I have been with this medical facility for nearly 6 years. I call for an appointment because my child is sick and the billing department demands $63 from my previous appointments. When I say I will pay immediately upon arriving I am told protocol is to pay before hand which is a lie. I have never had to pay on the phone prior to making an appointment, if I had a balance from my insurance not picking it up I always paid when I went to my appointment. I asked if all patients had to do this and I was told by the billing manager yes which is a lie. Another patient of theirs which happened to be in my office and a patient at that facility just went in two weeks ago and was able to pay upon arrival.The doctors are wonderful but Ive heard of discrepancies and lack of customer service from the office before. I never experienced it until today unfortunately the office clearly doesnt depict the doctors care but definitely has a reflection upon Tanglewood Family Medical Center.When you have a sick child, federal insurance, always pay prior to seeing the doctor upon arrival (they make it a point to stress the payment more so than the care of health), been a patient for 6 plus years and cant get an appointment its a really sad situation.

We love Tanglewood Family Medicine! I’ve been a patient there since childhood & have never had a negative experience. Now, as a registered nurse for 15+ years, I have an even greater appreciation for the clinic & staff! They are personable, down-to-Earth, & genuinely care about the patients they treat. I can’t imagine being seen anywhere else.

I’ve been going to this practice for several years; and have always had an eleventh experience. So much so, that I had my daughter go there. Malissa & Josh are wonder you their patients, they take the time to listen to me when I have issues with anything either with myself or my daughter. Hands down an amazing practice!!!!♥️

Lysle Price is literally the best Doctor in all of Kansas. Ive been seeing him since I was in Highschool. He has always taken the time to REALLY LISTEN to my concerns and helped me find the perfect solutions. I have never had an issue with anyone there, everyone has always been so nice.

I’m a new patient, but I’m very impressed with the service I’ve received . Everyone is nice, polite. Scheduling an appointment is easy. The Doctors and P.A.’s take time to listen to and answer all my questions. I’m very happy with Tanglewood Family Med Center.

My husband and I have been patients at Tanglewood Medical for several years. We appreciate the respect, care, and knowledge the entire staff and providers have shown us. We never feel like we are being rushed through or not listened to.Dr Vitosh is our primary doctor and we cant be more thankful for her and her team! We often ask to be scheduled with her PA, Josh. He has been fantastic and helped diagnose hard to diagnose conditions.They are both calm, reassuring and fantastic listeners. They are very knowledgeable; however, they have no problem admitting when they need to do more research. They have helped us through many troubling situations. This year we also had the honor of being cared for by PA Erika during Covid-19. She went above and beyond in taking care of us.Tanglewood has the best providers and nurses!!!!

Dr. Panokas gets it! He listens! Hes understanding and connects with his patients! He puts me at ease at each appointment and I highly recommend this practice!! The Office staff is great, too! Oh, I cant forgot the nurse, Tammy! She is so nice and can administer a shot and draw blood like a Nurse should. Absolutely an outstanding quality of medical care!!!.

I, like many others, despise going to the doctors. However, Dr. Panakos has the best bedside manner I have encountered from a physician, and I can confidently say he makes his patients feel comfortable in his office. He is highly intelligent, listens to me, discusses treatment options, and treats appropriately. Dr. Panakos is one to take care of anything he can in the clinic to avoid referring out, including mental health. All the office staff have been great to work with in regards to scheduling and billing. If you are looking for a PCP that truly cares about you and your wellbeing, I would highly recommend giving the practitioners here a visit!

I have received great care from Tanglewood Family Med Center staff. I have been seen by Dr. Vitosh, Lysle, Erica and Josh and would not hesitate to be treated by any of the other Doctors or PAs. Every time I have an appointment they have all sat down and actually talked with me, made sure I understand what is going on and let me talk and ask questions. I have never waited more than 5 minutes to get into a room for an appointment which is surprising considering they take the extra time to spend with patients. When I switched over to Tanglewood I came from a Dr. I had seen for many years and was always hesitant to make appointments because I was usually dismissed or treated like an inconvenience. Special shout out to Josh for reassuring me that I am not an inconvenience and need to be sure and take care of my routine health checks as well as make appointments for any other needs I may have.

