I love Genesis Health Club. I have been coming as a guest with a friend until today when I decided to join finally!! Brooklyn was super helpful and guided me on the membership process. I look forward to get into shape!

Aaron is an efficient, personable club manager. His employees appear to respect and follow his instructions.Heather is a wonderful front desk receptionist; very friendly and helpful.Brooklyn provides colorful entertainment as a body-builder who changes her appearance (hair-cuts, make-up) weekly. I often look forward to seeing her latest look. Shes also very friendly and accommodating.The club is always clean and fresh, thanks much to Delores, a Mexican cleaning lady. Very friendly; we speak often. Ive often told her (and staff) shes one of the hardest working individuals Ive ever seen.

Brooklyn Hankins made the decision to join easy. She was professional but also made the experience enjoyable and fun. Talking in a gym is my pet peeve, but today, I was not peeved. She is an absolute asset to the gym. I look forward to learning more about her knowledge with not only the physical aspect of working out, but supplements and nutrition also. Highly recommend.

I have been going to this gym for many years and have never had problems until recently. I go work out multiple times a week and had an issue with the buddy pass that I was under the assumption was part of my grandfathered membership I have had since it was Aspen. I have on many occasions been able to bring a friend to work out with me without charge. One of the employees specifically named BEN was abrasive and did not handle the situation in a professional manner at all. I was informed I do not have the buddy pass and he reminded me by raising his voice that this was not Aspen anymore and it was Genesis (as if I did not see the sign change on the outside of the building several months ago) I have been in multiple times and asked to see a copy of my original agreement and still have not been provided one since I need to see a manager. I have yet to find an actual manager on staff and have asked the last 3 times I have been to the gym. For such a simple request I am amazed at how big of a deal Ben made it. I have heard similar stories from other long time members of the gym about the same employee specifically being particularly troublesome and excessively abrasive about expressing gym policies to them. To be a member so long here its truly disappointing to be treated the way I was.

Brooklyn was great! She helped walk us through membership options and gave us a thorough tour of the club. She let us know about all the options for classes and training and all the amenities available. She explained the options clearly and answered all of our questions.

I worked out here for almost 2 1/2 years now and my favorite part about it is the front desk lady’s smile and conversations! Heather is her name if I’m right. Also Delores the cleaning lady is a beautiful soul! .

Cam and Brooklyn are really cool and helpful. Showed us how to do some exercises and have been helpful on the front desk. The hours, prices, and equipment are great. A few locations have a basketball court which is awesome.

I got grandfathered in from the transition from Aspen to Genesis. Everything has improved in quality; from the timeliness of instructor start times, variety of classes available, cleanliness of the facility, and equipment. If you havent been - you should definitely check them out!

It feels great to get back into a real gym after the pandemic and an injury. It is clean and the equipment is well maintained which is a vast improvement from my last gym experience. Absolutely no complaints!

This location is my favorite. They are always keeping it clean and staff are friendly and helpful. Plus kids club teachers are amazing. Shout out to Liz and Hannah for always doing a great job with the kids especially in this new covid season. This location isn’t packed with people and I can feel confident walking in and knowing someone will always help when I feel lost.

I have been a member of this gym since it was Aspen. Since Genesis has taken over, the atmosphere has been amazing. The staff are very professional and good at communicating. Management is awesome, Matt is a great guy and is willing to drop everything to help his members. He treats us as we are his own friends. You can see it with-in the staff they like to help and encourage members. This is the place to workout, friendly atmosphere, good quality equipment. Overall a fun place to be.

EDIT: sauna has been broke for two weeks now. They clearly are in no hurry to fix it. It was not their fault it was broke which is why I’m going with 4 stars.Original: Been going to this gym for a few years now. I love the sauna and it has all the workout equipment needed. The gym has just about everything but integrity. I had different employees tell me different pricing for the gym. One day an employee tells me it’s 5 dollars a day and then the next day I have a different employee charge me 15 dollars for the day. They gave me a pretty good deal and let me pay 20 dollars for 20 days but then after the 20 days they claim that’s it’s 35 dollars for the month. So I had payed 20 dollars already and then their trying to charge me another 35?

Great place to exercise. They have day care available (which has been awesome), they have personal training (highly recommend), tanning, group classes, and a gym with all kinds of fitness equipment.

Have been a member here for a number of years. Tabitha and Robin at the front desk are always such pleasant people to greet you when you walk in. Bertha works very hard to keep things in great shape. Have always loved exercising here and love the facility!

I went in last year to cancel my no commitment membership and they instead talked me into freezing my account. They didnt tell me they were going to charge me almost $40 to freeze it. Theyll do anything to screw you out of your hard earned money.

I’ve been going here for a long time and am recently very happy with the management and facilities. Matt goes out of his way to get to know the members and I use the kids club which is always helpful in watching my son. I’ve been a member for a few years enjoying the fitness classes and exercise equipment as they have something for everyone. The instructors are great, state of art equipment and the facility is always kept very clean. I started working out with a personal trainer, Grant Peterson, about a year ago. Every session is different , focusing on specific areas and customized for me. I can really tell the difference in my overall health, strength and condition. I highly recommend Genesis Merle Hay for anyone who wants to improve their overall well being no matter where you are starting from.

Ive been going to this gym for years, back when it was still Apsen. This gym is an awesome place to go workout, take classes, and learn many new things. The trainers are awesome, theres a few in particular that I see go above and beyond for the people that workout here. These guys are very helpful whenever you have a question about something and are more than willing to spare a few minutes to help you out and show you how to do something if needed. I highly recommend joining this place if you arent a member already!!

