Everyone there is so nice! I forgot that I was at the dentist! I was very comfortable and I am so glad I found a great dentist! I highly recommend this dental office!

I was apprehensive looking for a new dentist but I have found a place that is great. The people are very friendly and very professional.The assistants so nice and cheerful.The location is perfect, the office very clean and sanitary.

The front-desk billing/insurance person changed quite often. One person I met are very capable and professional. But the other I met is very incapable and unprofessional, while seeming to be very nice, speaks softly, just has no patience or may not be trained enough to be capable of explaining the treatment options and corresponding costs. She just told me this is your treatment and this is your cost. When I asked her if there are other options, she has no patience but pushed me to the treatment room as the doctors schedule is busy and was waiting. I have no idea of what are the treatment options and costs.I guess it all depends which billing/insurance person you end up with. you may be lucky, you may be not.All persons in this office do seem to be very nice and speaks softly. But first thing first, be capable of doing things. Nice but not capable is meaningless.

I was very disappointed by this business. When I first when there I got the impression that this was an independently owned dental practice, but after further investigation it is most definitely a corporate entity concerned with making money. Like other reviews said, on my first visit I was told that my dental hygiene was lacking that I needed a deep cleaning and several other costly treatments that were not covered by insurance. The first indicator that this place was a scam was that it was the dental hygienist who was making recommendations about procedures and treatments I needed, not the actual dentist.I brush and floss everyday and have never received the recommendations made by this practice. I held off on doing any of the costly procedures to see if I could improve for the next visit, but when I came back I got the same story. They made me feel like my teeth were going to fall out of my head.I decided to get a second opinion from another dentist without telling him any of the issues PHDC told me. His review of my teeth was they were in fantastic condition, no cavities, no bleeding, no gum recession, absolutely no need for a Deep Cleaning whatsoever. When I told him about my experience here, he confirmed it was definitely a scam and that people my age with teeth in my condition have no need for a deep cleaning and that recommending this procedure is used as a money making tool by corporate dentists.To be fair, the front office staff was pleasant and, except for the lies the hygienist told me, she was also very nice. The Dentist (cant remember her name) just came in quickly, glanced at my teeth, and didnt spend much time going over my treatment, just agreed with what the hygienist said and left.Avoid this place if you can and if pricey treatments are suggested, get a second opinion.

The team of ladies at this location are awesome! They made my root canal experience so much nicer than I had anticipated. My pain afterwords, luckily, wasnt too much at all to deal with and the next day, I didnt have hardly any. They made me feel comfortable and I loved the play-by-play that Dr. Tavares gave me during the procedure! Thank you all for your awesomeness!!!🌹

Dr. Cha is a not only competent, but also gentle to my mouth. She and ALL of the STAFF are welcoming efficient and friendly. I have found a 👍 dentist !

The staff are so friendly and accommodating here! My procedure was painless and they were so helpful with the after care! The dentist may not be your favorite way to spend some of your day but you are well cared for and leave with a better and healthy smile!

Very happy with the services I have received here. Hygienist and dentists have been very good and accomodating, and carry on a conversation to keep you less anxious with a good sense of humor. Very careful to mask, gloved and sanitized facility..good policies in place about that before and after I was vaccinated.against Covid 19.

Ive been to Preston Hollow Dental Care multiple times over the last couple years. Typically the experience has been great and the cleanings have been quick. Unfortunately, with my most recent visit this was not the case. After the cleaning I was informed that I owed about $450 that I had to pay out of pocket that my insurance wouldnt cover. Left with no other choice, I paid it and called my insurance after. Turns out Preston Hollow had never sent what was done over to my insurance and forced me to pay everything out of pocket! Cut to two months later after going back and forth between my insurance and Preston Hollow multiple times and I get a trivial $80 refund back. Did I mention that Preston Hollow went back and changed the prices that they had charged me after the fact to charge for more? Or that I still have not received a accurate invoice or receipt for the final billing? Dont take your chances here, go to one of the other dozen dentists in the area that know how to bill properly.

