knowledgeable and personable and Kelsey was great too. The office is nice with great technology but at the same time it’s less expensive to get an eye exam than most places I’ve checked. Would definitely recommend them!

My whole family has now been to Visionology and have had such a great experience. The staff is beyond welcoming and make what can be an unpleasant experience a fun and easy one. I got some great glasses for nighttime driving, while my son and husband got some non prescription sunglasses. My daughters got some blue light filtering non prescription glasses for all the work they do on their computers now for school. We just picked those glasses up and my son saw where we were and got all excited, saying that he loves this place! Thank you!

Visionology is hands down the best eye exam I’ve ever had. The staff was friendly, the doctor was knowledgeable, and the experience was laid back.It took a while to book me in, but that’s to be expected during a pandemic. They fit me in and the service was great upon arrival. No worries from me... nor should that be a reasonable complaint from anybody else.Recommended to all w/ two big ol’ thumbs up.

This is by far the best vision center you can go to, hands down!My wife has needed glasses since she was a baby (astigmatism), so we have gone to so many places that I’ve lost count already. Though out of all the places that we have gone to, this will be the first one we will actually be returning to and keep coming to.They greeted us by name the moment we walked in and offered us drinks. Everyone was super friendly, prompt, and patient. Even the doctor was super friendly and super patient with all our questions, since we just recently had a baby and wasn’t sure if she was going to eventually need glasses. We are use to other places always trying to rush us out, especially the eye doctor, but not here, this place is definitely different than the rest.Then at the end they gave my wife a bag with some chocolates and a little bottle of lenses cleaner that we can take back for free refills!

I brought my daughter here after she failed her vision screening at school. The doctor put her at ease and the exam was quick and thorough. I loved that they had the technology available to not have to use drops to dilate her eyes. They helped us pick out the perfect frames for her and had our glasses ready to pick up at least a week before the original estimate. It was a great experience!

Visionology was my first ever eye doctor appointment. Not only did they give me clear directions, kind service, and a large variety of selection, they gave me information that was straightforward. When the time came for choosing frames, they did not push or force any specific frames or styles, they let me choose and answered questions along the way!I ended up purchasing two frames for my lenses and they gave me updates and recommendations for follow up appointments.When it came to financing, they were straight up in telling me options with and without insurance, and the pros and cons of each.I felt heard, I felt confident, I felt excited to transition to wearing glasses!They even emailed me later to ask about possible contact lenses!

I have visited Visionology 3 times. Each time, there is hardly a wait. During my first visit, I was looking to get a pair of glasses made. The staff sat down with me and went through my options, pricing it out, taking the time to explain everything. As I did not have vision insurance, I decided to hold off purchasing glasses that day. The staff was so understanding, and gave me an invoice so that I could return in the future and not have to go through all this again. I finally got vision insurance, and made an appointment for an eye exam asap which brings me to my 2nd visit. Dr Peterson is very knowledgeable. I have been to many eye doctors over the decades, so I know what to expect. After the eye exam, I made my glasses, and they had all the prior information handy. I was informed by email/text message when the glasses arrived. So on my 3rd visit, I picked up my glasses, again minimal wait. Tried it on, was provided all the necessary kits to keep the lenses clean. Its been an awesome experience and I highly recommend Visionology where Dr Peterson and his team are clearly dedicated to providing the best care possible.

This is the only place I have ever been that greets us by name when we walk in the door. They offer you a drink whether you are staying for a while or just picking up. They are always incredibly kind and never pushy with any service or product. Ive never been to an optometrist so ready to help their customers in any way possible. Theyve nailed professionally and personally every aspect of customer service.

