My masseuse cancelled my appointment the morning I was supposed to go in for my massage. Because I really needed one that day (post-marathon), I could not get back in at any location. Luckily, I cancelled my membership before this occurrence.

Everyone was so friendly & the place very clean & the massage helped my neck pain. But ... I booked a prenatal massage, mentioned my pregnancy to two different ladies at the front desk who made sure I was booked for prenatal, and mentioned having pregnancy-related headaches to my therapist—yet midway through my service, I expressed surprise at how “normal” the massage seemed for a prenatal one, and the therapist said she had no idea it was prenatal the whole time. Have to dock some stars for peace of mind (can’t say I left feeling very relaxed after that!). Pregnant ladies: triple check with everyone that you’re getting the right massage.

My boyfriend and I had both booked CBD massages on a day off together. When we arrived we were informed that one of the therapists was allergic to CBD and couldn’t use it in the massage on one of us which was a bummer. I wish they would have called ahead to try and figure another solution out rather than waiting till we got there. Instead they offered another add on service so I had picked a scalp massage instead. The therapist did a great job on the massage but I didn’t get the scalp treatment. Which was another bummer…then when leaving I told them I didn’t receive the scalp treatment and I was still charged for it….at that point I was so disappointed I just said screw it and didn’t bother trying to get a refund. The whole thing wasn’t relaxing at all. More of a hassle than anything.

Had the most fantastic facial, staff friendly and knowledgeable. Love this place!!

This morning I visited Hand & Stones Cherry Creek location in Denver, CO. Elaine M. was my esthetician and she gave me the best facial Ive had in my life. As someone who has had acne since he was a teenager, I have seen many estheticians in my life and Elaine, hands down, gave me the best experience.Ive actually never written a Google review before but my visit put me in such a good mood I just felt inclined to share!

Ive loved the facials and massages that Ive received here. The products are fantastic and the hot stones really pulled out the pain (along with the hands of a very experienced therapist!) from my shoulders. The front desk always works to accommodate my schedule and needs. Definitely recommend Hand and Stone!

I have reached out to the office several times and have been told to give my information and the manager will call me back. Almost a month later i’ve never heard back from the manager and continued to call. Not happy with the poor communication.

Im fairly new to getting a massage. This was my 5th massage ever and Ive gotta say that Ashley was by far the best masseuse Ive had! Everyone else has a routine. Ashley asked me exactly what I wanted and she absolutely killed it! Im a mechanic and my body hurts every day. She focused on my back and arms and I feel amazing! Thank you Ashley!

Hands down, hand and stone Cherry Creek is the best. Management there is phenomenal and so are the estheticians and massage therapists. Definitely need to try out the new Theragun, & If your getting a facial Make sure to get the dermal infusion. My skin has never felt better.

By far the best massage I’ve ever gotten. I was there yesterday and Ashley was awesome, really cool and chill and allowed me to just relax. If I lived in Colorado she’d be the ONLY masseuse I’d go to. I gave this review 5 stars just because of her.

Although, at first, I had been upset about a couple things that had happened here, I would say the manager and owner went out of their way to resolve the issue which built back the trust with me and Hand and Stone. I would likely not go back to this location, but I did write a very positive review for the Northfield location. Im appreciative of the great lengths the management and owner toom to salvage the relationship and my 5-star review is based on my experience with them.

Manager LIZ is an exceptional manager. She went over and beyond to ensure we had our Valentine’s Day massages. Our therapists were also great, further, they too went went the extra mile to accommodate our schedule. Refreshing to see that outstanding customer care still exists. And yes the massages were Equally as good as the care. Go to hand and stone cherry creek, You’ll love it.

Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa is the BEST place to come to relax and forget the days before. I normally dont leave reviews, but the service was so great that I had no other choice but to praise them! The front desk was exceptionally polite and Evelyn gave me the most soothing hot stone massage that Ive ever had. I definitely recommend her and this company to cater all of your needs!

Update: Still have not canceled the membership after receiving written notice & verbal notice... 08/30/2020.I absolutely regret ever signing up with this aweful place. Their turnover is so high, you might be lucky to a good massage. But they will likely be gone or unavailable 3 months later. In the meantime, youll have to deal with mediocre work. In addition, I asked them to cancel my membership 6 months ago. They still have yet to cancel it. I rarely write bad reviews. But I am absolutely sick & tired of the poor customer service, the poor product, and poor effort to accommodate a cancellation request during covid. There are simply far better massage places to visit.

