I like Dr Farakh, he is a very nice and kind doctor. However every time when I was there I waited at least 45 minutes to see him.Today, I had a phone call with one of the staff to request my X-ray and MRI results by email. The lady on the phone said they need to charge me $25 for the results and they can’t email them. The only way to obtain them is to pick up a print out which wasn’t possible for me since I am abroad, and need them urgently. The lady on the phone was very rude and she wasn’t understanding at all and she hung up on me.So, don’t go to this place at all!!!

I had appointment at 9:30 saw the doctor @11:30.Dawn is very helpful and nice. Karen in X-ray very pleasant and extremely helpful. Dr. Bartlett explained everything in detail also pleasant to work with.waiting room is small and you are not 6 feet away from the next person. People talking and playing games on their phones have no respect for anyone in the room. Parking lot very small park 2 blocks from the place. This is why I gave 3 stars.

If I could give this place a negative review I would. Absolutely horrible horrible horrible. Even trash is better than this place. I am beyond livid. I have never left a bad or good review for anything in my life but this place has forced me to write this. My appt was at 10:30am and I wasn’t seen till 1:30pm and for only 5 min by a PA who didn’t even see the x-rays or read the patient history before hand. He came in so lost and confused. I came to see the doctor not a PA. Didn’t get any clear answers or reassurances, just took the paperwork and left because at that point I wanted to be seen. The staff is beyond horrible. Front desk doesn’t care that people are waiting. They are working slowly, talking amongst themselves doing whatever, meanwhile their were over 20 people waiting in the room to be seen and they only had two physicians working. Why would they triple book patients when they know they don’t have the manpower??? Idk how this place is even running because I wasn’t the only one who went up and complained. So many people after me were waiting over two hours to be seen. I am so angry they wasted over 2 1/2 hours of my day. How is the health organization not involved in this and taking action? I don’t care if they are doctors, they are just mere human beings like me and can’t treat people like this. They made sure not to schedule any people when it was their lunch time so they could enjoy their food but crammed in over 20 people in the morning just so they could make money. I hope someone takes action against them because this is ridiculous. I am never coming back and will make sure to spread the word about how bad they are in every platform so people don’t have their time wasted. Absolute garbage and nonsense. No respect for other humans and their pain. This is not the role of a doctor.

This place is awful. I went for a visit with the orthopedic surgeon, I waited for about 20 minutes to be called into the room and then they made me wait almost 2 hours in the actual room. I ended up getting up and walking out. Do not go here unless you have an entire day to dedicate to your appointment

Horrible experience. Appt was at 3. Came at 230 to do the exact same paperwork I completed 3 days prior. Still waiting to be seen at 445. 2 people who came after me were seen before me. Someone who missed their appt 90 minutes before mine was seen before me AFTER getting x-rays done. Everyone says the doc will be right with you.

Awful. A patient mill. Made an appointment with surgeon to discuss possibility of surgery. Had 9 appointment eventually saw a PA 1130. Never saw physician. Took 200 dollars up front because they said I had a deductible. My copays should have been 50. Put me in a corner of Physical Therapy room kept being ignored even when I spoke up. Eventually PA cane in discussed issues. He told me he had to go to other floor to talk to surgeon. The PA came back up with a printout from a Joint Specialist. He said the doctor couldnt do surgery for me because I had some conditions. He told me the joint specialist would not care so much. I asked what he meant by that and the response was because the specialist they were telling me to go to instead was affiliated with public hospitals he would not care so much about cost. So basically he was telling me I would be too expensive for them to treat. Bear in mind I have insurance. They only care about profit. They also had too many patients in a small building it was concerning because of covid. When I spoke to them I was told It is not like this everyday. We had to take more patients today because yesterday was a holiday. They are so uncaring they literally voice what they think about money being most important. I could be wrong but they set the appointment up as a visit with surgeon. Yet I never saw a surgeon. I wonder if they bill as a physician visit? Been to Valley Stream office several years ago. It is the same way. Dr. Katz could not even take a moment to come in and give me this bad news himself. He sent his ridiculous PA to do it. I felt like I was worth nothing when I left that office.

