Dr. Tatum is an AMAZING,, compassionate and empathetic human being. My experience at Hood Dental was wonderful. Amanda, Michelle and Jade are so sweet. Today was my first time enjoying going to the dentist. I’m so glad I found Hood dental Kaycee and Dr Moore made me feel so comfortable. My teeth feels so clean. I love the atmosphere and the staff were friendly.

I returned to Hood Dental after some time off during the pandemic. They have always been very professional and still are. Blaire, the hygienist who took care of me during this visit, did a gentle, but excellent job of cleaning my teeth and taking care of a couple other issues that I had.

From the front desk, all the way to the back, everyone had such a huge smile on their faces and were so happy to do anything they could to make your experience better. Hood Dental Care is truly a very special place, I wouldn’t get my dental work done anywhere else! Those girls work so hard on a Friday afternoon, they deserve some margaritas!

I dont normally do reviews but this one is well deserved. I was in extreme pain from a fractured tooth and when l called Hood Dental they were able to get me in to see the dentist within 30 minutes of my call and l was a new patient. They were able to make my experience extremely comfortable and l also got a same day crown on another tooth that needed work. The whole visit was the best experience l have ever had at a dentist office. My family and l will use Hood Dental for all our future needs and encourage anyone searching for a dentist to make an appointment here. It is such a relief to finally have a great dentist. I moved back to Baton Rouge a few years ago and have tried a couple of dentists and Hood is the only one that compares to the great office I used to go to in New Orleans. I would say even better! Dr. Moore and her staff are great! They walk you through everything theyre doing and let you know why which is great for patients that have a lot of anxiety with the dentist. They are a very modern and up to date clinic which is something I look for. They’re personable, professional, and really passionate about their work! I would definitely recommend!

I have searched far and wide for a new dentist, and Hood Dental Care was recommended to me by a friend. I chose to see Dr. Alexander Simon because he is young, around my age, and since he is a recent graduate of dental school, he would be up to date on the literature as well as skilled in new treatments. He was very easy to talk to, listened to my concerns, and explained things that I needed very well. If youre looking for a new dentist who is down to earth, caring, and easy to talk with with a great chair-side manner, I would highly recommend Dr. Alexander Simon.

Kristen and Ashlynn were very helpful and friendly. Dr. Moore is an angel!! I was super nervous because of past experiences other places but they took great care of me. I was on a nurse travel contract when I found the wonderful staff at Hood Dental. My bridge had come out and I went in for a consult. The staff was able to get me in quickly and after consult it was decided I needed a partial. Impressions were taken and sent to the lab. My contract was coming to a close and partials had not come back yet and I was called often and kept up to date on progress. After partial came in, I was called and got in quick. The dentist did a fantastic job and I am beyond pleased with my new smile. If you ever need a dentist , go to Hood Dental where you will be treated like family and get top rate care.

Anna and Dr. Sandifer were absolutely amazing. They made me feel very comfortable and relaxed from the minute I was brought back to begin my exam. I went in thinking that I needed an extraction because I had been in so much pain but they were able to do a root canal and crown instead. The procedure was painless and they walked me through what was happening step by step. I am so relieved to have my tooth fixed and to be out of pain!

Top-notch service and hospitality. We moved to LA in 2019 and we’re blessed to find Hood’s Dental Care almost immediately. I had an amazing experience here! I was having bad tooth pain over the weekend, called Monday morning and they got me in and did a root canal, and cleaning all in the same day! They’re honest and willing to go above and beyond to keep you comfortable. I highly recommend Dr.Alex and Mrs. Kylie! Mrs. Blair is very good and cleaning everything quickly and is super knowledgeable and helpful with preventative care for my sensitive teeth!

Went there after referral from a friend and the 2 times i have been has made my uneasiness with dentist go away. Ms. Jacee, my hygenist was so friendly and calming. She also was the fist hygenist who would remove the tools from my mouth after asking me a question lol i will request her everytime!

Y’all.... when I tell you I have SEVERE dental anxiety, I mean I almost had a panic attack in the waiting room and left. Thank god I stayed. The staff here is so sweet, empathetic, and caring of you AND your concerns. They do their absolute best to make sure you are comfortable at all times. Also, not exactly sure what her job title is but Alexa completely blew me away. She is the only person in 23 years that not only realized I felt defeated, but assured me I wasn’t and they would take my burden away. She went above and beyond and I couldn’t be more grateful for how my service was today. I’m EXCITED to go back!!!

I will never go back to this place. I paid over $12,000 and it is the worst dental work I have ever had. My two previous bridges from another dentist lasted me 25 years each. My new teeth started falling out at the 2 year mark. I had 8 teeth worked on and at first the bridge with 3 teeth fell out. They said they couldn’t replace it so I lost 2 teeth then. No charge because the procedure was only 2 years old. Next 2 of my front teeth came off. They glued them back on and told me it might come off again and not to bite anything hard like an apple and charged me $375.00 more. Then 1 single tooth fell out. I swallowed it so that’s that. In summary out of 8 teeth I only have 2 teeth left that haven’t had to be repaired again and my teeth are in worst shape than when I went to them. $12,000 is a lot of money to a retired state employee. After I told my horror story other people told me they didn’t like the work they had there either.

Dr. Sandifer and Ashley always take care of me. I love chatting with both of them and the whole staff at Hood Dental is amazing. They are always on top of things and will always do what is best for you. I highly recommend Hood Dental.

Ive been using Hood dental Care for almost 3 years now, and so far I have had a wonderful experience each time. I used to be very nervous about going to the dentist, but they make me feel very comfortable and even regular cleanings are done very gently and without much discomfort. I just had two cavity fillings put in, and Im glad to say that I barely remember the visit at all, thanks to the medication they prescribed for the visit. even though I now live in new orleans, I will continue to travel to Baton Rouge to have my visits with them.

Can’t say enough nice things about Hood dental and the friendly and efficient doctors there. I had a crown come out one night, was able to get an appointment the next morning. Although they couldn’t put it back in because there wasn’t enough tooth left, Dr. Sandifer gave me options and an appointment for next week to have it taken care of! Everyone was very sensitive to what I wanted and the timeframe I wanted it done in. Everyone was very friendly and professional! I’m so glad I found this office and caring dentist.

Dr. Free reviewed them with me and we made a plan to fix what was wrong. They gave me the plan with pricing so I will know what to expect. I Also had an awesome cleaning done of my teeth. Tori made me feel at ease and that was greatly appreciated.
