I live in NY and was in Florida on vacation. Needed pain relief. I had the most amazing experience here with Dr Tony and his lovely staff. I have been in pain in my lower back for years. I’ve had Chiropractic therapy and accupuncture. It’s all been temporary except after 2 days in a row & 5 days later I am still pain free. First time pain free in 10 plus years!! Dr Tony Wilcox and Acupuncture Zen have been significant for me in healing my sports injuries. I’m an avid skier and surfer, and working with Dr Wilcox has helped me strength my knees and shoulders. I feel like my skiing/surfing is a strong as in college 30 years ago. Only difference is I’m not as nuts jumping cliffs, lol! I still ski open to close, and regularly helicopter ski, as well as, back country. If addition to the physical aspect, the Acupuncture has helped me through emotional trauma that has shown up in my neck or back. Dr Wilcox has a very caring bedside manner. His office is calming and welcoming. He has so much experience and training, his expertise is unmatched. He has an uncanny ability to get to the heart of what is troubling you physically as well as spiritually/emotionally, and immediately he makes a difference. I had a burning sensation in my lower leg and slight pain in my back. After having x-ray and MRI a friend told me before I get any shots in my back to consider acupuncture. He recommended Dr. Wilcox, so I went, not knowing what to expect. Dr. Wilcox took time to explain acupuncture to me and what to expect. It was very relaxing, to the point I fell asleep. After 2 sessions with Dr. Wilcox, I no longer feel the burning in my leg and the lower back pain only slightly now and then when Im over doing my activities. I would definitely recommend Dr. Wilcox and acupuncture to anyone who has never tried it. It is Amazing. I sought out acupuncture for help with severe insomnia, stress/anxiety management, tension-related back pain, weight loss, food cravings, energy rebalance, sinus congestion, and a little early arthritis in my hands. I knew I needed some repeat visits because it had been a long time since I took the time and energy for self-care as I work in an online education/service industry that I love, but that can be energy draining, and have a disabled child who is my world, but of course is a serious worry. Dr. Wilcox and his staff are a great team. He is incredibly knowledgeable and has wonderful bedside manner. He is not a doctore, hes a healer. All of his staff are friendly, attentive, and responsive. I found instant relief of sinus fog and hand arthritis pain and stiffness on the first visit of my multi-session package, as well as a feeling that my blocked energy had renewed movement up and down my body from head to toe. It was a late afternoon visit, so I know the sinus and joint pain was not morning residual stiffness. I left relaxed and reassured that this was what I needed to regain my balance. My posture even improved (tight muscles were loosened up). Several sessions later, along with a diet change, Im sleeping better, lost most unhealthy food cravings (still working on those), lost 10 pounds, dropped my caffeine intake from 6 cups to 2 daily, and I feel more centered. My back/neck/shoulder pain is gone as well. I continue to go to help me with deeper anxiety as a special needs mom. I call it my escape pod, an hour to be cared for in a safe, quiet, calming, and nurturing environment where the needles help my energy redistribute and balance to calm and center, or uplift and energize, depending on my needs that week. The crystal light therapy led to wonderful creative visions (Im also a hobby artist). Ive enjoyed the zero gravity chair too. I recommend trying cupping for severe tension, it really worked to relieve tension-related back pain.

Had a treatment with Dr. Tony yesterday and as I walked up to the back door the list of degrees and places studied was impressive, the office was super clean and smelled like nice essential oils. The front desk Camila was great during booking over the phone and really friendly in person. The walls of decorated athletes was super fun and the treatment mixed cupping, infrared and a very precise session of acupuncture. Was back to training today and my body felt much more energized. I ran the fastest 3 mile I’ve done all year. Definitely looking forward to see how it will affect my performance moving forward as an athlete.

Dr. Tony has been awesome with the treatment of my elbow. I’ve been having nagging pain for the last year and a half, tried multiple things and nothing seemed to be too effective so I came across his acupuncture office on a whim and had nothing to lose. His office is set up very professionally and has a serene vibe to it, making you feel relaxed when you walk right in the door. I’m two sessions in and I’m already feeling a bit better and am excited to see the profession with more treatments. Highly recommend !

