South Shore Dental is the best of the best. I get really anxious and panicky about going to the dentist - I pretty much panic through the entire appointment. South Shore does SUCH a great job of making it a positive experience and helping me through. From start to finish they pay attention, actively make me more comfortable, and notably reduce my stress.I’ve had them do my regular cleanings, add a couple of fillings, and fit me for a clench guard, and they were effortlessly expert at all of it. Dr. Bryant is super calm, really friendly, super knowledgeable and comfortable in his craft, and has a great sense of humor and rapport. Nikki is awesome and made me feel seen and heard, made great conversation and really helped me feel at ease. And Patty was absolutely delightful, comforting, patient and kind.I’ve never remotely thought this before about a dentist’s office, but I am miraculously looking forward to my next visit.

My first visit to south shore dental was wonderful. While I don’t care for the actual teeth scraping, the staff and Dr were all incredibly kind and welcoming. Super clean and sanitary clinic. I’ve never been to a dentist who so thoroughly, himself, walked me through my charts/imaging and explained the status of my oral health. There was no rushing through just to get to the next patient. Highly recommend!

I went to this office because my friend was working there. My experience is as follows:The office is clean and well designed and the staff is kind and informative. Nikki is really awesome and obviously cares about her patients. The doctor is slightly unprofessional. I went in to get some fillings done on a day my friend was not in the office. He questioned me about the whereabouts of my friend and also mentioned that he thinks she’s a hypochondriac and wanted to know if she was out sick and if I knew about it. As her boss (former boss), I thought this was really unprofessional and inappropriate. When she left the office I decided to move to the office she currently works at to get some fillings finished. When I went to the new office the doctor took new x rays and said he disagreed with the old diagnosis and saw no decay. While I was pleased with the news, it left me feeling like Dr.Bryant over diagnoses decay. If you’re shocked at the diagnosis you received about the amount of fillings you need, get a second opinion.

Im writing this review because the 4.8 star rating and positive reviews are what brought me into this office, but the few negative reviews are what saved me a lot of money. Ill try to make it short and sweet but if you want to save yourself some money, I recommend reading (If you dont want to read all the way through Ill just say hear I saved myself $1400 by getting a second opinion and this office charged me a $50 copay that wasnt warranted for the services I received).I went into South Shore Dental for the first time and other than the awesome dog that sat on my lap and the really nice hygienist, it wasnt a great experience. The dentist told me I had numerous cavities, needed two fillings replaced, and a deep clean (even though I had just gone one exactly one year previous). I am 28 years old and I know my gums arent in top shape but he made it seem like my teeth were going to fall out in a year. He said I was on the fast track to gums disease and if I didnt take serious action now, I would need a gum graph is less than 8 years. I appreciate honesty but this was straight scare tactic. My insurance only covers 50%.. so I was looking at a $1400 bill and I was questioning how my dental health couldve declined so rapidly in only a year. Looking back at the few reviews that recommended getting a second opinion and that the office was in it for the money, I decided to do so.Went to another dentist and right when I walked in the door I was ready to pay a $50 copay. They informed me that my insurance didnt require a $50 copay for preventative services like a cleaning, exam, or X-Rays.. South Shore charged me that $50 copay. They also informed me that I didnt need any fillings replaced, my gums were in pretty good shape, no need for a deep clean, AND the cavities that South Shore Dental claimed I had.. were in the very very beginning stages of cavities, to the point where this dentist wouldnt even consider them to be cavities. She said putting fillings on those teeth wouldve only led to more problems in the long-run and preventative measures could be taken now to prevent them from becoming cavities.I wouldve paid $1400 out of pocket at South Shore dental had I moved forward with their treatment plan, at the other office I walked out the door and ONLY PAID $26.SAVE YOURSELF THE MONEY AND GET A SECOND OPINION IF THEIR PROGNOSIS DOESNT SEEM RIGHT

The South Shore Dental team is awesome! I had a tooth infection, and I was able to be seen the same day. Dr. Bryant prescribed me antibiotics and scheduled me for a root canal the next day. The procedure was quick, painless, and I immediately felt better afterwards. I broke my temp crown before the permanent crown arrived and again South Shore was able to fit me in on such short notice. Overall, I am extremely impressed with the level of service provided by South Shore, and I highly recommend them.

I am new to the area and went looking for a dentist. Because the reviews were so positive on google I decided to check out south shore dental. The staff was nice and easy to communicate with however the diagnosis and treatment plans proposed to me were insanely scary. The entire appointment took almost 3 hours to compete. The dentist was insanely rough and even told me to “raise my hand when the pain became unbearable”. Umm... come again?! I had no pain whatsoever coming into the office but my mouth was sore for almost three days after my visit. The dentist told me that it was deep cleaning. Like deep into my nerve endings cleaning maybe. Also, the deep cleaning which was painful turned out to be an extra $88 because it’s not included in regular cleaning. I definitely was not made aware of that fact. All that aside, the most concerning part was that the dentist treating me told me that I had stage 5 gingivitis on part of my gums and that I should “be very concerned and scared.” Which is a terrible way to break any kind of news to anyone. When I asked about the diagnosis and what I could do to help the situation I was told that the damage was irreversible and I would need to come into the office for more regular cleanings about 4x a year. I was also presented with a detailed treatment plan for this too. About $4000.FYI I am super careful about my teeth and I always felt like I had decent oral health all my life. So being told I have stage 5 gingivitis and that all my fillings needed to be replaced was a huge red flag. After leaving the office, I ended up scheduling a second opinion at a new dentist. Results came back that my fillings were fine and I had no sign of gingivitis. In fact my gums looked great. There was two weeks between seeing each dentist and the new dentist asked if they even cleaned my teeth when I went to South Shore Dental because certain teeth still had buildup that could not have just built up in the two weeks between seeing the first dentist. So I paid $88 for deep cleaning what they didn’t even perform basic cleaning.I would recommend that anyone visiting this office to get a second opinion somewhere else. I hate posting a bad review but this dental office has “money pit” written all over it.

