Outstanding Dental Practice!! Beacon Hill Dental is top notch. Our entire family goes to them. The customer service is superior from the time you walk in. Everyone who works there makes you feel at home. The entire staff are knowledgeable and dedicated to delivering a high quality of service. Both Dr. Paul Miller and Dr. Rita Patel-Miller are consummate professionals. They take the time to go over all aspects of your dental health with you and explain their recommendations. They take a very practical approach and do not attempt to sell you on any unnecessary procedures. Beacon Hill also uses the latest and greatest technology. I was able to have a crown done in a single setting since they had the equipment to make the permanent crown at their practice. I highly recommend Beacon Hill Dental! Beacon Hill Dental is absolutely amazing! The staff is so comforting. From the time you walk in to the time you walk out. Everybody is so incredibly friendly and hospitable. When you’re in the dental chair Dr Patel and Dr Miller make you feel so relaxed and talk to you throughout your whole experience. Wish all dentists were like this! My only regret is not coming here sooner! I’ve had most of my dental work done by Dr Miller, and the level of professionalism is very high. I originally came for an abscessed tooth that had sent me to the emergency room the weekend prior. Dr Miller and the entire staff was phenomenal! I had a jacked up grill due to numerous health issues medications, along with genetics and knew I needed major help. Dr Miller went above and beyond. I cried the day I finally went in and had 11 teeth pulled in one sitting, last Friday to be exact. They were all bad I knew it, what I didnt know was that I could afford to get my grill fixed!! My smile is full again and genuine. Thank you so much Dr Miller and staff! You are the best,hands down dentist out there. Ive seen plenty in my time. This is THE BEST dentist in NWI. EXCEPTIONAL staff, super friendly, we have never had any problems at Beacon Hill! My daughter has been going here since she’s been 4 years old and has had more dental work than the average adult, and dr Miller, dr Patel and staff has always been very gentle and understanding to my concerns. Even in an emergency, they have always been there to help. I couldn’t ask for more from a dentist, they treat us like family!

Dr. Miller extracted two wisdom teeth for me today and he and his staff did an amazing job! I have really high anxiety when it come to going to the dentist and the Dr. and the staff were really amazing about working with me on it. FYI- I became a client when my past dentist ignored my emergency call over a holiday weekend after I broke a tooth. My sister recommended Beacon Hill to me --Best decision EVER. I have had nothing but great experiences at this office. The staff and Drs are very attentive and professional. My first appointment, I had a very thorough exam, x-rays and photos of my teeth. Dr. Patel then sat down with me for about an hour to explain the conditions that are going on in my mouth and develop a plan to get me healthy again. Every appointment since then I have be shown the same attentiveness and professionalism. Everyone goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Highly recommend.

