Update- Now they have filed with my insurance and there is an UNEXPECTED $400 balance of costs not covered by insurance that I have to pay a portion of before my son can get his cast off. They never explained during visits that they collect flat rates, and apply to old balances and NEVER said these were subject to change once insurance is filed, I figured it was already determined and thats how my payment was figured. Disappointing that the excuse was the girl was new and thats why it wasnt explained properly. That isnt my fault, I dont deal with or understand insurance for a living. Staff is happy/nice but I do not recommend going here unless you know EXACTLY how much you will have to pay out of pocket or just dont care about cost.The office went above and beyond to help me get an appt scheduled and help with my insurance. They are the nicest group of people. Osvaldo talked to my son and made him comfortable while casting him. Great experience and recommend.Follow up this week, different group of staff helping - STILL AMAZING! Everyone is happy and so pleasant to deal with.

Dr Berry may be a very good doctor, but I wont find out. During raging pandemic in Dallas, I canceled my appointment because I was greeted by a maskless lady at the front desk who said it was her personal preference not to wear a mask....in a doctors office?? Not for me.

Dr O’Brian and Pedro were both very attentive and helpful. Explained things well, spent lots of time with me, answered my numerous questions in detail. I would recommend this office and doctor. Very convenient location and easy parking.

Definitely recommend this place. I’m a stubborn runner and not the most compliant patient. I appreciate how Dr. O’Brien saw me as an individual and customized my treatment plan to my specific needs, taking into consideration my sense of urgency to get back to my normal routine. And they have Saturday hours!!!

The entire team is welcoming! Dr. O’Brien also takes his time with the patients and confirms information is understood upon leaving. The only thing I would like them to add is imaging in each patient’s room. Or at least have personnel display images in front of patients.

I really appreciate that Dr Barry takes the time to listen to my concerns and addresses them. Ive gone to other orthopedic doctors but this is the best orthopedic doctor I have ever gone to. Dr Berrys staff also takes their time and listened to all of my concerns and they really do care about their patients. I love that Dr Barrys office has Saturday hours. I dont know if any doctor that has Saturday hours. Theres also physical therapy right next door for convenience. Chris is my physical therapist and he has been wonderful he is very patient with helping me with my rehabilitation. I Definitely recommend Dr Berry and his entire staff. 🙂

Its a very professional atmosphere, when I arrived I was running late and they had no problem with me keeping my appointment. The doctor and assistant show they are very knowledgeable in their field of study. This was my third visit, but this was for a new medial issue with a new doctor. Over all I was very satisfied with my appointment with the physician and will be coming back for physical therapy.

Editing in information now. The place is tucked into a high traffic area, but that is fine. The atmosphere inside is quite good and the staff are very kind. My first point of contact was from the website, which wasnt the greatest to operate in its messaging system, but had to use it because calling and getting an answer was a challenge. After schedulung, I went in for a second opinion for compartment syndrome. The information given, staff I spoke with, and options given were great. A+ Id say.However, they wanted to play it safe, understandably so, and have me take a compartment pressure test at another clinic. The place referred to literally doesnt do it. After calling(impossible task mind you) I used the messaging system. I was given another location that I learned eventually doesnt do it either. Via the messaging I was then given a location that isnt in business anymore. After that I was essentially ghosted. Annoying, but it is what it is.I went to another orthopedic office, set up bloodwork, and after some preliminary follow ups I am having surgery today that will hopefully fix the problem. Once again the staff is good, but that experience really irked me.To the reply of the office: I would assume you couldnt look me up with only my first name in the review. Definitely not a fake one.

Dr. Berry is the best surgeon you can find. I have only had two surgeries my entire life. I trusted Dr. Berry to scope my left hip to clean it up with great success. 5 years later I enlisted Dr. Berry to review my right hip which he had to replace. This was done two days ago and now at home, I just thank God for him to have come into my life. If you ever have hesitated with a surgeon, do not with Dr. Berry as he is the best!

I’m post op 3 weeks MACI knee procedure and today the PA said I’m doing great! As usual they got me in and out in a flash. Always friendly and they will spend all the time you need to get all your questions answered. For anyone thinking of this procedure, it’s worth it, but be ready and willing to commit to a long recovery. I’m so glad I chose SPORT to have my procedure done.