My appointment was made at 9. The doctor wasn’t in until 11:30. The X-ray machine wasn’t working and I was standing for quite a period of time while they got it working. They had me fill out a lot of repetitive papers, at least 10 pages of personal information, mostly the same things over and over again.I’d rather just not take an MRI if it means going here. The staff aren’t bad or ignorant people, I think they were genuinely trying their best. I think it’s the management over there that are the problem. They need better equipment, that’s for sure. They’re extremely disorganized.

Superb care! They went above and beyond to squeeze me in and then were able to get me an appointment tent for an mri pretty much immediately. I was in so much pain but their attentiveness was speedy and knowing they made easing my pain and getting me back on the road to wellness has been such a comfort.. the staff was very nice . They were friendly and helpful.Surprising how patient they were even with the way most patients were treating them.. having an office that will squeeze you in even if it means they wont be home in time for their families means sometimes theres a wait.. and although the office is downstairs theres clearly a sign that states if you cant walk downstairs let us know and we will rectify that problem.I dont think I will ever go anywhere else... being that they take almost all insurance.and do testing and therapy as well.. I dont see why Id need to... this place saved the day... my heroes through this injury!

If you have whole day to sit and wait for the doctor you can go there. I had appointment at 3:00 pm i was there at 2:45 PM just to be on a safe side. The doctor came late and started seeing patients. The crew on the front desk is nice but they over booked patients that they cant handle patients in timely manner. If there were zero stars in the category i would love to gve them zero rating. Never go to them. Its already 5:00 PM and they have patients before me Good luck to me

I paid a visit due to severe pain in my knee after running. This was roughly 3 years ago early 2016. Like all others waited 2+ hours for a scheduled appointment and when the Doc finally shows up, gives me 5 mins and tries to expedite the process. I asked questions and at some point this Doctor tells me to GOOGLE it, Seriously!! Anyway, now in 2019, I was planning on going back, hoping things might have improved. Thanks to these reviews, I will save time and find someone more professional on GOOGLE!

Literally the worse medical office Ive ever visited. The woman at the front desk was nice but other than that there was nothing good about this place. No parking and overbooked. The waiting room is down a flight of stairs and people with injuries cant get down it. The doctor contradicted himself a few times and seemed unsure about what to do. On top of everything they never called us back and my girlfriend has been in pain for three weeks waiting for an MRI. Dont go to this place. Use any other practice because this one is absolutely terrible and unorganized.

My mistake for not reading any reviews prior to making an appointment. What an awful experience. Maybe 5 parking spots in total available. The waiting room is DOWNSTAIRS. Keep in mind this is an orthopedist who treats people in pain and can barely walk as it is. Greeted by an obnoxiously rude receptionist and then proceeded to wait 1 hour and 30 minutes to be brought back to an exam room. Then to be told that the doctor that the appointment was made with 1 week ago no longer works there and hasnt for some time. After an almost 2 hour wait, my fiance had a 5 minute conversation with a dr and a referral for physical therapy in their own facilityI THINK NOT! Please do yourself a favor and go ANYWHERE ELSE than this place. It is literally a dump on all levels. I wish i could give it less than one star. The whole place is filthy and unfinished. Run. Dont walk away from this practice.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Ill never return. There is not a single redeeming quality about this place. I am referring to the doctors, the staff, the facilities and the services and care you receive. To begin, the parking lot has barely any spaces. You have to wait for people to exit the facility to find parking. The facility itself is so filthy that you leave feeling dirty. You feel as if you are having a nightmare when you enter through the doors. It is like you are an overcrowded emergency room in a hospital, waiting for hours in pain. The moment you enter, you are greeted by a foul odor. Again, the facility is utterly filthy- there is dirty carpeting everywhere, peeling paint and creepy looking bathrooms. The place is completely packed. There are people everywhere, many of them standing up in the waiting room and by the stairs due to an insufficient amount of seats. The receptionists are rude, and the entire staff is incompetent. I came here after enduring with an injury for months, only to be told by a cold and uncaring receptionist that I would have to reschedule my appointment due to their only negligence in scheduling. There is also a safety hazard. The staircase is extremely steep and the carpet is threadbare. People are forced to walk down the stairs with crutches and broken bones. I walked down the stairs, in pain, only to leave feeling disgusted. There is no hint of organization. The MRI machine sits inside of a tiny room, and as soon as you open the door, you see it. The physical therapy area is a joke. There is an excercise pulley that is flung over the door. The physical therapy area looks as if it is randomly put together with items you would find inside of a house. This place should be shut down. To anyone reading this review, if your doctor gives you a referral to see any of the specialists at Island Musculoskeletal Care, I advise you to stay far away. And if you wish to take your chances, enter at your own risk.

