Bad experiences with two doctors in this practice. One took months to get back to me after diverticulitis hospitalization in 2019 and the other literally refused to give me antibiotics during a current ongoing diverticulitis flair up where Id been hospitalized 2 weeks ago. Second doctor demanded I get yet another CT scan even though she had the one from Rose Hospital. Do you have any idea how much a CT scan costs and its no picnic to get an IV with contrast put in your arm when youre literally still black and blue from your hospital stay.I have no idea why shed demand further proof of my illness when shes got records of multiple hospital CTs, etc. She also knew I was seeing a surgeon in a few days to address the ailment but apparently she didnt care that the infection had come back after I saw her last week and that Id been suffering again for 4 days. I felt abandoned, left to fend for myself. No one should be forced to undergo an invasive procedure a second time in such a short period of time because they are still sick and need antibiotics. What is wrong with this doctor?

Dr Miller is THOROUGH & HE LISTENS!! I left VERY impressed aftermy 1st visit. Unfortunately a dear friend of mine who NEEDS a digestive specialist BADLY, won’t be able to use him, because she is Kaiser. She is VERY unhappy with her digestive specialist. I recommended Dr. miller HIGHLY, but I don’t believe she will be able to use him due to her insurance.

The staff at this practice have a serious lack for attention to detail. I ended up with a bill, which I am still fighting, due to coding a procedure as elective when it was not. Dr. Siegel presents a diagnosis upon initial 5 minute conversation then proceeds to close his ears. The epitome of a god complex.I recommend proceeding down the list of potential digestive medical practices. They seem to create more of a problem and misdiagnose the problem presented.

Wow, I don’t understand why this clinic doesn’t have more stars. They worked me in in an emergency, where other clinics couldn’t get me in for a month. Dr. Miller was so thorough, kind, and helpful. He took me and my pain seriously and was so validating. I highly recommend him and this clinic!!

Dr Lawrence Miller was thorough, really nice guy, and listened to my issues. Would recommend him. However I felt that there was very little comprehensive conversation, and the situation felt very traditional in regards to doctors just prescribing medication as a blanket to fix an issue and not trying to look at the whole picture and make an appropriate treatment plan. However the medical assistant for Dr Miller was extremely hard to get ahold of and would not call you back for weeks. After my third week of trying to get in touch with her, I gave up. She only tried to call me back once over three weeks. I had called 5 times- 5 messages over that time.Also- sometimes they would start telehealth very sessions late, this would really mess up my schedule.

Have been very pleased with Dr Miller - his level of attention, knowledge, and holistic approach have been very welcome. I would recommend him highly if you want someone who is both direct but who will help get to the bottom of any chronic issue that you might have.

Lee Anne is a fantastic Medical Assistant to Dr. New, an awesome gastrointerologist at the Denver Digestive Health Specialists. Dr. New is fortunate to have her as his assistant. She is compassionate, understanding, honest and you can trust her. She is always on top of things and has the ability to work well with Dr. New on any questions or concerns you might have. She makes you feel important and calms your anxiety.A Medical Assistant or anyone at the front desk needs to have the ability to make patients feel important and at ease before they see the doctor. She is a ray of sunshine.Dr. New and Lee Anne make a great team and anyone who goes to see them has made a great choice.

I am an RN who has worked in critical care and I have experience with medical professionals generally and gastroenterologists in particular. I have seen Dr. Laura Wolfe 4-5 times and she performed an EGD. Dr. Wolfe has a warm and caring demeanor. She really listens to her patients. She encourages you to tell your story. She is knowledgeable and explains her thinking. One of the best I have encountered.

Do not use this office if you do not have insurance. I see other reviews where they have the same trouble with payment and disclosing fees and I wish I would have read them first but I was so sick I needed immediate help. An on calldoctor saw me in the hospital and charged a lot more money than my regular doctor and for less time. When I didnt pay the bill fast enough they dropped me as a patient and took me to court. I left messages for the billing department about the charges and they never bothered to call back. Really bad customer service , and they treat you poorly if you dont have insurance. The surgeon they recommended charged me less to remove an organ than they did for office visits, they only care about making money from insurance companies here. My new GI is informative and explains everything to me, unlike this office. Glad my new insurance is paying him instead of this office.