We had three great recent experiences at Visionology. An exchange student staying with us had to be examined for possible eye protection with prescription lenses being used on an athletic team. He was treated extremely professionally like an adult even though he is under age. The exam was extremely thorough and successful with the student asking several questions. He even asked about how the examination equipment functioned. Dr. Peterson answered all the questions and made several suggestions for the student on how to keep his eyes protected for sporting events. New contact lenses were the option chosen by the student. Dr. Peterson completed the prescription and helped put in the first trial pair to be used for a few days. The staff ordered a 12 month supply. A few days later we went back to pick up the order and verify everything. A week later, my wife eyes were examined for possible new glasses. The conclusion was that her current prescription was still adequate and no change was needed. During all these visits, we were treated like we really were friends and not patients or customers. We never felt sales pressure but were given many options including not buying anything. We will definitely go back to Dr. Peterson and Visionology.

I had a great experience with Visionology. The receptionist was very kind, timely, and offered me a drink while I waited for my appointment. (I didn’t wait long) During my appointment, I actually felt like a person and like I was being heard, whereas other Eye Doctors I have gone to treated me like I was just another number, and not like a human being. The Doctor was very kind, and I expressed my concerns as well as want to get PRK surgery in the future. He recommended SMILE surgery, which I had never heard of, but after much research this is definitely the route I want to go for. So thankful and grateful to be heard, seen, and understood while also being treated kindly. I’ve recommended Visionology to all of my family, and would definitely recommend them to anyone else.

I needed an eye appointment as prescribed by my medical doctor to diagnose a serious situation. When I called, they told me that I would have to wait over 5 weeks. They are blaming Covid cleaning as an excuse. I am a business owner who has to sanitize a far greater area continually, and it can be done effectively in minutes. After being a very dedicated customer for a long time who has referred others, Im being forced to find another provider to help determine my medical needs. This is very disappointing and therefore I can no longer recommend this business. Bad service is bad service.

My dad referred me here a few years ago and now both my husband and I come here and they truly treat you like VIP. Ive attempted to go other places out of convenience as we dont live nearby.. After having a horrible experience with a cookie cutter place that completely gave me the wrong prescription, I refuse to ever go anywhere else. Its worth the drive and worth your sanity! They also have the best technology where you dont have to go through the eye dilating process. I love them and I love when I leave they put a couple york peppermint patties in my bag everytime. There are two things that make up a good OPD. Doctor and the staff. Dr. Peterson is amazing, he listens, thorough in his examination and will suggest the best. I have a rare eye disease and he could identify it exactly what it is. The ladies in his staff are very professional and will make sure you get what you need.

I have been seen by Dr. Peterson twice now and each time has been a great experience. The staff are very friendly and nice (they had fruit snacks for my two little boys!) Visionology was an excellent choice. Its prices run at a little more of a premium but you also get a proportionate premium experience to match. Ive worked as an optician in the past making me even more fussy than most people would be. I had shopped around a few of the local eyeglass stores around, some had a significantly large selection but Visionology somehow still managed to have the most frames that looked great. (They are higher end brands.) They also treated me the best overall. Their opticians were incredibly helpful. I worked with Melissa I believe.One unique thing they offer is a more precise refraction. Typically your prescription goes in quarter steps ie. -.25, -.50,-.75, etc. Visionology uses an iScription that specifically maps you eyes prescription down to the one hundredth essentially making it the most accurate it could ever be. This improves night vision among other things. As someone who wears glasses all the time, thats huge for me.I was also going to get the blue light filter for my lenses but the doctor recommend against it because of my profession in graphic design. Im grateful that he cared to make sure I got exactly what I needed. There was no pushy overselling.If you can afford the comparatively slightly higher prices, youll get a very exceptional experience at Visionology.

I wrote to visionology through Facebook on a sunday to ask questions about my eyes. Dr Peterson thought I should be seen immediately to see if my retina was detaching and agreed to meet me that day at 4pm during the pandemic. He took great care of me, spent a lot of time talking me through my symptoms and his observation/evaluation. I did not expect to see anybody during the quarantine especially on a Sunday afternoon but so grateful for his service and kindness. Will certainly be back!

