I’ve been waiting a total of 1hr and 30 minutes in the waiting area. I’ve asked twice already how much longer will I have to wait. Receptionist keeps telling me I’ll be next in line but they have called literally every one but me. This is ridiculous. I would get up and leave but they have already charged me $99. Won’t be coming back. This is Pitiful.

I had always had doubts about going here but got my first appointment and loved the place 😍 really quick assistance and a little wait but it’s a clinic what can you expect and better yet liked it cause they asked the necesary questions I had to answer by phone before entering so didn’t waste time when I entered. Great service!!

This place is a joke! A perfect example of how society could care less for low income people. The workers are extremely rude and unfriendly. Unhappy people that are there for the paycheck. They obviously need to be trained on how to work with others. So unprofessional, lazy, and extremely uneducated.

Staff is unprofessional! Long wait to get a hold of someone when calling.If your insurance covers elsewhere, then I recommend going elsewhere! If this is your only option, the actual doctors are great, but they tend to rotate and change a lot. Ive used this clinic for Pediatric and OBGYN services.

Came with my mom for an appointment sitting down outside on chair the lady MA literally asked me if i had an appointment i said no i came with my mom so she remove me from my chair and said “ only for patients who have appointments” rude!!! Could of asked nicely not just removing me from the chair

It’s obviously a community clinic so they are a little bit quicker with how they treat you because they have so many patients.. BUT, overall very professional! I would recommend and come back! Dr.Atieh, Samir R was very caring and super professional! The nurse who took my blood tests was amazing and quick and also professional.10/10 would recommend

I have come twice with my son with two appointments scheduled but wait is still 6-7 hours. Was told they take walk ins so I came by today and waited to be called up to window. receptionist was very nice. Informed her my son is sick I think maybe bronchitis or flu or pneumonia. She said his doctor was gone and the other doctors she would have to ask if they would see him. I waited patiently 46 minutes to be told they won’t see him but a nurse who can not diagnose nor give prescriptions can see him. I might have well asked a car salesman for something like that. My son is ill and was denied medical care. Security officer was ready to leave at 5 as we were still waiting patiently. They close at 6. Only giving 2 stars because the receptionist was kind

My mom’s been bringing me here since I was a month old, back in 1994. It’s a great clinic and very affordable if you have no insurance. The staff, nurses and doctors have changed over the years, but the service has always been great. I now live 30 minutes away and it’s still my clinic and where I’ve been taking my son since his 2 week checkup.

The ONLY thing I hate about this clinic is that it Takes them FOREVER to answer the phone when I ask for a call back I answer and they hang up the phone VERY UNPROFESSIONAL if I could divide the stars I would give 5 STARS to my kids doctor and ZERO to the receptionist answering phones. Please hire professionals, we depend on that to schedule our kiddos appointments.

DO NOT trust this clinic, they are a total rip-off. They charged me $150 to see the nurse practitioner, I had a sinus infection. She wasnt even thorough with the exam. She was more interested in how she could make money off of me than treating me for what I came in for. She wasnt rude but she definitely wasnt friendly or compassionate. She drew blood, which I was under the impression was covered under the $150, but received a bill in the mail for $286.00. I came to a low income clinic for a reason, why wouldnt you discuss any additional costs that I may incur BEFORE doing anything. The reason is because they know patients are likely to say, NO! I could have gone to urgent care or a minute clinic and saved myself money. I will never return to this clinic and would never recommend anyone else to go either.Update to my review: I received a call from someone in accounting regarding my over payment. The representative stated I should not have been charged anymore than the $150 I paid. She issued me a refund and I did receive a check by mail for the additional $286. I am now changing my rating from 1 star to 3.

There were two women at the pediatric desk that were EXTREMELY unfriendly. I was charged $150 for the Nurse practitioner just bc I need a referral to the psychiatrist. To see the psychiatrist was an additional $150. $300 in total just to get the help I need at a low cost clinic. Absolutely disappointed.Five stars to the lady who got my blood on the first stick. Extremely disappointed. I’ve been coming to this clinic since last year August 2017. I’ve been constantly having to schedule an appointment every month or 2 since then because every time I see a doctor all they ask me is “what symptoms do you have” and after I tell them everything they say “sounds normal, looks normal I’ll send your prescription to your nearest pharmacy” and I tell them I always get the same medicine every time and I keep having the same issues. Doctors at this place seem like they don’t know or they don’t care because a week later a nurse will call saying the test came out negative. That “everything is fine” I know my body and I know when something is wrong. I decided to give them another opportunity by scheduling my last appointment with them for the last time before looking for a new doctor somewhere else and the day I show up for my appointment at 8am (keep in mind I’m missing work to be here) my appointment is at 8:20am and as soon as I’m walking in the building door I get a call from a nurse saying the doctor can’t see me because she will only be taking care of pedriatics... I asked the nurse why didn’t I get a call a head of time so I wouldn’t waste my time and her response was “I guess nobody checked the doctors schedule” wow!! By the way my appointment prior this one I was not even seen by a doctor because of the same excuse!! So what i had paid for that last time they “credited” my money for this appointment.. that ALSO my doctor couldn’t see me AGAIN for the SECOND time with no call to let me know.. now i have to wait 45 days for my money back..... it’s a waste of time.. I will not be coming back here.