Dr Cha and gabby were very patient with me and made me feel at ease. I am 52 years old and dr Cha is definitely the best dentist I have ever been to and I have been to a few different dentists in my life. She really cares about people and the work that she is doing. She listens well and she works at a good pace without rushing or compromising care

I hate going to the dentist, but the staff at Preston Hollow Dental are incredible. Every member of the staff from the front desk, the hygienist, Dr. Cha, and even paying your bill, everyone makes you feel welcomed, safe, and cared for. They give great effort to making sure you are comfortable and informed of the work needed. I have brought three of my children to see Dr. Cha, my youngest being five, and we have all had great experiences. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

I took my 6 year old son in for a cleaning. Shelly was very gentle with him and extremely patient throughout the entire visit. She did a great job with the X-rays. The dentist, Dr Cha, was very sweet and took the time to answer all of his questions. Staff like this is why my whole family and I come back to this practice. I would highly recommend Dr Cha to my family and friends.

Friendly staff, treatment, future appt. dates & cost were explained to me in detail. First phase of treatment was under 30 minutes & it was relatively painless.

👎👎 I am a former patient and had an extremely unpleasant experience. I made an appointment to get a routine teeth cleaning 3 months in advance, because I have an extremely busy work schedule. I went in for my appointment, they were late as usual, they did a quick exam, I waited for about 30 minutes for the dentist to come in and see me, and by that time over an hour had passed and I had not had my scheduled cleaning. They told me I would have to come back and make ANOTHER appointment for my cleaning, but would still have to pay $100 for the visit that day anyway. I asked if they could squeeze me in because I had already taken off work and could not take off work again for a service I had already scheduled months in advance. They said no, they had another patient to get to. I asked why I was not informed ahead of time that in order to get a teeth cleaning I would have to make TWO separate appointments. They did not have an answer for me.I called the office later that day to discuss this unpleasant experience and ask for a refund of my office visit, as I could not come back for another appointment. They said no and the ladies that work up front were extremely disrespectful. At one point I heard the ladies laughing in the background and the employee I was talking to hung up on me.I had enjoyed this dentist before this experience, but will not be going back. I would not recommend this dentist to anyone, and agree with the other review regarding their tendency of uncharging patient and convincing them they need unnecessary costly services.

Dr. Cha and the practitioners are extremely helpful and took the time to explain every aspect of my dental status, care, and goals for my teeth. dr.cha also was always upfront about what she thought was doable and what alternatives were. And when it came to talking about cost, they didnt shy away from numbers or expectations especially abbot discussing my insurance! I strongly recommend this office because they were professional and welcoming to me as a new patient. Loved it here.and to anyone worried about the pandemic, every patient is separated by a cubby, almost all my xrays were done in one room

The hygienists were so friendly, and Dr. Gabby is so knowledgeable. She gave me so much information I didn’t know about my own mouth. It was great deep cleaning.

Extremely disappointed. I went in for an initial exam which included extensive x-rays. I received a very long list of treatments though I wasnt experiencing any difficulties. When I inquired about a few of the procedures, the dentist refused to call me back. I was trying to determine if everything really was required or if some were fabricated. I was not implying I was an expert, but I try to be an informed patient and needed more information. I asked several times for the dentist to speak with me on the phone and she would not speak with me. I also had insurance inquiries. Though they listed what my insurance would pay, insurance companies usually have contracted rates as well. The dentists office manager would not offer any clarification about those inquiries either.I have transferred my information and x-rays to another dentist.

First time there. There were very helpful and accommodating. The dentist didnt seem in a hurry and answered all of my questions.

I have read it multiple times for this practice, consumers take caution this practice is about “up selling”. This is a shame. My husband and I went in on separate occasions and they told us both we needed “deep cleans” SIMPLY bc it had been eight months since our last cleaning. I needed a “deep gingivitis clean” SIMPLY bc I had a baby recently. Also I needed to replace all of fillings as a precautionary and until then I could not get a cleaning until I had done so. All of the procedures costing $700 to $1200/treatment. My grandma is a retired dental hygienist and she was appalled by this assessment. Let me tell you as a women I felt like I had walked in to a mechanic shop. Sleazy practice. I went to another dental clinic today where the dentist said I had great dental hygiene did my cleaning.

