I have been going to Hidden Valley Eye care for years. Their service has never once let me down. Friendly staff, always so helpful with answering questions and fixing any issues you might have with your glasses. My eye doctor is kind and helpful too! I would recommend them to anyone. I think Hidden Valley is one of those places where you go, and you can’t ever go anywhere else because you’ll never find something else that good! Oh, they have a great selection of glasses as well!

The Dr. will take time to listen to any concerns and address them. The office staff is friendly and really helpful in finding the perfect frame. I would give more stars if I could. My eyes are super unique and tough to get a prescription that I can see with. Dr Mackay not only took the time to get it right, but for the first time in years I have 20/20 vision with contacts! Highly recommend!

The technology used for your appointment is A1A, top notch! A couple years ago my wife talked me into going to another doctor. I swear they were so far behind I thought they were going to put leaches on my eye lids to help me see better. It made me realize rather quickly that going anywhere else for my eye care is a mistake.Did I mention the people? All I’ve met there are professional, helpful and so friendly. Chris is the best! I have been going to Hidden Valley Eye Care for 12 years. I keep coming back because Kristine is like family and has upped my game on eyewear. I love the high end selection available and the assistance Ive received from Kristine for over 10 years. She knows which glasses I am going to pick before I do and it is a fun experience. She is also a wizard on insurance. I look forward to my VSP insurance annual visit for an exam and to pick out new glasses to add to my collection. Came in to get assistance with some very expensive eye glass frames that ended up not fitting correctly. Bought prior at this location‘Lorrie’ was very unsympatheticZERO help with the situation, even though I have bought multiple pairs of expensive $$ glasses from here in the pastDon’t recommend.Spend your money at Eye glass world right down the street. Super helpful and friendly team there instead..

My family has been so happy with Kristine and the team at Hidden Valley. I have to admit that we were simply driving by and had “put off” getting my daughter an eye exam over a year ago. Well, we stopped and were so happy we did! Their selection of frames is almost as good as their caring and family oriented service! We found very quickly that we were and ARE much much more than simply a patient, and that Kristine treats us much more like family. And, similar to any family, everyone is different, has “good days” and “bad days” and Kristine has been SUPER accommodating and understanding. With everything going on in our society and the COVID protocols, she took the time to text my wife many times. Where we still had concerns, she personally called and spoke with my wife and to come to a mutually agreeable solution. WOW! This is unfortunately so I heard of in today’s world and Hidden Valley deserves a chance to show you how different they are!Stop by for a visit and you’ll never go anywhere else. 5-Stars way way up!

I love this eye doctor! The facility is new and clean and has so many options when it comes to frames, quality of lenses, contact lenses, and general eye care. Jason Mackay has extensive knowledge on the latest eye care technology and will help you find the perfect fit for your needs and wants. Their receptionist, Holly, is also SO kind and SO helpful and will really take the time to make sure youre taken care of. I would definitely recommend paying them a visit!

I/my family have been going to Hidden Valley Eyecare and Dr. Bradley Rice for 10 years. Their office/equipment is clean and up to date. The staff is helpful, professional and courteous each time I communicate with them. I appreciate the knowledge and information Dr. Rice provides at appointments. All my questions are answered and I do not feel rushed. I will continue going to this office/Dr. Rice as I feel confident in the care my family receives there.

The office is immaculately clean. Lots of good lighting and once an appointment is made they don’t keep you waiting very long. They also have state of the art equipment so getting an exam done outlines every detail of your eye.However, this facility was my first time going to a “private” optometrist and I was surprised by the pricing. They did not disclose how much it would be upfront they did that at the end, and for a simple Eye Exam and Contact fitting was $292. I don’t think it was worth it.One Doctor here is extremely knowledgeable but I feel he uses scare-tactic too heavily. As I was in there he gave a very long drawn out speal about contact care and wearing any other kind of contact other than dailies is more prone to infections, and it was very long. I only ended up getting dailies because I like dailies due to less hassle, not because of his sales technique. I don’t like this because it was obviously a way to get me to buy daily contacts and less about trying to inform me. Can’t help but feel everything is an upsale here. Or maybe I know more than the common person.I probably won’t be going back because it was too expensive.

Dr Bradley Rice was great, he took a lot of time with me. Christine was an excellent help in finding a pair of glasses I liked and was patient while I decided. They were able to get me in and out fast without any waiting. Great selection of frames as well!

Terrible service! Staff continually ordered the wrong glasses for my daughter yet had no problem taking our payment first. We’ve been trying to get the correct ones for 3 months now with no luck. There is a woman named Holly there who just needs to give up on life- she’s so incompetent on even the smallest of task.Update : new frames are NOT the same and photos were taken to prove this. Unfortunately, Hidden Valley Eye Care was the wrong place to go for toddler glasses.