This was the first time getting glasses for our 6 years old daughter. We went to almost more than 15 different stores to find the right size/shape glasses, and since we didn’t have any experience, and no help was being provided from the sales people, we couldn’t find the right one, and we were very frustrated.Until we found Visionology. Everyone in this office was so nice and helpful. They even ordered the glasses they didn’t have in store for us to try. And finally with their help and extra efforts, we found the right size glasses for our daughter. Since we got the glasses, we have gone back couple of times for adjustments, and again their support was amazing.We totally recommend this office, for their super nice doctor, employees, and the great service.

Wonderful customer service, we have been repeat customers for three years now and I cant say enough good about this office. The Visionology team has taken exceptional care of each member of my family and really demonstrated that they know their stuff.Dr. Peterson has state of the art eye exam equipment and he was able to make an early detection of a rare eye condition that my daughter has. We were able to get the right treatment early on before she experienced any permanent vision loss. Dr. Peterson even followed up with us by phone on the weekend to make sure she was doing okay. It was a scary time and I really appreciated his extra concern for us.My 8 year old son is rough on glasses and I have been grateful to take advantage of they excellent warranties they offer. When he broke his Ray Ban frames while rough housing at recess, they were covered under warranty and Visionology was able to get them replaced in less than a week for free. He also had a minor scratch on one lens and when we stopped in for a routine annual checkup on another visit, the technician offered to replace the lenses without me even realizing there was a scratch or expressing concern about it.I bought new glasses and sunglasses this past March from Visionology for me. I feel like a million bucks wearing my new frames. I had tried on several and realized I loved the pair that the technician was wearing that day. She offered to let me try on her pair and she took them right off her face and handed them to me so that I could have a chance to look at them. So nice! I ended up buying an identical pair, she has great taste!Give this group a try, whether it is something superficial or a more serious eye issue, they will make sure you are well taken care of.

They are amazing! We love coming here for eye exams. Dr Peterson is very personable and easy to talk to. The staff are very well trained and friendly.

Expect to pay a lot extra for everything. Doesnt matter if you have vision insurance or a groupon or whatever. First time coming here I had a groupon saving me a couple hundred dollars. Still walked out spending around $500 for a pair of glasses (didnt know that until the very end of everything). Next few times went for contact fittings, thought I was going in for a free exam checkup and contact fitting and walked out paying $100, didnt know until everything was done. Went to try on a pair of contacts for the second time and the doctor was a little upset that I came in at all. He preferred to special order some contacts before I tried another pair. Horribly way of doing business. Got super busy and after trying 2 different brands/kinds of contacts that didnt work they wouldnt let me try another pair without a new $60-$100 contact fitting. Why do i even pay for vision insurance? Pathetic. Just save your money and get lasik. The frame of the glasses i got from them broke after 2 years and that was the extent of their warranty.All this being said, the doctor there seems to be pretty good at his practice. Just nickle and dimes you the whole way.

This place is a gem! The staff was super friendly and took their time with my daughter. The Doc was thorough and friendly. The prices are way better then Standard Optical and Americas Best. Defiantly would recommend anyone coming here.

I went in for a second opinion, and am very glad I did. Dr. Peterson did a great job of reviewing my diagnosis, and took the time to really understand my needs, and make some great recommendations. He came in early to see me so I could keep another appointment. The staff was great too. Thank you very much for a job well done.

The service is incredible! I enjoyed the hands on approach of the staff. They listened to the concerns I had regarding my current RX and glasses and helped me select a pair of glasses that would fit my individual needs.

Visionology is one of the best! Kelsey, Jova, and Dr Peterson were all some of the most accommodating and willing to go above and beyond type service. They were willing to see me on last minute notice and just at closing time. I would trust them to any of my closest friends and family! Thanks!

Dr. Michael Petersen and his staff were incredibly courteous and extremely helpful. I went in to get new glasses and they walked me through the process and made it enjoyable. They took the time to make me feel at ease. I would gladly recommend them to anyone.

I was in a bind with some glasses problems for my son. They went out of their way to help me get them quickly. We have been customers for years and will remain loyal customers.

They were easy to get in and get what we needed. Like most vision places they tried to upsale us on a lot of features, but they werent pushy and we got a fair price. Dr. Peterson was very nice.