We recently moved to the area. I was looking for a new local dentistry office and chose this one. I sadly didnt look at the reviews before I went. In my entire 40 years of existence I have never been to a dental visit in which they didnt clean the teeth. No flossing, no fluoride, no bag of hygiene products. It was freezing in the office and the country music was annoyingly loud.The dentist was professional, but the hygienist came in and quickly rattled off some numbers. Soon afterwards, someone from the office came in with a clipboard and told me that I need to schedule another visit for a deep cleaning that would cost me $700 out of pocket. I have never heard the term deep cleaning and it was explained to me that it involved a laser treatment and some antibiotics for an infection that I dont have. After the office person gave me the details of some expensive unnecessary treatment plan that would have cost me $700 followed by another 4 week followup at an additional $300...I asked when the hygienist was going to clean my teeth for my covered dental visit - I was told we dont really do that. If you want to wait an hour we may be able to squeeze you in, but it would be $700 for the deep clean.This is completely unnecessary and totally some sleazy upsell practice. I have dental insurance and have been going to the dentist routinely every year for the past decade. I have never experienced something like this. As the other reviews detail, it gives off the impression/vibes of a used car sales dealership.I left the visit - with some dental X-rays having been taken, and a really bad taste that THIS PRACTICE left in my mouth. I guess if I need a deep cleaning it is must be to get the bad taste that Preston Hollow Dental Care left in my mouth....Do yourself a service and avoid this practice - unless you want to waste multiple visits to get your teeth cleaned and be asked to pay hundreds of dollars for treatments that are absolutely unnecessary.

Such lovely caring people, my visit was wonderful and I usually am not a big fan of going to the dentist. The staff takes good care of you, while treating you with respect and taking care of your dental needs. Highly recommend!

Our family has been going to this practice since we moved into the area. Collectively as a family we have had quite a few corrective and preventative treatments done and cannot sing their praises highly enough. Dr. Cha, Lesley, Shelley and the front desk staff have all been professional, gentle, kind and accommodating.

Lesley is the absolute best hygienist I have ever had. She is efficient, gentle and super sweet. 10 stars for her. Dr. Gabby is also awesome.

I happened to be dog sitting for a newly adopted dog and the team couldn’t have been nicer about hosting him. Especially the dentist, Cristina, who took the time to take the dog for a walk. My Dentist is the best dentist, by far. She is hands down the most amazing dentist in the game. All of her employees are amazing. My first visit was a great experience .I was able to set a same day appointment due to a previous cancellation. Everyone in the office was nice and professional. I felt like I had been a long-time client while I was there. Great job ladies!

I have never had any issues with scheduling at Preston Hollow Dental Care. I’ve always had a wonderful experience and the staff personnel are so sweet. I had some teeth pulled and cleanings, even with last minute scheduling they’ve managed to make room for me and take care of my needs. I’m an active duty military member as well and the set up process from moving my dental to local with them was very simple and they took care of it all. I’m glad I chose them to care for my dentistry.

Very friendly and efficient team. Unfortunately, Im really disappointed that the resident dentists and hygienists rotate through this office too often. So the result is a new group of folks just looking at your charts and making recommendations that sometimes conflict with what other staff have said. Maybe Im too old school. For years, I had the same dentist who could give me good advice about proper next steps to care for my teeth and I knew when any extreme procedure was needed, I could feel like I was in good hands.

Very polite, clear communication in what they are doing and what your dental needs are. The only issue I have is it’s bit cool temperature for me. If you ask ask they have blankets or bring your own.

My recent visit was a very pleasant one, from start to finish. On time,, Shelly, my dental hygienist, was the complete professional.Going to have my teeth cleaned and checked, is not my favorite pastime. These folks make it a very comfortable experience.

Dentist: A+The dentist was very personable, efficient and worked quickly which helped reduce my stress during the procedure.Initial procedure room quality: AI was initially in a very nice, clean, well-lit patient room and had a very positive conversation and interaction with the dentist.Procedure room change: FOn the other side (or room for improvement), after my conversation with the dentist, I was suddenly moved to a cold, dark and much older room. The reasons I was given for the room change were not sufficient. As the patient and for the amount of money I paid for a procedure on only one tooth, I deserved much better.Procedure room change quality: FIf you are going to continue to use that particular room for all patients (not just ones like me), it needs a MAJOR UPGRADE, including instruments.***These are sincere concerns because dental health affects the overall quality of a person’s health.***

Listen to the negative reviews. This office will waste your time with their inability to properly schedule patients. I scheduled a 9:00 am appointment for a cleaning and at 10:45 I’m now just leaving after being told that my appointment was just for X-rays and they don’t have an available hygienist until the end of July - almost 2 months away. They should not be accepting new patients if they are unable to schedule them within a reasonable amount of time.