They make you sign a paper after you cancel your membership that you’re “aware” that you must use your last package before 90 days but they don’t tell you with their words. I lost mine due to their lack of communication skills. Never coming here again and will make sure to NOT recommend this place to any of my friends :) FYI, I thought that paper I was signing was an agreement that I wanted to cancel my membership but whatever steal my money !

While I have had many massages over many years this was my first hot stone massage. It was very relaxing. Very professional front desk. Massage therapist was very good at explaining what he was doing and at noticing things (physically) and asking about them.

My massage exceeded my expectations!This was my first visit at Hand and Stone, but not my first massage. Ive had a range of massages from exceptional to is this it?! I was being treated to Hand and Stone and didnt really have any expectations except to (hopefully) loosen up my neck and shoulders.Josh was my masseur/massage therapist. He is relatively new to the N&S team. Joshs knowledge of anatomy, and the science behind the benefits of massage were evident as he worked on my back, neck, arms, legs. Holy cow! The hour flew by. I had the salt stone massage with CBD oil. I was in a daze when I came out. Josh will be my Go To masseur going forward!I was unaware that N&S offered a membership similar to Massage Envy. Their location in Cherry Creek (across from the Halcyon Hotel on Columbine) is convenient. The reception has a nice spa vibe and the staff are friendly and helpful. Im on the fence about joining, but will certainly return for Joshs skilled hands. Thank you!

I have mixed feelings about H & S because I had varying experiences and that is exactly why I am giving 3 stars instead of 4 or 5. One time Id have the most helpful and relaxing facial of my life and the next I was completely disappointed. I got really tired of having products shoved at me with every visit too...even after Id purchased them last time. The staff is friendly though and the place is always clean.

I enjoyed my massage but I didn’t appreciate constantly getting sold a new membership deal, promo, or to try an add on. I overheard the employees assessing who was winning the contest to grab the most add ons. It all felt fairly aggressive and not what you want when you are trying to relax and treat yourself. I think they could do better at making the experience for customers better even if they aren’t members.

The facility is clean and inviting however, my therapist, Tabitha, was not. Her energy was completely off and you can feel that when a person is touching you. The massage did not flow and she never applied the medium/firm pressure that I asked for. Attitude was absolutely horrible and did not make me feel welcomed at all.

The location and facility are terrific; it is clean and relaxing. The actual massage experience all depends on the therapist. Mine was not great, my husbands was wonderful. It was a lot of little things that did not work for me with this person, however, I would schedue again with a different therapist. When booking, Id suggest finding out how long the therapist has been there (mine was pretty new, my husbands had worked there for a few years).

Brandi and her staff will write down your debit card number and steal it, then rack up huge amounts of fraudulent charges on your debit and credit cards.Then she won’t return your phone calls for weeks because she is shady and guilty!DO NOT come here.I had been a member for years, but once she became a manager the place turned into a dump and she and her employees decided to start doing illegal things. I have many good things to share about my experience. First of all, Bethany, my massage therapist, was absolutely incredible. I told her I have issues with severe headaches and migraines, so she focused on my upper back and neck, sending me home without the pain I brought to my appointment! I can also tell that they value an aesthetically pleasing aroma in every part of their spa, not to mention the friendly front desk staff. Ive had multiple massage services done at Hand and Stone in Cherry Creek, and I always leave feeling relaxed and refreshed! All of the therapists that Ive had do work on me have been outstanding.My most recent visit I added on the Himalayan stone and CBD treatments, and the next day Im feeling outstanding! My massage therapist, Chris, used the majority of the time I had to rub hot stones on my back. I repeatedly mentioned problem areas and he did not focus on these areas or do any deep tissue work. At one point, I just asked him to stop using the hot stones and focus on deep tissue work but he ignored my requests. I won’t be returning to this location. He was touted as a “excellent and amazing” massage therapist.