Ive had Greg Mader as my personal trainer for over five years here at this gym, he is amazing over all. Always works me and knows his job and knowledge about trainings, knows just how far to push. The gym is the best in the area and im willing to travel just for the service here. its clean and a friendly place to be !

I like the convenience of the location. It’s only a 5 minute drive. I also like the way the gym is set up inside and the variety of equipment it offers.

There are a lot of great things I can say about the Merle Hay location specifically. It’s a bit smaller so I don’t feel lost in a sea of people but they have all the equipment I could need. The machines aren’t always full and are kept spotlessly clean. Since Covid19 became a thing I’ve been so impressed with their dedication to making sure everything is sanitary and we’re as safe as we can be. I work with a personal trainer and was worried about coming back to the gym at first but they’ve even provided an area that’s separated from the rest of the gym where a trainer can work with their client one-on-one. I feel much safer knowing that people that use that area always wear masks and have the same concerns for safety that I do. I would highly recommend Genesis Merle Hay to anyone looking for a new workout home and especially if they have interest in finding excellent personal training.

Bathroom is clean and machines work. DirectTV is provided on machines with working TVs. Large variety of machines and equipment to use.

I am a member of Genesis Merle Hay and it is the place where I enjoy my workouts as well as meet with friends. My trainer, Grant Petersen, is awesome. He teaches me to exercise safely and encourages me to become my best self! The staff at Genesis treats me like family and I enjoy sharing healthy treats, healthy coffee drinks and protein drinks with the staff. I feel safe working out at Genesis Merle Hay as the staff wears face coverings for my protection as well as provides supplies to keep the equipment clean and safe for all to use. Genesis Merle Hay is kept clean by dedicated staff members for the client’s safety. The trainers are excellent and well educated in the needs of physical activity for people of all fitness levels. There are many activities offered to keep members and guests physically active like Boot Camp, challenges and online classes for those that like to workout at home. It a pleasure to keep physically fit at Genesis Merle Hay with all of the opportunities to workout like training and boot camps as well as a variety of equipment for people of all fitness levels. The staff at this gym are the creme of the crop. If you put them in a larger facility like lifetime, they would double the number of members in six months. Very professional and so welcoming. They really make you feel like family

I. Love. This. Place. Ive been to the WDM location a couple times and its nice and all, but the atmosphere at Merle Hay is by far my favorite. From the front desk staff to the trainers and everybody in between, my experience with Genesis has been nothing but positive. Plenty of space to work out, clean facilities, good quality equipment. The trainers Ive worked with for bootcamp and personal training sessions have been phenomenal; they genuinely want to help me reach my goals and encourage me however they can. I feel like Im part of something here, and its the people that keep me coming back. You guys are doing things right!

I have been going to see Grant, a personal trainer, for over year now and have seen amazing results. My strength has increased and my reflexes have gotten sharper. He does not do a certain plan for everyone, but works with your individual needs to build a proper plan for you. I love all the trainers that work there.

I have been working out at this gym for years. My personal trainer Greg Mader is the best always positive and motivating me to get to my best self. The general manager Aaron is always pleasant every time I see him and if I have any problems he takes care of them right away. Michelle the operations manager is great always smiling, upbeat , makes you feel very welcome. Tabitha is also very welcoming at the desk. I am very happy and satisfied with the service and equipment at Genesis .

Love this place! The front staff makes everyone feel so welcome and happy that you are there. The personal training staff is absolutely amazing. In my work with Greg, I have been able to focus on work that targets my specific diet and type of body. The gym is always clean and there is rarely a piece of equipment that broken or unusable. Great gym overall!

My husband wanted to cancel and employee said you cant cancel, you can only freeze the account. He hasnt been to the gym since but they kept charging him. No integrity. Dont recommend.

He helps you set fitness goals and achieve them. He tailors workouts to your personal needs and pushes you to improve. He can also help you work around and recover from injuries. Five stars.

My contract ended in September. I had fraud on my credit card but I didn’t think much about it since I haven’t been to the gym since February because of covid. I paid two months past my contract. Got a bill in the mail. Went in and they said I owed $200 more. Really?!? The guy acted like he was doing me a favor by charging me just $100. I haven’t been there in almost a year. You got all of that free money from me. I was thinking about rejoining in the future. This experience changed my mind. I hope the $100 was worth a good customer.

I love this place. The equipment is well taken care of. The place is very very clean. My personal trainer Grant Peterson is awesome. He totally understands that some days I cannot be pushed harder and other days we joke around and I reach new milestones with the weights.

If you are looking for a great trainer committed to improving your health, then you need to meet with Greg Mader from Genesis. I started with Greg in 2017 and hadnt worked out in years and my diet was terrible. Greg gave me the support to get back on track and kept me accountable. I appreciate the time and energy he put in to get me to a better place.

My first visit to this facility was to cancel my membership. I was one of the individuals who previously held a membership at Golds Gym before it was transferred to Genesis. Upon my arrival, I was greeted by Brooklyn, one of the Fitness Advisors assigned to the location. I told her about my intentions of canceling my membership as I had already obtained a membership elsewhere. She acknowledged my intentions, but she encouraged me to check out the facility. Brooklyn reviewed the equipment with me and inquired about my fitness goals. She was courteous and professional and her ability to build the value of maintaining my membership was impressive. So in short, she convinced me that keeping my membership was a good investment towards obtaining my goals. Its been over a month and I am still happy with my decision to stay. Thanks Brooklyn!