Dr. Vakil is the most amazing dentist that I have ever seen. She takes her work personally, gives full support to her patients, and has a wonderful and caring personality on top on skill and enthusiasm for what she does. I highly recommend her - especially if you have any anxiety. You will love her. 5 stars for the doc, 4 stars for the front office.

New office visit for me and I was late!! The front desk girl was understanding and did allow me to come in at a later time which worked out perfect. Both the hygienist and Dr. Vakil were great at explaining what they were doing as well as reassuring that any treatment needed was necessary and my choice to proceed with.Great office.

Went for my first visit with my new dentist Dr. Gabrielle- she was not only extremely professional and kind, but very intelligent and spoke intuitively about her subject matter (my teeth 🦷 & gums) giving me the confidence I needed to confirm that I was in good hands! I’ll be back in a couple of weeks for a fill, and I’m excited to journey with her on the road of healthier teeth to optimize my overall health. Solid selection, 2 thumbs up 👍🏽👍🏽PS- I was also impressed w/how her office handled things given the COVID Pandemic. They make you wear a mask, take your temp before going back, and rinse with oral debriding agent! Everyone was super cautious- I witnessed staff disinfecting surfaces with Cavicide (which I use in my professional Esthetic procedures) throughout the duration of my visit. They are charging $10 for the required PPE fee - but again, you’re in good hands so it’s kinda worth it.

Preston Hollow Dental Care really took care of me like family .I needed an emergency extraction(s) to fix three teeth and the Dentist was an absolute professional during the entire procedure .very polite and knowledgeable , very kind and understanding of a grown man shaking from anticipation of the getting stuck by needles in the gums .I’d go back in a heartbeat for any procedure !My whole life I’ve been wary of dentistry and I’ve had severe grinding / cavity problems as an adult that I wouldn’t go to the dentist for years until it finally was killing me , Preston hollow dental saved me .

Dr. Williams is the most honest dentist ever. When you can trust your dentist, then you arent afraid of going anymore. When I started seeing him, I had to practically be sedated to sit in the chair, now Im so comfortable I practically fall asleep. When I realized that the man is going to retire before I am done needing to see a dentist, I felt some kind of way about that.

They have a huge turn around when it comes to the dentist! I have been going there for about 2 years and they are on their 4 dentist! The original office ladies and dental hygienist were great. Although, when I ordered a night guard I never received a call that it was ready to get picked up till a month later. It turns out that they no longer had the same office lady or dental hygienist. So when I came in there were 5 ladies I saw at the office as I sat there for 15 minutes, no body acknowledged me or said Hi. Some of them were grouped together talking. Then when I was finally called up, the girl started my appointment with telling me I have a balance of $58 or so. I was surprised considering I had no notice and that all I had done was a cleaning a month or two prior. I asked her to break down what caused the balance. The young lady didnt know how to answer that so she called a lady in the other office who was gossiping in the open office beside us. She went down a list, $3 here $5 there, small amounts that was apparently not covered with my insurance. It baffled me, leaving me wondering what kind of extra things they billed my insurance because my regular cleanings are supposed to be completely covered. I then mentioned that fact that picking up my night guard was supposed to be a 10 minute appointment so I didnt bring anything with me to pay, as far as my knowledge I paid for my night guard upfront and I had no balance, She explained to me that I needed to pay that balance before they could give me my night guard. It sounded to me like she wanted to keep it hostage until I paid the balance. I considered not getting the night guard, but she said that since it was already made, she had to charge me anyway even though they havent given it to me. I am so unhappy with this office. To be honest this is not the only issue Ive ever had with this office. My husband wont even go back because of his bad experience with the dentist and mine as well where the dentist kept drilling my teeth for pain from a filling 4 different times, drilling also my natural teeth that never had fills.

Such a great place! I was referred here to get two fillings done and when I arrived to start the procedure Dr. Willims quickly let me know that he did not feel there were cavities worth filling. He was honest, courteous, and so very sweet. He will now be my new dentist, I trust his opinion!

I wasnt too sure about coming into this office. Its the closest dental office to my home found them through my Insurance company but after my first appointment with them I will definitely be coming back!! Very attentive and explained every step as well as set up follow up appointments to complete my dental work.

Friendly staff. They were constantly concerned about the level of my comfort. The only reason they don’t get 5 stars from me is that they were running 30 minutes late. They didn’t even apologize or offer an excuse even though I asked. Terrible music on the speakers made waiting around pretty miserable.