Staff working there is great, however it does not make up for how rude and shallow the two dentists are. They must still think they are in high school with the manner they address their patients. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Here is the story behind our 1 star review.We are a family of four, 2 kids 17 and 13 and 2 adults. We lost our Dentist a year ago due to retirement and we didnt like the young new Dentist (to his defense we didnt even gave him a try) that took over the practice so just like everyone else that lives in the area we researched a lot of other places and we saw the awesome reviews for Beacon Hill Dental and we decided to give them a try. First appointment September 2018; I showed up (Adult that smoked occasionally and drank and ate everything possible that can stain my teeth) havent been to the Dentist for a cleaning in two years, the hygienist was great she cleaned my teeth spotless. My kids first appointment; they both had an x-ray and and had their teeth cleaned and out on time. Second appointment for my kids; they were taken in and it took a long time and they kept insisting that our kids had cavities (kids didnt have any signs of cavities) (FIRST SIGN). My second appointment a year later; I was 10 minutes late (I could have been told on the phone when I was on my way there to reschedule) was taken in and the hygienist advised me that she would not be able to clean my teeth and that I should come more often ($$$) and be early for my appointment (She left me with half stained teeth HALF A55 WORK) (SECOND SIGN). My kids third appointment: We showed up 15 minutes early 5:45PM and I asked if we can finish within 45 minutes as this was a check up and routine 6 month cleaning and because my daughter needed to be at the square at 7PM, I was advised that they should be able to. Oh I forgot to mention that my son has full braces on and he brushes like 4-5 a day so I asked them if he really needed to come there and they said yes ($$$). So Im not sure if my kids got an X-Ray the second time but this third time the hygienists asked me if they can take X-Rays on both kids so I said yes for my daughter (she has no issues of any kind) and I said my son doesnt need it because he has full braces and he just had X-Ray a month ago, they said OK. My daughter came out at 6:45PM Great! Billing person checked my wifes insurance and found out that they cover a whole lot more then mine so she took me in a room and said that my daughter had a lot of cavities and that all I had to pay was $50 bucks copay ($$$), so I said OK and asked about if I can leave and take my daughter to the square and come back and she said that my son will be done in 2 minutes 6:55PM. 7:02 hygienist come to me and said that she needed to take X-Rays of my son because his treatment has changed (flat out lie $$$) 7:13PM my son comes out and the hygienist says she needed to talk to me so we can schedule more work (THIRD SIGN) and I had it. I advised them that I have been getting these vibes that I dont want to be treated here anymore and said that I will be looking for another Dentist. What I got was just an OK, no Im sorry, or is there anything we can due for you to change your mind NOTHING! So I just want to warn everyone to look at the signs. Frequent X-Ray (You should get dental X-rays either every six months or every three years, depending on the state of your dental health and how much dental work you have had done.), Not completing work, taking to long and always looking to milk your insurance. There is no customer service whatsoever.

Dr. Miller, Dr. Patel, & their entire staff are AMAZING!Prior to visiting Beacon Hill Dental of Crown Point, I feared going to the dentist. My dental phobia has since vanished. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. Seriously, I have never seen a group of people that love their job so much! Dr. Miller & Dr. Patel are a dynamic duo! They are thorough, understanding, and phenomenal dentists. Treatment plans are cautiously structured around their patients needs and desires; always keeping cost and overall concern for their patients in mind. They are the Chip & Joanna of the dental world!

This place is great! The staff at Beacon Hill Dental are wonderful! My daughter went in for a filling and they were so good to her. She didnt experience any pain or discomfort during her filling. Always a great experience with Dr. Patel and Dr. Miller. The hygienists and dental assistants are great too. They are always on time and very accommodating when I’m running late. I don’t love going to the dentist but they make it as quick and painless as possible. The small touches like choice of music or tv channel while getting work done make the time go by faster.

Ive had the greatest experience Ive ever had when going to the dentist. I was made to feel comfortable and was walked step by step on what was going on. The entire staff is friendly and make you feel at ease and at home. You walk in and are greeted by name as if you have been their friend for years. This will be one office I would recommend to anyone and will honestly say if you fear going to the dentist they will make you feel comfortable and help you feel relaxed.

Today I had my first appointment at Beacon Hill Dental. When I first walked in I was amazed at how beautiful It was inside! The staff was very friendly and informative. I felt comfortable and enjoyed my experience. I will be returning for many more visits!

My son needed to get in to a dentist quickly and our regular dentist couldnt seee him for a few days. We called Beacon Hill and they saw him right away. The technology they use is much better than our previous experiences at dental offices. My son was able to watch cartoons right at the dental chair while they pulled his tooth. Very caring dentist who took the time to explain what needed done and why, as well as how it went when it was all done. We will be continuing our dental care for the whole family at this practice from now on.

I was a patient for years here and was not informed when supplying new insurance that they were not in network anymore. I had no review of costs that were associated with just basic cleanings because they were in the interim of replacing the billing individual who left. This was always the first thing we did if new fees were going to be charged. Since no review was done that the fees were the same as before. The new billing individual never addressed any of my concerns and when the insurance company contacted her, she kept submitting the same thing over and over (my appointment schedule) disregarding what the insurance was asking for which was prior history in which I had to get involved to resolve. During all mine and my sons normal routine visits I was unaware until I received the insurance EOB that I had been charged over $500. Be careful when choosing this dentistry.

Went here because I was told they were in network, come to find out they either were not or went out of network and didn’t disclose that (Told two different things). Ended up costing us much more than we should have paid. Husband was told he had two fillings, went to two other dentist that confirmed he did not. I feel they are dishonest and out for profit.