Surgery didn’t really help my pain at all (as of writing this 1 month later). I’m worried I may have to have extra surgeries to fix my knee. His office takes a long time to schedule surgery after an MRI. It took them a week to have the doctor take a look at mine because I had to schedule an extra appointment after waiting to get an MRI, which was also another few days ). I also had to wait 2+ hours on the day of surgery (plus paperwork). On the plus side, his surgery did help somewhat. His physical therapists are very knowledgeable and helpful.

Pleased with the level of care I received. Chris has been very good working with me to help work through the exercises and minimize the pain level.

I hurt my knee on a Friday night, and knew this facility was open Saturday because my husband is also a patient here. When I looked up the number on the website, I saw they accepted walk ins, so I went around noon. They fit me right into the busy schedule and saw me the second i finished check-in. Dr. Berry is very sweet, kind, and caring. I did not feel like he was in a rush and took the time to talk and listen. The rest of the staff was super sweet and gentle as well. I love this place!

Dr. Osvaldo actually listens to what you have to say and makes you feel like a human being. Highly recommend this doctor.

I fractured my knee 11weeks ago. I was extremely pleased with the care I received from the entire staff. They listened to my questions, were very responsive, and professional. I felt like I was in very capable and caring hands. Thanks to them I am now walking, exercising, and getting stronger every day.

Dr. Berry is the man, one of the best orthopedic doctors/surgeons Ive met, very personable and highly skilled at his craft. The Dallas location just added physical therapy as well so its convenient to be able to go to the same facility for all my sports injury needs.

I felt like Dr Berry and his PA Pedro didnt really care about my feelings at all. I felt very rushed, Dr Berry left the room before I could even open my mouth and ask him questions and so I had to wait for him to come back in the room. They didnt even look at my foot which is the reason I was there. I will not be going back because I dont feel like they care and I feel like I wasted my money and time.

Staff was very helpful and friendly when I arrived. I did not stay longer before I was called for an X-ray. I hope I used Dr Robert Berry when I was in pain in the first place, he’s the best. Thank you for your good work and service. Stay safe.

As I am new to this Dr. I was happy they were able to get me in to see the Dr.Berry in a timely manner. When I arrived they greeted me and had me fill out the forms as normal. It took a while for them to call me back to see the Dr. and then waited still some more. On my second trip the same wait took place. I am happy with the Dr but I wish they would respect my time and adjust their process to do so. I will continue to come back as I like the DR.

First time to visit. Didn’t see Dr. Berry but his PA Ryan was great. The other people there were so cool and friendly. So glad I found them. On 09/20/2019 I had a great experience meeting Dr. Berry. The office is clean, and quaint. He was very thorough, and explained all the details of my injury and I am grateful for having had the consultation with him.Side Note: The older woman on check in was a little rude, I came in and I greeted her before she greeted me, she seemed annoyed when I told her that I wouldnt be using insurance. In an almost matter of fact way she told me how much the visit was going to be, although I already knew and was prepared to pay the price. When I handed her my card at check in to pay she seemed annoyed again. Then told me I had to fill out paperwork, I said to her (in these words) Oh! I did fill some documents out online did that come through her response was Yeah no we need way more than that so youll want to sit down. She never called me by my name, or even Ms. Bennett instead, when she wanted my attention she just yelled Bennett across the office. My initial interaction just made me feel truly unappreciated. I was scared the dr would be the same way!The Younger woman however was the exact opposite, very polite and welcoming. Maybe the other one was having a bad day, regardless I felt she was rude to me but the doc was so good it didnt impact how I feel about going again.

I had an Arthroscopic Knee Surgery and everything went well including Diagnosis, Surgery and post-Op Followup visits. I found Dr. Berry to be knowledgeable, courteous and friendly.

Went in as a walk-in patient as I had severe wrist pain. There was a bit of a wait but I was seen by Dr. Berry, diagnosed and given the proper treatment. They also have physical therapy on site if needed which is very convenient. The staff was extremely nice and knowledgeable. It was a very good experience and I would definitely recommend Dr. Berry and his office .