Hands down the best dentist experience in all of Denver! The staff are extremely genuine and caring, all the way from the front desk back to the hygienist. Dr. Bryant is knowledgeable and caring. 3 years ago I left Dr. Bryant a 5 star review because he is a good dentist. However, the time has come for me to update this review. If I could give Dr. Bryant 10 stars, I would. He is an unparalleled caregiver/medical professional/Dentist. I would describe myself as one of his most extreme patients regarding the amount of work I have needed done due to the poor condition of my dental situation. I ended up getting full dental implants which is a crazy process to go through for anyone. During my journey Dr. Bryant has truly gone above and beyond to help me navigate my way back to a truly beautiful smile. Hes seen me after hours, during emergencies with no notice. His work is impeccable.Having said this I would like to address two common misconceptions that many people including myself often believe. The price of the work I had done was quite expensive but the price is NOT set by the dentist. They should only charge whats fair for his time and effort and that is exactly what Dr. Bryant does. So if you get a consultation and do not like the price, please realize that the American Health Care system is to blame and it is not the dentist trying to scam you. The materials, processes, and labor involved is incredibly complex and expensive and thats just what it is. If price is your biggest concern, then fly to another country and get the work done there. Thats the only way to seriously pay less. The second misconception, according to some other reviews, is that all dental work can be done with absolutely no discomfort to the patient. If you go to the dentist already in pain, Dr. Bryant will do everything within his power to resolve the issue and relieve the pain. That does NOT mean it might not have to hurt more before the issue is resolved. So take any other review here complaining about a painful experience with a grain of salt. If you are in a dentists chair for something other than a routine cleaning, your situation or its resolution is a result of your own brushing and flossing habits, your diet, and your genes. So sometimes you must realize that it might hurt more now to get something fixed so it doesnt ever hurt again. In closing I highly recommend South Shore Dental and Dr. Bryant for all of your dental needs. I also highly recommend Dr. Saunders for any oral surgeries needed, but thats a very different ball of wax if you will. As I mentioned earlier, I am an extreme case who needed a lot of work in my mouth area and Im very satisfied with the work done and the attention/care I received.

Haven’t been to a dentist in over ten years. Every aspect of it back in Miami was painful. X-rays were super quick and painless, doc had great advice for the damage I had caused to my teeth and gums over the years. Deep clean was quick and while there were a few sensitive bumps, it was refreshing and my mouth feels like it was upgraded. Can’t wait to go back to make sure I kept up on my teeth maintenance the right way. Also doggo was very nice. Great doghawk he was rockin.

Upon arriving today we quickly competed the paperless patient info and shortly thereafter Hayley came to begin what would normally be an uncomfortable next hour or so for most. It was the exact opposite especially for someone who hadn’t seen a dentist in several years. Hayley walked me through the process and got me ready for Dr. Bryant. She really was great and comforting. South Shore Dental is very informative and thorough during maintenance exams. I left with new knowledge of how to brush and floss more effectively. I enjoyed the friendly staff and will recommend South Shore Dental to anyone!

People were nice, but I have never been to a routine dentist appointment that lasted an hour and a half. There were 15-20 minute gaps in between each stage of the cleaning, x-ray, and gum inspection process, and I have just never seen that before. Maybe they were short-staffed that day, but if 1.5 hour appointments are the norm, I will not be coming back.

I would not recommend this dentist to anyone else. He cares more about his bank account than helping patients and I do not trust his judgment.

The facility exhibits a highly professional, courteous, and accommodating staff. They have an exceptionally clean front-desk area with a very amicable front desk staff, Ashley. I initially thought that it was all pretend when I first arrived and saw all the blue outfits; however, the experience went remarkably well. The office need to work on one thing, but it is a quick fix and not worth mentioning here. The dentist chair area is amazingly organized, clean, high-tech with friendly and experienced technicians and the natural lighting gives it a calming sci-fi décor. The dentist is honest/frank, friendly, reasonable, and professional, so no need to fear the used car, or luxury car sales tactics. It was my first time there and never return to the same dentist.

If you thought going to the dentist would be arduous, boring and fraught with jargon you thought youd left in Organic Chemistry from Sophomore year, youre mistaken if youre referring to South Shore Dental.Friendly, warm, succinct, informative, and personalable in every aspect.PS. Hendrix, the office dog, is awesome.Looking forward to my next visit.

I hate going to the dentist, like genuinely abhor it. South Shore is less terrible than other dentist offices. Everyone is really nice and comforting, nothing was difficult or painful, and I actually left without feeling traumatized. Plus they have a dog there sometimes.

IM THAT GUY; you know the type who grew up going to the doctor somewhere between level 9 pain and death. Im in good health have no cavities, brush daily and can find about 10 other excuses not to go to the dentist. That being said I went to Dr. Bryant to stop my GF from nagging. From beginning to end they were great. Easy process and they didnt kill me so that was good, haha. I suggest them to anyone that wants a clean friendly environment.
