I work at the Health Center and they are a very busy place Covid19 testing and vaccinations. Just call to make an appointment or to ask any questions.

I went to the Health Center for seven years and received excellent care each time. They are an invaluable part of the Auraria Campus. It was truly a sad day when I graduated and had to find a new set of providers. Nurse Linda was the best!

All they can really do is redirect you. Another reviewer said its a money trap and it is. Was charged for a birth control consultation which i denied and was still charged for nexplanon. they also dont let you know if insurance cover anything until AFTER care and charging you.

I had the schools insurance throughout my 3 years there. Dr. Ulgen and Hang helped me through so much. I will miss them now that Im graduating. Yes, it made tuition expensive. But they covered a ton of my surgical bills and I am grateful for that.

If your a student, save time money and a headache by opting out of SHIP, and enrolling in Medicaid!!! They do what they can here. That being said, what they can do is quite limited, as the office is small, under construction, and probably under staffed. If you have regular needs like mental health, it can be frustrating to deal with this place. Also, if your an athlete and have high exposure to injury, the SHIP plan wont help ya when you brake a bone, or rock your dome! That being said the staff does do their best! Again, its resources that are limited here....

The staff here is incredibly rude. I was trying to explain my situation and the person that was “helping” would not stop talking over me or let me finish what I was saying. I understood that there were people that may have needed their attention more than me but i was trying to explain my situation for a reason. If she had just let me explain everything she wouldn’t of had to ask me a billion questions since she wouldn’t listen to what I had to say. She’s in a position of customer service, teach her how to work in customer service or hire someone different.

Best place I have been to for all of my medicial needs, short of E.R. related concerns. Provided better care than the two urgent cares Ive been to. Very convenient to schedule my appointments around my work and class schedules. The health insurance is much better than my previous provider. Also gives students opportunities to learn, grow, and gain necessary experiences.

As a student, mental health services are covered for free. All other services are low cost or free, and they accept most insurances. Its a great clinic for students and is right downtown

I found the staff to be very efficient, kind, and helpful today when I needed medical attention. I am definitely glad that I chose to use student health insurance, and found everyone at this clinic to be caring & there for the right reasons. Definitely impressed and grateful for this benefit!

Every time I step in the Health Center, I feel that the ambiance of the place is always off. I go up to the people at the desk and the ladies are very mean, especially these two ladies. I dont like the fact that they are the first people I see going into the Health Center because it just makes my day feel bad. When I try to be specific about having a doctors appointment or about my insurance and or why I came to visit the Health Center, they correct me in the most insincere tone and automatically make me feel like they degraded me as if they knew everything. I met up with the nurse my last visit before going to the doctor that day and when I asked her if I should keep my mask on, she viciously said with some chuckle in her voice, Girl, you better. I dont want your germs all over me. I dont want what you have, uh uh. I understood what she meant, but I just had hoped she said it in a nicer tone. And when doing my eye exam with her, she kept irritating me because she was acting so unnecessarily rude as I performed the exam. Then came the doctor who did not understand my symptoms. I was just sitting there like he is a doctor...he should know what my symptoms lead to what I have. I just felt so betrayed by the Health Center because the one person I thought I could trust (the doctor), didnt even give me advice for what I should do next and was unsure of what I had...even though it must have just been a cold or fever. It made me feel as though he did not consider my time there as I had other complications I was worrying about in my sickness. He just told me he didnt know if I had the flu, cold, or fever; he gave me a prescription; and he called it a day after 10 minutes of my visit there. I at first did not mind spending that much money for my visit at the doctors appointment, because the Health Center did not accept my insurance, upon scheduling the appointment since I really needed to make sure I did not have any other virus in my body. But after that visit, I have never advertised any facility as one of the worst facilities to visit especially on campus. If there is no change in how the Health Center acts, I will continuously have no respect for them and endorse the Health Center as one of the places no one should ever visit on campus because they make the Auraria Campus look very unpleasant. I have visited the Health Center various times for different situations but felt the need to write the review only now as my last visit topped it off. I dont even want to give a 1 star for the Health Center, half a star is enough for how they treat the students, staff, and faculty on campus as Ive heard from others. I did not realize how many of their patients were treated with the same disrespect as I did there.

I feel so fortunate to have had the health center during grad school! I had been to about half a dozen doctors over a two year period and Dr. Lorenzo was the first one who I felt actually took me seriously. After a long few years of symptoms, he ran a slew of blood tests which ultimately lead to a celiac diagnosis. Im so grateful!

Currently being treated for a number of things, including anxiety. The resident Psychiatrist, Dr. Hauxwell, is bright, thoughtful, and very experienced. If you are a student with the schools health insurance, it costs nothing. Highly recommended.

This has been a savior for me as a student. I have been able to walk in or make an appointment the day before I needed to come in. They are fast and eager to help. I broke my wrist and was able to come in the day after the accident and get a cast.

Front desk staff is very rude. Might as well not waste your money on school insurance just to use this clinic. Save your student loans kids because this place is a money trap. With little fees and no remorse.

This is the best comprehensive care Ive ever had. The staff is phenomenal and as a student at MSU, the convenience of having health care available on campus is invaluable.

Ive never been charged $50 ANYWHERE else for being 5 or 10 minutes late. Whenever you are late the staff is snarky and rude about it. I have had a terrible experience here. If the school wasnt forcing me to have insurance I wouldnt even get seen here. I hate it.and DO NOT RECCOMEND it. This isnt a reflection on Dr. Evans but this definitely is a reflection of the staff and the way the health center is set up. Absolute garbage.

The Doctor I saw did not take my anxiety seriously, and treated me with skepticism regarding my medical history. The doctor agreed that I should be treated for my symptoms, but refused to person prescribing them. He referred me to my primary care doctor for treatment. Overall, I got nothing from my visit and was stuck paying $126 for my appointment. It was a horrible experience that only served to make my life more anxiety filled as I was treated with skepticism, was shown little sympathy and was not helped in the slightest. If you need medical help, just go to a real medical center and skip the middleman.