The Dr. and staff was so great to my 5yr old that wanted to help with everything. They made the process fun and he is already asking to go back.

The quality of eyecare/vision is exceptional!! The doctors are so personable and the staff are so kind to work with! I’d been suffering from eye irritation and thought it was allergies but after looking into my eyes he identified the problem—I had really dry eye patches and he asked if I might sleep with my eyes open! LOL! I totally do! He offered some lubricant eye drops and it did the trick!! In just one year my vision changed dramatically (turning older helps with that) but he got me the right lense strength I needed and WOW! Seeing is believing!

I have struggled for years to find a doctor that could help me get 20/20 vision with contact lenses. I am an airline pilot and hate wearing prescription glasses, but having a stigmatism and being VERY near sighted, it’s been a challenge. I traveled down from Spokane, WA to meet with Dr. Mackay for help. He was amazing. He paid special care and was very patient with me. Within one hour he had me in a new kind of contact lens that has allowed me to see better than I have in well over 5 years. Going in for my annual flight physical will no longer be a source of stress for me as I can now easily pass my 20/20 vision test. I cannot thank Dr. Mackay and his staff enough.

We have gone to Hidden Valley Eye Care for about 7 years now. The staff is wonderful and the eye doctors have done a great job every time.

They close at 1pm on Saturday. What!? We drove all the way from Kaysville for my grandma because she was told by a friend how great the store is but they close at 1pm. That is way too early on a Saturday to close. We didnt make it by 40 minutes. :(

The doc was ok BUT the glasses we’re extremely expensive! And they made me pay $50.00 copay instead of the $20.00 we thought we would need to pay ( they said they neglected to tell us before the eye check)! How convienient.

I have to say I am continually amazed by Dr. Mackay and his knowledge and care for our eyes in a way we don’t ever consider to be as important as he does. The testing techniques and equipment he has in his office is unlike anything I have ever seen before.Dr. Mackay tests your eyes several different ways to ensure the proper health and to teach awareness of what taking care of your eyes properly will do for us. I am a huge Fan of Dr. Mackay and his staff that I would just say make an appointment and see what I am talking about!I would give this place 5 stars all day long! They truly are the Best in town!!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Brad Rice for 14 or 15 years. I went to him after having a bad experience with my previous doctor when I was having problems with my contacts. Instead of making me feel like an idiot, like my previous doc did, Dr. Rice found out what my problem was and worked with me until we found a resolution. Dr. Rice really cares about his patients and wants whats best for their eyes and their all around health. His staff is also the best - very friendly and very helpful. Ill be sticking with Hidden Valley Eye Care for as long as theyre around!!

Tried to pick out some glasses on Tuesday November 20th and they were closed for a staff training. Dont worry though, I have many other marginal vision businesses to pick out overpriced glasses.

Cant say enough nice things about Dr. Brad Rice and his team at HVE! My son has been seeing him since her first got contacts in the 4th grade, hes now a freshman in HS. The time the team has taken with him in getting him through this process has been so helpful to me as his mom. I see Dr. Brad too and love him! They even call me when they have a cancellation making it super easy for me to get in, who does that?! Highly recommend!

Love these guys...Dr. Mackay is great. I lost a contact and havent had my eyes examined in years, they were able to get me in the same day I lost the lense, map my eyes and get me going with glasses. My glasses came earlier than promised as did my contacts. The office staff has always been way helpful even before I became a patient.Dr. Mackay put me in a new type of lense and was way patient with me in learning how to get them in and out. Working on getting the rest of my family in to Dr. Mackay. Dr. Mackay is on the top of his game! Great practice, great location and great experience.

Amazing facilities, wonderful doctors. The staff is friendly and helpful, and their selection of eyewear is great. They have very impressive technology and my exams are always very thorough. When I decided I wanted Lasik, they walked me through the process, including getting me into the best surgeon in the country. Dr. Rice did all my follow-up care and was amazing. He remembers me every time, even if its been months since my last visit. I highly recommend this eye doctor.

They take the time to answer questions and provide answers to and reassurance about any concerns you might have.I went to a nationwide chain optical store previously and had a bad experience with being rushed through my appointment and not given any time to ask questions, nor even informed about my childrens prescriptions and the changes that had occurred in their eyes.My experienced at Hidden Valley Eyecare was the polar opposite! All of my and my childrens questions were answered, we were treated kindly and with respect, and were given plenty of time for our appointment and didnt feel pressed for time at all. Dr. Rice even found an issue with my husbands eyes and referred him to an ophthalmologist for further testing. I had an appointment scheduled. I took time off from work, and arrived. They said I had no appointment scheduled. I triple checked my phone to confirm that I had called them up to set up the appointment. They either made a mistake, or canceled my appointment without contacting me first.