Everything about this place was great. Kids loved it, treated them great... what more could you ask for? Prices I feel are really great. The medical staff was really impressive with the kids. 2 had the same 1, I forgot her name but she was really great with them. When they come home and cant stop talking about how nice she was you them then thats a huge win. The front end staff was superb! The receptionist was really friendly and on top of things. I had made a statement in passing that the kids were on break and this time would have worked better. A few days goes by and shes calling me to tell me they could get me in at that time I wanted. She didnt need to do that when I had an appt set. I thought that was way above my expectations. And the office manager (I believe thats her position) was really the deal closer! Her personality, ease to talk with, service...we were going back and forth on joking banter like old friends, just everything Ive had to deal with her on was outstanding. Ive never had an experience like that at any medical clinic! I really wish I remembered all their names but Im horrible with that.

My family and I have been patients of Dr. Paul and Dr. Rita Miller for years. The staff at Beacon Hill is second to none. As soon you walk in the front door and speak with the ladies behind the welcome desk, you can tell things are different at Beacon Hill. The bedside manner and attitudes of the staff are a direct reflection of the way youll be treated by the Doctors.They are great with children and always take time to explain what they are going to do and that you understand it before they start. My wife and I have four children so there are always conflicts in our schedule. Beacon Hill has always worked with us to schedule appointments that fit our schedule not theirs. They also offer late appointment days in case youre working late or have youth sports practices like we do. We were so tired of putting up with our old dentist and bouncing from place to place looking for just someplace we didnt hate. I am so glad our family found Beacon Hill. Dr. Paul, Dr. Rita and their staff have truly become such dear friends that we look forward to our visits. I highly recommend Beacon Hill to anyone in the NWI area.

BEWARE OF THIS DENTIST!!! BEWARE OF THE NEW PATIENT SPECIAL!!! 8 months I had lost my dental insurance moved to North West Indiana from South Bend and needed to get a new filling as the one I had fell out one month ago. I am over 50 years old, all my life took good care of my teeth with electric brush thoroughly, water pick& flosser after almost every meal plus routine check and clean twice a year.I looked on line and found this Beacon Hill Dentistry, Crown Point, Indiana advertised a ”New Patient Special plus good reviews.I called and made an appointmentThey spent almost an hour on the exam and x-rays and were very nice and professional. After the dentist came in and spent 2 minutes checking me and said he can fill my cavity on my upper tooth then suggested I buy a dental guard. I told him don’t want to buy a dental guard. He immediately leftHere is where I begin my complaint:The girl came in and told me I have 6 bottom teeth that require deep cleaning. I responded please just arrange regular cleaning (Note: my old dentist in south Bend never told me I required a deep cleaning in thelast 4 years.) the response from the girl shocked me: her words::she would not do the regular cleaning covered by the advertised special unless I agreed to do the deep cleaning which most insurances rarely approve which I will talk more about later. She then took me out to the office for a quote.In the office the manager showed me the x ray and explained to me how important the deep cleaning was. I explained to her I don’t have insurance and not much money and wanted to put off this deep cleaning and get a filling replaced as soon as possible. The manager then said she won’tdo filling and regular cleaning if I won’t do deep cleaning.I ASKED HER IF THE DEEP CLEANING WAS NEEDED IN ORDER TO FILL MY FILLING . ( THE DEEP CLEANING WAS ON THE BOTTOM TEETH AND MY FILLING WAS ON THE UPPER TOOTH). SHE ADMITTED NO THE DEEP CLEANING WAS NOT REQUIRED TO FIX THE CAVITY AND PUT IN A NEW FILLING!AT THIS POINT I ASKED HER NICELY AGAIN SINCE THE DEEP CLEANING DOES NOT EFFECT THE MORE URGENT CAVITY AND FILLING, WHAT WONT THEY PERFORM THIS URGENT NEED,WHY DO THEY PUT THE CAVITY FILLING UNDER A CERTAIN CONDITION OF NON REQUIRED DEEP CLEANING AND NOT PUT ASIDE THE DEEP CLEANING FOR ANOTHER TIME. THE MANAGER THEN TO COVER HER SELF SAID FINALLY SHE WOULD HAVE TO ASK THE DENTIST! CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS?I am Asian, Because I speak with a little broken English she thinks I am stupid? I lost trust to this dental office then decided if they do this or try to make me spend an huge amount of money on expensive procedure and ignore the more important procedure to get money!!!How many other patients have they done this to ?I would like to hear from other patients from this dentist as I and my husband are really outraged.I looked online and the prices for a deep cleaning is nothing more than a money maker and think they can push this on unsuspecting patients. I paid them for the x-ray,exam and left . As one of those people who are not fond of dental appointments, I was pleasantly surprised by Beacon Hill Dental. The facility is new and spotless. Zeena greets you with a welcoming smile. My hygienist, Alix, was also very friendly. She told me about everything she was doing, she was gentle yet thorough with my cleaning. Im no dental equipment expert, but it seems like they use the latest and greatest technology. I also scheduled a whitening appointment with Kadie whose smile and perkiness was very much appreciated as well. Dr. Miller was also very friendly and cordial, good sense of humor as well. I wont be afraid of the dentist anymore. I highly recommend these docs.