My primary care doctor of 20+ years actually prescribed me a visit to Dr. Tony Wilcox for my needs after having experienced his approach to healing first-hand. My doctor said it was absolutely worth the investment for a trip from Dallas to Delray Beach, Florida to allow Dr. Wilcox to treat me using techniques other professionals such as MDs and PTs simply could not. Since Ive had acupuncture treatments before, I was open to the experience but didnt understand why my doctor was so passionate about me traveling to Florida to see this one particular individual. However, after a week-long experience allowing Dr. Wilcox to treat me wholistically, I am now passioinate myself in recommending Acupuncture Zen. Ive even flown my family out to Florida to share this experience since I quickly developed a high degree of trust in Dr. Wilcox - which doesnt come easily for me. He uses skills hes developed through years of training coupled with his unique gifts to quickly form a genuine connection with those he treats that undoubtedly comes from a place of love. Dr. Tony is great. The year before COVID, I have developed a severe eczema all over my body. For a person who never experienced eczema and never allergic, no dermatologist could cure me. Dr. Tony through his extensive education and knowledge was able to help. Recently I have experienced issues with my lower back. MRI results were not comforting. So I started PT in conjunction with Accupancture. So far the results are promising and as long as I can avoid injections and possibly an invasive procedure I will continue with with this treatment.Knowledge and personality is. A win win with Dr. Tony.

Dr Willcox is an amazing acupuncturist! Prior to visiting Acupuncture Zen, I had never tried acupuncture treatment before. It’s been a life changing experience! I have nerve damage from dental work that was diagnosed by an oral surgeon as Trigeminal Neuralgia. They recommended I see a neurologist and would possibly be put on life long medication such as steroids. I decided not to go that route for now and to first try acupuncture. After 10+ sessions with Dr. Willcox as well as CBD oils/creams, I’m feeling significantly better and I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. It’s given me confidence and hope that I can fully heal and won’t have to live with this painful condition for the rest of my life. I broke my back in three places -- Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI). Dr. Tony Willcox is amazing. For the first time in several years I can make it through the day without pain medication and laying down for most of the day. Dr. Tony’s initial assessment was incredible and made me a complete believer in traditional Chinese medicine. I walked out of my first treatment asking when I could come back for another treatment. I recently found Dr. Wilcox through a friend on FB who recommended him. What a treasure to have him right here in Delray Beach. He puts you at ease from the moment you walk in the door and is super laid back. He can quickly evaluate exactly what is going on with your body. He has a perfect blend of training, wisdom and intuition. His office is pristine, spacious and has a peaceful vibe. I am obsessed with the beautiful crystals that are in this space. The walls are loaded with beautifully signed and perfectly framed photos of professional athletes and musicians that he has successfully treated over the years. You can feel the love, trust and appreciation from all of his patients when you see the walls. It gives you a small glimpse into how many lives Dr. Tony has touched as a healer. His needle insertion is quick & painless. You will zen out during your treatment with the warm infrared lights and perfectly placed needles. I feel amazing after treatment and am out of pain and able move the areas that have been frozen. His assistant is a sweet, lovely and gentle soul, obviously hand picked for the environment and energy that Dr. Tony wants in his space. I highly recommend Acupuncture Zen and everything it has to offer. You will not be disappointed.

For someone who did not believe it would work... if I could give Dr Tony 10 stars... well that would not be enough. After tweeking my back on Monday I was unable get in and out of my car without pain. One cupping/acupuncture session this morning and I have To say.... I believe I will be back many times....I have been able to move freely with great ease and no pain, The comfortable atmosphere and cleanliness of the establishment is impeccable. Dr. Tony is an incredible acupuncturist, and I’ve seen many. I came to him with chronic fatigue stemming from some heart and anxiety struggles that had caught up with me. After a few sessions, I felt like my energy had all come back and my anxiety had calmed. I highly recommend him to anyone who’s struggling with any energy issues as I feel confident that after a few sessions you’ll be thrilled you came in.

This place is great! Dr. Tony & Camilla are so fantastic and generous with their time & energy. They really entertained Carl & my perspective and deepened our connection to ourself.I will also say that I felt pressured to give a five star review and then they called me the following week to schedule an appointment not realizing that I’d already come in. Dr. TONY is amazing!! Never have I received acupuncture before but he was highly recommended so I gave it a shot. I was little nervous about it at first but under a lot of stress so naturally I was looking for a solution where benefits would last.
