I had a really positive experience at Escala Family Dentistry. I appreciate the professionalism, courtesy, and friendliness of everyone on their team. Dr. Escala explained a procedure they were recommending in way I could easily understand. Their hygienist, Teri, is especially awesome - experienced, warm and welcoming, always checking in to see how I was feeling during the cleaning and explaining what she was doing.

I love this dentist. I have been going there for over 3 years and the staff are freindly, professional, helpful and genuine. When i told the recptionist i find xrays uncomfy, she passed it on to the radiologist who took extra steps to ensure my comfort.

Although I am not a patient, I have referred patient(s) to be seen by Dr. Escala. The person I introduced is a former co worker and fitness model, he was happy to have her for veneers/teeth whitening as it would be a positive advertising experience for him while she would receive discounts. During his visit with the mentioned patient, he proceeded to share my private images/information from his phone while having an (approx. 30 min) gossip session about myself. This embarrassing incident shows to me not only his entitlement and lack of professionalism but I am bewildered why anyone would even behave that way towards someone referring business. Since I have also seen a lack of empathy in his behavior towards people with disabilities, I would not entrust care in him, I would not be interested myself in his surgical skills or his art of dentistry, however I dont think this same applies to his associates, they may be very fine at their work.

Dr. Saul Escala was extremely kind along with his staff and answered all of my questions, on top of being open during this outbreak. I went to three dentist and he gave me the best information out of all of them. Highly recommend.

I wish I could give this place a 5 star review. Dr Escala was very friendly and professional during both of my appointments this week (one was for a cleaning and the other was for fillings). However, they made me wait almost 2 hours to be seen on Monday and then made me wait another hour to be seen on Thursday. It seems like they are overbooking their clients.

The doctors at this dental office have done nothing but the best in order to help me achieve my dental treatment plan, including especially the financial aspect, which you can’t find in many other places.Aside from the financial aspect, the dentists as well as dental assistants and all other staff, make you feel like you’ve know each other for years, provide a welcoming and comfortable ambiance.Needless to say, their knowledge and professionalism goes well beyond expectations, and in my experience it has been nothing less than a wonderful experience!!

Although i certainly appreciate how thorough they want to be. As a new patient...the receptioinist advised i would have to make an appt for radiographs/xrays then make another appointment for a cleaning. I need this done in 1 day. Im sure your all lovely but i have to work. I asked if this could ve done all in 1 day. She said if no one book an appt after you. Well then book 2 appts for me in 1 day. Simple. Bad customer service.

Escala famaly dentistry is a awesome place I really do love it they always try to make you feel comfortable in love the people who work there they are all super nice

My husband went in as a new patient and we waited hours. We waited in the waiting area almost an hour and a half till he was taken back where he waited to see Dr. Escala another two hours. He said that the Dr. kept running back and forth along with the rest of the staff. When he finally got to see Dr. Escala was over all very unprofessional. He told him right away that he was running out of time when he asked a question. Then proceded to be rude to his staff. I would not trust someone who is rushing to get my work done. My husband did not feel he was given the time he deserved. When we finally thought he was done, they took him to Desy the secretary where she did horrible explaining the procedures and prices. She couldnt answer some questions and over all seem to not know her job. My husband said the place was unorganized. After going to a different dentist with my husband I decided to give this place a star. The Dr. mis diadnose my husband and was to pricey for the bad service he was given.

This is my first Google review and I never thought I would get on and give someone 1 star but today was terrible. I always wait at least 30 minutes to see the doctor. It took me 3 and a half hours to get out of there today and it should have been 2 hours tops. I was told I am last priority because I have Medicaid and I am lucky he sees me anyway. WOW. I never even complained and he had the nerve to tell me that after he was done. Not to mention he had someone else doing my fillings who was distressed and needed help and thats probably what took so long. He told her what light to use then walked away and started using that light on another patient so we had to wait! Ridiculous. You sit in a room with the other patients no privacy and he just keeps bopping around instead of seeing one person at a time. Very awkward and non professional. At the end, after I was told my Medicaid would cover everything, I was told there was actually about 500.00 of what I needed done that would not be covered. How can you tell me that months after you told me everything would be covered and after my 3 and a half hour appointment? If I had known that I would have asked him to fill the cavities on the side that was bothering me more. WORST communication. And then he was upset at me because I was upset that it was not all getting covered after I was clearly told it was. He kept saying it was just an estimate Yeah well maybe you should have told me that beforehand. I walked out of there after he was rude to me because I was upset I was misinformed. No apology or anything. And they dont even do nice things for you at this office like put Vaseline on your lips or a movie. Skip this place! You dont want to deal with this rude guy and no privacy or the attention you deserve at your appointment. Nobody should watch their dentist hop around and wait for him to come back while he is seeing someone who came after you and youve already waited 45 min to get started!

Horrible experience!!! Arrived at 6:15 for our 6:30 appointment as the receptionist had asked to fill out newpatient paperwork, more people arrived and they were taken back fast but not us we waited 45 min until i just had to ask what was going on since no one had the courtesy to let me know. Well we were brought to the back got xrays saw the arrogant dentist and then was taken to a little office room where they explained my plan of treatment and was a couple of things i needed done. Oooo but wait i needed my cleaning done.. Guess their response.. Oh the hygienist already left so i came for a cleaning paid for the appointment and she left with out seeing me??? The lady then said well we do say the cleaning isnt guaranteed! Well nobody told me this... This place sucks and their prices for treatment way over rated not gping back ever!!!! Had to give a star to give review but if possible -5five stars (negative)

Went here and got some work done, before they even see you they make sure your insurance will pay for what is needed...Well the months on down the road they come and say I owe them money, they do not even see you without the money up fornt, I asked the Lady what are you talking about she said the staff at the time messed up in the way she summitted to my insurance so they did not pay, it seem to me that is their staffs problem so they went and sent it to collections so now I am in the middle of trying to see where I signed a legal document where I am responsible for his staffs mistakes stay away from this place big Scam is whst they do here, filing a complaint with BBB and the Attorney General...

I have been going to Dr. Escala’s for years on and off and for years he has been working on front teeth recommending veneers. This year I took the decision in getting them and I could not be more thankful that I did and Dr. Escala did a wonderful job! The process was smooth, everyone that worked on my deep cleanings, whitening and veneer work in the span of months were incredible and walked me through the process the whole time every time I was in the dentistry.