I have been a patient of Beacon Hill Dental for 4 years. I cant say enough great things about this practice. Ive had major work done by many different practices in my lifetime, most have been awful experiences. My fears of the dentist started as a child and continued through adulthood.Doctors Miller, Patel and the staff they have treat me like family. I just went today to have a new crown made, it is in my mouth now! No impression molding choking you while you wait fo it to set up. One and done, is just one example.In May, my husband was diagnosed with tonsil/throat cancer. He had an infected tooth and needed a dental clearance in order to have surgery. They were able to make the appropriate arrangements with an endodontist, dental surgeon and do the fillings needed for that clearance, all within two weeks! Everyone is so friendly and personable and the building is very clean. Scheduling an appointment is quick and easy and they do their best to get you in as soon as possible.

Staff was amazing and went out of their way to help me. But the reason Im so upset with them is because I had my daughter there January 16th and they took a x rays of her teeth and no mention of an abscess. Had to take her to a specialist today January 22 not even a week later the specialist reviewed the exact same x ray that Beaconhill sent over and the specialist notified me that my daughter had an infection in her tooth.

During a recent trip to CA I had a traumatic fall. Because I had already established myself as a patient with Beacon Hill and Dr. Patel I paged Dr. Patel Saturday morning to share details of my injury. Gratefully, she responded to the page within a few minutes. She gave great advice and good patient instructions. Her tone was very calming and put me more at ease.Once home I went in to the office on Monday. She had already discussed my case with Dr. Miller and formulated a treatment plan for an optimal outcome. After seeing me and realizing the true extent of my trauma she and her fantastic, kind and thoughtful team immediately got on the phone to find just the right specialists (Oral Surgeon and Endodontist) to treat me right away! The specialists, complementing Dr. Patel on being quickly proactive, had many great things to say about Drs. Patel and Miller which was a true comfort.Drs. Patel and Miller are excellent diagnosticians, very thorough, patient, compassionate and caring. Despite losing teeth and some facial trauma they made me feel so much better—emotionally and clinically. I never felt rushed or confused. I was confident in their care and treatment plan and have recovered well with their help. THANK YOU Drs. Patel and Miller!

Prior to becoming a patient at Beacon Hill I totally disliked other practices that I was a patient of. The staff and doctors here are amazingly friendly. Im always greeted by Zina, Katie or whomever is at the front, by name and with a smile. Doctors Miller and Patel-Miller are a great team and always indulge me by hearing my stories about my children. Most importantly, they use the most high tech and innovative instruments and always make sure Im well taken care of. I HIGHLY recommend Beacon Hill Dental if youre looking for a place to feel comfortable and welcome and for the best dental treatment in the region.

The staff, hygenists, and doctors are all amazing; every person goes above and beyond to make you comfortable and make going to the dentist the best experience it can possibly be. Theres even coffee, tvs, and your own choice of music in each room. I HIGHLY recommend! ;)

Went there for first time today and let me tell you. I have never felt so relaxed from the beginning of my visit to the end. The staff is very polite and patient.
