They are really good and efficient! I made the appointment at noon and complete everything in 1.5hours in the afternoon. You don’t need to wait for a long time as other hospital!! Doctor Buhay is very nice and warm. Victoria is so easygoing and make you feel relaxed. Receptionists are professional and efficient! They don’t waste patients’ time! They don’t waste their money on fancy interiors! I don’t have dental insurance. Here is a affordable place. Recommend!

I LOVE Dr. Waller-Smith. She greeted me personally with a cheery smile. Told me they would take me right back and she escorted me promptly to the back and got started on my anesthesia for my filling. By the time, I was done it was exactly one hour and I was smiling and in good spirits after she was done. She is one of the most professional, sweet, and pleasant dentists I have EVER had in my life. Most importantly, she was GENTLE and I am in NO PAIN whatsoever two days later. She just became my dentist and I would follow her wherever she goes now, she is AMAZING!

I appreciate the dentists and staff at Gentle Dental at Jefferson! Although I came on a busy office day where there was quite a long wait time, the staff was courteous and assured me that I will be seen as soon as possible. The dentist and periodontist I saw were friendly, professional, and most importantly answered my questions thoroughly & clearly. The office location was easy to find and thankfully parking is validated. I was happy to walk out of my appointment with a refreshed smile.

This is a very great place to get dental work done. The staff cares for their patients and ensures they are comfortable. I had to come back to check on my tooth extraction today and was able to do so on my limited lunch break in time. Very pleased.

I hate going to the Dentist but had a very pleasant experience here. The Dentist was very thorough and good at keeping me in the loop. I also like how she asked me to raise my hand if I felt pain. To top it off they gave me a treatment plan with no pressure and found out exactly how much each future potential treatment would cost me with my insurance before I booked the appointment. Happy I finally found a dentist in Detroit!

I would advise that if you are looking for a dentist to look elsewhere (Dr.Palms office in Huntington Woods for example). I went in in February (with no issues or pain) for a routine cleaning and was told that I would need a couple fillings. I was not surprised and scheduled it for mid-March. I went in in March and suffered through THE most painful filling I have ever had. I was given extra doses of novocaine and it still would not alleviate the pain. I went home and when the numbing agent wore off I found that my teeth were unbelievably sensitive (I literally could not eat bread!). I was unable to eat on the right side of my mouth because it hurt so bad! I had to go back again to have the doctor readjust the filling. I scheduled the appointment about a week later after work and when I got there it was clear that the doctor was in a rush to get out of the office herself. I again suffered as she hurriedly drilled down on my teeth. I hoped that when I got home this time I would be able to eat normally again but to my disappointment my teeth were just as sensitive. It is now the end of July and since March (March!) I have not been able to eat normally without pain. I have found another dentist who is doing the best they can to help me fix the terrible job that was done at Gentle Dental. Though the pain has slightly improved I may unfortunately have to get a root canal to fully reverse the damage.Their receptionists are also pretty rude and do a terrible job of following up with patients.I am not the type of person to write reviews so please believe me when I say Gentle Dental has shown me THE worst dental experience in my life. I truly do not know if my teeth will ever be the same again after going there. PLEASE take heed...

They certainly live by their name Gentle. Everyone was nice and professional during my visit. They kept me informed of what was going on the entire time. Definitely recommend whether you like the dentist or not.

Ive gone to several dentist in the last three years. The last dentist I had before shopping for a new one, I assume retired. I mentioned this to reassure that Gentle Dental is a great place to establish care. The dentist is great, knowledgeable and, compassionate. It took a while but Im sure I found one of the best in the Detroit area.

I went to the Jefferson office with an emergency that my current dentist could not squeeze me in to handle. The hours were convenient and I was able to get in the same day. Everyone was very nice and professional. My procedure as painless as possible. I am currently considering switching dentist.

Shanekquah is great! She made me feel very relaxed and calm. Very lovely. Dr. Hanan is real cool. How she speak makes me feel shes part of the family. For my first visit, this has been a great experience.

The dental assistant, Hygienist, and Dentist were are very gentle and kind in their work, and explained everything thoroughly to my 7-year-old daughter before and during the procedure. I felt very comfortable with their care and am excited to go back to finish the work needed. Highly recommended.

Tonya is an amazing Dental Hygienist. Never before has anyone called to check on my dental comfort after a deep cleaning. She is sweet, gentle and superb. I definitely recommend her and Gentle Dental has been quite convenient.