I love this place, have a monthly membership, and my favorite masseurs. Booked an open spot without asking the scheduler what type of massage the person does. BIG MISTAKE. If its not the kind you like, youll be disappointed like I was. I need pressure and that last was like having someone put lotion on my back. Ill never book without asking again!

I hate leaving bad reviews but this place is bad, or at least my experience was. I received an $85 coupon from work for a massage. I arrived 5 min late because I couldn’t find parking per usual in Cherry Creek. When I checked in I told them I was running late and they still made me fill out paperwork for 10 min. The woman who gave my massage was around 40, Latina woman who did not smile once and the entire massage was her shoving her elbow into my back. She also asked me several questions that I already filled out on the “extremely important paper work”. The massage was supposed to be 1 hour and she massaged me for 35 minutes. The total was $104. Like are you KIDDING me?? The front desk staff was also very unprofessional. They made me sit down for 10 min because they couldn’t figure out how to validate my coupon. I know I was 5 min late but that is ridiculous that I paid $104 for a 35 awful massage. I will NEVER return to this place.

The spa is new, always clean. Staff very professional and patient. Took me a few appointments to find my favorite masseuse. I have been a subscribed customer for almost a year. Being able to treat my hardworking self for a reasonably priced massage every month is really life changing.

They never called back.

I found their introductory massage special on Google and decided to book a massage. I saw review after review praising Ken and his expert massages so I scheduled a massage with him. He was fabulous- dynamic and seamless massage technique . He really listened and heard where Im having pain and worked those areas like Ive never had before (despite getting monthly massages).I had seen reviews about how pushy the spa can be about products and packages and was prepared to get my $59 new client massage and be out the door. BUT after an hour with Ken I knew I needed to see him regularly and I ended up signing up for $59 monthly massages. As long as Ken is with Hand and Stone Ill be back every month.

After an unsatisfactory year long experience with a competitor massage business, I tried hand and stone and found the staff to be above par, from top to bottom, from the front desk to the massage therapists. They are warm and welcoming, ever professional, and they seem to truly care about providing a pleasant experience. Josh is my go-to therapist and he has helped me manage muscle issues.

I loved my Micro Facial with Leslie! She was really knowledgeable, and I feel like was really invested in my skins health. We ended up doing a LOT of stuff, and everything is an add-on cost, so I walked out of there spending a lot of money on top of my monthly membership fee, so I dont know that Ill be able to do this every month, as she suggested, but I am going to try to work it out where Ill be happier with my costs and my skin will still be in good shape. My only complaint is that we didnt discuss how much everything was going to cost me during my treatment. (She did include one thing that she didnt charge me for, which I was happy about, but I still ended up spending over $200.)

First impression is very important to me so when I walked in, I was definitely impressed. The receptionist immediately greeted and welcomed me with a smile. She then offered and made me some tea. She was very sweet. My massage therapist was Jennifer. She was super friendly and really listened to my needs. I recieved a 60 min massage with the hot towel/cold stone face massage, as well as the lavender aromatherapy. I am not from Denver so I had no idea where to get a massage. I am so glad I went there! Great experience from the booking (the receptionists are super sweet!) to the facial. My esthetician was Nancy, she’s great. I asked for my face to glow, it’s glowing. She didn’t talk too much but just enough. Not sure about you but I love a good facial you don’t have to tell your life story through. Nancy is the one to ask for. Give this place a try. The first session is only $59. Work every penny

If you need deep tissue Chelsea is the absolute best. She knows the body so well. she will get into all the tough places, and does a wonderful myofascia release. My body has completely begun to transform after working with her. I will not see anybody else!

Went in for a facial & microdermabrasion using a promotional gift card I won. From the very beginning it was really a very poor experience.It started out in the room where the therapist lectured me for being late . “ Next time, when there’s paperwork, try being early. We now have to rush this process and are already ten minutes in.” As you can imagine I was immediately the opposite of relaxed.Next, after cleansing my face , she decided my skin was too red and sensitive for microdermabrasion-I believe my skin was red due to the scalding hot towel on there moments before but I’m no esthetician. She then left for about five minutes to ask what she could do instead and she offered me a scalp massage with the 20$ extra on my card. Not even close in comparison in my opinion so I declined. We then chatted about my options for another 5 min -increasing my frustration and of course taking more of my allotted time.She then said “we can go until 11:30, and we will do a hydration facial.” At that point she put on two masks, sunscreen, and that 11:17 decided she was done.And that was my experience. There were other weird comments from her like “are you even planning on coming back?” Which I found off putting. When I left the manager went ahead and put 40$ on my gift card but to be honest , that experience was so poor , rude, and far from relaxing (did I even get a facial? It felt to me like a layering of products and too much talking) that 40$ doesn’t really make up for it.My intention was to try this company out with the intention of establishing a relationship and regimen for skin care. That morning was so bad that I’m not sure I could stand returning.

