So this is kinda funny. After having problems for a year at this location and finally giving a 1 star review. It seems like whom ever is in charge of there reviews decided to write one on us. I was hoping it would get better , being honest after my experience as a client for over 2 years I am canceling our memberships now.20 min after my review, our company received a 1 star review from a weird account.with no name. Hmmmmmm seem suspicious. I will be in this week to cancel, I wish this place was better there are some great individuals there. Your review was earned. We have scheduled several time, and when we get canceled there is a charge, but when you cancel on our last 3 appointments 1 hour prior to our appointment we receive nothing just an apology. Great business

Canceled on my daughter for her birthday massage 10 minutes before her appointment. Didn’t offer a different service. Wanted me to believe there was an emergency. 10 min before? Wouldn’t the therapist been at work already?? Oh when I brought that up all of a sudden she got real snippy. Got caught in a lie. Theyd rather lose a customer or two then make things right. Sad day for customer service.

We have been a member for a long time. If we cancel per there guidelines we are docked. The last 3 appointments made they have canceled the day of the appointment with no compensation. I would recommend not using this company.

I got a gift card and went in for my first massage. The employees were all really helpful and courteous. I’ll definitely be scheduling regular appointments.

My massage was amazing but it was supposed to be 60 minutes and was actually about 50. Disappointing. And you just have to live with it because there’s no classy way to say “GET BACK HERE AND RUB ME FOR LONGER.”

Wow, I cant praise this place enough. Lauren was amazing. Really relaxing massage with a wonderful technique. I went in stressed and anxious and left without a worry. I will for sure be going again.

3/21: I was craving a facial and have yet to find my go-to place when I received a H&S mailer. I called them up, same day, to have a One-Hour Signature Facial done. They were able to squeeze me in the next afternoon on a Monday.After I made the appt. over the phone, I got a couple missed calls from them but no voicemails. I called them back, and they said they needed a credit card to put down in case of cancellations. I really had no choice if I wanted to book with them, so I hesitantly agreed. Im not a fan of this, but I get it. Plus reading reviews about other peoples credit card charge issues with H&S makes me nervous.I came in a little early for my appt. the next day, but waited 15mins past my scheduled time in order to start with Kylie. The front desk and she were very friendly and apologized for the wait, but I was annoyed that my One-Hour Facial turned into a 45 minute facial (I checked my phone when I walked out). I will look out for this next time and look for another spa if this happens again.Kylie gave me an excellent, relaxing, rejuvenating facial despite the shorter appt. length. I brought in an Intro coupon (from the mailer) that listed the facial for $59.95 plus another coupon for a free spa upgrade. I was able to do a $20 add-on that I unfortunately cant remember the name of and cant find the name of it on their website without calling. I really liked how Kylie talked me through each step while allowing me to relax and that the extractor tool vibrates! It seems WAY more efficient and is able to get full coverage of the face in a short amount of time.I was suggested some product by Kylie when we were done, but I held off. I wanted to see how my skin looked after a few hours before jumping the gun.I ended up signing up for the monthly service before leaving because $59.95 a month is pretty good for a one-hour facial (if its one hour), and I just love that extracting tool -- I feel like I got more bang for my buck.I bought a Groupon so I am going to try Massage Green Spa by my house to see how they compare since Im not completely sold on this yet!4/28: I just got a massage with Jason today, and it was an amazing experience.The massage was excellent, it actually lasted the full hour, and I no longer have nagging pains and soreness throughout my body.He really listened to what I was looking for (which was deep tissue) and delivered. I already booked for next month! Definitely worth the membership.5/3: Last time I was in for a massage, I inquired about the massage training program that H&S is now offering. I had gotten an email about it a week or so before, then submitted an inquiry form and never heard back. When in person, my masseuse told me the manager was at the front desk, so I was hoping to get an answer right away.Unfortunately when I asked about it, the person I assumed was the manager heard me ask, looked at me then ducked out of the room without saying a word. The other girl who was helping me looked at her (like, Wanna talk to her now?), then seemed to accept that she didnt want to talk to me and said the manager was there that day and would get back to me ASAP. Its been over a week, and I still havent gotten any response whatsoever. Bad sign for any sort of education program, so I am definitely no longer interested in their program.I have been a monthly member for a month, and I called today to see what the price would be to add on a facial this month as they told me it would be discounted as a member. Apparently its still the same monthly price of $59.95 so I guess Ill just wait another month.I have really liked my providers (masseuse and facialist), but the front desk/management is the most problematic part of this spa.