My mother ten yrs ago had renal failure and because they didnt want to pick up a book to check the new medication guidelines they didnt change her blood pressure medication. And she almost had a major heart attack and died after 15 mini strokes. And my grandmother just a few days ago went to the hospital because they put her on medication that should NEVER be put together and almost put her in full renal failure her kidneys were about to be completely shut down because they didnt pay attention to what they prescribed her. And three years ago they prescribed the wrong insulin to my grandpa after his diabetes changed and two weeks after being on it he died.Tangle wood all the doctors need to loose theyre licences and they need to be shut down!

This facility will not allow you to make payments on your bill unless it’s the amount that they want and if you cannot pay that much they will fire you as a patient. This is the first time I have run into that type of behavior from a doctor’s office in 25 years and six states.

Dr. Patton, and his team, have had my complete trust for years. Easy to talk to, does not rush his patients. And his staff is awesome!

I usually have a good experience here, but I’ve been calling for 10 minutes and I keep getting an automated message. The message says “Listen closely to our hours of operation. Wednesday’s from 8am-7:30pm. We turn off the phone lines Monday through Friday from 12:30-1:30 for lunch. That’s fine. But I’ve been calling since 1:30 and it is now 1:40 and still no one is answering. They should change their message if they are going to go late on their lunch.

My family has been with Tanglewood since moving to the area a few months ago. So far we feel as though the office is efficient and thorough as well as the nurses. The staff is friendly and authentic and Dr. Panakos is understanding and effective with his care without being impersonal or long winded.The only point of contention we have is returning calls. Weve left 2 messages and have not yet received a call back.

While people are nice here, I wont recommend anyone go here. After being a patient while living in Derby for 4 years I’m just 100% done. I went in multiple times for the same issue and was basically told try this, come back in a week or two if you don’t feel better and repeat for 5-6 visits until I get fed up. The straw that broke the camels back recently is I found out I was pregnant and previously I have struggled with endometriosis. So pelvic pain is the norm for me. I mentioned to the DR that I had a bit of pain in my ovary and the DR pretty much freaked out and said we need to get me into an ultrasound ASAP. Which I understand. You don’t want a patient to die from something preventable. But the DR also had given me the big speech about ectopic pregnancies and basically fear mongered me. So anyways they scheduled me for a sonogram on the only day I couldn’t make it work. I had to reschedule and ended up getting my sonogram a week after my initial appointment. Here we are over a week after the sonogram and I have heard NOTHING from the office. I have called and left two messages and finally heard back. Basically somehow I got looked over and never got my results. At least theyre nice, but I like my health issues to actually be solved and I would like to not be terrorized and bullied and made to have great fear and never hear back. I will be finding a new PCP.

I have been a patient here for about five years. I have seen doctor Constantine panacos, Chris Hayes, Catherine vitosh. I can say that these find physicians their physicians assistants and nurses have excellent bedside manner, and practice aggressive medicine combined with compassionate Care. they are always happy to explain complicated medical topics in laymans terms. Dr. panacos has an excellent demeanor and bedside manner along with an excellent professional demeanor to treat just about any chronic health condition I might be suffering from. I absolutely cannot say enough good things about this practice or the fine professionals that work there. When asked for recommendation I always bring up this clinic to anyone and everyone that will listen to me, because I view it is quite simply the best there is.

We’ve seen Dr. Panakos for years. He and the staff at Tanglewood have always been amazing and taken great care of us. They’re always responsive and go above and beyond to get us in, even if there’s no room on the schedule. We couldn’t be happier.

Office is outdated and run down. When calling in you have to listen to their hours of operation before you can talk to anyone. This would not be so bad if every day they were not open at different times. That is unprofessional, change phone system. Most people calling need an appointment, and could care less about the erratic operating hours. Between 12:30-1:30? I guess you cant ever speak to anyone, since they are all on lunch? Wow. Great business plan. You only learn this after a long story about some days being open until 4:40 and other days 5:40, 6:40, 7:40 and so on and so forth. Switching doctors after all of this.