I recently had a massage with Ken, and it was amazing. He really listens to my needs of upper and lower back pain. Ive received massages all over the world, and he was by far the best massage therapist Ive ever had. His technique and flow are unlike any other, and he has a true gift. Wonderful customer service. I will be going back to see him many times.

No stars here. I booked a massage for my 17 year old, dropped him off asked if I needed to come in, but could find a parking spot. He called me 20 mins later to say he got undressed and laid on the table when they realized he was a minor came in told him to get dressed and have me come back in. They would not let me speak over the phone to give my permission or come in after the massage. They made my son uncomfortable and the woman at the front desk was not polite or any where near friendly. Exactly why I dont use these massage chains.

I can never get them to go the full minutes. My last 100 minute massages were 5 to 10 minutes short! The time I did get was great!

I tried the Himalayan Salt stone massage with CBD oil this time and I was hooked. Very relaxing and the CBD oil definitely helped with my aching back. I love this place.

I had Unique as my therapist and she was absolutely amazing. She does an outstanding deep tissue massage and left me feeling a million bucks better in one hour time. Definitely would recommend this location and Unique for pain/stress relief.

Every time I go to Cherry Creek Hand and Stone I am more and more impressed. I have been working with different therapists since I became a member trying to find who I like best, and each time I think wow THIS is the one!; yet next time I come in I am blown away YET AGAIN.I think Hand and Stone has done an excellent job selecting and training their staff. Love this place for facials, from the heated chair in reception area I was sold! My Esthetician was knowledge and so helpful! Cant wait to go back next month! Parking super sucks here but doesnt it everywhere in Denver? They Validate at a garage - they say its close I never saw it - parking on street is limited and traffic is always heavy through Cherry Creek if your driving instead of walking.

This is not the place to go for deep tissue work. Ive had several massages done here and each time has been the same result and it always ends with a high pressure sales pitch from the front desk. I tried them multiple times as the location is convenient and I was hoping to find a massage therapist there that fit my needs, but Ive given up.

She said it was the best massage shed ever had (a little offensive since I give her one pretty often, but what can you do) and I would say the same except this was my first professional massage. It definitely wont be my last, though. The staff was friendly and helpful, the massage therapists were professional and good at what they do, and the knot that had been renting room in my back for several years finally moved out! ...Although it seems to be creeping back now so I should probably come back in. Awful experience at your cherry creek location. I rarely post comments based on service or experience whether positive or negative however this circumstance was infuriating. Ive been a member there only 6 months or so and cancelled my membership last month based on two factors, sub-standard service massage and lack of professionalism from your staff therapist. Upon cancelling my membership, and providing 30 days notice I realized I still had 2 remaining credits for massage or other service. Had the best massage of my life here! I’m chronically tight in my upper left shoulder/back area. He worked out all the tension which I didn’t realize went from my left hip all the way to my neck. I left feeling more open and tension free than I’ve felt in years.

Massage was excellent. My biggest complaint is that I called ahead to make sure that I was receiving a prenatal massage. They made me lay on my sides for the massage which is never very comfortable. After the massage, I asked when/if they would be getting the special belly pillows so that pregnant women can lay on their bellies. They said they actually had one, but it was apparently never offered to me. I would not have booked this had I known I would be on my side. Ill give it another try because the massage still felt great, but I wasnt thrilled to pay for a massage that I had to lay on my side for...

I originally cancelled my subscription because I could never get in at a reasonable time, even a wee out. I found out they had been billing me for months. Which is ok.. I had credits at least. But when I came back, I again had a difficult time getting in. Then, they cancelled my appointment. When they rescheduled me again, they lost the appointment... Front desk seems unorganized.