I have usually always enjoyed Hand and Stone massages, but tonight I was unlucky. The massage I received felt more like some one was just applying lotion and using hot towels. The reason I got the massage was not addressed and I did not feel any better after it.

Had some miscommunication issues with the office and Lisa called me and took such good care of me. She was so kind and professional!

Ive been going to Hand and Stone for a few years now. I really enjoy their services, and they offer quite an array of upgrades that can help specific issues you have. Therapists, unfortunately, are hit or miss. Some of them are wonderful and do an amazing job, some seem like they havent completed any type of training. Also, the upgrades are nice but often way overpriced. I would definitely recommend the membership, it saves a lot of money and if you dont use your packages, they rollover and you can use multiple at a time.

My wife and I had an 80 minute couples massage last week and the therapists were fantastic (Laura and Victor). However when we were done and went to pay, the cost was $280 (before tip). Buyer beware: before scheduling anything at this location do not use the pricing from the website! Call them and confirm the price. The prices online are significantly lower than what they actually are. I paid the price but contacted the owner later. After a lengthy discussion he agreed to reimburse us $80 for the confusion. I appreciated the gesture but as I said, do not schedule unless you’ve gotten the price from someone at this exact location. Additionally if someone gave you a gift card it will only work at the location it was purchased. My work gave me a gift card and said it was for the Draper location but when I went to use it the front desk said it was as only valid for Midvale. My work swears they bought it at Draper so who knows. But like I said, the massage therapists were both amazing. Thanks Laura and Victor!

I have been having some back/neck pain and needed a little TLC. I decided to use my Hand and Stone gift card that my son bought me for Christmas. I had a wonderful massage there!! My therapist asked me the right questions and did everything he could to help me feel better. He was professional, intuitive with his touch, and thoughtful. I will definitely be going back for another massage. Also, the spa is beautiful and the gal that checked me in was extremely warm and inviting. THANK YOU Hand and Stone, you made my day!

I was scheduled quickly, enjoyed the facility, but most of all Lorenzo was one of the best Massage Therapists I have ever had. He was highly knowledgeable about how to remove muscle knots and had a perfect touch. Thank you for taking such good care of me. I will definitely refer everyone I know to your location.

Do not work for this company. The owner is dishonest. He overworks the manager and is rarely there. I quit in December because I had some personal emergencies. He refused to give me my holiday bonus partially because I quit and because I didn’t meet my “percentage” for December (I worked maybe two days that month before I quit) doesnt seem right to me especially because he knew what I was going through. Now my tax return (that I use to pay for school and my daughters clothes for the year) is on hold. Talked to the IRS and they said H&S hasn’t reported my wages on their end. The owner, Nate, is an accountant. He tried saying he had no idea what was going on and that I was the first this had happened to. Gee, I wonder why? This review may be petty but I’m at a loss of what to do. There’s a lot of good people working here and it sucks to burn a bridge but I need my money. I’ve reported this to corporate, and I will be reporting to the IRS and BBB tomorrow.

The massage therapist had calluses, so maybe that was an exfoliating treatment? No thanks. With no showers, I was unable to feel fresh and relaxed at the beginning of the massage having just come from work, and afterwards, I walked out the door feeling greasy and gross.Because this review was originally deleted, I take it managment of the spa just wanted to make a problem go away, instead of trying to make it right. I wasnt trying to offend, I was just being honest.

This place is a rip off! Whenever they give you a price you need to expect to pay more especially if you have a monthly plan. Their hour massages last 50 min and their 2 hour massages are 100 minutes. The massages aren’t bad but not worth the BS. We will find business elsewhere.

I’ve had two massages here: one prenatal and one regular deep tissue. The massages are incredible! I’ve been to many places and this place is definitely at the top of my list.The only thing that keeps me from returning is the pressure they put on you to buy their memberships. I live far, so a membership doesn’t make sense for me. Last month, I took my dad here to get a massage and when he politely declined the membership, the front desk receptionist was really bothered and rude about it.The gal who I declined the membership from was super nice and understanding, and still explained the benefits to me. But I was bummed because my dad would’ve been a returning customer without the harassment from this particular receptionist. It’s totally cool with me to hear about the Perks of a membership, pricing, etc. but if we decline...quit pestering us. Because you’ll more than likely lose a customer than win them over.

