I started seeing Dr. Ashley after I had a back injury at work and she did wonders for me. A year later my psoriatic arthritis in my knees starting giving me a great deal of pain and I could barely walk. Went to orthopedic doctors got injections and the pain was so unbearable for me. I told the doctor my whole leg was killing me now after injections and she said I think its your sciatica I said then Im at the wrong doctor I immediately call Dr. Ashley and almost immediately the leg and knee pain disappeared. I tell her where the pain is in my legs and she gives me an adjustment and the pain disappears I highly recommend if you have arthritis of any kind try this route first you will be amazed. Dr. Ashley actually LISTENS to you which is rare to find a doctor these days that have that quality. And the staff here is phenomenal. Im a client for life.

The girls in the office are extremely friendly and helpful. They took extra care to answer my questions and guide me through the process. When I walked in, they knew who I was and greeted me by my name then walked me through the paperwork. Monday morning I was in so much pain I couldnt even stand up straight. I have a family of 7 to support on a single income and cant afford to miss work. Well, thanks to Dr Ashley I was able to go to work that night. My wife and I have been going to Optimal ever since Dr Ashley opened in Crown Point. Shes a very caring person who is extremely good at what she does. She is also incredibly knowledgeable about health and fitness, I love learning from her while she adjusts me. After hideous experience being told to wait four days to be adjusted when I was in terrible pain, I called around and found Optimal.They got me in as fast as they could and treated me in first visit. I was in worst pain Ive ever been in and next day its 80% better.Summary:1 week neck shoulder pain with self-treat ice/hot alternating...not much effect.1 week with standard steroid pack and muscle relaxers...almost no difference.1 visit with Optimal with 30 minute massage and next day 80% better. (Note: unlike every other massage I ever had, this was wildly painful and it took Buddha power not to jump up and run but they got me thru it).This tweak was qualitatively different than anything and the most pain I have been in my entire life and I am psyched to have found the real chiropractic office in the area!!

The staff is very nice. They are very flexible and offer a wide range of hours. Dr. Ashely is well informed and super nice. At times when I have needed to get in quicker they have been able to accommodate my needs. I have had other experiences in the nw Indiana with Chiropractic care that I have been less than pleased with. Optimal Chiropractic has met and exceeded all my expectations. Since I was 16 years old, I have had constant issues with my knee and have worked with numerous chiropractors and physical therapists to get the issue resolved. I have lower back pain and have seen a handful of chiropractors, but Dr. Ashley was by far the most effective Ive ever seen. I saw her just before she left Indianapolis for Crown Point, and Ive missed her ever since. So much that Im occasionally tempted to drive up for more treatment! Her credentials speak for themselves, she knows her stuff. Youre in good hands with her.

DO NOT GO HERE FOR AN ADJUSTMENT OR A MASSAGE. They told me the price at the office, I paid it in full THERE (for a 1st time adjustment & massage), then months later, sent me another bill for $52 in the mail saying I OWED MORE?! They told me at the office during my visit that I was all set & paid & good to go?! So WHY am I being charged even more NOW, months later???!!! I had not returned for a 2nd visit because I was not impressed at all. I waited for what seemed like a lifetime to be seen & I was the only person who was waiting to be seen! And I ended up paying $65 for the massage woman to barely do a thing! It was awkward... she spent a good chunk of the time slightly touching my feet & legs, acting like she was swooshing away bad spirits?! It was creepy. I asked her to focus the majority of the massage on my upper back, shoulders & neck since thats where the pain was and she acted like it was wrong for me to ask such a thing! Ive paid less for massages that actually helped tremendously. Im not trying to be nasty but I was already unimpressed with the wait, unsatisfied with my massage, not thrilled about how much I had to pay, then getting this additional bill just set me off. I called them to question it but of course they wont do anything. If I were you, Id go somewhere else. Dont waste your time or money. I unfortunately wasted mine.

Dr Ashley is amazing! Her office and staff is very friendly. I had lower back pain due to heavy lifting in the gym and she was able to take great care of me and alleviate that pain I highly recommend her!

Before going to DR. Ashley, I had awful back pain that kept me up at night and asthma that was hard to control. Ever since I started coming here and getting adjusted my back no longer keeps me up at night and I barely feel pain! It has also helped my asthma and it is not as bad as it used to be.
