I expect a markup, but they are marked up much more than necessary in my opinion. Brand names they sell were almost $100 more than the exact versions sold on the brands own website, not even considering discount sites! Exercise caution and shop around if thats important to you.3 STARS overall

I had a great experience at Midwest Eye Associates. Everyone was kind and professional. My 6 year old daughter felt very comfortable to the point that she wanted to play eye doctor at home. Dr. Borello took the time to explain everything and I didnt feel rushed.The administrative office made sure I had coverage with my insurance and they communicated everything on time.

This man is a pro and if you have any adjustment issues, he knows how to fix it and does it with a smile (which is admirable, since I have a lot of requirements!).

Dr. Borello and his staff are amazing. They are all very friendly and patient with you when you are looking for new glasses. There is a history of macular degeneration in my family and Dr. Borello always takes extra time to look at my pictures of my macula. He always reviews it with the images from the year before to ensure there have been no changes. I have been going here for years and highly recommend him.

Contact lens fitting is more than twice what you pay at other places ($80).Update: Dont go to this place, they ordered contact lenses for me and claimed against my insurance company without my approval. I told them not to order for me because they refused to price match with Walgreens. I want to order through Walgreens since I get to use my vision care benefit and get the manufacturers rebate. These people are fraud! I never would have thought a health care clinic could try something so sly.

Dr. Borello and his staff make eye appointments easy and efficient. Both my husband and I see Dr. Borello, and we really like his office manner. We came from a retired doc who was old school, but fantastic (Dr. Gail Doell) but Dr. B. and his office staff made the transition easy on us. We fully recommend Midwest Eye Associates.