They want me to call them to get them to stop sending emails. What a joke. .............These guys will not stop contacting me. I will never go here again. They do not have an unsubscribe on email. I got them to stop texting me. This place wasnt even that great.

Good massage only 40b minutes instead of 1 hour paid for. My partner and I went for a couple massage for a date. We does up like 15 minutes early and filled in all the paper work pretty quick. Then they came in 5 minutes after work it was supposed to start and asked for my partner to come with them. Then like 5 minutes later they came back in and said oops we got you two mixed up and forgot it was a couples massage. Then the we went into the room where the spent the next 5 minutes explaining what a massage was and what they were going to do. We then final got undressed and started. Then 5 to the hour they stopped and told us the time was up. The worst part was that the music playing in the background got stuck on a song (I think it might have been a CD or something) and just looped through half of one song for the last 15 minutes. It was super annoying. Anyways, by the end there was no way we were planning on ever coming back. Im sure that was a unique experience and that most other people dont have those issues but we did and it was not what we were hoping for.

Was supposed to have a couples massage scheduled for today that was scheduled a month ago. We arrived and was informed that I was scheduled, but they could not find my wifes information. Also, they have no available therapists to fix their mistake. Was informed that the person that made the error no longer works there- which does nothing to fix the problem, and we had to cancel my massage because of it. Ive gone to this place several times and always enjoyed my massage, but I recently got a membership and called inquiring who would give a good deep tissue massage... Ive had ongoing back and hip pain for over 5 years due to a car accident and wanted someone that would be able to help manage that. Alicia was recommended along with several others, but she had availability the next day when I needed it.This was hands down the best, most productive massage Ive ever had. She worked magic on trigger points and tension spots that Ive had for years that Ive never had worked on during any other massage. Im 51 and weigh 100 pounds, so I think most people are scared to give a genuine deep tissue, but she had no hesitations and did wonders for me! Ill continue booking with her as long as I have a membership!

SO DISAPPOINTED in the Draper location. Specifically LISA. They were quick to take my card for membership even though my son was the client. When trying to cancel after two months without an appointment since my son is home, due to the world situation, they wanted to charge me for another month. They insisted that my sons name was on the card which it is NOT. Then said only he could cancel....luckily he was next to me. She almost hung up on me when saying theyd charge me one more month. Disgusting, rude, and unethical. I will repost on Yelp and social media. Shame on you.

Apparently they have a policy of a) not sending any kind of appointment notifications and reminders, and b) charging 50 PERCENT cancellation fees. Interesting way to make money... obviously forgetting about my appointment is on me at the end of the day but this is the most ungracious and punishing policy Ive ever heard of anywhere. Just paid $50 to find out that I will never ever be going to Hand and Stone or using them as my go-to gift for friends again. Expensive lesson but ultimately Ill probably save in the end. Should you choose to go you better type that appointment into your calendar impeccably and immediately because its the only record or reminder youll have, and itll cost you dearly if you get it wrong.

The staff was extremely professional and accommodating. Our experience was exactly what we needed. The atmosphere was calm, and our massages were fantastic. Some of the best MT’s I’ve ever booked with. Thanks for making our experience a great one. We’ll be back.

I got a full body massage from Tasha and a brightening facial from Kylee and oh my goodness I have never felt so relaxed! My body feels great and my skin is glowing! 10/10 recommend! I will definitely be back!

Absolutely love this place! I have never been disappointed! I have gone to many of the therapist and they all have different styles and techniques to match exactly what I need done. Also the new cbd oil they use is amazing!! Will not get a massage without it. I will always highly recommend this place to everyone! I’d give 10 stars if I could!

I just had the BEST massage from Alicia, she is new to this location and I will definitely request Alicia for my next one, in fact Im her newest fan. she has a unique way to relieve stress and knots while allowing me to feel relaxed the whole time. Great facials

I went to Hand and Stone Massage in Draper and had the best facial I have ever had. I called earlier in the day hoping they would have something available after a long day and lucked out. My aesthetician was phenomenal and was very thorough. The receptionist knew me by name and was very welcoming when I got there. The ambiance in the lobby and the room was relaxing. If you want great service, a friendly staff and a relaxing experience, you won’t be disappointed here!!