Sport Orthopedics has provided quick medical attention for joint injuries comparable to the Doc-in-the-Box medical facilities that have been offered for years to save time and money. Dr. Berry and his staff are fantastic! They can assess most common injuries on site and often provide immediate treatment. Im 64 and developed some severe bursitis in my hip during a business trip. I returned late on Friday and saw that this office was opened on Saturday. I called the next morning and got an appointment that day! I limped in with severe pain in my right leg and hip, and walked out pain free after Xrays and an injection to calm the bursitis! Amazing! Dr. Berry has great communication skills and made me feel comfortable with his evaluation...but the shot DID hurt a bit!! LOL! Rarely can you get in to see these types of specialists within a month, let alone SAME DAY! Got joint pains or injuries? This is your first stop!

Dr. Berry performed surgery on my shoulder in June 2019 to resolve a number of issues including a Type 2 SLAP tear, arthritis, a nasty bone spur and a few other things. I was hesitant about surgery but he was wonderful explaining everything and reassuring me why it was needed. He was thoughtful, realistic, conservative and thorough. His staff is polite, professional and caring. When my insurance co. argued that the surgery wasnt needed (which was absurd), Dr. Berry and his staff took all the required steps to get them to reverse their decision quickly. I didnt have to deal with any of it. As for my surgery results, I was happily surprised at how smoothly it all went.I followed their instructions strictly and used the CPM machine at home post surgery until my PT said to stop. (The CPM was very helpful to reduce scar tissue.) PT has been very productive, too, and I am progressing within the projected timeline. My physical therapist, Dr. Herring, (adjoining office to Dr. Berry), has been awesome. She is supportive, caring, professional, and even through the necessary pain she can make me laugh. I am happy to recommend Dr. Berry, his office staff, Dr. Herring and her office staff. This experience has been much better than I expected.

I would highly recommend SPORT. Our experience was absolutely wonderful! Everyone was so kind and helpful with my son. They made him feel comfortable and loved.

My rotator cuff was strained during ny trainjng. I Spent $250 was made to wait for an hour from one room to another. the doctor came in to one look at one of my shoulder and attempted to leave telling me i was not a big problem. When i asked him check the other one. He reluctantly did so and rushed out of the room so fast, slamming the door. The technician, who ive seen the most in my session, was nice enough to help and show me out. The attitude was below average and i do not recommend anyone this clinic if you want a decent diagnosis.

From all the pre surgery meetings I felt secure with his capabilities and couldnt have been more pleased with the outcome.The physical therapists at preston office are the best. They dont give up on you and are sympathetic to the challenges you face right after surgery. They are really encouraging and Im so happy I did it with a team like that. I have only been there once so far however the PA-C Ryan Hawkins is very friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and respectable. He got me in and out of the office very smoothly and referred me to get the testing that I need with no hiccups. They were very quick in obtaining the precertification required by my insurance company for the MRI that I needed. I have not had my follow up appointment with Dr. Berry yet but my experience has been great so far. This is also one of the only ortho practices that are open on Saturdays which works perfect for me since I live in Mansfield and it is about an hour drive for me to get there.Update: If I can avoid it, I will not obtain services from another orthopedic doctor. Dr. Berry is fantastic. He looks at things as a whole and doesnt have tunnel vision for just the problem presented. He tries to dig up the root cause and be proactive. Highly recommend utilizing his services.

Dr Berry has been outstanding. Couldnt have asked for a better surgeon. Repaired my stage 3 Rotator Cuff injury in May 19, simultaneously cleaned up an atrophied bicep end also related to shoulder injury, and the first of 2 Carpal Tunnel releases in Sept. and 2nd one scheduled for early Dec. 19. My neurosurgeon gave him hi kudos, saying he really liked Dr. Berry. Cant get much better than that. Also want to give a shoutout to Laura Henderson. She is/was my physical therapist. She made sure that my frustration with the rate of recovery never hindered my progress. Shes a true angel, albeit a tough one. Thanks yall! Would definitely recommend them for any ortho surgery a person could ever need.