I had an appointment scheduled today, The front desk lady tried to charge me $150 because they apparently only accept chip and medicaid. I told her then why when I scheduled my appointment you asked for my insurance she’s like “oh you have cigna duh” I waited 30 minutes to be called once i was called i was asked proof of pregnancy I handed them my ER vist papers where it was confirmed i was pregnant with twins. The nurse then says we can’t accept you because we don’t handle twins you have to go see a high risk doctor and we can’t refund you what you payed at front desk!!!!!!! So if you’re having twins they won’t see you they’ll just take your money.

The poor cashiers/receptionists overworked or overwhelmed and take it out on customers or Id give them 5 stars. Once you get past them it isnt bad... Ive only had one nice one who knows what shes doing over the past 3 lr 4 years.The pharmacy and medical staff are all amazing.Every doctor has listened and tried to help. Some times (rarely) the wait is long most od the time youre in and out as quick as a regular doctor.This is a great clinic with or without insurance. The person who referred me still comes here even with insurance!

Ive been here since 8:30AM (they make you come an hour early to fill out 3 pages of paperwork) and I waited until 9:25AM for the first floor receptionist to send me to the second floor. At 10AM was called into a room. It is now 10:33AM Ive been waiting NAKED on a table for 30 minutes. (The next 30 minutes of checkup and talking to the doctor she was very sweet.) It is now 11:01AM and Im waiting to talk to a behaviorist (got called in at 11:45AM) its 11:54 and waiting to get lab work done. Its 12:05PM and I officially completed my first prenatal visit.

The doctor dismissed my problems and said I was normal without a follow up or referral out to someone else. I am in pain for WEEKS and will now have to pay to go to a different doctor who knows what they are doing! The nurses were polite except the last one I spoke with who seemed annoyed that I was calling her because I was still sick. I had to call back twice though just to get a return call. Im still sick and need help.*update* I was seen by another doctor today who quickly diagnosed me as having an infection!!! A simple infection and this clinic couldnt diagnose that?!?

My first visit was today after my previous OB/GYN turned me away from his services, even though Im almost due! Registration was fast and easy and as soon as I made it to the second floor, the MA was calling my name to go to the back. Everyone was really friendly and I think the wait time was very reasonable. My doctor was very friendly and caring. I was so glad to have a female doctor. The counselor was very concerned about me and offered some really great resources for me and my baby. I definitely will continue my care here and will also be transferring my WIC and all of my childrens services to this clinic. All in one building, so convenient!

Staff is okay but the phone number and whoever is in charge need to answer the phone more I am concerned about my baby and no one is answering make this change please

I went to Los Barrios for all my prenatal appointments, delivered my son, and returned for my postpartum check. Everything was baseline which is what this clinic is. The front desks, nurses, and physicians do not go above and beyond to educate women on any subjects pertaining to prenatal or postpartum care. Every time I was seen it was the basics. The doctor would return to the exam room to tell me, everything was good. Asked if I had any questions and that was it. They never asked about typical things or educated me on the process of pregnancy, I did all of my research myself. This is your typical medicaid clinic where the physicians see as many patients as they can, and the clinic gets by with just doing the littlest as possible.

I had a great experience. The nurses and aides were professional. I was in and out of there after an hour. I would most definitely go back again if need be.

The doctor that I had my daughters with was great. On the other hand the staff was horrible. I had An appointment for my daughters second flu shot and when I went they told me they couldn’t give it to her cause it wasn’t long enough and when I asked they would give the appointment for that day then and wasted my time they had no answer.

They claim that they have $10 Sport Physicals Walk-In both on their website and on a banner that they put up by their clinic. I dont understand how its a walk-in when I was told that I would have to wait for almost 2 hours for a simple 15 minute checkup? Should of told me before; waste of time driving here.

BAD EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Yes they call me quick , but all they check is weight , and pressure ... at the end all they ask you if you have any questions??? Of Course I do ! like hello??? Is my weight okay ? Is my baby okay ? When can I hear his heart? How do I know his growing okay? Im 19 weeks literally the nurse started to argue with me claiming Im 15 weeks ?!?! Like maam Im the pregnant person I think I know my weeks , she looks back at the paper work takes 20 minutes to come back and say my bad your right let me change that and get more blood ... Doctors here always telling you that symptoms are normal. I get BV every year, and last year they checked me and said I was fine. I knew I wasnt fine because I know what BV feels like since I get it every once in a while. I went to another doctor, sure enough they said I had BV. This year same thing, went to Barrios U and they didnt even want to check me, I had to fight with the doctor to check me, ofcourse they said I was fine. I ended up going to a different doctor and they treated me. Barrios Unidos gives a massive discount for patients, but it is not worth it since the doctors are incompetent.