HAND AND STONE HAS BEEN A FANTASTIC PLACE TO BE! So BEYOND happy over the last 2 years with every service I receive. I highly suggest trying multiple therapist until you find your perfect one! Each therapist specializes in certain services, and each have their own unique techniques. Highly recommend!The membership with the 30 days notice to cancel is great. You can join and cancel at anytime. I’m much happier here then I was at another spa where for a whole year they wouldn’t let me cancel. A plus for letting me use this membership in Ohio when I go back to visit!

After a long day of travel I was having significant neck and shoulder pain. I called Hand & Stone and they were able to get me in that day which was awesome. Even better, they were able to accommodate a later appointment time, 8:30 PM which most salons and spas do not offer. I was greeted at the front desk by a very kind and smiling associate and then the massage therapist came out to get me and introduced herself. I told her the areas I wanted worked on the most, my neck and shoulders, and the massage was amazing. She took the time to listen to what I needed and did great work. I will definitely be back and be recommending Hand & Stone.

Best Massages ever ! I am a frequent flyer getting my muscles restored about every 2-3 weeks for the past year and I have never felt better! Great staff and awesome therapists (Tasha 😊) and always a great experience.

The quality of the massage and facials are great! However I was disappointed with the lack of information given to me when it came to charges. I canceled my membership and because they said I need 30 day notice they had to charge me for 1 more month leaving me with 3 packages to use within 90 days. The girl suggested that I do a “mini spa day”. I would use 1 package for massages, 1 for facial and then get Two add on items that would use up the remaining package. I made the appointment and came in expecting to pay for nothing but the tip because I was already charged for the 3 packages. When I was checking out, they said I had to pay for the two add on items. I said no, there were 3 packages. She said nope, looks like they didn’t charge for the current month they were able to cancel after all so there were only two packages to use. I was frustrated because I didn’t want to spend the extra money for add on items I only did it to use up the 3rd package they told me I had. Had I known, I would have just done the basics and saved myself $50.

Never again. After having a membership for 9 months I’m done. Repeated bad massages. Poor service. The last masseuse I’m pretty sure worked construction part time. I didn’t pay for an exfoliation but sure got one his hands were so rough. Still made me come in after expressing my distaste to sign a cancellation in person.ALSO using their email review system it says your review will be posted online. This never made it. They use reputation management services where the reviews are filtered first. Good try though guys.

The quality of Hand & Stone Massage has gone down significantly over the last several months. The quality of therapists is awful. Ive had therapists basically rub lotion on me for the 50 minutes despite requesting for more pressure. Ive had over therapists poke at me which does absolutely nothing for me. And then there is the additional cost for a couples massage room. Why? Why charge my husband and I an additional $20 because we want to be together during our massage? I do not recommend this place. It feels like a chain and you dont get the quality of service you pay for.

I am amazed at my recent massage by Jared. He is so thorough and knowledgeable in his massage technique. I feel like a new person. The pain I was feeling in my neck and arm vanished after my session with him. His professionalism made me feel very comfortable in my full body massage as well. I will definitely return and ask for him!

This place is great, everyone is always so nice when I come in and I have never had a bad therapist.

What a great facial. I have been going at least once a month and I am really noticing an improvement in my pores and hyper-pigmentation. These are the specific areas of concern I had and so that is what we concentrate on. Madi always asks, but be sure to share specific concerns so that your facial can be tailored to your needs. I am really about results over relaxation when it comes to facial. What a bonus that I get both!

Stacy is phenomenally good with trigger point! I made an appointment for an emergency massage after an old car accident injury caused a neck twinge that limited my range of motion in my neck to the point that it was impossible to move my head to the left. She listened as I described my symptoms, and zeroed in right on the worst spots. One 50 minute session later and I could move my head again!Shes extremely professional, and very talented. I would highly recommend her and Hand and Stone to anyone

Hand Stone Massage has always been welcoming, the front desk girls are courteous and kind. There is a peaceful ambience when you enter that is just relaxing. The online scheduler has not always worked in our favor, made an appointment once and did not have it go through. ( just make sure to call in for confirmation even if you get an email). The ladies are always nice and able to double check anything. Taylor is really nice and pretty good, Stacy is really good too. My mom got a massage from Charolett today and she was so impressed. She said it was by far the best massage she has ever gotten. Charolette truly cares and offered to do extra work. Her hospitality and service was impressive and extraordinary. I was asked to do this survey because of how awesome Charlotte was.