I have to go with the majority of the reviews here. The last time I was there was in 2015. Im not able to use the stairs and that was the first thing they were trying to get me to do. I told them I couldnt use the stairs, so they had me waiting in an area for a doctor who really only wanted to see me for a few minutes. The place was packed! I had sprained my left ankle, and it was really really swollen. When the doctor looked at the x-rays, he said he couldnt see anything. And he was going to let me go home just on that quick review of the xray. Then I asked should I get an MRI? And he said, if you want we can do that. Why did I have to ask? After that it took forever for them to get the approval from my insurance company. I went to see them in December, and I didnt get ithe approval back from them until February. Thats how long it took for them to come through with it, and I had to keep calling them to ask them whats taking so long. Turns out I had a small fracture in my ankle that they could only see on the MRI. Physical therapy team is great, but service is lacking. So I dont give them a good rating, even though my husband is using them now, but I would never go back to them.

I was a little disappointed when I first went waiting area was crowed and then to be told I had to walk downstairs THEN back upstairs mind you the problems were with both my knees. I had to get X-rays done to come back and be told that I will have to schedule for a MRI which happened the next following week in a half. Then I had to return twice to get MRI done on both my knees on separate dates which I did not understand. And I was still in pain. finally after I returned in about a week I was then told what the issue was and then given injections. The down side of this all was I waited damn near a month to get relief from the pain I was having to receive 2 shots and to feel comfort.

Arrived promptly and from the time I entered the door, it took approx. 2 hours to place me in a room. 24 minutes in and the doctor finally comes into the room only to look at my back, feel my spine, which took about 2 and a half minutes. Have another appointment in 2 weeks. Will NOT be back. So in total waited nearly 3 hours to be seen for 2 minutes. This place is utter trash.

Our PCP recommended this place for our 13 months old baby. I called to make the appointment and the lady on the phone was very rude. She wasn’t helpful at all. I asked if she can email me the new patient paperwork to save time the day of the app. Of course she responded in the rudest way ! She said no we don’t do that. I work in a Drs office and we always try our best to please our patients. We fax or email the paperwork. We like to keep our patients happy. After we finish making the appointment I said thank you and she just hang up the phone. How rude is that ? This lady have no education or manners. The next day I thought about it and looked for another pediatric orthopedic. I found one in Northwell Health Pediatrics in Bayshore. I don’t even wanna know how these front desk people was going to treat us. Everything starts from the front desk. I’m sorry but this place is not patient friendly 👎🏻

This is not the place to go for warmth and handholding. All facilities are bare-bones, exam rooms, waiting rooms, x-ray closet, mri room, and the tiny rehab room. The staff is horribly overworked. On the plus side, the doctor was very good -- and they take my insurance.I saw Dr. Moros, who was efficient, informative, and actually listened to me. Although he was obviously swamped with patients, I didnt feel like one more body part on the assembly line.Outside the examination rooms, however, was a different matter. The support staff downstairs (where the doctors work) were incredibly overworked. Although they tried hard to keep it together, they were overwhelmed (one in tears). I was scheduled for an MRI later in the day, at 6 p.m. My adult son was with me when they assigned the 6:00 slot, and I was assured at scheduling that Id be out by 6:30. Yet when I arrived at 5:55, I was informed by the sullen receptionist that my appointment was at 6:30. You can wait, or you can just leave. I sat in my car for a half hour, to avoid the blaring TV in the waiting room, and was finally seen at 6:50 -- by a technician who was planning to leave, because no one had put my appointment on HIS schedule.I understand that these things happen. But the girl at the front desk was extraordinarily rude. I told her that, no matter what business you are in, if someone makes a mistake that inconveniences a customer, an apology is due. This would not have been a big deal had she simply said, Im so sorry. It seems someone put your time in wrong. If youre short on time now, we can reschedule, or you are welcome to wait a half hour and well do our best to get you seen quickly. Again, our apologies. When I told her this, the receptionist ROLLED HER EYES AT ME!