My mom went for a check up bc shes pregnant and we were all excited. We asked for a sonogram weeks before bc of my mothers previous miscarriage and we were told that was okay. Im really disappointed after 17 year coming and been faithful to this clinic I just walked in today not even closing time and my kid was send out to childrens hospital even though his already a patient here and his doctors are here just because the front desk receptionist guy didnt wanted to do his job and wanted to go home earlie and apparently doctors wouldnt see him today but until tomorrow... That was his response ... My kid has 102 fever and I believe no doctor should refuse to see and infant just because its 5 pm and clinic hours closing time is at 6 pm.😥😥😥

The Doctors are no good I was very disappointed. this is my only clinic that is available near me so I always ask for a different doctor every time I go so far I had three different Doctors and I just come home feeling sorry for this people I have no idea how they made it in the medical field. just know that if you go home and are waiting for lab result, they will not call you because it happened to me twice.

I went by yesterday to ask about using Los Barrios Unidos for primary care; while they take private insurance, they do not accept plans purchased through the Marketplace! They do accept people on Medicaid and Medicare, and I think they serve anybody without insurance, on a sliding scale based on income. So, theyll see you unless you buy insurance through the Marketplace. Go figure.

This really is waste of time, I was made to visit this clinic twice today then told that since I do not qualify for discount and the first visit charge will be around $300. Ridiculous!! Make sure to check the federal poverty guidelines to make sure you qualify otherwise go to minute clinic if you do not have insurance.

Very good service from all the staff, very professional and they take a long time because they are many patients, in that time they can listen to an audiobook or something that helps them (they are not so negative.) I recommend it👍🏾. I dont know why there is so much negative comment.

Most of the doctors in the clinic treat patients without empathy, with contempt and as if we are all ignorant people. It is a shame that doctors prescribe medicine to see if it is the disease they assume, by trial and error! without even doing the corresponding study. Unfortunately the quality of Los Barrios staff is very poor lately.

The pharmacy service was extremely poor! They have people waiting forever. Employees supposedly know who gets there. How do they know when they’re all inside? They have no sense of who gets there first! I give them 1 star just because the manager came out.The pharmacy service was horrible! They have people waiting almost more than an hour. I just want to make a complaint about an employee who sells Herbalife there at the clinic. How sad that they offered me to buy that product while I was waiting there in the waiting room. Also look at the boxes that arrived at the clinic to distribute. The truth is I am very surprised that they lend themselves to these things there. Be promoting Herbalife. The person who offered me that product is called Angel, he told me that he has been working in maintenance for some time and sells his Herbalife product there. The truth is that I dont want to go back to this clinic for this reason. After a while they will no longer see patients they will sell pure Herbalife. Many people are going to lose if they continue to tolerate these things in the clinic. They should put a stop to this person who wants to have his business there instead of going to work. Thank you! Employee at this clinic is selling Herbalife and I believe this is very unprofessional. I was offered to buy that product and that is not right. I wanted to see a doctor not buy Herbalife. Very bad phone service because I have since 12:00 noon trying to get an urgent check since I am presenting a very strong discomfort and I am 22 weeks pregnant and it is already 4:23 pm and still nothing of the call that supposedly they were going to give me back so they can see the importance they give to one.

Poor service regarding pediatricians do not take good care of children they always say they are fine and it is not twice my son had an ear infection and the doctor said that the child is fine. I took him to another place the next day because he still had a temperature and it was from an ear infection.And the last time I took him because he had a temperature they said there is nothing he will take away after 3 days I came back because the temperature did not go away and he had a lot of congestion the pediatrician said it is only a small ear infection he gave him an antibiotic the next day I had They had to take him to the emergency room and they hospitalized him for a week. He had pneumonia.

They are bullshit, the exams were charged and they said in three days and I called two weeks later and they didnt answer and when they checked, they put me on hold and then they told me that to know the results I had to pay another appointment. So to my point of view and the experience I had there I think they are garbage scammers and they have a crap of service they are crap if I had a death illness I die and it is not known why they bury me and do not give the damn results nor do they say that medicine can use or anything is crap

Always if you arrive on time they will attend you late. If you arrive early, they will also attend you late and they tell you why you did not have an appointment until that time. Its bad how they work here ... even the nurses have said they make too many appointments at once.If you arrive on time to your appointment they see you late. If you arrive early they also see you late and they say its because you didnt have the appointment till such time. Their way of working here is completely wrong ... even the nurses have said that they put too many appointments at the same hour.

It is one of the clinics that I know with the most disorganization and they do not show up for an hour and they attend two hours later ... even when your arrival grandmothers like me wanted to be silly my appointment was at 10:20 and I arrived at 9:30 a.m. according to I had to fill out some papers they attended until 11:10 and that was because they attended only because they brought me to the office ... 11:30 and even waiting for the doctor to attend ..... 😡😡😡