I had booked a massage for my husband and I not requesting for the couples room but they told me thats where we would be which i was happy with but when we went to pay it was an additional $20.00 which they failed to tell me it was going to be extra when booking. I would have done it in separate rooms cause its not like were talking anyways. I work at a spa and anytime something is extra we make sure and tell the client it will be an additional charge and if I or anyone else fails to tell them, we cant charge them! It upsets me cause I would love to see Rachel again cause she was absolutely amazing but I wont be back just because the way the handled it. All they said was sorry!

I was able to get an appt the same day which was amazing as I had a horrible headache. I opted for the mini hot stone treatment with my massage (10-15 minutes of hot stone massage followed by the classic massage). The massage therapist, John, was very knowledgeable and explained his technique and how the massage would go. Mariah at the front was helpful and a total sweetheart. When I need a massage, I know where Ill be going! ❤

I went to get a massage and facial with a friend. The front desk was friendly. The room is nice. Water was practically empty. The massage was not that good and was short. I paid for an hour massage and I definitely understand a few mins short to dress/undress. But they didn’t bring me back for 15 mins and then didn’t start for another 5 mins. She saw the time was ten til the hour and stopped. RIDICULOUS. There was a room swap situation. Apparently I needed to change and I move to a different room. I’m out in the room and then a few mins later, my friend is brought to this room too? Oh I guess they didn’t communicate anything properly to each other or to us. I was then taken to yet another room. The facial was wonderful. The gal was nice. Again the time was so short. Paid for an hour but only got 40 mins worth. Now I’m back at the front desk. I did not get a copy of the receipt. I have no idea what I paid for but it was nearly $200. I fee so jipped on the overall experience.

Hand & Stone has a beautiful building and relaxing atmosphere. Staff are super friendly and truly give remarkable customer service. The variety of treatments and add-ons they offer are also a huge plus. Highly reccomend!

The Salon was clean and the staff was nice. The facial I received was FAR from one hour and not relaxing at all. I have been to another Hand & Stone Spa in another state and it was wonderful!!! I was expecting a professional for the amount of money I spent, unfortunately that is what I received. She barely touch my face. Very disappointed...... will not be returning.

My wife and I got a couples massage. Cheyenne was amazing and I was able to completely relax for the first time in what feels like an eternity!

I have yet to get a massage artist that I dont like- Hand and Stone has a wonderful staff- great reminder system, but most importantly the most experienced massage techs Ive ever had- whether its tight muscles from too much cycling (and not enough stretching) or post surgery repair work or just needing to relax- I tell them and they fulfill!

Be VERY careful with your payments here. I was a member, used a debit card for auto payments, cancelled my membership, had several months of continuing to be billed, have gone in several times to rectify the situation. And for the 5th month in a row, was charged a membership fee on a different credit card that had been used there, BUT WAS NOT Linked previously for my membership account. Terrible attitude from management. As if being charged after cancellation was somehow my fault. Don’t take my word for it, read other reviews that show a pattern of poor billing practices when pausing or canceling a membership.

Today was my second visit and I cannot wait to go back. Beautiful, modern, comfortable, friendly, relaxing, clean... Just some of the words I would use to describe Hand and Stone Massage.

I carry all my stress in my shoulders and I work at a desk all day hunched over. I work out at the gym a lot and was doing stretches but my shoulders were still bothering me. Charlotte has made all the difference! Finally gotten some relief from pain in my shoulders that I havent been able to ease for months!She is so professional and knowledgable! Thank you!

I drove out of my way to come to this location and buy gift cards for my wife and my mother-in-law when I arrived I was told I cannot just load money onto a card and I have to select what type of spa or massage they wanted. the prices online are misleading they have a price for members and non-members. Basically I will add to have to give them cash to come here to get the same deal but I just think thats a bit trashy. This place just lost out on a couple hundred dollars because of a stupid policy.I ended up going to the spa lounge just around the corner. They were very friendly and wanted my business.

I was able to get a same day appointment to relieve some back pain I wasnt able to shake alone. Im not a fan of membership pricing, but their membership model and pricing is quite a bit better than some of the competition Ive visited. If you sign up you can cancel at any time.

Decent cold oil, atmosphere ok, therapist was good completely missed my hands feet & neck

Charlottes hospitality and massage was incredible. She went above and beyond.By far the best massage I have ever gotten