Overall good quality of work as far as I can tell after 2 fillings and a cleaning. Only complaint is that their time management could possibly be a little better. Both of my visits have taken 3-4 hours just for cleaning and 2 fillings.

I take my children to this location. The wait is never too long & the staff is always friendly. We usually have dental assistant Rozell. Hes very informed, patient, and professional. I especially appreciate always seeing him wash his hands before working on the children, never having to ask him to change his gloves, because if he leaves the room he does these things automatically. The dentists are also very kind & thorough. I also appreciate not having each visit broke down to multiple appointments, resulting in me having to take off of work & the children miss school.

The staff were really nice and the facility was clean, but I just had issues with the efficiency of the clinic.I got there around 2:10 for a 2:30 appointment because I was a new patient. It took me five minutes to fill out the forms, but I did not get seated into an examination room until 3:30. They were able to squeeze me in for a cleaning which was great, but overall, I was physically in that clinic from 2:10 to about 5:40.Kind of a rough way to spend a free afternoon

It was a coincidence that I found this dental online close to my work.Surprisingly the service is very accommodated, I tried to tell them my difficulties they tried their best to help including the Dr. Manager and the whole staff.The most important thing is I was so amazed with my filling results. My Dental assistant was Shanequah and she was really nice and answered all my questions while talking my X-ray pictures. I had a great experience with Gentle Dental! Dr. Hanan was very informational, Dr. Tracy took very good care of me even when I kept closing my mouth (not on purpose). I had many laughs with Tiffany and Shanikquah while they helped me during my visit. I enjoyed being there very much!

Nicole is very sweet and understanding. I am very scary and she made sure I was OK and walk right right on pass it. Dr Oliver is very nice and understanding and I know she going to get my smile back for me.

Dr. Zang, Amber, and Tonya did a wonderful job of making sure I was comfortable and understood what was going on. They were upfront with what treatment they recommended, and how much it would cost me out of pocket with insurance. I would recommend this office.

I would AVOID this company. As a past dental assistant, I am thankful for Medicaid Dental benefits. My experience at this office was better than no dental care. The waiting times were always one to three hours. One visit lasted five hours for a punctual scheduled appointment. I saw five dentists over two years. The unsatisfactory procedures were corrected by two free crowns. Today, I am waiting at another dental office to have one of those crowns or maybe both replaced because of bulky, leaky margins. Your dentists should NEVER write a prescription for a patient for penicillin that could cause a deathly allergic response. That is malpractice. When this occurred I pointed to my chart and received a new script and sorry, I forgot to look.

I tried Gentle Dental because I work nearby, in RenCen. The waiting time is absurd and their computers work incredibly slow when you try to make an appointment. A colleague from work also told me he wainted for 2 hours and then he left in anger. The staff is friendly but that’s not enough. Respect your appointment hours!

Today was my first visit and I was nervous. I hadnt been to the dentist in awhile. Dr. Hanan, Tracey & Amber were very nice & professional. However, there was an employee that made a comment about accepting late appointments for new patients. I thought that was kinda rude. That conversation shouldnt have been talked about around patients. But overall it was a good experience.

My first initial visit was awesome!! when I first walked into there office and saw that the front lobby was clean and spacious,I knew this was the place for me to be.nothing like a clean office it speaks a clean environment for dental care. Dr.Patel and Dr, Zheng both worked hand and hand while addressing my dental needs. I was seen for a difficult extraction which I thought never wanted to leave my mouth,but OH BOY! when I noticed there was no pain once the extraction started to loosen I knew this will be the place for me for all my dental needs. Great front and back staff assistance were fast and effective and will be visiting (GD) again. Thank you Rasheeda for assisting me with my paper work and insurance information she was very helpful and informative about fees and co-pays. :)

I woke up one day in a lot of pain suddenly then I realized it was as a result of the recent dental work I had gotten at Gental Dental. I went in for a root canal and came out with a patched up tooth. The dentist that did my work told me to come back if I had any issues and she would extract it for free. I called to schedule and appointment for an extraction same day , took time off work and went to my appointment.The staff tell me that if I want the extraction I will have to pay because the DR that did my work is out on leave. To add insult to injury the whole staff came to the front of the office and started to yell at me in front of my wife and child telling me that If I didn’t pay I wouldn’t be serviced. How discouraging is that to have your own dentist office tell u one thing and then when u really need them as a result of something they did there is no help. Very unprofessional and I wouldn’t recommend this office to anyone.