I had never received a professional facial before my experience with Kris! She is so knowledgeable and lots of fun! I signed up for the membership because i am so excited to try one of Hand and Stones massage therapists!

I have been a member with Hand and Stone for three years, and several massages at this particular location, but this one was but far the worst. Brandon was not very attentive, complained about the music selection for at least 20 minutes, and insisted on using heavy pressure even after I asked him not to. This is not a reflection on H & S as I have had wonderful experiences as well. This guy needs a new profession, though.

My shoulders blades were rubbed the entire massage I let him know my neck was the main area to work on and he told me he likes to save that for last. By the time my neck was massaged it only was for 3 mins. I need another massage and I just got one.

My mother-in-laws massage began, and the massage therapist asked if they could remove her diamond necklace to facilitate the massage, and she consented. Her massage proceeded without further problems, and she left, forgetting her necklace had been removed. A few hours later, she remembered her necklace was left behind. We called reception, and no one knew what had happened to the necklace, despite a therapist having removed it. Needless to say no one in our family will be returning.

Disappointed with my aesthetician was late in coming out for me by 10 minutes. I felt a bit uncomfortable during my facial as she complained a couple of times and I just didnt feel good during the my time. Last after leaving the room I never saw her again.

Up-charge, up-charge, up-charge.I regularly visit med-spas to receive medical grade skin treatments. I received a gift card for Hand & Stone. The $110 gift card got me what they call a basic facial. They offer you a menu of upgrades, I chose one and left there paying $120. Whatever.The problem was the four times I had to respond to joining the monthly membership. Four. That is three times too many. I ended up divulging personal information about having just launched a small business and that I was on a budget. I actually repeated that story - twice. Absurdity.While waiting in reception I listened while the receptionist called two patrons to ask why they did not leave gratuity and did they want her to add gratuity to their payment? Cringe worthy.I will never be back. Which is a bummer because I live a mile away. Instead I will continue driving all the way across town to Stapleton to go to Restor Medical Spa which is the end all be all amazingness of Dr. Waples.

The front desk is welcoming & accommodating, and the therapists and estheticians are intent upon making sure the guests needs are addressed. I enjoy every experience at this location and adore every staff member Ive gotten to know so far

Meh. Went In for deep tissue and got a light rub. Paid 15 bucks extra for peppermint scalp massage which was lackluster also. You would think an add-on means the add it on to the end, Nope. It takes away from your already scheduled time. Ive had better massages at the asian place for half the price. Just being honest here guys.

Fantastic massage! Nick is hands-down the best massage therapist I have ever had. I became a member after my first visit. The staff is wonderful and Alise (at the front desk) is adorable.

Disappointing. I wanted to relax & have me-time. The aesthetician was making a ton of conversation, asking questions & being way too personally opinionated about things I see a therapist about. I felt uncomfortable. And the hydrofacial machine broke. The rest of my “hour” was spent fiddling with it. My face was seriously exfoliated and no hydration put back in. (It peeled for a week after in the dry Denver climate.) I called the manager after, crying and sobbing, explaining how inappropriate I felt the aesthetician talked to me and I simply wanted to have the facial I paid for. She said she would try to do something with another branch to fix the situation. I never got a call back and it has been two months. [Note: I used to be a member. Upon canceling due to too much work travel, they still force you to pay a “last month”. I paid my approx $70 obligatory last month and used it towards the facial. I had to pay another $90 (for my face to dry out and leave crying) and I gave the aesthetician a $15 tip. If you do the math it’s the most expensive and worst experience I’ve ever had at a spa. It would have been respectable and kind if they would have made it “right” somehow. Just a dreadful waste of money.

Mitchell was the best masseuse Ive ever had. He focused on the areas that needed the most massaging. Highly recommended.

I have very minimal experience with massages and spas in general. Needless to say, I was a bit anxious on my first visit, but was immediately put to rest with the excellent and caring staff. So far, Ive been in three times and have never been disappointed. Nicca is an extremely capable therapist and always does a wonderful job! I can actually move my neck now! I only wish I could afford to go more often. Thanks to all of you!

I loved the Himalayan salt stone massage. The staff were courteous and knowledgeable. I was happy to purchase a membership and make this a recurring treat.