This is the BEST office in the area. I just switched jobs and was inbetween insurence, they worked with me and made it as cheap as they could. I feel they all truly care about your well being! They take their time, I had Josh Wigdahl the PA and he is always so kind and offers a lot of information. Even though i was sick, the friendly staff made me feel at home. I had the privilege of working with Dr. Panakos several years ago. While I have not been there as a patient I do personally know and recommend Dr. Panakos. Kind, caring, compassionate and hard working. He will do his best to take care of you the right way!

Ive been going to this office over the last 7 years. They have been great through ever visit. The providers are friendly and actually listen to you.

Tanglewood lies to every patient. I had a new patient appointment scheduled for 10:00, I arrived at 9:45 to fill out paperwork, which I completed and turned in at 10:00.A counter Sign states Come see us if youve been waiting 30 minutes. I go up at 10:30, and was told my appointment was actually scheduled for 10:20, but they tell people so paperwork can be done! I replied that I dont need to be lied to, just tell me the correct time and Ill adjust accordingly.I dont do business with people who blatently lie to their customers. I will not set foot here again, and I recommend others to do the same.

The Doctors and nurses are amazing! Dr. Panakos has helped me through my weightloss journey and when me or the kiddos are sick where always taken care of! Excellent quality of care!

When I read these reviews I can tell those that are angry ex employees or angry ex patients that did not get whatever medication they may have been seeking. I switched to Dr Panakos after 17 years with the same physician. Dr P. took the time to actually look into the problem help find solutions, and didnt care I was there like every week until we found the appropriate care for what was needed. Soon after switching I was in an AWFUL car accident that could have killed me, again he had me in within sometimes less than an hour. He does not rush me, he lets me cry when Im frustrated and celebrates my accomplishments with me. I have NEVER had a more caring compassionate physician. Dr P has been by my side helping root me on as I have been on a weight loss journey. This is a doctor that will spend however much time is needed for each patient and I have NEVER waited in waiting room longer than 7-9 minutes maybe and whomever says the office is rundown and dirty...... is clearly either going to a different office and thinking of someone else or a very disgruntled patient or employee. I refer EVERYONE to Dr P and will continue to do so!!!!!

My son had a sport’s physical and needed X-rays for a foot injury. We always receive excellent care. The nurses are wonderful!

While people are nice here, I cant recommend it. I went in multiple times for the same issue and was basically told try this, come back in two weeks and repeat. I was given an antibiotic for an issue and then when I was almost through with that two weeks worth of pills was informed that those werent the right ones for my issue and I had two more weeks of new antibiotics to deal with. If they had called when they found out it would have been fine, but they sent me a freaking message on the portal which I did not have access to! So they waited days to contact me for a pretty serious issue! Their whole system is pretty outdated as well. Dont ever leave a message, you will either never get a call back or theyll contact you in a week or more. I had an insurance question and was told to leave a message, never got that answered and had to set my insurance company on them. At least theyre nice, but I like my health issues to actually be solved.

I have gone to my doctor for years up until December 5 when I got a threaten letter over a balance on my account I didn’t even know about . Letter clearly lied saying they had tried to get ahold of me which is a lie . I look at my mail everyday never seen anything .my cell is on me all the time . Then told me in the letter I could not be seen anymore well that is ok I don’t want to be threaten over 135 wow like that is so much when the doctors make millions . I will never send anyone I know there sad all the good office staff left now I see why . Never go there

This is by far the best drs office I have ever been too. I’m super sensitive to meds and have chronic pain and have to switch medicine all the time and instead of treating me like a addict they actually listen and try to do everything possible to make my pain better. If I’m too busy to come into the office they will return my call almost immediately and go over any questions or concerns I have. They are all great drs but I’ve never met a better or more caring dr then dr Panakos. They truly care about their patients here and not just about making a buck.

These people are the most incompetent doctors you will ever meet. Was a patient for 5 years and got mis diagnosed several times here. The final straw was when they told me my psoriasis would clear up in a few months, when it is actually a chronic disease