Love this place! They put in 2 crowns and the process was quick and easy. The dentist made sure I was comfortable through the whole procedure and afterwards as well. These dentists really care about their patients.

I’ve been going to this Dental office for years, and I have recommended several friends, co-workers, and acquaintances. I travel very far just for the dental hygienist, but my initial trip all the way up there was awful. They rescheduled me with a hygienist whom I’ve never met, and they failed to call me to explain that I would be seeing a different hygienist. I was not pleased with the new front office staff at the time for making this mistake, b/c this is my time, gas and money to come to this office. I literally had a panic attack and I felt horrible to the hygienist with whom I’ve never seen or met. Needless to say they did place in my file that I was ONLY to see the specific dental hygienist... but I still felt uneasy that this mistake could happen to someone else... and they just didn’t care...

Honestly i was turned off from the moment I walked in the door. The front desk person told us to wait while she continued an almost 10 minute, and often personal, conversation with a patient. Then that was followed by an argument over premeds, which I had already asked about prior. Basically I was forced to premed, even though the ADA no longer recommends it. Then it turns out I needed a deep cleaning. I decided I would rather spend my money elsewhere.

I called and a rude lady answered. I was trying to schedule an appointment and naturally I asked questions. The lady was very unprofessional and I cannot understand why an office would put such a person there in the first place. I did a little search about some of their doctors and found really bad reviews. It seems nowadays everyone can create fake rating and reviews to lure customers to their business.

Had a broken tooth and was able to get in right away on a Friday. Most dentists are not open on a Friday. Discussed the plan to fix it and was impressed with the care and compassion.

I have never had a bad experience at Preston Hollow Dental. Shelly is always very friendly and cleans my teeth with precision! You just cant beat that Ahhhh feeling you get when your teeth are this clean!!

Staff was friendly and informative. I came in for a routine cleaning and that went well. I will definitely return.

I was scheduled to have two appointments back to back, a cleaning at 8am and cavities filled at 9am. When I got to the office I was told they did not have my 9am appointment scheduled but would be able to fit me in anyway. Meanwhile, I called earlier in the week to confirm I didnt need to send documents over to Preston Hollow from my previous office and specifically told them I was getting 2 cavities filled and no one mentioned that the appointment didnt exist. When I made the appointments I was given a print out that clearly stated I had 2 appointments yet no one seemed to have any idea what I was talking about. I was moved to the back and given the topical numbing only to find out that the appointment was scheduled when my dentist was out of the office and the dentist in the office was not going to fill the cavities. Time wasted, I rearranged my work schedule for this day and now I have to go in on another day. Additionally, during my cleaning a laser was used, and I was not aware that the laser would cost me $100. The hygienist never mention that there was a fee attached to the laser, she just went ahead and did it. They also tried to charge me an additional $40 for fluoride that I did not receive. This is my second time at Preston Hollow, the first I waited so long that I had to reschedule an appointment following my appointment at Preston Hollow. I have had two horrible experiences, no one seems to know what they are doing. Once my cavities are filled, I will be looking for another dentist. The women at the front desk were very nonchalant as if this was my fault.

Everyone at Preston Hollow Dental is so kind and welcoming. I have horrible anxiety at the dentist, but Dr. Vikal was amazing and so patient with me. She took the time to explain everything and always reassessed how I was doing to make sure I was comfortable throughout my appointment.

Friendly staff, who are organized and work efficiently with each other! as a new patient I filled out the necessary paperwork, got a cleaning, an oral evaluation, and X-rays in less than 40 minutes. After that it was 5 minutes paying and then done! This was 8:30 am on a Wednesday.

My experience their was very nice from beginning to end the staff their are very nice,the receptionist Jessica was very welcoming always smiling and never left me with a doubting mind I highly recommend this place

Worst experience ever . I would not recommend it. After I had my second opinion , I found out that they tried to over charge me for deep cleaning and crown. The worst part is that they charged me $100 for deductible (which was not necessary under my insurance plan) and got a really bad filling . Thank God I went for a second opinion . Save your time and money and stay away from them because they are going to rip you off.

I had my teeth cleaned today. Shelley is a great hygienist and dr Williams is the best dentist we have ever had. Since Michelle is gone, we will gratefully continue to come there.