I saw Dr. Miller after having been to several other gastroenterologists in the area and he was by far the best. Not only was he extremely thorough, but he actually explained the issue to me in a way that I could understand. I really felt taken care of

I have no idea about the quality if the care at this clinic. And why do I have no idea? Because they NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE OR RETURN VOICE MAILS. NEVER!!!! My husband and I left 6 messages in 3 days. We were attempting to schedule a colonoscopy. I ended up scheduling somewhere else, who were incredibly efficient. If this clinic does call back (probably not, since its been 5 days), I would not feel confident going to a place with such a incompetent office staff.

Been a patient at this office. Have payment arrangements and the debit card i gave them to deduct from and i do not keep money in that account unless i am paying a bill. Heres the problem . . . . .Called and spoke with Claudette and she was the person who i made the agreement with. I only authorized payments through May 1st and they continued to charge to my card which will result in a NSF fee. I asked to be reimbursed and was told that i would have to ask the office manager. She told me shes not there all the time and did not enter my charge payments therefore had no control over it. Later on she said she entered the payment. I tried giving constructive criticism and everytime i tried to speak she didnt give me the opportunity to. I was trying to explain how this situation could further be avoided and ultimately she hung up on me.

If you are a business professional with a tight schedule, do not schedule with Dr. Miller. I called to let them know I was 5 minutes late, showed up and was told he would not be able to see me until 3 hours later. I asked if he could see me for the remaining time of my scheduled appointment and he refused. I feel bad for the women at the front desk that have to deal with his ego. Very dissappoiting as I had a great experience with him through the first meeting and endoscopy experience.

If you care about your health, see a different practice. I was seeing Dr. Miller specifically, he seems to lack empathy and time for patients. He offered me an unnecessarily negative outlook on something that is completely treatable and common. Most doctors will try to stay positive and use basic emotional intelligence skills when talking to a patient- unprompted Dr Miller talks about death, cancer, and never feeling normal again.Poor customer service, poor communication, and extremely difficult to schedule appointments. The waiting room is dated and has a musty odor. Appointments consistently run 30 minutes to an hour late.

Dr. Fishman is always listed in 5280 Best Doctors, and I know why firsthand. i treated with him years ago and i always had the confidence that I was with a physician at the top of his game. He treated my wife this year and was also amazing to her. Then recently, I had a colonoscopy as part of a gift for turning 50. Not a fun procedure, but I knew i was with the best, which helped make it easier. It is without hesitation that i would recommend him to anybody who needs a top gastroenterologist.

Doctor Miller was very negative and did not care to hear my situation before he jumped to diagnosing a huge amount of prilosec for a month. Without really hearing my story he just assumed he knew what was wrong. After a month of taking prilosec in hopes of feeling different I felt the exact same. He never made any recommendations towards a diet and completely ignored my comments on the pressure I was experiencing in my chest. He was so certain that I had just damaged my esophagus when really I had a hiatal hernia. He also had a very unorganized office and could not wait to pass me along to his assistant after sharing that many people have to take prilosec for the rest of there lives and not giving any optimism for my situation. Never again.

Went there to see Dr. Fishman. He asked me why I was there to see him since I told him my issues were joint pain and swelling of my feet hands and forearms, pain that has been getting worse for the past 4 1/2 years...my rheumatologist wanted me to see him. I get there and he asks his questions and I answer them he said I dont think you have any GI diseases based of the answers I had given him so he says but lets get a stool sample anyways come sit down and talk to my assistant she will set you up with it so she prints me off a piece of paper and I said so how does this work because I live 2 1/2 hours away and she said oh you can go to the 4th floor to the lab its a blood test and get it done.I was kinda off taken back because Dr. Fishman said a stool sample.I was like oh ok 🤔so off I go to the 4th floor to Labcorp.I get there and the girl behind counter says ok we will get you the kit and I said is it something that I can just mail or ??because I live a ways away there is no Labcorp where I live and she said no. So clearly his assistant had no clue what test I needed. So a big big wasted 5 hour drive (round trip) for a 20 minute visit. While i cant say anything bad against him has a doctor he should have realized that there was no way I could have provided him a sample if I dont live in the metro area!!

Dr Fishman is terrific. I had a small emergency over the weekend and he called me back within minutes, told me to go to the ER. Then he called me the next day to be sure I was ok because the ER didnt phone him, even though he had my results and knew I was ok. I always liked him before, but I thought this was a step above.
