First time appointment - very busy office but front staff very organized with smooth flowing patient traffic management. I arrived 20 min before my appt time to complete initial paperwork then was seen 15 min after scheduled appt time.. technician took me into exam room, took my vitals and information and then I was seen by dr less than 10 min later. Very much liked the dr and my initial visit with him. Was very nervous when I first walked in for exam but much calmer and trusting when I left. Initial treatment plan developed and appts made for ultrasound and follow up visit in a very timely manner. Highly recommend this practice and Dr. Ruiz.

Have always been satisfied with my care! Been seeing Dr. Harring close to 10 years; he assisted with my fathers care also. He is thorough and easy to talk with. Truly does everything to make sure my heart health is monitored extremely weii and keeps me informed on what I can do to keep myself heart healthy and help as I age. I totally recommend him!!!!

Dr Harring is an excellent physician. He gives his patients whatever time they need at the appointment . He always answers any questions you may have and he discusses his recommendations for treatment with you. DR Harring was way more thorough than others in collecting information about my medical conditions. He was upfront in disclosing his analysis /diagnosis and actually, by looking at the whole problem, solved a medical issue that was not identified by others. Seems like thanks to DR Harring, a six weeks long medical mystery has been resolved! Once again DR Harring demonstrated going after the source of a medical issue, not just the symptoms.

Dr. Cardenas is an avid listener - we always feel as if our concerns are understood and addressed. He has an easy-going, non-intimidating demeanor. If we had to make one criticism, it would be that he is so intelligent, his mind moves much faster than we retirees; but he always is patient and allows us time to catch up.I would not hesitate to recommend his staff highly as well. Servetri (I probably didn’t spell that correctly), his assistant, is thorough and always gets back to us in a timely manner with any concerns.I will just end with this: when I told my oncologist I was now seeing Dr. Cardenas, she was thrilled. Dr. recommending Dr. is a pretty strong statement.

Dr Cardenas literally saved my life with a multiple stent procedure and for that I will be forever grateful. His expertise as a cardiologist is second to none. This coupled with his willingness to answer questions and explain what is going on in my treatment is a breath of fresh air. I am very comfortable with literally putting my life in his hands. You will find none better. I would also like to acknowledge his nurses who are also 2nd to none . Together I dont think a better team is to be found.

Dr Ruiz was very patient and lovely to meet as this was my first visit. He went over my past history carefully. He did an EKG at YHE END OF THE VISIT and I had said that my Doctor in NYC DID AN EKG For EVERY patient when they walked into the office. Then you have time to discuss the findings during the visit. His staff was attentive and there was no waiting in the office. He was highly recommended to me by other doctors.

This is a highly professional cardiologist. I was able to make an appointment in one day in order to start treating my fairly serious heart condition.

I was set up with my PCP for surgery clearance examination but he ultimately did not clear me as his cardiac findings and EKG were in question. There was a sense of urgency as I needed this exam to clear me today so not to risk loosing my surgery date. I asked them to repeat the EKG but was told no it would make no difference. I said I am a cardiologist I am in a great deal of pain and need the surgery ASAP. Disheartened I call my surgeon who then referred me to Dr. Ruiz. I was an amazing and confident experience. At 1:45pm on the Friday before Labor Day weekend they got me in, re-examined and repeated my cardiac exam and cleared me for surgery and set up a follow up after the surgery to tie up a few things. The staff was great, professional, caring and timely. Dr. Ruiz was very knowledgeable, reassuring and an expert in his expertise.I would highly recommend him for anyone needing cardiac exam and care.

The appointment was perfect. However after the appointment I went to a lab to get a blood test that Dr. Cardenas ordered. The person administering the test asked if I had fasted. I had not. The document did not state that I should have fasted, nor was I ever informed orally that I should fast. I asked her to do the test anyway and she did. I have no idea if the results will be valid.

I had my first cardiologist appointment today with doctor Ruiz. A very caring, compassionate doctor who explained everything in detail and answered all my questions. Great personality as well. The doctor asks the right questions and listens to the answers. The wait is too long, and though the staff is nice, they need to communicate better to the patients.

Dr. Harring took the time to review not only the results of my test but to also show me the actual echocardiogram and show me on it what my issue is. He is very patient friendly and wants the patient to fully understand your diagnosis before you leave the examining room. Glad he is cardiologist.

Whoever wrote no wait has not been here. The wait is ridiculous. You can be the first one here and they will tell you “there are people inside and you need to wait”. No matter what you do, come prepared and clear your day to sit in a full waiting room. It’s awful.

Everyone in the office from Brenda to Yvonne to Dr. Harring was amazing. This was my first visit and Dr. Harring really takes the time to get to know you and doesnt make you feel rushed.

I agree with a previous poster who said the staff is argumentative and dysfunctional. I really like Dr. Herring a lot, but not sure it is worth the grief of putting up with the support staff. Im still waiting for his assistant to return my call of 4 days ago. I recommended my sister go there thinking that maybe I just had a string of bad luck with them...but no.....same issue. If Dr. Herring reads this.......find a different practice to join. This place is not right for you.
