Dr. Kennedy is the best private practice doctor you could ever have. These negative reviews are simply anger/jealousy from not being able to see such an amazing doctor invested in your health. I would ignore those one stars. She’s worth the fee for signature MD. You’ll get guaranteed next day appointments and you can call/text her anytime. She’ll get you right-o before you know you’re broken. Preventative care is key. I would not trust my health with anyone else. I have been her patient for 15 years now. Wouldn’t trade her for a million bucks. How much is your life worth? Because you get what you pay for... (if she’s not the right fit for you, you’re probably a real jerk and should look into getting psych help)

I have been a patient of Dr. Kennedys for a few years now. I can state, without question, that she is the most qualified, professional, and courteous doctor I have ever had. As her practice has expanded over the last two years there have been growing pains. Even through that this office has catered to my every disabled need in an expedited fashion. I couldnt be more pleased as a patient with Highlands Health For Life.

I was a patient of Doctor Kennedy for several years until her practice moved to an expensive daily payment access option to be able to retain her services. It was very disappointing, exclusive, and the several times I saw the physician assistant since losing Dr. Kennedy I felt she always lacked a bedside manner and never was invested in my well-being. When I had Dr. Kennedy, I appreciated her knowledge, expertise, and care; but the way the practice is now run I cannot in good conscious remain a patient and will be transitioning to a new primary care physician.

Ive been coming here since July 2015. Every time i have come i have paid the same price for a standard office visit. Today I went for a new issue... basically a consultation where i talked for 30 minutes. when i left the office charged me $50 more than normal. I asked why and the lady at the front desk had me talk to the office manager. she told me the cost of your appointment is based on how long and how many minutes the appointment lasted. which i have never heard of at a doctors office. so i asked her to tell me how long my last appointment was because i still think i was being overcharged (because this appointment was shorter than any other). she told me she could look it up but it would take her 48 hours. I informed her i just gave her my money and i would like a price breakdown. she refused and kept asking me to leave her office. I then told her i was going to leave a bad review and i left. she proceeded to stick her head out of the office and scream down the street that I am not allowed back to the office and she was going to DELETE ALL OF MY MEDICAL RECORDS. Honestly never have been treated so terribly in my whole life.

My family thinks Dr. Kennedy is great, and she treats all of us (me, my wife, and two young children). She was able to diagnose my wife when she had a rather obscure condition (to the surprise of other doctors). More importantly, Dr. Kennedy is patient, kind, down-to-earth, and straightforward. My family leans towards the alternative side of medicine, and while her recommendations are not oriented that way, she is respectful, curious, and open to our ideas. She also has been rather conservative (vs. jumping to dramatic conclusions or treatments), which I think is a good position. Her office is prompt and were able to see her that day when theres an acute situation.

Unfortunately you cannot see the doc here unless you pay an additional fee and become part of her exclusive clientele (An approach very fitting of the neighborhood and recent gentrification). Prepare to see a PA for a doc that has 4500 patients according to the receptionist, which leaves one to wonder how thorough the treatments can be.

Dr. Kennedy is awesome. She has great bedside manner and is very thorough. Look forward to bringing my daughter to her. So blessed to have such a good family practitioner in the neighborhood.

DO NOT GO HERE! As a new patient - horrible experience from the first visit, through the follow up with the office manager.First, at my first visit I needed an EKG. They had a male nurse in the room while I was naked without warning me, or asking me if it was okay. Then, the other nurse quit the day of my visit, and never sent a fax request for imaging. As a result, the next day - a separate nurse sent me to a facility considered as a hospital, not an imaging center. I am now dealing with a 700$ as opposed to paying a small fee for X RAYS!When I called to complain to the office manager - she said the office was understaffed and asked me if I needed a job? She told me she would follow up with me regarding information I requested - and she sent the information VIA TEXT MESSAGE! When I called to ask the information be mailed to me as opposed to sent via text, she told me that I was not a priority because they are understaffed. When I pushed her for the information she said I dont have time for this - I AM DONE WITH YOUWhat type of doctors office is this?

Very inefficient office staff. From not returning phone calls after you leave several messages and being told they were understaffed and I was not a priority. Office personnel and nurses are rude and have excuses for not doing their job, I understand I am not the only patient but a little care in calling back patients in a timely fashion would go a long way. Scheduled an appointment and drove 40 minutes to get there just to find out they didnt schedule an appointment with the Doctor but made a lab appointment for me and their excuse was that it was a appointment software issue and not an operator error of the front desk personnel. This whole experience was frustrating and after talking to the Doctor who referred me she said that several patients that she had referred had complained about similar if not the exact same issues. Not worth my time.

In order to be a patient of Dr. Kennedys, they require you to sign up for some premium health service that costs $1600 (not covered by insurance)?!? What a joke.

My first bad experience here was when I was told they could not see my daughter when she was sick. I had to jump through hoops to get registration paperwork filled out but then they never bothered to follow up. The second was when I was told they could only see me a month away. This practice is not well equipped. They didnt care for my opinion when I told them I would go elsewhere and then they locked me out of my online profile so I could access prescription information.

I have never seen Dr. Kennedy, but I wanted to become a new patient of hers, but she requires a fee of over $1000 a year to see her. Otherwise you have to see a PA.