I went here via the recommendation of a friend. Hectic and poorly managed are all I have to say. The receptionists ignored me as a stood for a couple of minutes at the desk. One lady barked at me to sign in and sit down. They overbooked and the wait time was ridiculous. After sitting for an hour, I asked if I needed to fill out any paper work (they had forgotten about me). They had me go between the first and second floor 3x (i ruptured my Achilles) . To handle co-pays and other business. After almost 2 hours I finally saw they Dr. He did not even make eye contact and he was in the office for under 30 seconds. His P.A. did all the talking (which was bizarre). I was told to take an x-ray. They x-ray tech seemed annoyed did not offer me a lead shield for my reproductive organs (I am a young man). I left with a script for an MRI and tried to get one for 2 days, however the person in charge did not bother to start the authorization process. I had to have the manager from the MRI place call and ask for the authorization 2x days later (i was told this is something that takes about 2 hours). Overall, it is clear that this place is a mill. It feels like you are a piece of cattle, the staff and Drs have no emotions or compassion and seem to want to squeeze as many patients in A.S.A.P. It turns out I tore my achilles, but I would never go back here. I booked a different Dr. and we already started therapy. BTW this place still didnt call and tell me my MRI results which further shows that they care nothing about the patients. STAY AWAY unless you want to feel like a piece of cattle in a Chicago meat packing plant.

Two months ago I injured my knee. Thinking it was a torn MCL I made my appointment with Dr. Moros. After going down the stairs (ouch!) I was told I needed to go back up for an x-ray. X-ray was done and I opted to be seen in the physical therapy portion of the office upstairs. An hour and a half after my scheduled appointment the man of the hour showed up. After less then 5 minutes he ordered an MRI and physical therapy without even discussing what part of the knee was being treated, and went on his way.Now through past experience with my insurance I know it takes only a few days for the MRI authorization. After the first week I began calling every two days. And every two days I was told I would get a call back from the person in charge of requesting them. More times than not multiple calls had to be made in a day to get in touch with this woman. Always receiving the same response we sent the request in, we are just waiting for the approval. One month after being in the office the response had been changed to your insurance company tells me they havent received our request, and we are putting it through in a different way. After that call took place I found another doctor, who not only took the time to see and speak with me, but his office got my MRI approval in 2 days!As I sit here waiting for my MRI tomorrow, I am not letting up on Dr. Moros and his staff. I have faithfully called the office every 2 hours (because Jackie, Im told her name is, has not called back) in the hopes of hearing what new excuse they have cooked up for not having an approval yet from their office. Please people, do yourselves and your blood pressure a favor and dont even entertain the thought of making an appointment with this office.P.S. The 1 star is only because I had to, to be able to review.

Would never go to place like this but for the fact that this seem to be the only other place (beside the one with really bad mannered doctor) that insurance covers. Until we can get better insurance we are stuck. The doctors were ok with my girls, though it is very poorly managed! This cattle ranch of place, where there are seats enough to have 40 or more waiting, and it is usually full, also has doctors coming in way after their appointments start. Obviously it over schedules every doctor, and there are many, I think about 6 or 7 doctors. The receptionists are mostly ok, most days, but over-run and tired and curt at times. Waiting area is never empty and seem never cleaned, though Ive been there way late and there is a person who comes and clean. As it is always full with people, it just gets really dirty.Be warned that to see a doctor, patient must go down the steps to lower level. Not too great if you have leg issue, or is in pain otherwise.

Find another practice. This office is a complete joke. I normally would write a review but this is a small step i am taking in hopes to help out someone who is looking for a doctor to take care of them. This is not that place, your time will be wasted and you will not be informed about anything going on at all. The staff working in the office needs a serious re evaluation seeing as how they cannot properly manage a schedule, booking unnecessary appointments or causing schedule conflicts that make it hard for anyone to be in and out in a timely manner. The MRI machine is outdated and it takes an eternity to get results, the office in its entirety is not a clean area and it looks run down. The employees at the front desk, with the exception of patti and jocelyn, are full of attitude and an unwillingness to do anything else but sit there and well... sit there. God help anyone unfortunate enought to walk into this sewer of a medical practice. I would advise you to turn around and leave immediately.
